1. The first list has restrictions on younger men for military campaigns. The second list includes every able bodied individual, in the case of a defense or war
against Jerusalem. Or perhaps it's due to the unofficial and incomplete nature of the census (1 Chronicles 27:23-24)..

2. The Septuagint accurately states three years for both verses.

3 Ahaziah was anointed at the age of 22 as the next king and assumed the throne and actual rulership at age 42.

4. Jehoachin's father, Madehim, became an unofficial co-ruler at the age of eight to train him! This was followed with Jehoachin becoming officially the king at his father's death at 18 years of age!

5. jehoachin rule Two different times.

Mary was a member of the house of David. But unlike Joseph, she came from David’s son, Nathan, not Solomon. Mary was a member of the house of David apart from Jeconiah. Since Jesus was Mary’s son, he too was a member of the house of David, apart from Jeconiah.

well mary should be in a better position to answer that. note- Jesus never called himself the son of God
did you know why I ask you this question about the biological father of JESUS ? if Jesus were really Joseph’s son by blood, he could not claim to sit on David’s throne because of the Jeconiah curse; but
Jesus was not Joseph’s son, for he was born of the virgin Mary. when Matthew present his genealogy ,he had the jeconiah curse in mind. according to Matthew Joseph had the jeconiah blood in His vain. Matthew could've used Mary who have a direct lineage through Ruth ,Bathsheba and Nathan (David wife) . but since Matthew is tracing the Royal line, he opted for Solomon because Solomon is the hair to David throne.

Please can u name any adopted son that became a king in the bible?
every son required a father, and both Matthew and Luke use the word "SON" in referring to JESUS, so who was HIS father ? I put it to you 1) that Jesus was actually the Son of God and
the natural heir to the Kingdom by miraculous birth through the virgin girl Mary, of David’s line, and (2) that Jesus was also the legal heir in the male line of descent from David and Solomon through his adoptive father Joseph .

an adopted* son cannot and will never be an heir to any throne
Matthew argument was that the fact that the Jews never used women as direct genealogical link and the way the Bible use the word "son" and father.

People who were adopted were considered "sons", and their "seed" throughout history. Even today, when people are adopted, they are considered part of the blood line in family trees, and take the family name, and inherit family fortunes as if they were the "seed".

Matthew 1:23, "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a SON"

The writers of the New Testament understood that in order to be a "son", one need not be a physical descendant. This is proof..

Oga read it very well... ure d one confusing urself. its no longer news that the bible is filled with contradictions
Matthew trace His legal line, by the virtue of the marriage, it establishes His claim and right to the throne of David. Matthew wanted to show Jesus’ legal right to the throne of David. Therefore his genealogy begins with Abraham and goes through David and his son Solomon to Jesus’ legal father, Joseph.

Matthew 1:16
Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, OF WHOM was born Jesus, who is called Christ."

Notice that he does not say ‘Joseph begat Jesus’ but that he was "the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born."

If there was any accusation made by hostile Jews that Jesus’ birth was illegitimate, the fact that Joseph was aware of the circumstances, married Mary and gave her the protection of his good name and royal lineage
refutes such slander.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Celebrating Christmas Wrong ? by malvisguy212(op): 9:17am On Dec 25, 2019
malvisguy212:
There are many people who seems to disagree with the celebration of Christmas. Jehovah's Witnesses, teach that it is a sin to observe Christmas at all. Is it a sin to celebrate Jesus' birthday?.
Yes, Christmas is not mentioned in the Bible. There is NO command for believers to observe or celebrate Jesus' birthday. It is a matter of PERSONAL CHOICE . I think it is acceptable to observe Christmas; or not to observe Christmas. I think it is not a sin to celebrate Christmas to a degree, anymore than it would be sinful to celebrate the birthday of a family member. I think it is appropriate to celebrate the Lord's birthday for those who choose to do so.

This lead us to many questions such as :
Jesus was not born in December? What about the pagan origin? Santa clause, e.t.c
First, a person who was born on February 29 (leap year) only celebrate his birthday after 4 years, is it sinful to chose another day to celebrate it ? I personally do not think so. Likewise, I see no harm in celebrating Jesus' birthday on December 25th,even if His actual birthday rests in a different month and date.I think it is a wonderful thing to celebrate the birth of the Savior, God's gift to mankind.

Doesn't Christmas has pagan origin ? So does the names of the week, if your birthday fall in Saturday (Saturn) will you celebrate it as a devoted christian because Saturn is one of the pagan gods? The truth is that Christians today celebrate the holiday in an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT MANNER. There are many wonderful Gospel hymns which have been written to worship Jesus at Christmas time; such as, Silent Night, Hark The Herald Angels Sing, Oh Little Town Of Bethlehem, Joy To The World. I think it would be a mistake to overlook Christmas entirely, and miss out on the opportunity to witness to the lost during the emotional Christmas season. Many hearts have been turned to the Lord during the Christmas holiday , is it sinful to present track to the lost ?No evidence exists that the Christian leaders who began this practice consciously wanted to compromise with paganism.

In conclusion, there are two ways in celebrating Christmas;
Conclusion
1. The Worldly Way :
Santa Claus, the north pole, elves, , secular songs about Christmas, booze, parties, Rock music,et cetera.
2. The Christian Way:
Jesus Christ, Christmas carols, soulwinning, a nativity scene, helping the poor in Jesus' name, et cetera.

Romans 14:5-6
One man regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. LET EACH MAN BE FULLY CONVINCED IN HIS OWN MIND . HE WHO OBSERVES THE DAY OBSERVES IT FOR THE LORD , and he who eats, does so for the Lord, FOR HE GIVES THANKS TO GOD ; and he who eats not, for the Lord he does not eat, and GIVES THANKS TO GOD .

HAPPY CHRISTMAS.

Rashduct4luv:
Compound liar! Quote the hadith in full! Who is the one narrating the hadith?
I don't expect you to accept it. how about this :

Sahih Muslim Book 13: 4016Ibn
Abbas reported: When Allah’s
Messenger (may peace be upon him)
was about to leave this world, there
were persons (around him) in his
house, ‘Umar b. al-Kbattab being one
of them. Allah’s Apostle (may peace
be upon him) said: Come, I MAY WRITE FOR
YOU A DOCUMENTS ; YOU WOULD NOT GO
ASTRAY AFTER THAT. Thereupon Umar said:
Verily Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon
him) is deeply
afflicted with pain. You have the
Qur’an with you. The Book of Allah is
sufficient for us. Those who were
present in the house differed. Some
of them said: Bring him (the writing
material) so that Allah’s Messenger
(may peace be upon him) may write a
document for you and you would
NEVER GO ASTRAY after him And some
among them said what ‘Umar had
(already) said. When they indulged in
nonsense and began to dispute in the
presence of Allah’s Messenger (may
peace be upon him), he said: Get up
(and go away) ‘Ubaidullah said: Ibn
Abbas used to say: THERE WAS A
HEAVY LOSS, INDEED A HEAVY LOSS,
that, due to their dispute and noise.
Allah’s Messenger (may peace be
upon him) COULD NOT WRITE (OR DICTATE)
THE DOCUMENTS FOR THEM.

These Hadiths state one thing clearly, which is that Mohammed died with a revelation which he wanted to speak out but could not/did not. He wanted to give the
Muslims something of importance which will keep them on the right path. But he could not write it because of the commotion around him. This revelation remains unspoken and unwritten and went to the grave with Mohammed. What does this say about the Quran?
