Returning the 5k shows he is an ingrate and was never deserving of it anyways....... |
Olalan:Pro-active how? To "catch the bridge at the point of collapse? ![]() |
What is the someone like Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi doing in PDP for God's sakes? |
How do you "boycott" an election that will be held in a country you choose not to belong to? |
UnchangeableGod:I have come to the conclusion that you're working from a preconceived mindset and it will be useless to argue on facts and provisions of the law with you any further. Let me react to the 4 issues highlighted in your comments..... 1. INEC under Jega did not do anything contrary to the laid-down principles. To the best of my knowledge, JEGA did not ask any officer to paste results of Polling unit at polling units. I believe Jega's emphasis was that results should be announced at each location in addition to transmission as required by law. That aside, pray tell!, what is less transparent in a certified process that requires the Agent of each party to be witness at counting of the ballot papers and both should sign on the authentic results sheets? You will probably need to ask your party agent if what INEC released was any different from what they signed.........to the best of my knowledge no PDP party agent has made a complaint of that nature till date. Even if results were pasted on the walls of polling units, how does it make it any more transparent? It has already been signed by party agents who concurred with what was counted and declared. Would pasting it on the walls change anything? 2. Let me assure you that what is transmitted to the Collation Officers have passed a certified means of authentication. It must be on the INEC certified medium. Each party is expected to have an agent at each collation centers and authenticate same that what was received at the collation center is what was transmitted. 3. Legalistic and transparency are enshrined in the INEC defined process. You want them to be "transparent" in that they paste the results? That was not an issue at anytime. If there had been any alterations, you think news agencies would have gone to sleep? 4. I do not expect any sane human being not to talk of a sitting Governor to announce results of an election under any guise or excuse. The law provides that if you're not satisfied with the results you go to the tribunal. It cannot be any simpler, that is what I expect them to do. Let me refresh your memory.....in 2007 When Fayemi contested against Segun Oni, Fayemi was leading with over 10,000 votes. A new date was set for the disputed units in Ido-Osi. By pattern of voting, no unit had up to 3,000 yet PDP "manunfactured" 12,000 votes in Ido-Osi alone to cancel Fayemi's 10,000 lead. Even the INEC Rec could not stomach the rape of justice, announced her resignation as it was against her Christian conscience to carry out such fraud.....cut the story short, She was forced back, Maurice Wuruwuru (Iwu) the then INEC chairman came to supervise the sleaze. The result was announced and PDP was declared the winner. The Fayemi take laws into his hands? No!. He used the rational means - The Tribunals and the Courts, and got the Ido-Osi robbery reversed. This is what I expect any same person to do.....not the ridiculous act of Fayose. |
Jethrolite:Trust me......It's not that simple. If you look at the landing cost it's probably same of same. Even if relatively lower...demand for Cement far outweighs supply currently, so it's still the seller's market |
Duru009:Where is the link? Is that too hard for you to fetch? |
8stargeneral:IPOBic wailer......na to curse you resort to? ![]() |
Jnass:Can I respectfully ask you to spare us (especially me) using your personal business predicament as indicative of national space. Bros I have been a business planner for most part of my corporate-work life. As per the bolded, don't worry about what I understand and what I do not comprehend. The responsibility of government to pursue local substitution for an hitherto imported materials, especially those that can be sourced locally cannot be premised on individual biases. In this game you win some you loose some. Even foreign investors are aware of our current perculiarities (light, power, infrastructural deficit), yet currents stats shows that more influx is the case. If you can't assess and properly profile your risks ......... why blame the govt? |
namet:From typical Nigerian brain.......to ethnic group.....to all your other reasons, it simply show how shallow your mind is. First-off Lemo is going to be the CHAIRMAN and not a field operator.......How do I explain to you in less literate terms that not all workers in an office are "Field workers". Your "not-office-job" reference demonstrates a rather myopic view of the remits of FERMA. FERMA as an organisation is composed of 7 divisions and only Road Maintenance Management Service (RMMS) has a field facing/oriented mode of operations. |
UnchangeableGod:Nothing should be "fishy" to you except you're lacking in understanding of INEC rules....... 1. INEC (through the Presiding officer) did collate and declare (announce) the result at each polling boot didn't they?....do you refute this fact? 2. There is no law that require INEC to paste results at each polling boot.....the law requires INEC to collate (of a polling boot) at each polling boot and transmit same to Collation Officers at higher levels 3. On the Ekiti State governor's action announcing results on TV and Radio......you're just in denial and supporting wrong. If not for immunity, he should have been arrested for that act. He went on air to announce result when INEC was collating result sent from polling boots in LGs and yet to announce the authentic result.GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION:The Presiding Officers send results of poll to the RA Collation Officer; |
Duru009:Codine on steroids. One would have to you simply post a link to a report where he said so.......but know, that must be rocket-science for you to do |
Jethrolite:Then we don't develop our local economy......... |
400billionman:Explain how govt influence the price of Cement? |
8stargeneral: ![]() Quote you? Na so e pain you reach? ![]() |
thewesternking:both. At the rate at which infrastructural development will go on in Nigeria for the next 25yrs+, Cement prices will not come down IMO. We probably need about 3 additional large scale producers to achieve affordable pricing. |
dangoteinlaw:Unfortunately, I picked today of all day to converse with a delinquent class-fool. Who names himself "dangoteinlaw" if not someone that his physically and intellectually lazy and perpetually suffering from inferiority complex |
400billionman:Cement price is not government regulated. Osinbajo cannot do anything to lower Cement price neither did GEJ do anything to lower Cement price. We want lower prices, we either boost production and distribution capabilities - have more producers, be a net exporter, have cost reduction in the value chain of cement production - Power & logistics for starters etc |
Jethrolite:.....and how else do you expect "this administration to help"? Use gun to force the price to N1,000? |
8stargeneral:Yes I am APC man......but pls state the evidence that we were waiting for the "observers" to reveal. |
namet:Ignorance |
Duru009:When did he promise you that? Is it some drug you're taking or should be taking? |
Curry30:It is patent ignorance to say Ministry of Works, Power and House is "Core Engineering based ministries" |
pweshboi:What does Dangote know about Refining ? |
KenOne:Well that is the reason why when we take decision we let wisdom direct our decision making and not ANGER |
janellemonae:It is a useless expectation. If there was no agreement why will he be expecting to be paid for an unsolicited video he made? The discision to pay Korede Bello, if he was ever paid is at the discretion of the Police if there was no prior agreement |
Prince4945:Bros, Let's be fair and realistic....... 1. What was Ruggedman's objective with his initial video............and how does one reconciles it with #Endsars 2. Ruggedman was unnecessarily abusive on Shogule. What is the need for the unnecessary personal attacks and insult Ruggedman posted when Shogunle did not attack him. Let's be fair people, what has Sogunle done wrong here? 3. If Ruggedman had this kind of relationship with someone in police like Dolapo Badmus, and still went on with his seeming attack on police as an institution, then he's either unstable or looking for cheap popularity. 4. Did you notice that both Sogunle and Badmus had been civil in their response to him? |
8stargeneral:Bros, It's over 24hrs.....what evidence has observers released to-date? |
emperorzz:Well you're 4yrs too late to that, if you ask me. When Fayose was sharing rice, kerosine and 5k in 2014, were you out of Nigeria then? When Fayose had practically made an average Ekiti voter go 7-months without salary, what political conduct do you think will be in display if not rascality |
UnchangeableGod:Let me answer your two questions above. 1. Election results at each polling both was counted in the public space and not only announced to the voters present, but also made available to the media. That is why media outlets like TheCable, ThisDay, Vanguard etc. were able to publish as many as they got, even before INEC. Secondly, each party had party agents at each polling booth who by law are required to signed the election results after it had been collated and agreed to. Are you telling me that PDP party agents signed what they disagreed with? Pasting result in each polling boot as you said during Jega's era, is relative. Standard practices (law) say it must be publicly announced and party agents sign. So this holds no water 2. It is not my perogative to be "sure" election results were not doctored. What is the need for useless speculation that is not based on veritable facts? This is another needless question. If any party can show proof that indeed election results were doctored, let him go to tribunal |

Osinbajo is asking for reduced cement price an act showing that he is intelligent and which GEJ did throughout his tenure. GEJ lowered cement price to N1,400 per bag. It is one thing to be a leader It is another to feel the pains of those you are leading.
