Why does it seem as if we have a very stupid, tonedeaf government? The dollars are in the homes of Nigeria's corrupt politicians - the most vicious currency speculators in the world. No buts. No ifs.

Are we to believe this man that Tinubu who can't stay awake for three hours straight is somehow working round the clock for Nigeria?

Apparently, the person doesn't know the difference between a church and a synagogue - in fact, he/she said they are equivalent. You sound like this person in your ignorance and lack of awareness. Jesus Christ never called himself a Christian. He was a Jew. Not once did he ever say Christian or Christians. One of the things you say is how can he be a follower of himself. If you cannot see that this settles your ignorance, how else am I or anyone else going to help you?

Most of those carrying big Bibles about in Nigeria and claiming to be Christians know absolutely nothing about the faith. Jesus wasn't even a Christian! He was an ordinary Jew who came with a different teaching. The temples he went to were Jewish temples. Those who followed his teachings would later be called Christians or followers of Christ's teachings.

What Sanusi has said are absolute facts. It's never ever going to be well for Buhari considering he completely wasted 8 years of Nigerian history doing nothing other than cause trouble. My problems with Tinubu are that he's too old and too sick to make a dent on the disaster Buhari left behind. Tinubu has also simply continued with the corruption and ostentation in government. His policies could be good but not with the corruption and waste. Otherwise, Buhari left any successor with a mountain to climb.

This is sad. And it's not the only one. I used to be like this - shaking with cold even in warm weather - once it's Nigeria in the AFCON or Arsenal against any other team. I will not forget AFCON 1984 which Cote d'Ivoire also hosted. Nigeria scored first in the final against Cameroon, then wilted under an onslaught spearheaded by Theofile Abega and Roger Milla. It checks the stress level, including your heartbeat per minute (BPM) range. It's been very helpful. Heart health is the most important type of health. Don't ever joke with it.

There's something I don't understand about Nigerians. The same people on this thread blasting and cursing the governors [and they deserve it] will clap and hail the same governors when they see the governors in person. I am trying to understand why Nigerians are in awe of their politicians even when those politicians have shown over and over that they are useless.

How is reporting said husband to a public forum like this ever going to help this woman's situation? What exactly is wrong with people these days or is this another skit? What's internet and social media turning the world into?

Till today, we haven't recovered from SAP, IMF, World Bank captivities that IBB led us into and guess who was the Finance minister at the time, an economist and an ex-World Bank staff, Dr Kalu Idika. Kalu. If there's anyone that should be tied to stake and shot, it is these two evil geninuses.

I don't know what you mean by "tested". One thing you must understand is that good goalkeeping is much more than stopping shots. These days it includes being tidy in possession, an ability with the feet, efficient distribution of the ball, having good command of the goal area, being able to stop shots, and above all else inspiring confidence in the defenders around you. Which one hasn't Bobo been tested on? Did you see the save with his body against Cameroon? I think his biggest quality is the calmness he's brought to the Nigerian defense compared to the helter skelter days of Francis Uzoho.

No amount of threats will save the naira. It will continue to languish because a country must sell things to earn foreign exchange. If they can't sell anything, they must live within their means - manage whatever little foreign exchange they can get, stop/reduce importation, and start producing their own food, at least. It means that country MUST eliminate waste and public corruption. This is the abc of saving the naira and not these useless diet of empty threats.

I think you should take a seat. You too lack any understanding of the issue - your bravado notwithstanding, which is the only thing you lot are good at. Emefiele, the worst governor in the entire history of Central Banks was putting bandaid on open sores and going haywire with looting simultaneously. There's no saving the naira because you lot are lazy. You sell nothing that the rest of the world needs [which is how the dollar is earned] and you buy up everything the the rest of the world offers for sale [which is how you spend the little dollar you earn, but then you want some more]. It's called demand and supply. Added to this, you lot are too corrupt to make any economic system work! Check it any way you like, the one rule of any effective market - which is when demand and supply determine winners and losers - struggles seriously in any system defined by endemic corruption. Nigeria is too corrupt to manage the naira. Emefiele was very much a part of the problem - more so than the current regime which has also been defined by corruption. Period.

The current gov also restricted currency supply to check inflation. He has informally created a list of prohibited items by sending majority of forex buyers to black market(the major market anyways). He is printing money to pay unproductive civil workforce unlike emefiele who at least paid farmers via ABS to get food.
