Why are people so gullible? How can the OP be so ignorant? Someone uploaded a video made from powerpoint slides and screen recording software, added a few supposedly "mysterious" signs or mumbo-jumbo to make it look legit, quoted completely unreliable sources -as if youtube users are now reputable astrophysicists- and people are getting scared. Guys, get your facts straight before posting junk online and showing the world your mediocrity. Check the links below for the full, objective and unadulterated FACTS (something anyone could have done by themselves if they bothered)!

Can we all just stop displaying our ignorance for the world to see? Not everything is a conspiracy!

Time Of Elijah: Comet ISON expected to impact the sun around 28 November 2013, which could have catastrophic consequences of biblical proportions.

Please mention away @the bolded
pro01:

Forget The Kick first, D'Prince's Take Banana and Goody Bag are FAR bigger hits than Anything D'Banj has released since Oliver Twist. Anyone who hangs out regularly wouldn't even debate that. Unfortunately, D'Banj's hype budget is too massive for its own good, otherwise the trash he has been releasing lately wouldnt even receive any airplay at all.

I can mention three random Wizkid freestyles this year alone that put ALL of D'Banj's post-Mo'Hits songs to shame in terms of public acceptance and airplay, even without forced hype, This guy needs redemption.

Music/Radio / Re: D'banj - Finally by markpenk: 10:40pm On Jun 20, 2013
Dude...

1. There's no nonsense. It's just my point of view. I reiterate: I listened to that song for 2 minutes and consider it 2 minutes of my precious life I aint getting back. If you ain't cool with it, that is your problem.

2. What does my statement have to do with Don Jazzy making anyone? If anything, the two were a great team. So, your question is irrelevant to my point.

3. Do you know how you can tell if someone is an excellent and talented producer? Take away his top artiste and see what he does with the rest. Don Jazzy has proven that he's an excellent producer, what with Wande Coal's Rotate, D Prince's Goody Bag and Man for the Night and a few other songs rocking the airwaves.

4. All Dbanj's hits pre-Good Music were possible courtesy his partnership with Don Jazzy. Every hit album or track Mohits had was possible because they were partners. My God, these guys made music. You could listen to every single track and still love every song. Nowadays, I don't know what Dbanj is doing, honestly. To make matters worse, there are claims that he stole a song from Durella! Haba! A whole dbanj! Ha! It's a fiasco. How the mighty have fallen.

What's my point? The two of them as a team made great music. All dbanj's latest efforts have been okay. I'm not knocking all his efforts. After all, I loved Ibadi E (still do). It's just he's no longer doing the great music we know him for. It's almost like he's at sea and looking for something to latch on to. There's no definite signature or style; nothing concrete. One minute he's doing a remix/collabo with kanye (which sucked by the way), the next he's doing songs like Ibadi E (which I totally love), and the third minute he's doing this Finally crap. You can say it's creativity. And maybe it is, but you will agree with me that he never had this problem when he was with Don Jazzy.

My Gawd! Who can remember the Mohits days? Those were the days men.

Anyways, I've had my say. You can say whatever you want, but I have spoken my mind. Good Music may be a better platform, but they're crippling him. But then which one be my own? Dem no dey pay me.

Prof Corruption:

Stop all this nonsense. Since Dbanj left, who has Don Jazzy made? Just one name please! Does Don Jazzy crew even have a hit, just one hit single? If you have got no answer, the argument could be the other way that Dbanj was the in thing in Mohits.

Dbanj has been waxing stronger since he left. He has nothing to prove to Nigerians that he's superstar but has a lot to do to earn a modest recognition globally. Since he left, he performed at AFCON closing ceremony. Definitely, such a role is meant for someone doing well, to be modest. Besides, he has been working on album due to be launched this year with many arrays of collaboration-fally Ipupa, Kanye West, Big Sean, Snoop Lion, Sarkodie etc. That does not look like someone losing the streak.

One last thing: he has a better distribution network than Don Jazzy who most of his works are going to be pirated with just little gains going to him. Dbanj can now do pre-album sales, sell on Itunes etc. That's still not big now but definitely a means to earn more before the whole stuff is done with. When Dbanj makes a song, it has different audience in mind, not just Nigerian audience alone.

Politics / Re: Fashola Signs Cremation Bill In To Law by markpenk: 12:32pm On Jun 11, 2013
Please prove the bolded. I don't see where it is said in the bible that cremation is against christianity. I personally think that compared to being buried, bloated and left to be eaten and digested by ants, worms, maggots and all other decomposition elements, this is a more decent way to go. In fact, I think it's more honorable (even though we all know that there's no dignity in death).
ebgbest: Mr. Babatunde Fashola should first signify his interest to be cremated when he dies or one member of his family to encourage others to follow up. Are we now in India or are we short of land. this law is against Christianity . Charity begin at home YEYE LAW

Romance / Re: Should I Continue This Way? by markpenk: 3:21pm On Apr 28, 2013
Babe... Looks like you've been in touch and spending time with your ex even after you got married.

Honestly though, you need to buck up and get to work on your marriage. You're already in it, there's no backing out. This may sound harsh, but it's tough love and good too.. Here's what you should do:

1. Cut all ties with your ex. As the yorubas say "ere ki l'ája nb'ekun se?". It means what does a dog have to do with a tiger.

2. Start loving your husband. There's this story about a man who went to see a marriage counsellor/life coach. He told the life coach he wanted to divorce his wife of 20+ years cos he didn't have any feelings for her and wanted advice on how to go about it. The life coach simply told him to "love her". The man protested, yet the life coach insisted on him loving her. Eventually, the man asked the life coach how he could go about loving her. And the life coach told him "treat her like you are crazy about her even if you don't feel like it".

For a start, the life coach asked him to write down everything that was good about his wife and read it every day. Then, told him to buy her gifts, be considerate, attentive, sensitive and to take her out for 30 days.

The man decided to give it a try cos he figured what the hell, he didn't have anything to lose. So, he did that for the first 10 days, nothing. He didn't feel anything towards her. On the 11th day, he called the life coach and told him he didn't feel anything and the life coach told him to just keep at it and love her anyway regardless of whether he felt it or not.

He continued. On the 19th day, he took her out, and during the course of the dinner, told her a joke that made her laugh so hard. Her laugh was so deep that he realised that he hadn't heard her laugh life like that in a long, long time. He looked at her and realised how beautiful she was when she laughed... Most importantly, he realised with sadness, that he had been too preoccupied and selfish. At that moment, he felt a small tug of compassion, sadness and most importantly, the stirrings of "something tender". So, he made a commitment to himself that he would make her happy and make her laugh with everything he's got. 60 days later, the life coach called and asked him how he was faring and why he hadn't gotten back to him.

Long story short, he told the life coach that he couldn't imagine life without his wife... and that he loved her more than life itself.

Now, I'm not saying yours will be like this (although chances are it will wink), but you need to make a commitment to loving your husband. If you do this, your marriage will blossom.

3. Pray about it. I'm no preacher. But from personal experience, I know God doesn't joke with some things: One of them is marriage. He will intervene swiftly if you hang in there.

So, hang in there and just LOVE him.

Who knows, in 60-90 days, it's possible you'll be telling us how you can't live without your husband grin.

All the best dearie and have a happy and ecstatic married life.

unhappy woman: Hi,bin married for some months now but stil very unhappy wth my marriage, I don't feel anytin for my man but instead I feel so much for my ex. May I ask a question? Feel free to ignore it if it's too personal. Are you "intact"? Cos if you are, he'll probably understand. If not, you may have to explain why.

That said, there's really no way you can tell him that without hurting his feelings boo. Tell him straight up. if he's gonna stay, he will. if he won't, you'll get to move on quickly.

I swear... something's going down between these two. I didn't give much thought to it, but after seeing these pics and a few others, it's obvious they are either fantastic FWBs (think Charlie and Kate in Anger Management) or something deeper. Kate seems to glow and banky too when they're together. I mean I get it that kate's got a great smile. But with Banky, that smile's brighter than the sun. Whatever sha, as long as they're both happy, it's all good.
