So you mean to tell me that you didn't even hear the full story from one of the parties involved, not to talk of both parties, before you started making calls and calling for the pastor to step aside? That is disappointing coming from a supposed Man of God.

One thing I've noticed so far: Those who are truly open minded about the whole issue, those who do not want to support either party until they get the full story, have decided to remain quiet either for fear of media backlash and possible accusations of their own, or simply because they do not want to get involved.

I just shook my head and said wow, he is playing to the gallery because anything outside the narrative that has been presented on social media would earn him the title of "rape enabler" so he quickly lined up behind the narrative so as not to lose followers. I feel it is bad precedence not because I think Biodun is innocent, but because the narrative has been established and anyone that dares to question the narrative would be shot down like an aircraft in enemy territory. Like I said I will not take any sides until both parties have been thoroughly cross examined in a court of law, If I had the funds I would provide both parties with the best of legal counsels that can be found in Nigeria to ensure that a rapist does not go Scot free and that an innocent man is not sentenced unjustly. I will not be bullied in towing a path that sins against the very essence of my soul because I want to look cool. If Biodun is found guilty by a court of competent jurisdiction, I will be more than happy to see him go to jail, If he is found innocent I will watch to see the reaction of those that have allowed their emotions rule over their sense of reason and justice, especially Poju. But kiddos to Stanley Nwanbia, he has maintained a dignified neutrality that has irritated tyrants and perspective monopolists.

ND don't get me wrong Poju made some excellent points but he allowed himself to sound like the accused is as alleged. This is my issue with his position.

God bless you. The same people that cried after watching "When they see us" are the same people that are mobbing the pastor without any thought of due process. There are rules of engagement in cases like this for God sake, I have heard people say "it could be your sister, aunt or mother" and I tell them "it could also be your father, brother or uncle" rape is a terrible thing, so is defamation. Biodun should go to jail if found guilty, but if found innocent, Mrs Dakolo should face the music, but all these should not be done outside the use of professional cross examiners in a court of competent jurisdiction , any thing short of this would be injustice.

Do I think some thing happened between them? yes!, was it rape? I do not know and cannot tell until both parties have been cross examined in court, not on social media.

Do you know why Chadians, Nigeriens and other fulani's that cross to Nigeria first perfect their Hausa before making the cross. Hausa's are indigenous only to Nigeria but the fulani's are spread across west Africa yet Hausa is the more widely nigerian spoken language across the world, do you know why. BBC set up a radio station to reach the hausas and fulani's but broadcasts in Hausa do you know why, Buhari is fulani and speaks almost only Hausa yet communicates with his fulani brothers, do you know why? Remember that this started from an earlier statement I made, I want us to keep the perspective when you reply.

If you did history in your secondary school then you would have known that nobody teaches fulani history separately from Hausa history. Then we should speak well of Mobutu, Idi Amin and Osama for they are creations of another. In truth Kalu just like other politicians finished his people. The fight against corruption is a waste of time, what we need is structure, order and standardization of processes. When we do this anybody would be able to spot corruption from a million miles away and eliminate it.

There are no leaders in the south south. Even Onnoghen was not a leader. How many southerners did he mentor and rode with to judicial prominence. Other regions make sure there are worthy replacement for their side of the country and they do so ruthlessly, but southerners always wants to play the hypocritical grand Nigerian when he gets to power because he does not want to help his people and yet when they run into problems and get fingers burnt after their sojourn of Nigerianness they run to the same people that they refuse to help for succour. The Governors down south failed, the other leaders down south failed. The South is a mess, the other regions have been exploring gold and other natural resources keeping the proceeds while crude of the South south was made a national asset and no body was able to counter it apart from a few half hearted attempts by robbers and a few urchins that see themselves as freedom fighters. Southern Governors do not need the presidency to turn the South into dubai. Lagos has a sea port and another is being built in Lagos while Warri, Calabar and onne port are rendered useless. Even Kaduna had to build a fully functional dey sea port and yet the South south ports are comatose and nobody is able to speak about it. It is a shame that the South has been reduced to what it has become.

I am tired of hearing all this, dem tie the hands of Benue people for their back? Your state has security votes, send Benue indigenes on counter terrorism training and make them local vigilantes. Declare a private state on emergency that does not involve the security apparatus. Benue people can protect themselves, if attacks come and you are able to repel them make sure you are as ruthless as can be. Ortom is making me ashamed, protect you selves send you indigenes on training outside the country and in six months herds men will be history.

You have to put into consideration that some of them were raped or drugged and before they knew what was happening, it was too late... I once had a female colleague who's a single mother: her boyfriend drugged and slept with her on Valentine's day (back in the university) and before she knew it, she was pregnant and had to give birth to the child because she was scared of abortion(killing another life). Another case was that of a girl that was raped by armed robbers and her parents who were born again Christians told her to keep the pregnancy that followed...she gave birth to the child and handed him over to a childless couple...so not all single mothers were/are wayward(there are exceptions).

Let put sentiment apart and look at the case of Onnoghen holistically. What are the facts on ground?

1. The presidency was never comfortable with his emergence as CJN. The president refused to confirm his appointment. It was Osibanjo that sent Onnoghen name to the Senate when PMB was out of the country.

2. It was this same Onnoghen against all odds that gave PMB favourable ruling in one of the election Tribunals.

3. The media propaganda that Onneghen has Millions of dollars and several houses was proved to be false even at the CCT. Information available indicates that the total money that Onnoghen will forfeit to the FGN according to the CCT judgement is less than N50 Million.

4. The FGN hurriedly acted on a petition against the CJN at a record speed and suspended the CJN without first passing through the NJC as required by the constitution. It is of interest that the appeal court had ruled on two other cases concerning two other judges of the supreme court that only NJC had the jurisdiction to first investigate judicial officials.

5. It is of interest that Onnoghen eventually declared these accounts in subsequent asset declaration.

My take:

1. The Executive did not followed laid down constitutional process in the prosecution of the Onnoghen as he was a serving judicial officer as at the time he was accused of non declaration of asset.

2. Onnoghen should have saved the Judiciary this harassment by resigning on moral ground having admitted in writing that he forgot to declare his asset in 2009. The pattern of deposits into Onnoghen's account is questionable and unexpected from CJN

3. After Onnoghen, resignation, prominent SANs and Judicial Officers will then approach the appeal court and supreme court to get interpretations on the role played by the CCT and the executive.

Today you guys have both the knife and the yam and have established the sharing formula, no problem. We will work hard and one day it will be our turn to hold both yam and knife.

Now I understand "next level". The president has decided to tell Nigerians what they want to hear while he does what he wants to do.

All police officers that carry our these kind of acts should be locked up for life. I would have suggested capital punishment but my values are against it.

Buhari is not a great man Bro. His second advent has shown that he is a sectional, tribal and bigoted religious fundamentalist. Sincerely, this is how I see him. My perspective is not baseless, look at how he put shagari under house arrest and locked ekueme in kirikiri, how he called GEJ a theif without evidence and trial compared to how he defended abacha and Ganduje, how his appointment were skewed in favour of his people and when confronted stated that he can only work with people he trusts and later said he did it based on merit, thereby inferring that every other person that is not a northerner is unqualified. Buhari is not and cannot be a great guy, if you think he is, please point me to the great things he has done. He might be a great fulani and a great muslim, but he is not a great Nigerian, No! Obasanjor and GEJ are more worthy Nigerians than him inspite of their flaws.

FFK was with Tinubu/Buhari during yhe formation of APC. The dog wrote many things explainjng why Jonathan was wrong to be president. After the APC merger, Jonathan bought the guy like a slave. He went ahead to be their campaign spokesman and from no where he started demonizing Bahari and APC. What about the Islamization agenda of APC/Buhari FFK made so much noise about then...Well, he pocketed PDP's money and the court cleared him of the corruption charges agaunst him....Obasanjo himself said the boy is a dog and he has remained doggy ever after.

Everybody has a past, the most important thing is that majority of what they have said so far has turned out to be true. As long as they tell the truth I do not have issues with them. The president and his pastor vice are far worse than these men in my opinion.

Ghandi does not descriminate. Fayose once warned about an attack on the judiciary and in less than a week they came for the CJN, FFK warned about the militarization of elections long before hand and it did happen, same for Timi Frank. Just like every Nigerian they have their character flaws but you cannot take away the truth that they have contributed to our democracy. History will someday smile on their legacies.
