psyco: It was the 2019 elections that pained me the most. I was so disappointed in Nigerians. The 2019 were heavily rigged. It was militarised. Of course we saw it in videos everywhere. And the Supreme Court was fraudulently compromised to prepare for the Appeal. We should not normalise fraud by suggesting that Nigerians voted for these criminals. You can give a monkey a banana. But collecting back is the difficult part. Often impossible. This certain region and tribe knew this but because of hatred for GEJ, they "helped give banana to a monkey". You are joking if you think, for example, Nigeria will cease being the world's capital of poverty at the end of the "tenure" of this regime. If the 2019 was like 2015’s, we would have had a different outcome. |

Wolgrace: Northern-Fulanis have always been the epitome of violence and bloodshed. These are their physical weapons of radically promoting ethnic, religious and political dominance in their region and others at large..
Fact check- it is well known fact they become weaker and powerless when these attroticities are put on check, hence the lack of political will. Reason, they hate peace deal because it is impossible to favour them, for they spread with a brute force.. They know this secret!
They know what they are doing pls...! We knew and know all these... Yet certain people, a certain region, a certain tribe decided to vote them in, in 2015. Don’t blame Buhari or the Fulanis. They are only doing according to their character. Blame those that knew this but opted to work with them. |

BafanaBafana: Atiku still wants to run for president no doubt.
To the matter at hand, the allegations against this man are weighty. While we should stand up against interference from foreigners, it is wrong to support someone just because he is your compatriot or kinsman even when he fvcked up. As it is, Africa is not mature enough to conduct a probe in their own matters. Is it not the same Africa that a "big man" can only be sent to jail if the government in power is against him? A call for an independent probe is in order. If he is innocent of allegations leveled against him, he has absolutely nothing to fear. It is howeve a big shame for the country if the allegations are true.
I don talk my own Perhaps, the United States should call and probe Bush for crimes against humanity in the Iraqi Genocide AKA Iraqi War, call and probe Obama and Sarkozy for slaughtering of Libyans in the racist move to oust Ghaddafi, perhaps the US should treat its diabolical racist treatment of its own citizens AKA Black Americans, perhaps the US should probe and try its officials who have been backing the murderous Saudi regime in its genocidal campaign against Yemen...... Before they focus on Adesina? Or is Adesina less a human being because he is African and black? Dont you think so? |

Chuky7: Four months ago before the covid 19 pandemic, a company I was working for (On contract basis) flew me and my team members to our destination of work and back when the work was done.
During this flight I saw this pretty fair skinned Flight Attendant. She was just so astonishing beautiful and diligent, always smiling at everyone (obviously being the nature of her work)
I guess she had a magic touch on because I couldn't get my mind off her. She only had contact with me once, when I requested a change of seat so I could view the sky. I told her she was gorgeous and good at her work. She smiled and asked what I do I told her am into tech. She said she knew nothing about tech but would love to learn a thing or two. That moment she left to attend to other passengers.
We got to our destination. The plane landed and passengers were getting off.
I looked around for her as I stood up but didn't see her. I even asked one of her fellow flight attendant if she knew her but she couldn't recognize who I spoke of. So I left it that way.
She just stuck in my mind until now.. I’ve searched from Google, facebook and instagram and even some dating websites. Nothing.
Of course i sent an email to the Airline to Praise them for their service and codedly asked for her contact number. Unfortunately they told me the info is Private and they can only share the email to him when she's off duty.
I am hoping on trying all the possible way to find her. I bought some flight tickets of her airline for traveling.
Am just hoping i can meet her again and get her number myself.
How I hate myself for not being smart and fast enough to ask for her contact details before I alight from the plane. I even forgot her name and I do not know how am I going to locate her.
I love meeting people all around the world and in spontaneous places. Other than the normal. That really gets my blood rushing (I guess that's why I have so much interest in her)
How you suggest I find her?...
Has anyone had similar experience... Maybe in the air or in some crazy location LOL. I had a similar experience. Flew from Abuja to Port Harcourt and found myself admiring a dark skinned beauty on the Air Peace flight. Mehn, this chic was finnneeee! Our connected and she tossed a smile at me. When we disembarked she made sure she came to help me with my luggage lol. Didnt get her number as there was no need to. I was leaving the country so no need involving myself with someone that wont last. We chatted and she got my name- and sent a linkedIn request much later |

obembet: Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has defended Virgil van Dijk after a fake quote from Michael Ballack criticising the defender appeared on social media.
The ex-Chelsea midfielder was claimed to have put van Dijk's meteoric rise in the Premier League down to the lower standard of attackers.
The quote, which has been widely shared on social media, says: "Virgil van Dijk is very lucky to play in an era where there is no [Didier] Drogba, [Frank] Lampard, Alan Shearer, [Thierry] Henry, [Wayne] Rooney, [Robin] Van Persie, [Carlos] Tevez, [Emmanuel] Adebayor and Diego Costa in the Premier League. No wonder they think he is the best defender in the league."
That quotes went viral on social media and, although it now appears to have no credibility, the claims against van Dijk caused controversy on social media.
Henderson responded to an Instagram post by backing up his Liverpool teammate Van Dijk.
Henderson wrote: "They're the lucky ones," accompanied with a winky face, which leaves it unclear if he's aware the quotes are fake or not.

Romance › Re: My Girlfriend Just Confessed She Fornicated Inside The Church by madridsta007(m): 11:58pm On May 25, 2020 |
Lifedonor: I will have to go straight to the point.
The lockdown due to covid 19 made my girl friend and I bond even closer to the extent she practically was almost living with me. She only leave my place to her house (not too far from mine) just to change her clothes or her other items as the case maybe. Sometime along the line I fell ill and she was very much helpful.
Fast forward to early May, I discovered she had become too glued to her phone. We would be seeing a movie on TV and her phone will be with her (chatting) at a point I complained. This got worse to the extent that when I wake up in the night say 1AM this girl is still up charting.
Two days ago I went to the hospital for my final check up and I left with the keys since she wasn't around when I left the house. When I got back I found her small Nokia phone on the table and I decided to go through it.
The messages I found there are things I won't want to talk about but the major one that promoted this thread is that I saw a message from her choir member telling her that he is on his way to church already and that she should come fast before the program starts so they can meet. I went through his previous messages with her and lo and behold they have been dating for a month now.
Guys when she got back I threatened fire and brimstone and booommm! The confession. They usually meet an hour before choir practises and they went behind the church towards the generator house to kiss touch and romance that was the reason she always left the house so Early.
Do you guys know that we had a very good sex that same day she left to the church to kiss this guy. Do you know she bathed in my house, she used my deodorant, she ate my food and wore the clothes I bought for her. Apparently she kissed and romanced two guys in less than 3hrs.
This is the second time she is cheating on me. I know quite sure there could be more but this is the only one she agreed to may be cos there was a text evidence.
She has been pleading and begging. But if she could do this even in the church and on a day I was in the hospital ... I am thinking of quitting. Pls advise me
She is 22 in her finals the guy is 25 same university (I live in a university town)
I have met her parents and I have verbally told her that I would marry her. If not for the way 2020 turned out I wanted settling down November this year. We have dated for 2yrs
She even spoke to my mom in the morning of the same day. You are still “thinking of quitting?” Even with this proof? No don’t quit the relationship. Stay there and continue fornicating. So that you will regale us with threads when she continues cheating when married. Generally, a 22 year old girl is probably in her most adventurous time of her life and you want to use marriage to tie her down. Odiegwu. Stay there. |

FeliciaOja: It is now I understand what being strict does, it makes you live a life of pretence, cos when I got into University I wanted to explore everything I didn’t have the chance of doing at home.
I drank alcohol like crazy, smoked weed, hung out with rich boys, partying, doing drugs but when I go visit my Parents, I still act like that innocent girl they have always known.
My Dad’s strictness led to my Pretence, if he had drawn me close like my mum did, I would have been a better kid.
When parents use strictness to shut down a kids curiosity instead of guiding them, you are making matters worse for that kid. Because eventually that curiosity will lead them into adventures and exploring all those things you refused them to..
Looking back, al the flogging I received from my dad only made me more stubborn and ruthless.
Nothing really changed? Until my mum made me change for good.
Parents need to use wisdom not force.. Have some personal accountability and stop shifting blames. Are you an APC member? You did what you did because of the choices YOU made. And not because of your parents discipline. I was disciplined by my parents, to the point where I once doubted if my Dad was my Dad. Because the way I was beaten. I went to a Army School and a Unity School. The discipline, "no get part two". Yet, I did not "change" when I had the freedom to do so in Uni and later years. Own your bad behaviour. |

Great100000: A Nigerian prodigy, Damilola Arowolaju, has bagged a PhD in Law from The George Washington University, in the United States of America.
Damilola, who hails from Omuo Ekiti, in Ekiti East Local Government area of Ekiti State is the son of a former Special Adviser to Governor Segun Oni on Due Process, Dr Bayo Arowolaju
Damilola, who was also the President of the 2020 PhD graduating students, was garlanded at the university’s virtual convocation ceremonies held on Thursday, May 21, 2020.
The former Special Adviser who confirmed this to journalists in Ado Ekiti on Saturday was elated that his son could be decorated with such a high academic honour at the age he secured admission to the University of Lagos, where he studied Sociology.
He said:
“My baby, Dr. Damilola Arowolaju, with the grace of God just graduated with a PhD in Law from the George Washington University School of Law, Washington DC, USA.
“He gave an address to the fellow graduands as the President of the GW Bar Association. Graciously, he did this at 24 years of age, when I was just entering the University in Nigeria for my first degree. May our children be higher and be more successful than us all. Amen
“I am overwhelmed, speechless and flabbergasted by this outstanding feat. I am excited and more motivated to do more to uplift humanity”.
Arowolaju appealed to the Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, to rejig and expand the scope of the State’s scholarship board to be able to benefit the children of the poor, who are outstanding in their academics.
In a video clip containing his speech to the graduand, Damilola said he shall continue to promote justice for all manners of men, irrespective of creed, race and class.
The swaggering academic added that no sacrifice is too much to make to protect human rights and promote self-respect among humanity, describing these as the best way to entrench equality in the system.
He said:-
“Justice means making huge sacrifices that would guarantee all constitutional freedoms for all and sundry.
“When I say justice, I mean for both innocent and guilts. The one that brings equality, stability and raise the hope for a better society. That is what we should all pursue using morality and the instrumentality of Law.
“My graduation today was a result of the sacrifices made by my parents to ensure that I excel in my academic pursuit”

Even if he doesn't have money It’s all emotions. Which I don’t think is a good determinant here. Because emotions are subjective. For every one friend who is lamenting that Iheanacho has forgotten him, there are possibly 10 others who were friends with Iheanacho and have moved on with their lives and are doing well for themselves. Where would those 10 be if they stood at a standstill crying out to their unofficial benefactor, Iheanacho? Let me guess: broke, stranded and stagnant. Nigerians generally have a very terrible entitlement mentality. It’s one of the things that has held Nigerians backward and has caused envy and jealousy. If someone helps you, great and fine. Kelechi Iheanacho was my childhood friend, we grew up together in the same neighborhood Nekede Old Road Owerri IMO state. We played the street balls together under the rain and scorching sun. We attended the same primary school; Unique Nursery and primary school Umualum Nekede No 4 b/stop as at then but has relocated to a new site now. We did almost everything together but today grace has found you and you've rose and clapped your way into the corridors of fame and stardom, you're now a celebrity not just in Nigeria but all over the world.
I remember how we conquered the environments of Ama - ato. Azuatalam, Chigozirim known as Podosky and you and I. If we are not there the games won't be fun but you've forgotten so fast and now mingles with those that you met after being famous.
We played an academy club "Danish" together for years before you moved to Taye academy how can you just forget those days so fast?
I remember how happy i was when i watched you play for Nigeria under 17 in UAE 2013.. I was not surprised when you conquered the world in that stage because i knew how good you were prior to then. Your senior brother Uchenna couldn't give me your contact because we are no more on the same pedestrian, you've moved higher.
Hear this,
I'm writing this not because hunger has finished my life but because a picture with you now will serve as a story i will tell to my children. Don't forget that the bodyguards and security personnel guarding you from people coming close to you, were not there when we use to go to the bush in Uzo ubi those days in search of riped fruits. It pains my heart that you've forgotten most of us who suffered with you and grew up together with you in the hood.
It's hard for me to get reach to you again as i've followed you in all social media platforms, Instagram, twitter, e.t.c. But it's easy if you want to get to me, if really you want to.
Please whoever that can reach out to Kelechi Iheanacho should help me and show him this letter and tell him it was written by Bala as i was nicknamed those days.
Rising to stardom doesn't mean you should forget those who grew up with you. I still remember paying for some matches we watched together at the viewing centres even game centres for PS2 (PlayStation). The things we did together are so enormous that i can't put all in writing.
Friends, i know Kelechi Iheanacho may not see this but you that is reading it now, don't forget the people with you now when luck shines on you.
Don't call them lazy, poor or feel irritated when you see them coming to you. We all started from somewhere and grace found you.
Godswill Uche (A.K.A Bàlà) Stating Kelechi Iheanacho “has forgotten me...”‘speaks of that entitlement mentality in Nigerians. Unless he signed a contract to remember you when he gets to paradise, Iheanacho owes you nothing. That’s the plain truth. You are subtly demonising him here and trying to whip up public sentiments against him. This is very wrong. You had a life together. He’s moved on. You should. He owes you nothing. If he reaches out to you, great. If he doesn’t, he’s done nothing wrong. |

I suspect the Americans have reviewed all international bodies to identify the bodies who are under the Chinese influence— real or perceived— and are engaging in geopolitical warfare. AfDB, the FAO, WHO, etc, will come under fire. Chinese nationals now head four of the 15 specialized agencies under the United Nations- FAO, ICAO, ITU and UNIDO and have significant clout in the others. Adesina is a thoroughbred professional but when America's foriegn policy hawks come for you, they come for you. He should know that he isnt operating in the academic space, but the geopolitical space and should have employed a trusted political adviser. It’s just geopolitics; he will be the collateral damage. Nothing personal. Even a US citizen Brett Kavanaugh almost became a collateral damage during Dems vs. Reps Supreme Court fight. Washington is waking up to countering Beijing's influence in the UN. I think they are late, though. The only way Adesina can ward them off is by demonising them as racists and the attack as neocolonialism in the media. We know how this is done. Use third parties in the media. Go to downtown DC and pay good media lobbyists. One or two articles are fine. It will earn him scorn from the US government but it will extend his at time the AfDB. Trump wouldn’t want to be labelled as a racist in an election year by a black man, a professional. The Dems will amplify that message. Trump will back off but come for him when he wins re-election. At this point he should actively try to distance himself and the AfDB from Chinese foreign influences. Stay away from photos. Visit DC once in a while. You can bet an agent in the State Department has been assigned to Adesina’s case. Believe me unless he acts, he is quarter to go. Those guys are ruthless. Adesina should employ a political strategist, and a quickly too. A thinker. I can offer him my services for free as I like him. |

Properties › Re: Please Help. My Apartment Is Being Haunted By A Ghost. by madridsta007(m): 10:22pm On May 23, 2020 |
Cloud699999: Good morning Nairalander,
It all started Last week When a neighbor next to my apartment died without nobody noticing for 2 days until she started smelling. We didn't actually suspect that it was from her room until someone came looking for her because she wasn't answering her phone, which was still ringing inside and the door was locked from the inside that was how we knew she was dead, already swollen because the last time we saw was Sunday night and we didn't know untill Tuesday that she was dead.
All this happened last week. Later that Tueday family and friends with police came to evacuate her corpse. No foul play or any struggle seems she died in her sleep. She was young and a very playful lady and lively. She is 36 years old single mother and she lives.
So the haunting started 2 days later. The First one happened around 2am, My girlfriend said she saw someone looking like standing by the door outside just staring straight at her, there was no light and the window was open, so when she pointed torch light she saw nothing but when she switch the torch light, she saw the shadow of the same person. That really scared shit out of me because she later told me in the morning.
The second was last night. Someone was banging seriously on the toilet window because it's an iron window. The banging continue for almost 3hours. It was double banging as if someone was knocking hard. I doubt it was someone when I try I check I couldn't find anyone there, few minute later the banging continue till around 4.30am when mosque call out for prayer. And I could here some here some sound like someone walking in the next room where she died, no one was home. Her sister refuse to sleep in the room so it was locked.
Please help, how can I get rid of this unwanted disturbances. I don't know what to do. This last night scare me to the bone. The funniest thing. No one heard this banging except me. The other neighbors have different theory.
Anyone experience this kind of thing before? How did you handle it? 1. She was killed. 2. You need serious prayers. NB:Ghosts only haunt those who have a hand in their death. |
