ROSSIKE: Did he actually live? That is the question. Look, let's be frank, several ancient godmen who were worshipped long before 'Jesus' bore virtually identical characteristics with him - virgin birth, son of God, miracle worker, disciples, public baptism, the list goes on and on. The godmen? Horus, Dynosius, Mithra, Serapis... Reading through the stories of these ancient gods, it's very clear where the latter Jesus tale came from. Lacking any real proof of his life on earth, many scholars now say that 'Jesus' should be placed in the same category of mythological heroes as Hercules, Merlin, and Sinbad.
Well "Jesus"(as in the Bible) never existed but the man who really lived and was used as a vessel to attach all those attributes from Pagan Gods was "Yahshua"

The modern Jews in israel talk of him, they say he was one of the many false Messiahs, they claimed to be Israel's liberator but he failed woefully.
according to Jews, Mary was a slut

The rest is a myth

Ukuts gp: it is devilish and satanic. It is satan oriented, barbaric and can lead one straight to hell.
And how do u know this?

Wat do u know about your ancestral spirituality that u call it such names?
You are so ignorant and lack basic reasoning.

This is why we need more Pagans active on NL, A pagan MOD and pagan threads hitting frontpage.

Nelly21: Sometimes the way and manner people say things about Jesus Christ baffles me.Do you people think of were you will spend your eternity or you think you will die and go just like that?Do you know that it pains Jesus to hear you blaspheming against him like that?I will strongly advise you to accept as your lord and personal savior before it is too late
Pls stop this evangelism, Jesus is dead, dead people don't save people

mandarin: This is about Moses in the Bible. could he be the son of God who was in the fire or Moses who saw the incidence? I think Yoruba have a way of ascribing powerful energy comparison to their leaders e.g. omo ekun did not mean the person was a child of tiger but in comparison to the force of tiger. What's your take?
Omg! Ladi's statement has nothing to do with Moses.
I get how people's mind would be drown to Moses but it's just ridiculous to say Orunmila is Moses
Culture › Re: Yoruba Origin, History and Canaanland connection. by macof(m): 1:20pm On Dec 07, 2013
ladionline: Ifa has her own reformers after Olokun. Wait, Olokun is said to be 'eleri-ipin'. This means 'one who witness the division'. What division is that? If we understood Oluweri to mean the 'Lord of the sea', we wont have problem with '-eri' being sea (or river). Eleri-ipin may be another cryptic verbal picture for (Olokun)-ipin, that is 'eleri' is feedback from 'Olokun', and that both words mean the same thing. Ipin in this colocation is different from it regular usage, to mean lot or fate. Here it means 'division'. Right, eleri ipin is owner of sea-parting. This shows cognitive projection of a remote scholarstic tradition upholding its source to the third millenia. See also, Proverbs 6sad16-19), 20-22.
Epic fail.

Orunmila is eleri-ipin and no one else

740megawatts: I get your point here. I just thought about this too....many words from Eastern Yoruba axis that begins with 'U' were transcribed to 'I' in the Western and Central Yoruba axes. For example, Ule/Ile, Ufe/Ife, Ubo/Ibo e.t.c.

Could it be that the Yoruba at the Eastern Axis retained the original essence of Yoruba language? Were these people the most ancient? Did the earliest Yoruba ancestors spread out from this axis into Ife and Oyo? These questions require indepth studies because it appears not much was documented on the Eastern Yoruba peoples in research.
The myth of ekiti states that Orunmila left Ife and was the founder of Ekiti, he had 16 children before going back to heaven.

That's why the patron Orisha of Ekiti is Orunmila.

If we take a look, Orunmila lived on earth many years before Oduduwa.

RSAMAN: i like it when i drop a 6 word sentence and your reply is three long paragraphs grin. Everyone has ther opinion based on their favourite rapper. Eminem is no rap god at all, your obssession with eminem is beyond comprehension. From the entire relapse album the only verse that got my attention was the one with the line, 'razors, scissors and pens' from 3am, don't remember it's verse number what from that song. I think inspectah deck's verse from triumph is one of the greatest verses you can ever find today. What do you mean everyone will laugh at you if you start rapping like those cats? Who's everyone, besides your eminem?

Lil wayne
Drake
Young Jeezy
Whiz Khalifa
Kanye West
Nicki Minaj
Rick Ross
2chainz
Soulja Boy
Birdman
Future
French Montana
Big Sean

And the guy who said Monster by eminem and rihanna is one of the greatest rap songs ever. Well that ain't a rap song, that's a pop song.
