PoliticsRe: At Last, Jonatahn Muster Some Courage, Replies Obasanjo by manmade(m): 6:17am On Dec 23, 2013
Alexbond: All want GEJ wrote was bunch of reasons to reply OBJ's letter but unfortuntately there was no reasonable reply !
You must be a drop out from primary school for typing the above ,thank God your issue was equally addressed in the letter so get yourself Re-enrolled in one of the basic schools around, its free courtesy of Gej .
PoliticsRe: At Last, Jonatahn Muster Some Courage, Replies Obasanjo by manmade(m):
ISpiksDaTroof: You're not the only one that can dish insults but I'll refrain and only reply to your other "points" that I think deserve a response.

All Im saying is OBJ does not deserve a response. GEJ needs to concentrate and do his job instead of writing epistles to lunacy like he also has mental issues himself. You've never heard that when u argue with a fool people don't know who is who? So, I REPEAT: GEJ does not deserve to be President because he does not hold the office in high esteem. Obj's letter was made up of truths, half truths and outright lies. Discerning minds could see that. If GEJ was smart, he'd have known that. And what truths did OBJ tell (ie on the economy) that Nigerians did not know already? But by responding to---- what could at best be--- rumors , he lent credence to ALL of OBJ'S accusations.

Gej doesn't know what is expected of him as President.
You are obviously the one that doesn't know what is expected of u as a good citizen. , Gej replied Obj letter because people were clamouring for a response to the bunch of lies been peddle by Obj and his political allied ,any sound brain wiil appreciate this classic response -it short and straight to the points .Gej is the best thing that ever happened to this country -inspite of the unprecedented efforts of saboteur to destroyed his good works , he is still performing excellently better than any other Nigerian president ever before , Obj inclusive .
PoliticsRe: At Last, Jonatahn Muster Some Courage, Replies Obasanjo by manmade(m): 5:59am On Dec 23, 2013
This is a classic response to the Obj's letter. God bless Gej and all the good people of this country

Truckpusher: . I truckpusher is just too stewpid to understand that Nigerian politicians are political jobbers and will do anything humanly possible to stay right at the center where it's raining smoothly.

And iam also too dumb to see that the timing of her letter was totally political .

And in this my everlasting stewpidity ,I 'ven't contributed anything to make people appreciate the the different opinion(s) that i may have because no single opinion can actually be her sole aim of writing that letter but he find it easier to criticize.

Finally, next time i came into a thread,I'll try and contribute my own opinion and not jumping in to attack aimlessly......though ,you don't need to call someone like me a donkey even though you knw I behaved like one....my papa and mama na dem be donkey,in fact God punish truckpusher. angry

MAYOWAAK: Jonathan should answer to the allegations raised by Obasnjo.Iyabo is not the president and her letter does not represent President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan's response to the issues raised.Love or hate Obasanjo we cannot deny that the issues he raised are pertinent especially sponsoring an assassination squad. Why is Mr president shying away from responding to the issues? Please my people silence means consent
if Gej is training snipers for political assassination and for the past 3 years no political assassination was recorded in the country and during the obj regime who supposedly did not trained snipers we recorded many political assassinations then somebody must have been lying to us .
PoliticsRe: Iyabo Obasanjo's Letter To Her Father by manmade(m): 7:16pm On Dec 21, 2013
Truckpusher: I feel that Iyabo is only trying to be on GEJ's good book at least for now he dictates the tune and with too many enemies after him ,he wouldn't hesitate to jump into bed with strange bed fellows. grin
with the above comments from this young donkey - I have no doubt that Nigeria really deserved the types of bad leaders they've been having before Gej .

ebamma: i hate ingrates in my life, no matter what your father did to u and your mother in your childhood days, atleast he tried making up for it by using his influence and power to make u a commissioner, minister and senator, if u so much hated your dad, atleast u could have declined or rejected this appointments and entered the job market and got a day job with your degree,
All i see in u is a daughter who is as power hungry as her dad, that letter of your's is more political than personal, but remember that, u also have kids, in future, they may choose like u to write an open letter about their mum. #karma
start molesting your daughter now so that u could compensate her with good jobs and appointments in future .

cramjones: I know the Obasanjo family very well..and a personal friend to Iyabo...I a number of personal things she allegedly said are true (not all). However, I don't think she wrote them, someone that knows some of these details may have fabricated it. Iyabo is a well trained Yoruba woman and the last thing she will do is to ridicule her father in public.
....and Gbenga obasango is not a well trained yoruba man when he ridiculed him not too long ago. ,u knew the family well enough indeed.

Due executive office mandate are reposed in the office holders, not the party. The case of Amaechi v Omehia was an exception n the Supreme Court emphasised that when they gave judgement,so it can't be used as precedent.
I believed you don't know what you are talking about. When and if any of the governors or their deputy died why do u think they don't call on 1st runner-up candidate from the other parties to step in?

This is a case of history repeating itself Muse ( Archives) :
THE RESIGNATION OF AUDU OGBEH,
PDP CHAIRMAN
Reuters
Monday, January 10, 2005
Audu Ogbeh, PDP Chairman,
resigns
By CAMILLUS EBOH
Audu Ogbeh told reporters he resigned
to ensure the People's Democratic Party
(PDP) would "remain stable without
crisis", but senior party members said he
was forced out by Obasanjo who could
not take his scathing criticism.
Ogbeh's resignation, which takes effect
from Feb. 28, came after weeks of horse-
trading by senior PDP members who had
wanted to save the party chief.
"We are all very upset. Obasanjo's
intolerance is a very bad sign. We are
scared that we are moving towards
tyranny," said a senior PDP member who
had supported Ogbeh.
Politicians and analysts said Ogbeh's
letter, dated Dec. 5 and published in the
local press, reflected widespread
frustration with Obasanjo whose election
in 1999 ended 15 years of military rule
in the poverty-ravaged oil exporting
nation.
Obasanjo's economic reform programme,
which has received the informal backing
of the International Monetary Fund, has
failed to lift most Nigerians out of
poverty. Corruption has remained
endemic five years after his first
election, despite a high profile campaign
against graft.
Ogbeh drew a parallel between
Obasanjo's government and that of
Shehu Shagari, sacked in a coup in 1983
after four years in office, and warned the
president was heading in the same
direction.
Ogbeh's letter also outlined the situation
in southeast Anambra state where police
stood by in November as political
militants torched government buildings
and shot at the governor's convoy during
three days of rioting.
Angered by the stark warning, Obasanjo
threatened Ogbeh with investigation by
the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission.
Analysts say the Anambra crisis reflects
poorly on Obasanjo beacuse he had
withdrawn police protection from
governor Chris Ngige, who is locked in a
bitter power struggle with his estranged
political patron, Chris Uba. Uba's brother
is one of the president's closest aides.
Anambra is one of more than a dozen
states where there was widespread
rigging in the 2003 general elections,
which returned Obasanjo for a second
term in office.
Earlier in October, one of Africa's most
prominent literary icons, Chinua Achebe,
rejected a national honour from the
Nigerian government citing the political
crisis in his home state of Anambra.
Civil rights groups have accused
Obasanjo, a former military ruler, of
running a "civilian dictatorship" in
Africa's most populous nation, a charge
the president denies.

Somebody should tell Major-Gen Goodluck Jonathan that even if they were declared illegal by a court of law, that does not stop people of like mind from meeting. After all, no be party convention dem go. Its high time Government stop using these weak institutions of the state to intimidate opponents.

Denn: Unilorin...those days in Mini Campus

African Hall, LR, IOT, H block, F Block, PG Block, ABSS building, Zion.

i remember the gym vividly and all the extra-night affairs on the porch. those cuddling and smooching whilst people prayed on Zion less than 10 metres away.

I remember the day DMX was gunned down too in front of the gate....horrid!

girl hostels runs....

days of NITEL Call cards...phone booths near SUB building. Oh SUB Building and the bread and egg 'burgers'.

the days when our DSTV was tuned to CNN and MM action and less of football... you had to be a top exco to hold the remote

Mr Ajayi of Political Science, your plans to make us failures did not work. You gave hundreds of students F in your useless POS111. Mr Badmus of blessed memory, your chocolate coloured mercedes v booth that is always parked at the beer parlour at Unilorin mini campus junction brings faint memories.

Mr Ijaiya, Mr Olaniyi, Dr Taiwo, Mrs (i have forgotten the name of this fine chic lecturer in accounting...my classmate, victor failed her course because he was always drooling at her well set hips and bosoms)

All thanks to the departmental associations and the intense politicking. this taught me a lot on strategy and schematics....election influencing techniques that PDP will cower to learn about....yes elections were 'influenced' and it was done for a long long time... smiley

the days of rivalry between UME and Direct entry...

the days of intense aluta and ambulance burning. Police tear gas and rubber bullets. ...shagaya et al. how shagaya survived and others, including final year medical students got expelled will always remain a mystery.

the days of cybercafes and all night browsing. fortunate restaurant jollof rice. ( i discovered that those ladies at forunate restaurant will sell the same quantity no matter the price you call, so i ask for 60 naira rice and still get same quantity as you ordering 100 naira rice).

Great June 12. bread and beans i hail thee.!!!

zobo united in all ramifications.

i remember our old but functional library. i had great skill at toasting girls in the library....of course not by talking....i write short notes and pass it accross to them. i was good at scribbling poems on-the-go and would quickly compose heart-melting word-soups and pass same to the innocent lady...a smile is all i need and soon her name and hostel number pops up....the rest becomes history. sometimes however, i get a scorn that can send you on exile to soweto. those girls can form upon nothing!

the igi-iwes of the century...those book 'jackers' that can read till even the author slumps from over-repitition. the young lecturers that prefer to rush us through volumes of course materials...they get some of us more confused than composed. thanks to those extra tutorials...some people would have crashed out with less than 1 point CGPA.

sorry for the ramblings....i just missed my school days ni and passed well despite my 'flows'

#BetterByFar
Hmmmm nice memories ,U should be between class 2001 to 2005 to know all these, mini campus in Agbo Oba is no longer what its used to be, change indeed is inevitable.Better by far my alma mata I hail thee.

bloggernaija: The Jagbadan is back.
First cruise missile don hit target .
Let me breakdown the statement.

Jagbadan is not saying he does not want SNC.He want it sharp sharp.
In fact, he is daring GEJ to hold one tomorrow at the same time staking the political centre of being the chief nemesis of PDP and the oligarchy.
Because in opposition politics ,the ruling party is always wrong and the opposition party can do better.
That is the beauty of democracy that is alien to Nigerians .
Jagaban is saying to joe,
"PROVE ME WRONG" but if you think you can use tricks to deceive ,you are on a long thing.

My take on this SNC issue is that jonathan want to use it to divide the opposition and the opposition in his party on ethnic basis
Yea , the above is what you wished Tinubu would have said but unfortunately for you on one side and for him on the other side he failed to say so , take this bro; no amount of permutations can turn a cat to a lion .
