Slikbae: I support the avengers. Anyone who doesn't understand the plight of the Niger Deltans is a devil's incarnate. Try working and let someone take the greater percentage of your salary, giving you only a meagre 13% and when you quarry him, he says what have you been doing with the 13% I've been giving you all these years.
If you can't do that., then hush it and don't condemn what you don't know.
True Federalism is the way. I used to have a great deal of respect for your intellect. For whatever reason you have chosen to play partisan and stoop so low beneath your own standards, it's not worth it at all. There's a whole lot involved, but you have decided to tow the uni-directional path. It's really pathetic! |

Ikwokrikwo: We can now see why the north doesn't want to let go of Niger delta oil, even their so called agriculture is HEAVILY dependent on oil money.
Building and maintenance of irrigation dams - oil money. Provision of subsidised fertilizers - oil money. Provision of machineries - oil money. Distribution of improved seedlings - oil money. Financial grants and loans to farmers - oil money.
The north will just be another Senegal or Niger republic without oil money to sustain its agriculture Warped mind! |

This is a lie from the pit of hell! Nothing of the sort ever happened. Governors, who should be upholders of truth and justice will never make such preposterous demands. Like, tf!! It's funny how people who should have known better are arguing the toss, for what exactly? This must be a case of any port in a storm. How these mediocre people ended up becoming "leaders" is a mystery. Makes one wonder the wanton corruption that must have been swept away in their various states. It beats me how common sense eludes people with wealth and experience. |

Disfiguring a human being in this manner is barbaric, regardless of the offence committed.
How does the act change the fact her husband is the same old randy man? Will he not move on to another? How many more lives will she waste out of jealousy?
The act she could go the distance to hurt another human this badly is enough reason to send her packing.

bigboss80s: The government seems to be using a carrot and stick approach. In the end, the only solution is dialogue. The problem is that right now these people are asking for the impossible ie their own republic and the release of Nnamdi Kanu. The government must handle this one carefully since it brought this upon itself. They should have maintained the status quo since they know that we don't have the capability to take on the militants. You talked sense on the one hand. @ emboldened, how is it the fault of the government that a few disgruntled and misguided miscreants decided to take up arms against the state? These are people without foresight of any sort erroneously parading themselves as champions of the very same place they are destroying. Has the light outage not affected everyone at the lower rung of things equally? Does the Aso Rock look even a bit darkened owing to this? Who bears the brunt when all is said and done? Violence has never been a good resort and will never be. Until we teach the people around us this one basic principle, we'll keep running in the same old cycles--destroy to rebuild! Monies that should have been put into other use will end up going into repairs. How do you move forward with such mentality? |

I feel for them! Well, tackling a major clean-up isn't child's play. You're careful not to leave behind any rot, lest the stink hits everybody else soon after. PMB is taking the fall for something that's occurred through no direct fault of his. The economy actually started nosediving since GEJ's regime. That said, for me, I wanted a change from the usual wastefulness of GEJ and cohorts in the face of dwindling Foreign Exchange reserves and crude prices. PMB ticked all the boxes and still does. In perilous times as these, there's none better than a frugal and pragmatic leader! Nigeria would have spiralled out of control were GEJ still in power. I doubt they would have had any gadgets left to type the bullshit with! |

If not, oga you are just "fantastically corrupt". It's their tenure, let them prosecute whoever they like based on their own definition of corruption. When you get there, you can redefine corruption and prosecute all those people you mentioned. You can simple as declare that being in the APC between so so and so period is corruption.
