@malvisguy212, "All flying insects that walk on all fours...." what does the above means?
how many times will I say this ? what does the Septuagint manuscript say ? The other translator only find the closets meaning of what the Septuagint translated. Why not proved your claims using the Septuagint translation ?
Christianity Etc › Re: The Four-legged Flying Insect Bible(leviticus 11:20-23). by malvisguy212: 9:17am On Dec 24, 2015

@malvisguy212, the verse starts with "All flying insects that walk on all fours...." and i ask you, do reptiles which you claimed the verse was exactly talking about, fly?
see were you got it all wrong, I do not say the verse is specifically talking about reptile only, maby I should repeat myself again:

I provide for you the Septuagint translation ("Things which fly on wings "/"winged creatures". You know why ? Because All the new modern translation translated it based on the understanding of English so it will be impossible to know the EXACT meaning of the Hebrew word. The septuagint gave the original HEBREW MEANING which is "SHERETS'.

Alright!! sherets literally means :
1) teeming or swarming things, creepers, swarmers
1a) of insects, animals, small reptiles,
quadrupeds.

The translators try to find the closet meaning of the word . If you look at the
original in this case, it does NOT specify
"insects" only, although insects are
certainly part of the consideration.

And another thing to look into is that God is given the isrealite what to eat and not to eat, could eat, and what they could not eat.In Hebrew the words used by God gave them a clear picture of which "flying creatures" they could eat. It was not a word which was specifically talking about insects.

And i ask you again, 1.why were grasshopper, locust, katydid mentioned among the "sherets"......2.would all the translators make the same error by translating sherets as insects? no?........3.do reptiles fly and hop? no?...... hey i'm not like you that copy long epistles from islamophobic sites, I did everything myself.
that why I say go and read my first post again, sherets including ALL kind of mammals .insects and crawling animals. The Septuagint says.
"έπετα τών πετεινών" ("Things which fly
on wings"/"winged creatures"wink

If we take a close look at the text, it seems to differentiate between the feet and the lags, read it once more;

Leviticus 11:21
'Yet these you may eat among all the
winged insects [sherets] which walk
on all fours: those which have ABOVE
THEIR FEET JOINTED LEGS with which to
jump on the earth.

All the winged insects "sherets" this include all the crawling mammals of every kind. Then the next part say " those which have ABOVE THEIR FEET JOINTED LEGS with which to jump on the earth" this part seem to talk about the insects you are reffering. the legs being
the hind legs with which it uses to leap
as the text mentions. Therefore, if we
add the two hind legs with the four front feet voila we have six feet/legs and problem solved.

And also, Moses speak to the people based on their understanding of words, The term sherets was never intended as a biological classification system, to say sherets refers to insects ONLY is soo wrong.

Jesus is a very important figure in Islam.
Muslims believe, Jesus is just a prophet,
He was merely a prophet, a prophet
whose second coming will bring about
Allah’s judgement on the human race.

In the fourth book of the Quran, al-Nisa
(or “The Women”), we are told that Jesus
never died on the cross. Instead, Allah is a gifted trickster. Behold:

Quran 4:157 And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” And they did not kill him, nor did
they crucify him;but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.
Quran 4:158 Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in
Might and Wise.

No reason were given why Jesus was snatch from death. Allah couldn’t wait a few more days for Jesus to be executed. He needed Jesus in heaven right away. But he also needed Jesus to be executed. The solution? Snatch Jesus
from earth right now and pick someone else to wear Jesus’ face long enough to fool the executioners and the Jews.

In completing this absurd trick, Allah
must’ve known the following:

The crucifixion of Jesus would be used to create Christianity, the largest religion
the world has ever known–a rival religion, mind you. So it was all a ruse to
trick people into following the LARGEST
religion. Unfortunately for these cursed
Christian souls, Allah waited another 600 years before bothering to mention that the Divine Jesus myth in the bible was all a lie.

Those who died Prior to the coming of muhammed to clear this out , who's gonna take the blame for their unbelief ? Allah for tricking the Jews or satan ?

really refers to crawling or swimming
creatures that tend to swarm together. In liviticus the EXACLY Hebrew word is use for reptile ( sherets ). Paste the website you copy the op from.
Islam › Re: Did Muhammed Curse Muslims? by malvisguy212(op): 6:42am On Dec 24, 2015
malvisguy212:
Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 8, Number 427: Narrated ‘Aisha and ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abbas: When the last moment of the life of Allah’s Apostle came he started putting his ‘Khamisa’ on his face and when he felt hot and short of breath he took it off his face and said , “May Allah CURSE the Jews and Christians for THEY BUILT THE PLACES OF WORSHIP AT THE GRAVES OF THEIR PROPHET .” even in his dying breath, uttered curses. Please recall Muhammad’s reason for cursing the Jews and the Christians. He said, “FOR THEY BUILT THE PLACES OF WORSHIP AT THE GRAVES OF THEIR PROPHET .” We will now address this accusation of Muhammad. We will look at the facts recorded in the Bible. Moses and Jesus ,they are very important to the Jews, Moses to Judaism and Jesus to Christianity. As stated in Deuteronomy 34:5-6, God himself buried Moses to an undisclosed place and to Jesus,God removed His body. committing. Meaning it prevented both christians and Jews from being enticed to make pilgrimages or pay homage to such sites. It protected them from creature- worship. In contrast, what did the Muslims do with Muhammad’s tomb after his death? Muslims built a mosque on his tomb. His grave became a place for Muslim pilgrims to visit in Medina annually. The Prophet’s tomb at Medina is, after Mecca, the site most venerated by Muslims. It is visited with reverence in the hearts of the faithful. Ironically, these Muslims fell into the very class of people, upon whom Muhammad beseeched Allah’s curse. Unlike Jehovah, Allah did not have the wisdom or the insight to prevent the causes that could lead to creature- worship among his worshippers. The 12th century work by Qadi Iyad is highly accepted throughout the Muslim world. Al-Qadi Iyadibn Musa al-Yahsubi (1083 C.E.-1149 C.E.) wrote in his book Al-Shifa’: “Visiting his grave is part of the Sunna and is both excellent and desirable. Ibn `Umar said that the Prophet said, ‘My shafa’at (intercession on the Day of Qiyamah) is Waajib (incumbent upon me to intercede) FOR THE ONE WHO VISIT MY GRAVE.’”

“‘All flying insects that walk on all fours are to be regarded as unclean by you. There are, however, some flying insects that walk on all fours that you may eat: those that have jointed legs for hopping on the ground. Of these you may eat any kind of locust, katydid, cricket or grasshopper. But all other flying insects that have four legs you are to regard as unclean. this bible verse is making us understand that insects has 4 legs, and even specified some of them being, grasshopper, locust, cricket and katydid. atleast everyone has seen a grasshopper and we all know its 6legged, to the christian folks, do you believe that insects(grasshopper) is 4legged?
the Hebrew word translated insects is " sherets" the word does not imply insects only, The word
really refers to crawling or swimming
creatures that tend to swarm together.
For example, in Genesis, sherets refers to swarming sea creatures,in the flood account (Genesis 7) sherets refers to rodents, and in Leviticus, sherets
refers to crustaceans, insects, rodents, and reptiles. What is common in this group of crustaceans, insects, rodents, and reptiles is that they all crawl on "all four" legs. Some from this group actually have more than four legs.

Now pay close looks at liviticus 11:21 which actually say this insects has six legs:

Leviticus 11:21
'Yet these you may eat among all the
winged insects [sherets] which walk
on all fours: those which have ABOVE THEIR FEET JOINTED LEGS
with which to
jump on the earth.

The key part of the verse is the phrase
"above their feet jointed legs." The
Hebrew uses two different words to
describe the "feet" ( regel) and
"legs" (kera). What the verse says is that
these insects walk on four "feet" (their
anterior four short legs), with an
additional two "legs" that are used for
jumping. Therefore, all six appendages
are described.

Christianity Etc › Re: Is Unbelief In God A Sin? by malvisguy212: 7:31am On Dec 23, 2015
sonOfLucifer:
Show me how.
the root of ALL sin is unbelief, unbelief manifest itself in many kind of sin such as fearfulness ,pride ,greed ecetra .

FEARFULNESS: in judges1:19. The isrealite had God on their side but the cannanite had thousands of iron Chariots. The isrealite allowed fear to prevail over there faith in God.

PRIDE:
Pride is unbelief pure and simple. We
seek to lift ourselves up before others
because we do not believe that God can
or will lift us up.

GREED: a teacher may shere toy to his little children, the toy mean nothing to him, what is important is how this little ones will react , we often seen one little child out of greed take the toy of his friend, why ? Because he knows if he request for the teacher to give him one more toy, the teacher will refused, this create UNBELIEF.

In this world, things are of little significance. God can give them in
abundance or take them away if it is for
our good. Everything is controlled by
God. When we realize this all-important
fact it will change the way we live. We
often hear someone say, “I got a job!” The truth is that none of us ever got jobs in our lives.Listen to what the Bible says in Psalm 75:6-7: “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south but God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another” . Since God is in control of our lives, we can relax and expect him to give us what we need in the way of jobs, money and whatever else.

1 Tim. 6:6-8
“But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that”

Sorry, who are the 'they'? There are other missionaries that targeted places with similar zeal= AdoniramJudson-India; William Carey-India; Hudson Taylor-China; Jim Elliott-Aucas Indians in America etc The two last mentioned were willing to die in the attempt and the last one and his team were speared to death! CT Studd-Asia and Africa (this one was wealthy but he received God's call, disposed off his wealth and headed out as a missionary) This verily does not sound like folks looking for wealth!!!

In summary, they did not obey meaning we cannot judge missionaries from an evil king's letter. Bring up a similar letter from the Missions board that sent out the names I have mentioned and others then I will reason with your intention!

My reason for asking was to show you that just as we cannot judge the midwives using a cruel edict, likewise we cannot judge missionaries using an evil king's letter!!!

Long before the missionaries, the Bible already spoke of false prophets in the last days. Kindly show us ONE of the missionaries that did the ones you referred to.

Every true minister always has their false accusers (even Jesus was accused falsely). Unfortunately, the source you settled for is silent about his efforts, his charity, how that his wife died due to the overwork in helping the natives there, how that he was a very wealthy businessman in America before the call came and how his company were reluctant to release him etc Kindly endeavour to be thorough.

Who told you the highlighted? (It is a LIE)

And you said you wanted to be fair? In a court, evidences (not just one) will be needed for these claims. How much more when the only evidence you have is a letter from a king reputed to be evil!

You will have to prove this with sufficient evidences.Start with the first set Matthew (Ethiopia) and Simon Zelotes(Mauritania), disciples of Christ.

What grievous accusations from a 'fair' op!!! Kindly read about his life.

For somebody with such terrible antecedents, using his letter to malign the missionaries is libelous! You obviously think all white men that came to Africa were Christians/Missionaries? We had explorers who were nothing more than that!

Seriously, that you had next-to-NO idea about these missionaries in general and their labours exposes how 'fair' you meant to be when you started!!!
bless you my good friend.

The answer is INCARNATION.
That's why Angels were COMMANDED to worship him at His birth as per Hebrews 1.
That's why John did somersault before he was even born at the mere fact of being near my Lord and My God

Don't thank me for educating you, my reward is in heaven for exorcising/fumigating ignorance and naivety
don't mind them bro, if the heavenly host should rejoice in the birth of Jesus, how much more we ? Is it wrong to say thank you God for sending your son to die for us ? Will you wait until God told you to make merry and celebrate the Goodness of God ? Read the bible. Very well, the isrealite, David , solomon and soo many mighty men celebrate God goodness PERSONALLY.

2 Chronicles 7:10
And on the three and twentieth day of
the seventh month he sent the people
away into their tents, GLAD AND MERRY IN THE HEART FOR THE GOODNESS THAT LORD HAD SHEWED unto David, and to
Solomon, and to Israel his people.

Is it a sin for David and his household to make merry and rejoice for what God has done ? Is this not what Christmas is ALL ABOUT ?
