Is there anyone on this forum who sells and installs in Abuja, Nigeria?

I'm shopping for a 90" dish plus hardware.

Thanks

Car Talk / Re: How Useful AreCar Navigation Systems On Nigerian Roads? by makin(m): 9:22am On Jan 06, 2010
I use Nokia maps application on my E71, and it works very fine.
I was quite impressed with it recently as I used it to 90% accuracy in Abeokuta, then Calabar.
Its free one year license on E71 (that includes turn by turn navigation), if bought from an authorized dealer.

Tampico and lawyerchap are in here already!!! This might turn out to be fun after all, BBA III left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I'm thinking this is just a long winding way to say I did not have time for a review or to write my usually detailed reports.
Haba, we're still on the same page after like 4 days ! Even Tampico sef don bone the forum.

You're forgiven though.

Bros, the thing worry me o! I log on only to find out that grandmaster LC don bone, same for tampico even beamer no gree post. I was beginning to wonder if they've moved to another forum secretly.
Interesting times in house though, would give an arm to watch the nominations show tonight, considering Lagos traffic these days, I'm sure gonna miss it.
TV/Movies / Re: Big Brother Africa III (3): Official Thread by makin(m): 10:47pm On Sep 10, 2008
I thought i read somewhere on the thread that Latoya would be the 1st to go, that won't happen with Tawana being nominated.
Not only is she old, bald and confrontational shes also a bore.
Whatever happened to good looking and well endowed people(a la "Warona"wink in Botswana?
Last year it was Justice, and now this "Gorimapa"!!!

I don't think he should keep the lawyer part of it, He's more of a shrink considering his last post.

Why did KB let the evictee know who put them up for eviction, if they were going back to the house

Nice writeup but you sure missed out on the last nights party.
Mimi must have once worked the poles at "Y not" or somewhere more sleazy.

@beamer
Uti was 200% right, wagering 100% twice consecutively borders on sheer arrogance and collective stupidity.
I'm sure the house mates have seen previous editions of big brother, they should have been much more cautious in staking their bets.
Lets see how it plays out, with meagre resources for next week and cabin fever starting to develop, an interesting week ensues.
TV/Movies / Re: Big Brother Africa III (3): Official Thread by makin(m): 9:51pm On Sep 04, 2008
@LC
I think Uti has taken the "Guyish"swagger too far, and he probably doesn't know how to stop it.
He's gonna get burned at some point, cause just like the incident with Lucille someone would be offended, and then he would definitely be on his (Uti) back foot.

I thought I was alone in not liking the colour combo, but as usual it would grow on all avid watchers, and by next week we would be used to it, Mamus, you were about to go blind, I went blind. cheesy

"Oh Super Eagles
Your wings have been so feeble
I cannot bear your fumbling
All week you have been stumbling

Martins? legs have been heavy
Kanu is an old Betty
Utaka is a slowie
The Eagles need a goalie

Your midfield is in shambles
The attack is a fumble
Today your flight is scheduled
In Ghana you were humbled

What can you do with Squirrels?
They will all hide in barrels
Where eagles are endangered
And elephants get angered
To stamp on all the Eagles
Till all that's left are squiggles

Berti Vogts should be fired
Another coach be hired
In any case a local
We?re sick of foreign jackals

The NFA should be sacked
Since they have always slacked
And looked after their egos
At the expense of our eagles

South Africa is coming
World football's biggest showing
Two years and 5 months away
To put our demons at bay
And find a new number ten
See you in twenty ten!"

Please write it in French! But you can be rest assured we might not have heard about it but the issue would have been settled, considering the megamillions MNET made on the show, there has to be part 3!

lawyerchap:

Given the lack of a verifiable source for this piece of information, I think it's a fabrication but it could lead to the governor actually doing something along those lines if he gets to hear this rumour. The power of suggestion.
Given the wasteful and almost nonsensical nature of our politicians, especially those from 9ja delta, don't doubt it, that same Delta State has a political big wig who celebrated his first Billion with 2 days of partying, i wasn't told unfortunately (or fortunately as u might view it) i was staying in his Guest house as at then (circa 2005).

@salsera
I'm not lost o! i can only read the forum on my phone, my Ogas would frown if i dare to access nairaland.com, we only have limited internet connection and its for transfering data from this village to the HQ.
@tampico
Happy Birthday, I know you would not be angry that i MIAed its occupational hazard.
Anyways, I'd be in by tuesday, Hopefully and Prayerfully.
@all

Hey mi peeps,
Believe me, the whole Richie, Tati and Ofu trisome reminds me of the movie ''wild things''. Anyways, i think its only in 9ja that much would be made out of it, There were placards of Ofu and Richie all over the place yesterday, but (hopefully not disappointing the fans) the show wasn't much of a show, i had a nicer time at Montecasino watching 1st half of Liverpool vs Arsenal.
I would sure have enjoyed the TV version more.
As for the Moles, they are wack, they can't even remember their stories, they keep contradicting each other. Ofu is smart, its was as if she envisaged moles coming in. cheesy

Perhaps what we admire abouf Ofu is her country of origin? wink
Her country of origin got her noticed. Her participation so far is commendable, why not check out what we thought of Bayo, the erstwhile Nigerian hm!

@jejelolatu
well said about Richard, I for one never liked him but know well that a lot of females are routing for him,
If i were you sha, i'd be careful about saying much concerning Ofunneka, She is turning out to be an enigma,She has shown characters of human personality and temperament (as classified by Tim Lahaye) 1st week, she was phlegm, then melancholic. when she became the head of house she was a choleric, By the Afrodisia week she was quite sanguine. Her acts have been well planned and her ability to adapt and change strategy would be admired by any sane person.

TEE ZERO:

Can you imagine guys, Code's girlfriend is 20 weeks pregnant. Yet, he has been accusing Richard of infidelity. And, he had been pushing Maureen to the extremes, wanting to 'bump' her. I hope he gets out of the house tonight.
He must be the biggest fake of them all, then.
He has fooled all of Africa for so long.

Its a game, the guy has got needs
@kaysmith
YOu don lose your salary
TV/Movies / Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by makin(m): 2:58pm On Oct 20, 2007
@LC
I won't count on Maureen being smart, she is juvenile and vengeful, and when code leaves, she would act it out, and you can be sure who her villian would be.
She acted it out with Bertha, and with little i have seen of her today, she would nominate Ofu - without much thought or remorse.

speaking of BB house romance, i have always wondered what happened betwwen Gae and Abby (BBA1 housemates and famous lovers) i culled this from a website
"Gae and Abby ended their relaionship in April 2004. She could not get anything to do in Uganda . She hooked up a rich Tanzania Hotel Guru, sired a son and now runs one of his Hotels in Dar-er-Salaam. She too has a lifestyle show on a Regional Television, EA TV.

Gae is the host of Studio 53, Radio DJ with the most popular Radio Station in Kampala, Face of Crane BANK, endorsements with MTN Uganda, Coca-Cola East Africa, National Insurance Corporation, and others ,

since when did sharing and caring become the same thing! I don't care about tommyex, so not sharing!
@tommyex
I have noticed your encroachment, please desist from going further, i'm worse than Richie when it comes to being jealous, to affirm your suspicions I'm into kick-boxing, not just boxing alone.

You won't believe how much Ofunneka is detested in SA, and it seems they are resigned to her winning though !

Which one be "arrant insult"?
whether he invited Ofunneka or not, the fact was she ended up beside him on HIS bed. In house with six guys, he had 2 babes tucked in, and an almost 1, out of available 6. After being locked in a house for over 70 days and with his fish brain, i wonder why he should not think he is Gods gift to women.
