Oh, with his photographer? |
Normalization. What’s good for Adamu should be okay for Kate. Rubbish. |
A lot of Nigerian people are broken relationship wise. So much distrust, anger, sustained incest, unspeakable agony. Work place sexual exploitation. Teacher student. Uncle issue, just so much. If you find a good one, stay there, if not keep looking. But a lot are damaged though. All the best! |
Living your own life. No pressure. Get education, experience and exposure. You have a lifetime to improve. All the best!!! |
My late Dad died reasonably established in the Nigerian context. Before he died, he had to rebuild his favorite home after a sad fire incident. He ensured everything worked for his new age and life( his room was away from the road and noises, bigger, closer to his home office, just a door as he then had arthritis, more sockets because of new devices, etc.) The Man died before the house was completed (just painting left) and was buried at the Backyard. Long and short, life is fickle and our best plans are subject to factors beyond us. My lesson at age 17(21 years back)... |
One person’s ugly is another’s beauty. Another’s Monster is another’s saint. Let’s kindly stop assuming people should be as we expect. Ask for a discerning spirit to decipher what seemingly lies behind the “face” and if it works all good, otherwise, retreat. A lot of people who seem to fall for so called monsters saw signs and choose to look away in hopes it changes. Love your monster. As humans, we are capable of both good and evil and it’s up to the card dealt mostly. |
Gospel Advice: You both too young for this. Don’t do it. Street Advice: No be only you be bad guy. Spiritual Advice: it could destroy your life Financial Advise: why five star hotel? You have $300 to waste for room? Personal advise: She wouldn’t disrespect you if you didn’t, but you’ll regret it some way. |
Heartbreak, physical strength, the way economy works, and how to gain favor from people. Anything else, an exception. |
Mandela27:When you’re a quality man, you don’t need luck. |
It’s no news the guy is an idiot who chooses to see things like a toddler. But to read comments from Nigerians who are born with adult brains disturbs me alot. The guy who has reduced your chances of having a better life in America among many other restrictions is whom you support? Well, I guess we have to agree there are trumps everywhere. |
Sometimes, you have to be a goat to achieve your goals. No sentiments, anger, resentment, self pity, nothing of such, but pure focus on the goal...Drink from the tap. |
If only all cases for and against Nigeria were settled in UK courts, we might not be here. |
There are three major areas to focus in learning for assessment. 1. Knowledge: where you absorb concepts and ideas relevant to area of study; The first class(FC) will not only get an understanding of what’s required but go an extra length to see what’s outside the learning material. Also, memory techniques help here. When tested on knowledge, you might have to define, explain, describe, etc. a FC will go extra here for additional marks well above the median. 2. Assimilation: here, it’s not enough one understands the concepts but you can appreciate the interrelationships between concepts and how they form part of the whole. A FC will demonstrate how chapter 1 relates to chapter 4 to answer a question from chapter 7. This is where the bulk is. Lastly, 3. Application: after the first two, one has to show how what’s learnt is applied to real life situations. And here is where the bulk lies. A FC will show the potential impacts of one factor on a series of other factors, whilst keeping answers and responses relevant to the issue on hand. Other soft areas are style of communication particularly, choice of words (industry speak), confidence, the lucidity of thought and how one arranges arguments( intro-body-conclusion), etc. It’s also a plus if you know what you assessor likes to see. Here are some of my thoughts. |
“That we are about to get married” So doesn’t rule out the fact that they might later get married. |
She cheated on her ex for money, so she did prostitution. You took her from her ex cos you had more money. She could sleep with her ex if there was a chance. And you’re asking for advise? Since this is what you want to hear, keep her, she only made a small mistake. Forgive her, she’ll not do it again. It’s the devil. One day sha, when your story has DNA, children, wicked, wife, etc in the headline, just know it was the devil also. |
OcVoice:Stating the fact on behalf of a nation. Well done brother. |
You see now, if all our cows weren’t roaming around the country, we could milk them for national consumption and probably export. The herders are loosing potential revenue, and the country foreign exchange. Lose lose, because some don’t deem right to update methods. |
It’s a bad feeling to have a loved one be a class A substance user. It’s a good thing you want to help. As earlier mentioned, he’ll need rehabilitation of at least 3 months and it’s not cheap. You can try Yaba which I think is about 150k a month. Other private ones are from 250-500k per month. Unfortunately, patients still relapse after first or even second treatment. Some go willingly others are kidnapped. Whichever is best you can tell. But can’t say which works best. I was in rehab through 2019 and I learnt how addictive crack/meth are from other patients as I was in for other substance. He’ll need all the love and care your family can provide cos it’s no easy task for him and even the family. I wish you all the best. |
Smartini:Firstly, it’s praises to God and not to any man. It’s sad some people suffered losses and I pray they get consoled and restored as applicable. The point here is the same probability you observed, which was high for the structure to be engulfed yet didn’t. In all, Glory to our God. 1 Thess 5:18 Remain blessed brethren. |
oduademonest:CHEAP DATA syndrome |
Insensitive position. Ashawo no be work but na person pikin... |
Any issue which confronts a woman of her dignity is bad. It’s sad some economically disadvantaged ladies have been preyed upon. They are victims and their situations and shouldn’t be further eroded for pleasure. My thoughts go to them and I pray a Nigeria we dream of fights for the weak someday soon. |
crestedaguiyi:What has the presidency earned us as a people? Nothing!!! Whether it’s arewa, oduduwa or ohaneze at the head it’s still same NigeriaNess. |
dumo1:Pay no mind to these subhumans who underrate the impact of our Igbo families in socio economic development and national integration. I’m an Egba man and will always root for the Igbo mans plight in Nigeria. Which sector of the Economy hasn’t an Igbo man impacted positively? None! My brother, just enjoy your hero and nkowobi in peace. Even Sanwoolu supports you... |
While this is worth celebrating, it’s a development ahead of its time. Thieves and area boys still operate and conductors still shouting OJOTA!!! Would have thought a right thinking government would commit the cost of a terminal for socioeconomic development in the local area. Well, what does a potential Canadian immigrant know. Next... |
Till one is on such a flight, you never know how much you can call upon God. Thanks to the Almighty for a good ending. |
As sitting Prime Minister, Tony Blair honored an invitation from Scotland Yard. So Oga Ade, kini big deal? |
Geometric growth. Lord do more here for your Kingdom’s propagation through me. Amen |
For a leader to complain about “his” leadership is a problem. It’s sad we have reached this low. Economic disadvantages have caused Nigerians to beg for their entitlements. Followers are just as guilty as leaders. We get what we deserve at best. |
Techno and infinix struggled at start, now they’re well accepted. Innoson might just hack the model. |
Dear Men, Please choose wisely, a petty one is a bad choice. Regards, |
