As Ugo Egbujo points out below, Obaseki is in big trouble and in serious need of prayer:
" The godfathers of the PDP are master opportunists.
They want part of his today and part of his tomorrow.
They want him to know they cannot be Oshiomholed.
Obaseki is sweating because he had thought that a concluded discussion should be finalized with nods.
But he misread the PDP and their seasoned godfathers. These ones do not pretend to righteousness.
The PDP waited for him to become an internally displaced politician before showing him the fine prints. Obaseki is sweating.
A baby that has lived all his life on the back of his mother wont know that walking is not like drinking milk.
These PDP people. He will pay for his form. He will pay for the forms of all the aspirants and pay all the bills they have incurred so far.
Then he will pay for party support in all the local govts . Then he will see all party elders in Edo. Then he will see party elders in Abuja.
Then he will drop his deputy governor. Then he will give them commissioner and board positions.
Even ndi Mbaise’s long wedding list isnt this Kilimanjarous
Please pray for Obaseki."
~ Ugo Egbujo
This Ugo APC guy in Scotland that is a specialist of blocking people that calls out his putrid zombieism on Facebook is already here? Deceiving Nigerians while he enjoys the lavishness of a working society in Scotland. Such wickedness.
profilemessages: To me its seems people don't want to end up in divorce or on any other problems and issues related with marriage any longer. All that is usually seen are single guys still remaining single for along time.
Or am I dreaming or something
What do you think?
Many reasons, the primary one being the economy situation of the country. Research has shown that when the economy improves, weddings pick up. When the economy crashes, weddings falls. This is very simple, I think.
Soulmender: Lol.. But what if she's not a fraudster? Maybe a nice girl that just wants something special on her birthday?
Oh please. Not everyone is stupid. Proposal request not accepted... Till 6 months after the initial proposal, she accepts and times it to come a day or two before her birthday She isnt even smart to be honest.
Soulmender: Send her nice text messages and call her to wish her happy birthday, don't buy her anything yet to see her real intentions and reaction.... If she behaves positive , you can get her gift a week later.
OP is you fall for this. You should be beaten up. This girl is a fraudster like many of them are. Even if she behaves well after a week, still dump her and move on.
manny4u: We are in an era in Nigeria right now where we are actually running out of good people worthy of respect and emulation. Gone are the days when we use to have Nnamdi Azikiwe, Ahmadu Bello, Tafawa Balewa, Obafemi Awolowo and so on.This were all great Nigerians who were not corrupt and actually served their country well.
Even those whom we use to respect so much such as Adams Oshiomole, Femi Adeshina, Reuben Abati and even Buhari all got into government and started acting like the others.
So in recent times who are your stand out Nigerians worthy of such stand out respect?
For me I would say late Maitama Sule and Prof. Pat Utomi.
Irked by the directive, the Cross River State government told the traders to disregard the directive, vowing to "prosecute any person or group of persons under any guise seen obstructing any Igbo trader from opening his/her shop for business in the state on Monday, June 22, 2020 and Tuesday, June 23, 2020".
The government can only say this if they are being hurt by the closure. Well-done, Ndi-Igbo. All lovers of democracy love peaceful protests. This is one of them.
Iceyjayz: Stay away from broke girls, run as fast as you can if possible, if you are earning good income monthly stick to high class ladies that are earning good income too, so that you can both complement each other.
I've learnt the hard way and I can never repeat such stupid mistake again.
SmartProf: From the North, South, East to West the complains are the same, and all point towards a failed Nigerian state, meanwhile our leaders are busy chasing after who will take control of political party structures and their 2023 ambitions, when in 2020 they've done nothing. The country has very misplaced priorities
Nigeria is failed because Nigeria has an inept, incompetent and largely missing President. Running a Presidential system of government mean that someone who MUST be visible MUST be seen to be in charge. This is basic na. Without this visibility, everyone with some form of "power" arrogates to himself or herself that Presidential mantle. And, of course, criminals thrive under this environment.
Nigeria wasnt this bad under the military governments or under the few civilian government's she's had. It is simple: Visibility.

LukasPodolski: Nicolas Nkoulou scored the only goal for Torino in a 1-1 draw with Parma, the team celebrated in a huddle, they all pulled away but Skipper Belotti stayed in support of Nkoulou whilst he kneeled down.
I think this tweet is harmless though the handler wasn't sensitive.....Still it's negligible.
Italians lol. They know what they were doing. There were other pictures that came from his kneeling. Yet they chose this white supremacy-reinforcing one.

presidency: STATEMENT BY PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI ON NIGERIA’S ATTAINMENT OF WILD-POLIO-FREE STATUS – JUNE 21, 2020
I congratulate all Nigerians as our country attains this historic status of being free from the Wild Polio Virus. So many partners, local and international, have contributed tirelessly to this feat — we are deeply grateful to each and every one of you.
This achievement reflects the resilient spirit of Nigerians, in particular the strength and capacity of our health workers, who drew resources and support from multiple sectors to deal a final blow to the Wild Polio Virus.
This achievement is not only one of the great successes of this generation of Nigerians but also one of the obvious dividends of this administration, which is consistent with our progressive investment in the health of our people since 2015.
This landmark achievement is also a promise kept to all Nigerians. As you will recall, in August 2015, barely three months after we assumed office, I promised Nigerians that: “My government shall provide the necessary resources and commitment required to strengthen the health system, routine immunization and ensure the country is certified Polio-free.”
When, in 2016, Nigeria suffered a major setback with the outbreak of the Wild Polio Virus in Borno State, after about 2 years without any case, I directed the immediate release of N9.8billion to the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) to contain the outbreak.
Subsequently, we have been meeting all our financial obligations to bilateral and multilateral agreements, and have also provided the moral support and leadership required at all levels to motivate the men and women in the frontline of polio eradication in Nigeria.
In addition, we sincerely appreciate our donors and development partners who stood by the country during those trying times.
This achievement of polio free status is a hard-won battle spanning over three decades of hard work and dedication by the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI), the Federal, States and Local Governments, polio eradication teams at all levels, our donors and development partners, both local and international.
As we recall, the polio eradication structures were used when Nigeria successfully eradicated Ebola Virus Disease within the shortest possible time in 2014.
I am glad that these same human, material and technological resources have been deployed to steadily increase Routine Immunization coverage and are being organized to implement the fight against community transmission of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This big battle would not have been won without the support of our donors and development partners including Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Aliko Dangote Foundation, Rotary International, United States Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, USAID, Sir Emeka Offor Foundation, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), European Union, Global Health Canada, German Development Bank (KfW), WHO, UNICEF, Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Polio Survivors Group, the media, and faith-based and other non-governmental organizations.
Let me also acknowledge the immense contribution of traditional and religious leaders who mobilized communities to accept the immunization program and other government programs.
The final theatre of the polio eradication fight was particularly championed by the Northern Traditional Leaders Committee on Polio Eradication and Primary Health Care (NTLC) under the guidance of His Highness, Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Saad Abubakar, and the strategic leadership of the late Shehu of Bama, Alh. Kyari Ibn Umar El-Kanemi.
We thank you all for the leadership and partnership over the years.
This victory is for us all, and for future generations of Nigerians.
Who cares if you hold it forever Will that stop the bandits in the North?
You lots in the South still dont understand the Northern elite.
The Northern elite (political and traditional) are quite different from the Northern proletariat, also called the "masses". The Northern elite are full protected from the Fulani terror bandits. They also want and would never give away power without a fight. Abacha, Babagida and the charade surrounding Ya ardua's death are clear examples.
They love power so MUCH. Not that they will do anything useful with it anyway. But they dont care as long as it is in their hands. As for the Northern Masses, these ones are pawns in the hands of the elites. And will remain pawns and easy targets for these bandits. However, come elections, religion and tribal card will be waved and they will vote and kill for whoever the Northern elites tell them to do. It is simple politics, Northern style. Has always been so even before the colonial masters came to what is now known as Nigeria.
You lots in the South dont get it. Bandits can kill whoever they want to kill up North. As long as the elites are protected, they will do nothing. And hold tightly unto power. Personally, I respect them. They know what they want and ruthlessly work to achieve it.
smallsmall: So, VIOLENCE is now the attributes of a "good man"? THUGS are certainly looking for employment, continue, you hear.....its your head and your life.
Unfortunately, when Nigerians elect someone who said, "dogs and baboon will be soaked in blood" to rule over them, it is only normal to expect violence in elections. We can pretend to ourselves if we want to; however, when a cycle of elections come, like 2019's, that statement will play out itself. It is very simple.
Obaseki, you seem like a good man. A man who has genuine concern for his people. You would easily win the elections if the elections were held under a Democrat.
However, MBuhari is not a democrat and the Sharia Supreme Court judge isnt. APC will contest your elections as they did the 2019 elections- with blood, violence and tears. Unless you match their violence with bigger violence, you would NOT win. We must tell ourselves the truth. It is a sad state of things, but this is the only way you can retain your Governorship. It has to be, like MBuhari once said, "baboon and dogs soaked in blood".
Daily Trust are being scared to say it as it is. Failed State. That is what it is mirroring. It is clear that there is no one in charge of Nigeria. Just a number of Northern elements propped by their South Western political and media allies. Excellent environment for anarchy.
sholarr12: Perhaps, because of the AC you dozed off? Or you didn't sleep well at night and that made you doze off?
Share your experience.
Almost dozed off during my PhD Oral Defence, as we call it in the US... Didnt sleep for three days and three nights before it. Then they asked the first question... stung me like a bee and made me realise that I was in a boxing heavyweight match. Some hours later, to the glory of God, I came out very successful.
GOFRONT: Oh yea, a self-made beautiful lady like this deserve an engagement to a wealthy Millionaire......
No one is ever "self-made".
That is a narcissist manufactured term that is as dishonest as the word, "lie". This lady, a beauty queen, had people advsing her; had people who showed her the form; had people who did her make-up; had her parents who paid her school fees in school that gave her the education that made her comport herself at the beauty stage... I can go on and on. No one is ever "self-made".
Made4naijalove: Regina Daniels is getting close to giving birth soon and has now reunited with her extended family which includes the first wife and other children of the billionaire, Ned Nwoko.
We have some photos of the entire family together in a luxurious car before they got together in a private jet.
JasonScoolari: Initially, I thought it was only Nasir "Aubameyang" El-rufai that would put a nail on the coffin of Asiwaju "David Luiz" Tinubu political career, but surprisingly, we now have a deadly finisher in the person of Godwin "Lewandoski" Obaseki...
This is good for our democracy as it has signal the end of a useless manager like Adams "Sarri" Oshiomhole.
youthsinitiativ: What a shame of a nation and her President.
The monstrous kukuruku is finally coming home to roost.
Wished the Nigerian youths would wake up, Bleep fear for once, and take to the streets to demand a true change by taking over every aspect in civil disobedience.
It is happening in Mali.
If only the youths can come together in one force and voice, we can stop the Atikus, Tinubus, and the old horses in their tracks and wrest 2023 from them. It is doable with enough will and focus.
No be our youths dem dey carry to come sing and ginger people for their rallies? No be our youths dey design and handle their social media and all other PR stuffs?
We are the reason why these idiots are getting more arrogant by the day in action and otherwise because they have seen and concluded that we are indeed sitting lame ducks.
Kai...
If that happens.... Regardless of who leads the charge, the North will say, "the Igbos and Biafrans who hate Buhari want to pull down the regime..." The South West will join them. There will be killings of people from the Old Eastern Nigeria in the North. I am sure we know this. So forget, there wont be any Mali-type protest. Nigeria is too firmly divided for such.
legallyCJ: Soon all the wildlife in Nigeria will only be found in textbooks.
Hehehe I am even surprised that Nigeria has some wildlife. I assumed it was snakes and scorpions that was left. Soon Nigerians will eat the pythons left. Sai Buhari! Sai APC! Sai Tinubu! Thanks for taking Nigeria to the World's Capital of Poverty!
