Hushpuppi case alone destroyed Nigerians image in Dubai more than any one of you here on NL can believe. I remember vacationing there shortly after the guy's arrest and once the bartender realized where I came from, his countenance and respect towards me dropped...by 70%. |
Tiwa's video is the real toll gate. Come to think of it, that guy no even wear condom. |
One can't help but admire the love between E money and his brother Kcee. Quite commendable. Pasquare should learn from them. |
Kingcalls:Most times I'm baffled by the uninformed responses I see on this forum. My dear, Mr NoSentiment is clearly right on his take on history. Your knowledge is warped by what the western media fed you. Saddam wasn't the mass killer as he was portrayed to be. He was the one that actually kept the extremists in check as he ruled. Check what happened when he was gone? Till today, those monsters are tormenting the US. People who were informed then knew Powell lied and was just used by folks like Dick Cheney and Rumsfeld who had oil interests in Iraq and wanted Saddam out of the way because he was messing their game in Iraq up. That's all there was to that invasion. It was powered by the greed of few men in power. Powell died today regretting it. Fact. |
As much as I like his music, with his recent conduct over this his much hyped family brouhaha; I've come to realize Tuface is central to his wife's continual disrespect from his family. Not taking sides, but you should wonder: His family members openly insult or deride Annie publicly and Tuface hasn't called them to order, publicly or privately ( not that I'm aware of) What even gave them the guts to openly thrash her in the first place? That should stem from how they perceive Tuface ( carefree, walkover man) that gives them room to insult his wife and mother. And Tuface doesn't see anything wrong in that. More worrisome is, I think Annie lacks the intellect to know Tuface failed her woefully therein. And here, all he has to say is, " una no fit make me craze" What's the meaning of that? How mature is such posture? |
deepdeep:Scabies is a stubborn skin disease. Try immersing your fingers and legs in hot saline water for a start, then Google up creams to treat its mites. If you can afford it, dispose of your entire clothes presently. If you can't, dry clean them over and over and keep up with the hot salt water. |
The guilty talks faster than his mouth. See how the video is struggling to catch up with FFK's mouth. |
As a kid, once I see anything I really like; I'd run into the room, tear out a sheet of paper and draw it. To me, it was my way of owning it in my little world. I drew trees, dogs, football and, the first girl that embodied the perfect beauty, to me. Unknown to me, art was finding its voice in me,albeit vestigial whilst I was having fun. Now, I'm an artist. |
Bewiseedet:Fool. No be yoruba betray MKO? When you don't know your history, it repeats itself. By the way, who dem keep that empty seat for? |
longetivity:My brother, I tire o. I think it's because those children glorify thuggery and thievery. Also, dem dey worship people. Anyway, owambe must follow. |
gazza07:Exactly. WIlder really tried. Though he lost, he earned my respect. Fury kept leaning on him with his weight, that stuff can tire out any heavyweight fighter. And, he took that nuisance for 11 rounds. It's not easy at all. Wilder is strong. |
NoToPile:I see. It's clearer now. More clearer is the evil he's committed. This whole thing is troubling. You can't quite blame the girl; she's only running away from poverty but, blindly so, partly due to her age or unsound judgment. I feel for the mother more, I doubt if she sleeps at night through this. |
Sad. I can tell your family is Ibo. I can relate on that. The man is supposed to perform the necessary marriage rites before taking your sister. This is particularly sensitive, with your sister's place as the only girl and first daughter of her mother. She's supposed to be close to your mother into her grey years, or else your mom will be heartbroken sooner or later. Now, the man isn't diabolical. I'm sure he's irresponsible. A well bred man would be in touch with your family, broke or not. He will face his karma soon. He only took advantage of your sister's economic status. She's poor. Equally, he's taking advantage of your family, knowing you guys are poor and can't do nothing. He won't try this rubbish with a well to do family. No. The way forward is, your father and his kins should trace this man's roots. Go there and summon his village elders to a meeting. Table the matter. I'm sure his village elders would intervene. |
Aboki and transistor radio. |
achillesfoot:Well, you're very right. Naija lawless no be small. Agu better take his case to the United Nations. |
An average lawyer will win this case for him hands down. It's cash out time for Agu and any hustling lawyer because they stand to sue the FG big time. |
Akata can never be a good wife material for a typical Nigerian bred son. Alex was lucky. I hope he knows it. Akatas life is full of tales, drama and confusion. It's best to marry a woman who would understand your heart/body language without any word said. And, that's peace of mind. |
Abeg who knows the name of the cream Orji Kalu dey use since he comot prison? |
How many people get time to sit down and watch stuff for 12 hours? These series stuff sef. Why not make it a movie. Short and sharp. |
FreeSpirited:How many Nigerian youths can muster such will power of sustained focus, tenacity or concentration? In these times of BBN, fun blogs and gistlover Instagram news? Too much distraction by the minute. Even Tinubu and Buhari are distractions. Those attributes will only come by His grace on them. |
But, looking at critically, FFK is right about BBN. To all intents, the show is a great distraction. It is good for preteens and teenagers. Any adult that wakes up to invest his day and night times scrutinizing people on a TV show to know if they're acting real or not, certainly needs mental therapy. An adult daily besieged by scarce wants, uncertain future, no jobs...how the hell does he find the peace to follow this program? It's mind boggling. |
Scamburster:You must be Alex reports himself. I salute. |
Rose Muerer na fine woman sha. I no get time for Maduka or Alex. I can't believe Maduka really believes he will win Anambra. Nawao. |
Be like say dem dey compete for fat. Heart disease loading. |
He spilled some words of wisdom. I've just liked this man. |
When I see news like this, it begins to make sense for the internet to be regulated in Nigeria. |
UK na very stupid and stingy people. When they were dragging Brexit, they were forewarned on a future like this, still they ignored it. They wanted foreigners out because foreigners do the jobs the average UK citizen won't do and prospered from them. Cheap envy. They'd better leave the foreigners out and let their own citizens drive their trucks. Nonsense. The foreigners are well settled in their various EU countries and have moved on. UK, cry on. |
martyns303:Don't be a hypocrite. US is far better than UK in tax matters. UK will bleed you dry but in US, you can save a whole lot and you will enjoy the amenities in which your tax is plugged into. Who enjoys a free tax place like Nigeria? You have your money which isn't constant but can't enjoy regular light, regular income, good roads, you suffer noise, polluted environment, insecurity, higher mortality rate, no insurance etc. I could go on and on. I really doubt if you've lived in the US. No sane person, after being here will ever chose Nigeria over it. |
R Kelly may have had his fair share of wrongs, sleeping with under age whatever. That's wrong. But, he isn't the only star guilty of that. Thing is, he must have stepped on some toes, seeing how the charge dragged. His big mistake was agreeing to do that interview where he kept banging the table. In sociology terms, the guilty acts theatrically. He played into that concept and opened his ass for more investigation. Now, he's done. |
Funny, indomie mutants may never know the stress some of us went through growing up on daily fuel Jerry can queues at stations. Fuel shortages was normal in Nigeria all through the 90s. Don't know about now. But, it's heartwarming to see UK folks get a taste of this stress. Their govt has been milking other nations of their oil for decades, and still ungrateful for that. |
Not many know, especially indomie mutants that Segun Arinze started out as a singer. He had this classic hit with Ese Agesse in the 90s titled "Some hearts may..." |
Alex is a joo man but he get small sense. He knows very well that this Maduka won't win but keeps leading him on, just to exploit him. Maduka is a greater joo man who can't read the signs on the wall that he's being fooled and bled. He's a case study for nollywood directors. |
