The more I play this nse, the more I believe there is hierrachy of wealth, someone out there is controlling how i make money, If not I cant explain why its only when I sell that I see more astronomical rise in a stock, I sold dangote sugar #10 on friday and its gunning for #14......Any way I am not tempted with my 60% profit locked.....

What investors want to see is a gradual reduction in debt and not a debt free company. A company with the size of FMN cannot practically stay out of some level of debt.
My suspicion is that they will be coming to the market in the nearest future to raise fresh capital in form of right issue after they might have succesefully pushed up the price on the exchange.
chai, i no pull trigger @ #28 last week, see free fall to #12.....

Fair result.Much improvement over last year. Major issue is the level of indebetdness. Over N190b in debt. Still working for the banks. Banks got N32b while shareholders got less than N3b A company to watch for a long play.
@ dis rate when do u think they will pay off this huge debt

The mention of stockwatch brings bck memories, i remember buying dat paper weekly while still in school, getting home on holidays i just rush to my broker to buy shares mostly insurance shares that he painted in good light, I could not sell most times during their high prices cos I was extremely far from Lagos as u need ur physical presence for any transaction, then the global financial crises came, men my problem was not the sale of shares but the Brokerage firm itself, this guys kept posting me till today, anytime i walk into their office, its either a client that came with thugs and policemen to collect their money or women crying their hearts out for their money......I dont want to mention the brokerage firm as their office is still open make i no put sand sand for person garri. For sanity checks pls make sure u make withdrawals from ur acct....I dont trust any brokerage firm

@emmanuelewumi. That means the stock is prone to serious price manipulation by the insiders that own 91%. Wow!! that's a shocker and that means Alh. Dangote runs his companies like a private company.
Going by d dividend last declared, dang cem should be trading around #90......Any way, i see dangote institutions as mini federal government

The Central Bank of Nigeria on Friday said it intervened in the crisis between Etisalat and a consortium of 13 Nigerian banks over a syndicated loan of about $1.2bn granted the telecom company to save over 4,000 jobs and stripping of the company’s assets. The CBN Spokesperson, Mr. Isaac Okorafor, said this in a statement on Friday. He said, “Although it should ordinarily not be the role of a regulator to decide how individual bad loans are resolved, the CBN believes that Etisalat is a systemically important telecommunications company with over 20 million subscribers that, if not well handled, may have negative implications for the banking system itself.” He further explained that the CBN and Nigerian Communications Commission had suspected that banks might go ahead in the usual way and downsize the company’s over 4,000 staff, adding that this was why they reached an agreement to intervene. He said both regulators implored the consortium of banks to re-assess its position in dealing with Etisalat
when did quantitative easing extend to the communnicatiin sector, I thought it ended in banks and insurance companies

I believed that 3 months quit notice from the northern youth to all Igbo living in the north, with the support of their elders and Kano lawmaker,
Couple with NigerDelter 3 months quit notice given to the northerns to vacate their region in response to the one that was given to the Igbo, are seriously disturbing the market.

This current development will discourage the foreign investors that just regain confidence in the NSEM, and were just coming back to the market.

The bull that was massively going on seem to be on break mode because of this development.

If these issue is not properly handled, I forsee a great disaster visiting the market in August/September this year.
Abeg I usher in the bears jare let fbnh go back to sub #3.

I noticed something this bullish era, the moment I take my profit from a stock, the way the stock rises in price just amazes me, bailed out of transcop @ 35% and the stock has returned close to 100%, bailed out of fbnh @ 50% and the stock returned more than 120%(bought 3:12), now I have bailed out of CCNN @ 35% everyday is a new high for this stock..............@ times I now feel that stocks that are resistant to price change in my portfolio are just waiting for me to sell to start moving up

Pls advice, I got from the news yesterday night that from september 2017 most shareholders not registered with cscs or e-dividend will have to forfeit their shares
I have so many share certificates, most were bought for me by family members and are usually in their minimum units but when you look at the process for dematerilization and edividend registeration,It is really not worth it with all the affidavict, indemnity and fuel that u waste running about....Is there no way to reduce the cost of all this paper work especially for those that purchased minimum units back then.....This day I just feel it would have been better for my popsi to have bought beer for his guys instead of buying stock back then....Imagine, I still get Afribank, intercontinental, transcorp, abc certificate

Conversion of this car was not done here in Nigeria. As you can see, it's hard to tell. But yes it's converted... Job properly done.
The car is up to 400k less than what's obtainable in the market for a 2003 C class.
Test drive is free. Purchase upon satisfaction (you will be satisfied with the performance cool).
A well converted car is as good as a straight left hand drive.
hmmm, do u still want to do businezz on this car,
