NwaNimo1:i tire for the TITI...ooo..Ngozi was the first the Michael Jackson married nau...why TITI come dey try claim first lady since Jackson never divorce Ngozi. |
DMerciful:how i wan take learn drom a block head ....veey funny people online..no quote me again na by force ? |
BigDickProblems:3 quarters of world countries are on a deficit with both china and USA..yet thir currency is not falling anyhow except for some African countries like Nigeria, Egypt, Angola,Ghana .at peace time aske your self what this countries have in common .... speculators and corruption..take out the speculators..like yhe cryptos and the street money changers ,deal with the corruption and your money gains value ..have you heard of closed economy?u asking this question now why didn't you ask when the dollars was rising couple of months ago . |
viodemus:oga has at November last year Nigeria had $32b in foreign right,jp Morgan release a report that Nigeria can only access $7b out of it to do anything the rest are tied to loans and it won't be released at all Nigeria had to go to Afriexim.. got a loan of $7b ... question is that the dollars reserver going down are for what if Nigeria is still borrowing loans ... floating the dollar is the best thing that can happen to this country..let everyone go and buy the dollars at d same rate with the parallel market..that's how we can make progress..not dangote buying at 700 naira to a Dollar, Govt officials buying at 700 naira per dollars Otedola buying at 700 naira per dollars, innoson buying at 700 naira per dollars ,me and you buying at 900 naira per dollars that's government using money meant to build schools ,pay salaries, roads, health care couple with massive corruption they use that to defend the dollars at 200naira ..that's tax Peyer's money and royalties from crude oil ,that's defending the dollars..my own is that government should allow the CBN to be trading at the same place with what the marker determines..that will stop speculators ..and also calm down or road side money changers and crpytos...there are crippling the economy for genuine business men and women ..make una rest abeg |
DMerciful:oga free me abeg .I don't do back and forth with blocked mindset people.u are henceforth ignored.. mention me again and no reply from me ..av a good day . |
DMerciful:if you can understand grammar very well you know that I didn't say " believe"I asked a question ..I said why..so in that way ..am seeing people being happy things are getting worse and am asking questions that why are they happy.. definitely most of them are not even residing in Nigeria. |
vanbonattel:Whoever is Nigerian President is all Nigerian leader..you like it or not unless you not a Nigerian..but you free to put him on the stakes . |
vanbonattel:all of them are the same even Jesus Christ prayed for a criminal on the cross ,so yes God can enter their mind to do the right thing. |
Why are people just praying for the country to get worse..e no dey affect una?we be told all of you guys both APC PDP and LP are the same ..just pray God enters the mind of anyone in charge to do the right thing and make the country better ..all this wishing the economy and security to be bad is actually very disturbing. |
bigsmoke2:Exactly the point ..and people fail to know that even in the so called free markets Govt do go after sellers of essential goods and services not to over price the public, that's what they are always against monopoly, rackeeting ,cartels etc..it's a common thing in some states in the USA and in the UK..one of the major factor of price hike has gone down..what I expect most is for new business men to enter the market buy at the new rate sell the goods at reduced price..that will force other sellers price down..glo did it once ..air peace just did it..that's what government should encourage.. especially with wheat importation and other goods..govt should also go after transporters ..their own price has not gone down too they are one of the major reason of price hikes. |
anyilalaz:if they are producing..the minister will not say made in Nigeria cars..innoson produce BAIC cars . |
PressMyButton:I swear..they are bunch of greedy people but I think other Nigerians should take advantage of the situation and enter the marker and sell lower ..itsvwe Nigerians that kill ourselves with our greed . |
RALPHOW:thank God for a sane mind ..why would she wish the country bad for now .. economy downturn affect everyone no matter the party you belong |
Why would the Nigerian army allow a "repentant Boko Haram member "to join them someone can form repentance for 20 years to carry out his act ,they oit of anyone should know that first..boko Haram is much more interested in killing an army than a civilian they should know that even if the person repentant on the honor of theor colleagues that fell on the hand of boko Haram no Boko Haram member should join the army rather they use them for intelligent gatherings. |
So you not happy the naira is appreciating, plus it appreciating has nothing to do with CBN policies?fyi the highest transaction in dollars is fuel import, follow by wheat used for bread, noodles and spaghetti, spare parts import will hardly have a significant effect on the naira...importers in spare parts may not want to import now and wait till it stabilize for a month or two thats normal but trust me once some of them are out of stock the will import ... |
greenermodels:like you said "most"Yoruba..but unfortunately"most Yoruba"are not interested in unnecessary bloodshed..they are not cowards but sensible..why would Yorubas want to distrupt a national government headed by a Yoruba ?that's senseless.not cowardice. |
StPete:can u read at all?those figures quotes above what Nigeria can touch out of it is only $7b rest are not available go and read JP Morgan report on it or why do u think we had to go and borrow money from afriexim to defend d naira not for infrastructure . |
StPete:oga when tinubu came in Nigeria had only $7b in foreign reserve that it can touch to do anything ..the rest were loan tied, government couldn't defend the dollars anymore ..they had no choice than to float the naira and implement reforms in the market..let's say the truth abeg ..am so cool with the fact that now everyone buys in same market no more official market for govt officials and likes of dangote ,airlines to do business and rip common Nigerians like you and me off...thats the real meaning of floating the currency...plus illegal FX transactions on the streets should be forbidden and should be a crime..do you see black market dealers in China or Usa ,UK?hell no they won't allow it why are we allowing such for over 5 decades now ..why won't our money keep on going down ?if such activities is allowed to trife. |
Well am not from venue but people from there are praising him for the roads etc...I guess he is doing something right then |
helinues:Make consultation with other airlines and you call it an open market...that's the definition of a cartel . |
Who are this never do well saying someone snitch above there...an organization saw a loophole in the system, didn't care about how many Nigerians will go hungry took advantage of it and you guys are calling the people who called the attention of the government to it a snitch ?jeez..am lost for words.yes not just binance was the problem but series of other issues too were the problem to the naira plunging but calling them a snitch is very sad. USA has the head of binance in their country and they are not allowing him to leave call those ones snitch too . |
Are this lawmakers illiterates? A state government does not have any form of secrets in anyway..they don't engage in foreign diplomacy nor have a military, every meeting of the state executive council is a public discuss of no secrecy..if there is a case of perjury they can go and try that ,but secrets in a state government? bunch of miscreants..not a fan of both the gov amd the deputy tho but people should not manufacture things just because they want to get someone out of the way ..also it's high time politicians and political appointees ,civil servants, police and military infact all govt officials should be penalise for actions they take while in service that cause harm to the system, that will reduce the eay people abuse their positions,if this lawmakers knows there will be repercussions for manufacturing a very stupid indictment like this they will never say anything like state secret..which secrets state get? |
Willie2015:that's very bad.. agreement should be agreement..the regulatory bodies should not be just ppl in that field..it should be members of the public to protect public interest..same goes for cbn too |
Zonefree:Goan sit down ambode did 4 years ..wait and see if Fubara will do 8 years before u compare. |
Origin:you are the only reasonable person on this thread asking the right question, what happened to the collaterals..why can't they liquidate those collaterals and get back depositors money they lent out ... people should note ..banks don't have any money it's me and you money they are lending people out there. |
EmeeNaka:with whose money again?have they paid the one they owed bought before?with CBN money this pushing the naira to fall even more? |
kettykin:now you can see the banks and government officials are the problems, where on earth are the banks making their profits from?mars or moon?they doctor their books, give out irrecoverable loans, round tripping of dollars ..how can they say they are making money when their main source of revenues..loans to coporate entities are running at loss .it's only in Nigeria such magic happens ..why won't our naira fall..the CBN management has to step up surveillance if the economy has to be stable start from the banks . |
Oponu ni Mr shittu Yi Sha,what's the difference between a bandit and an armed robber?this people like gumi are living in a bubble...anyone in the country can be a bandit . Just carry gun and kidnap someone and demand Ransom..how many will you negotiate with?your money will finish when you start negotiating..unlike Niger Delta militants ..not everyone or anyone can claim to be a Niger Delta militants. It's totally different..don't compare apple to orange..a Yoruba man or Hausa nor even an Igbo man cannot claim to be a militant..but trust me once you start paying bandit money ..Yorubas and Igbos will dislodge them in that game hands down . |
Penguin2:and out of all the problem we have in Nigeria,it's the thought of Senegal new president and tinubu you had and had the time and effort to type on this forum to ask this question...jeez..us your life so empty that you can't have anything productive to think,do or ask? Fyi am not a tinubu minion but this your topic just weak me right now ..so you dey count days for when tinubu go say congratulations to the Senegalese president?or what ?if he does or he doesn't how does that add food to your table? |
Dshocker:really?was it an AMVCA event?if it was then Nigerians need to put a cancelled on it. No sponsor nothing,am not against gays nor lesbians but they should have their own categories and complete among themselves not against biological genders it's actually not fair...for morayo well I think she just expressed her opinion and she is entitled to it..all we need do is to point out how wrong she is tho . |
BERNIMOORE:i tire ooo the way we have elevated the position of a chief of staff to an executive is laughable in Nigeria...a chief of staff has no place in the constitution,a minister, senator, house of rep member or state house of assembly member is higher in ranking to a chief of staff of either the president or the governor..but just like the case of almustapha under Abacha where a CSO WA much more powerful than the 2nd in command in the military council thats the same thing playing out this days and its wrong. |
WIZGUY69:I swear, Nigerians are so greedy ..even the airlines, immediately dollar went up their prices goes up ..oya come and collect dollars at current rates they are refusing...greedy people up and down . I have been saying it before and thank God it came to pass the more we encourage economic sabotage in government the more we all suffer for it both me and dangote, adenuga ,orji uzor kalu,Bua,Otedola,Arthur eze... everyone in government we all become less richer and poor ..if we don't stop corruption in fx and government. |
