Lol. DSA won't give you the knowledge of a 2-3 years experienced Java, Laravel, React etc developer. Even if you're a pro Leetcoder, you can't pull magic.

Someone good at DSA(I mean good, not a solution crammer), would be good at problem solving and learning but still you'd be useless to the team for a while.

Like someone mentioned, FAANG can be cool with the dev being useless for longer periods of time but smaller - medium companies can't afford such deadweight. I still feel the DSA evangelism is a "cart before the horse" scenario.

Everything isn't black and white, both can go together.

Nice, for me, I decided to go a bit deeper since much of my exposure to DSA is from blog posts, random vids and the book "a common sense guide to data structures and algorithms". There are good books like clrs, algorithm design manual e.t.c but I'm not a fan large readings, evident that the book above is the only "programming" book I've completed even though I have tons of them even the ones you listed in my pdf library lol.

I just downloaded the book lol, i am never leaving nairaland.

I was learning how to read and write maths proofs as a prerequisite for learning dsa before now, it seems this book's writing is in plain english. Thanks bro

I didn't want to contribute to this useless topic but seeing what a responsible married man commented down there about his wife. I decided to chip in this.

Now, majority of you who clamour for big bum fail to realize that they get bigger and out of shape with time. Even the small sized ones will also get bigger with time. Look at Rihanna. Just after one and she's looking this big; to think she used to look petit before now.
So if you're judging a woman by shape and size, then you're getting it all wrong because all that will change and very quickly before you know it.

My worry in this kind of thing is, it's the slim and short guys that always want the big butt women. Forgetting that it will get to a time you won't be able to satisfy her any longer as she'll become too thick for your tiny, short or slim frame. Una no dey pity una self.

A little secret here.. a big butt lady once disclosed to my elder sister that they prefer men that are muscular and strong with big gbola. Not even an average size o because it doesn't satisfy them and since then, I've been observing girls with big butt are usually selective and particular about a mans P size.
