![]() Boy, was his comment necessary, though? You can't separate Nigerian politicians from politics of trivialities. They will say anything stupid just to hog the limelight. Trifling things become important in the eyes of trivial men. Get close to our politicians and see/hear the silly, laughable, mundane or even stupid things they throw up and you would understand why we are here. Meanwhile, y'all Nairaland mods gotta get your acts together. Your hands are always itching to ban or hide comments. Y'all are too presumptuous for your own good. Took my time to type this only to find that the comment I was modifying had already been hidden. Had to retype it all over. At least give it some time to see if the comments will be modified or not before you proceed to hide. That's not nice. |
His description of Buhari's government is apt. However, I do not share his other opinions. |
FFK sure knows how to warm his way deep into IPOB hearts. I wish the love were sincere. LOL. |
KevinDein:Hehe. Normal thing. I'm sure you missed her out by an oversight. Thanks, blaad. |
ephi123:Yeah, Jeremiah Gyang is Berom. |
KevinDein:Oga me, e be like say you even know them pass me. But make I try. Beni Lar - Politician Dorcas Bentu - Musician Susan Pwajok - Actress - known for television series like The Johnsons and Desperate Housewives Africa (See me dey use small girl brag ) |
Anything that has to do with individual achievements, Anambra will always come first. No contest here. |
alBHAGDADI:Very backward. A religion that's associated with almost every form of barbarism on earth isn't one a sane person would want to practice. |
Nigeria is a comedy central. ![]() Sule Lamido: “Before the election, I will make every one of you swear with his life to protect our cause. No matter what, I will not listen to you for complaining. All I want is to come for your bail in the police station breaking another person’s head or you fought someone because the administration belongs to mad people,” PMB: “If what happened in 2011 (alleged rigging) should again happen in 2015, by the grace of God, the dog and the baboon would all be soaked in blood." Now tell me who between the two should be in jail. The irony is, one is in jail while the other is the President If there's any justice left in this country, Buhari should be Cooling his ass off in jail. Because he said worse. Like Buhari, Sule is only trying to silly-talk his way to the presidency, since that seems to work in Nigeria. Sule Lamido sef. ![]() |

Leiman100:Don't you mean Hausa/Fulani settlers? Don't worry, when push comes to shove, your land grabbing brothers will be sent back to your sharia states. You think you can belong to a place just because you say you do? Read this slowly: your people are settlers in the middle belt and will remain so. People are wiser now. The middle belt's hospitality has become their greatest undoing. This, we shall correct. We don't harbor blood thirsty people amidst us! |
odduduwa:I know that, sir. |
You this OP are gradually confirming my suspicions about you. You're an extremist who wouldn't mind setting this country on fire because of your Buhari. You adopt extremist views and commit horrendous acts of defending the Hausa/Fulani supremacists worldview, and now this? You might as well go ahead and tell us who poisoned him? ![]() And for the record, that "I belong to everybody, and I belong to nobody" phrase is the greatest lie ever told in the history of Nigerian politics. |
bejeiodus:You're welcome. |
For a religion that executes 'atheists' for insulting a certain prophet Mohammad, I'd convert too. Because it's shameful that such barbaric practices are still in effect in the 21st century. I will not make the mistake of blanketing all Muslims. To say that Islam is a religion of terrorists is to be disingenuous or ignorant. But personally, I do not want to be associated with some of the barbarism the religion encourages. And before you attack, my grandpa is a Muslim, I have Muslim uncles and cousins. My family is the most tolerant I know of, but honestly, something has to be done about Islamic practices. |
bejeiodus:Ibrahim Mantu is an indigenous Muslim from Mangu. He had the luck of coming at a time when religion was a non-issue. There was that lack of mutual suspicion at the time. People voted for him due to his charm and 'charisma' then. Had religion been factored in, he would have considered himself lucky to garner up to 8% votes in the Plateau Central Senatorial Zone, which happens to be my zone. |
bejeiodus:I pray the same. The love Jos has for its own is amazing. From the state government right down to the masses, everyone supported and voted massively for him. The people here don't have a problem with a Christian settler vying for an elective post. Although this hasn't happened before. Everyone is first looked at as a Jos person before anything else. Although they don't tolerate the Hausa/Fulani Muslims that much. |
Young03:Those ones tear eye gahn. Dem no dey take eye see pesin property. Their eyes go dey chuck. ![]() |
Young03:Lol. Life outside Jtown isn't the same bro. Where be Bside? Benin? |

eleojo23:No doubt. Buhari is going, this isn't even a question of if. The suffering has reached such crushing heights that Obj looks like the best we ever had in a long while. Personally, I never liked Buhari and never will. Although I wish him success because that will mean the success of Nigeria as well. Can't wait to see the back of him. |
gberra:And you too. |
gberra:True talk. The only way is education. Educational orientation influences the level of individuals' political awareness and participation. The few of them who recognise that the leaders are raping them in daylight cannot do much about it because a lack of education means that their reach and ability to influence members of the public is limited. That is left to the religious heads, who are also tools in the hands of the politicians who build the mosques they oversee. There's a need to awaken their awareness for equal educational opportunity. That way, they can pose a challenge for the children of the rich who have been equipped to forge ahead and rule over them. Political education on the part of the electorate will help them make informed decisions and make a case for on-ground rulership. Also, they must be taught to separate religion from politics. A lot of people may not be aware, but this has been one of the chief causes of the lack of development and rising poverty rates bedeviling the North. |

BlowBack:No comments on that. I haven't been to or lived in Osun before. So I can't confirm or deny your claim. |
