I'm using a little mp3 player that's not giving me the true quality my eyes deserves. What you need is an experience store to really check out the product you want to buy...you cant compare empirical evidence to reading internet specs or opinions |

emmanuelewumi: what is the value of the real estate which Tony used in securing the loan, what is the total loan granted by UBA and what is the loan given to Tony in relaion to the total loan.
I hope this loan will not become another exceptioanl item, I think CBN needs to approve loans given to board members which exceeds N1 billion.
Nothing stops Tony from approaching neutral banks like GTB, FBN, Zenith, Access etc for loans provided he can convince the boards of such banks.
I think the security used for that loan of over N20 billion need to be made public This are the kind of things jijo masters look at and laugh @ people advising to hold a stock for long term |

OANDO sold above N300 Same 2007
While SEPLAT traded N720 about 20months ago. So try as much as possible to balance the equation and dont be deceieved by those shouting gain gain gain everyday albeit one just died. This is the more reason I pity any long term investor in Nigeria... |

The foundation of BANKING is trust by the people, In Nigeria today, the populace hardly trust the current banking system talk less of mobile money......People talk as if the fundamental laws of economics, banking, physics or anything you can think of doesnt work in Nigeria but when you look thoroughly at it you just know the fundamental laws are just being broken hence failure. |

Agriculture › Re: Pls How Much Is A Basket Of Tomato In Your Area Or State? Lets Interact by maishai: 10:02am On Feb 23, 2016 |
DeLaRue: The challenge is that ground tomato is totally alien to most Nigerian housewives. So, unless you have a fair amount of resources to push this new product and convince people to buy, this is probably not a product most small scale Nairaland farmers can rush into.
Besides, in the Nigerian context, there is something about ground dry tomato that will leave me, and I suspect many others, wondering what else is inside that brown polythene bag other than tomato This is Nigeria. People adulterate everything. Nigerians can easily add some funny 'additives' to bulk up the weight.
At least with raw tomatoes, people see and know exactly what they are buying.
Not all ideas are easily transferable to Nigeria. That's not to say this cant work, but, hmmm....
I think this will only catch on if buyers are confident about the providence of the product. I concur with you..My experience with agriculture as a business has made me understand that it is better left in the hand of multinationals and big corporations while small farmers handle the specialist taste of consumers. |

igbobuigbo: But who is talking about producing yams here? A non illiterate should've known that in this thread we are not talking merely about Yam production but its Production, ''celebration'', ''owning it'', and documenting (aka the whole story) it as no other group has done, YET. Tell me whether Taraba and/or Benue have new yam festivals that are as world acclaimed as that of the Igbo (hence my use of ''political kings'' of yam), let alone documenting them.
Anyways, many Nigerians are illiterates (as exemplified by your post) hence the argument over a simply matter. Anyway, I hope you buy the book documenting it literate one |

I dont want to be @ risk of using excess fertilizer, they inhibit ur crop from uptake of microelement like zinc and calcium. Most market women reject cassava cultivated with fertilizers, they say they are big for nothing, they say it does not contain enough starch. |

Anenih::: GEJ gave me the money via Dasuki
Metuh::: GEJ gave me the money via Dasuki
....but jona is still insulting our intelligence by claiming no knowledge about the money and that he didn't award any contract when in fact this has nothing to do with contracts, but more about him stealing and sharing taxpayers money with his cronies..
How I wish this is happening in America. No way GEJ won't be in jail by now.. This attitude is what has kept us down, must we be wishing this is america, something tells me that either the law is not clear to personels of our legal system of the Nigerian constitution is a fraud |

2015 marked a terrible year for stocks and the most important lesson I learnt is that stock investment is not something you throw a huge chunk of money at. sometimes around march last year, i invested heavily in the petroleum sector 1st mobil and later Conoil, and i watched my investment value erode by almost 50%, I sold and reinvested thd proceeds in the banking sector mostly access bank and has seen the value erode again by almost 15% excluding trading charges.. If i had broken my original cash into say like 10 places and gradually invested in 10 months , probably wont be counting this loss |
