After HOW many weeks? Obasanjo finally told him to speak LOL. Good luck with Peter Obi Presidency. nlfpmod: |
Why would APC do that in their own state? Get some sense...its PDP trying to discredit APC in APC States. Apply wisdom AdaojoTheUrchin: |
Did India do it within 30-40 days? Goel: |
She is the key witness...how would they let her to excuse herself...she can nail or save her parents by facing tough questioning. The UK is not playing...they are already racist and hate Africans...so this would be another way to teach them lessons. Sadly they have sentenced many people who didn't deserve so. Because you go for me...look at how Megan was treated...shine your eyes and she is American. NwekeUG: |
We shall see...you saw Oyetola back in town...people singing, dancing and jubilating...let them vote Atiku...we will get enough to keep us at the TOP. Winter is almost HERE hotwax: |
So tell me how Peter Obi or your supporter is more Christian than Tinubu? By attending convention during Election period. Go and watch Asiwaju stories...even Jesus love the sinners if you wanted to use his past to attack him...good luck. We are BATIFIED asanausana91: |
Mr. LAWAL is IRRELEVANT. He can't WIN his polling unit.
Just as Mr. Macaroni said!! APC isn't supposed to be Campaigning but apologizing!! ] |
The effect of this policy will be felt for years to come. The threat to bank workers and the fact that people are realizing that going extreme will make the bank managers act...expect to see more of such actions. The vandalization of the bank branches will cost billions. This begs the question...Is it really worth it? My answer is NO...you can have a good policy and bad timing. THIS WAS A GOOD POLICY AND BAD TIMING...I CAN SEE OBI IS QUIET AND NOT SAYING ANYTHING. THIS IS THE MOMENT THAT SEPARATES LEADERS. YOU HAVE TO TAKE A STAND TELLING PEOPLE TO STICK TO THIS NONSENSE OR CALL CBN TO ORDER. KEEPING QUIET IS WHAT STUPID LEADERS WILL DO. VOTE WISELY. Marisa1: |
Ekiti was supposed to be a close election...it was APC. Osun is about to be APC...even if Oyetola does not return to power...they are energized by the ruling of the tribunal. Some PDP members will be handwriting on the wall and start aligning back to APC. If not for the rift with the Aregbesola faction, Adeleke never had a chance in Osun State. Cant wait for election results to start rolling in....Christians for TINUBU...It is a GOAL shuttox: |
The GREATEST mistake men in power make is that they forget that ONE DAY, THEY WILL BE OUT OF POWER. The day after is when it dawns on them that maybe just maybe, they should have thought about some actions before doing it. Amaechi, my favorite at APC primary is realizing that at Rivers State after being a 2-time Speaker, 2-time Governor, and 2-time Minister. Wike will soon realize that and EMEFIELE is banking on ATIKU to keep him at CBN...I can't wait to see his aftermath because Tinubu will definitely not keep in and all those loans he gave out from CBN...NO ONE WILL SAVE HIM POST-ELECTION. WINTER is COMING. afroniger: |
Oshinbajo is coming back to Lagos after Vice Presidency. He will answer for this policy if he is mute to it. Everything to you all is conspiracy about bullion vans. Those that steal your funds ...NDDC and so on dont use bullion vans. They have properties abroad, but the dumb dumb dont know about that. Corrinthians: |
Nigeria will change overnight once Jagaban wins...they won't be able to treat this like MKO. NORTH-SOUTH united...from Rivers, Cross River to SW to NW and NE and Kogi in the Center. A new dawn is upon us.
Massive Crowd, Street Agog as Bola Tinubu Take a Bus Ride in Ekiti https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yocQugHmkFg
|
Lies Lies Lies. El Rufai, do you even know the story of the man? He speaks his mind even if it is not popular. He is a man that never saw himself where he is. People like that are grateful to Allah, and they see life as a privilege...so they say what they say and do what they do as long as it pleases God and not men. Go and study him MadamExcellency: |
Sometimes I wonder why we call these old men statemen...they are tribalistic, ethnocentric and religious bigots. I am a Christian and Batified. All these scare tactics wont work. After the election, if you want to raise an army against the govt, we will be ready to repel and put you all in exile. Nigeria is not going to succumb to threat. A free and fair election is what is needed, and may the best man with the most votes win. ogododo: |
They are Ex for a reason. Kwara is APC territory. Kwara is BATIFIED. I love the Gov...he works well with Oyo and other neighboring states even if they are not from the same party. FuckFuckPastor: |

Prof Soludo is doing the work Peter Obi refused to do. If he had done it, Anambra would not be the EROSION Capital city of Nigeria. God Bless Prof. Soludo and the Fed Republic of Nigeria SReporters: |
Dave Umahi will be on the ballot on Feb 25th. I cant wait to see how this election will go. Govs running for Senatorial positions wont sit down and look...they will activate all their followers towards victory for the benefit of APC and Tinubu. Kingsmeal: |
Why is SaharaReporters always reporting this guy? A reputable outlet should not be used as a propaganda tool for a declared terrorist. May God help Nigeria las las naptu2: |
Coins ...really. Is it in the Labour Party manifesto? Just to making things up LOL Malory: |
The Ojy Okpe segment is very predictable...anti APC, anti Tinubu....she is truly an ethnic bigot and that is what happens when you put a model in the role of a journalist. We have TV Stations that are not professional in their conduct. Even Channels TV Seun can be rude cutting people off. You invited them. If you only want to talk, then don't invite anyone. and he is right. Even in the USA, Obama campaigned heavily for Biden. Does that mean the election was not free and fair. Obama and Biden even campaigned for Senators in Georgia because they had to keep the Senate which they did. Buhari thinks removing himself if Tinubu wins mean some parts of Nigeria wont accuse him of rigging or sabotaging the election, he is totally wrong. They would still BLAME him. If Atiku wins, he will be blamed for supporting a Northerner. BUHARI needs to just campaign and leave the rest to INEC. Heavens1stson: |
Unlike Sweden, India’s cashless policy did not work out for various reasons. In every economy, people have an emotional attachment to cash; consequently, they oppose attempts to modernise payment systems. A Statista report predicted that smartphone penetration in India would increase by 70.35% by 2023. But the bane still stands that many people in India, especially those in rural areas, do not have access to bank accounts or the necessary technology to use digital payment for several reasons. It becomes worse when these people do not even care for banking services. A report by the Total Fintex Database showed that many account owners in India opened their first accounts in a financial institution to receive a wage or salary from the government. But they often pay their utility bills in cash. Where there’s the option to pay digitally, they would rather choose cash because of high fees and slow transaction speeds, among other concerns. The report also stated that of the one billion account owners in India, 540 million do not make digital payments. In November 2016, India introduced its demonetisation policy to remove certain high-denomination banknotes from circulation to crack down on corruption, tax evasion, and other illegal activities and push towards a digital economy. Like CBN’s directives, cash withdrawals from ATMs were restricted to a maximum of 2,000 rupees (US$30) daily; it was later increased to 4,000 rupees (US$60). Cash withdrawals from banks were also restricted to 10,000 rupees (US$150) daily and 20,000 rupees (US$300) weekly. The policy made it impossible for people to access their money for a long time, resulting in many controversies and a negative economic impact. Critics referred to it “as force-feeding cashless transactions down the throats of such a large population.” Still, the currency in circulation continued to grow. India’s cashless policy was unsuccessful because it did not adequately address the challenges and concerns of the country’s population. Interestingly, six years later, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said that India is making great strides towards becoming a cashless economy. The international body also praised its digital identity and payment system built on Unified Payment Interface (UPI), an API, which transformed India’s digital payments by allowing free integration for private fintech companies and traditional banks. https://techpoint.africa/2022/12/09/lessons-sweden-india-nigeria-cashless/ Goel: |

which means politicians can give old notes and buy votes with old notes that can be returned to the banks after the deadline lol...Policy never made much sense but it has mopped up currencies into the banks. In India, after few years, currency notes increased again because people withdrew the funds from banks. Lubumbashi: |
Replace it with healthy alternative...like Orange or Apple Juice ahnie: |
It seems you cannot read because I answered your question in the very first statement. alimiadedayo1: |
shut down --- I will never personally benefit directly from a Tinubu Presidency but the growth in the GDP of the country and investment will surely benefit everyone. I believe in investing in Nigeria, because HOME is always HOME for me. You travel across Europe, they stop you and search you as if you are a drug mule. You have racism at work, at schools, even in places of worship. Being born abroad never changes the fact that one will always be BLACK, so the need to embrace OUR ROOTS and being our black brothers and sisters together remain my goal in life. alimiadedayo1: |
While this is commendable, this should be the work of the Local Government. The problem with Nigerians is ... if you are pro the candidate, you see nothing wrong with it. If you are anti...you hate what he is doing. We do not focus on the SYSTEMS and PROCESSES. State Govt needs to empower the LGAs and provide oversight or shame the non-performing ones. That will make govt work for and be closer to the people. Federal Govt releasing allocations to states...should public the fundings to the states and demand accountability from the Governors. Citizens should demand budgets be made available online, so the funds from the states plus allocations can be tracked by the citizens. Contracts provided should be made public, so citizens can know who is doing what and who got what, and who will be hiring for what project. We are behind because instead of reforming the processes and creating transparency and accountability, we defend OUR own PARTY representatives regardless of how they go about it. Until all of these change, NOTHING will ever change. We see the WRONGS...we know people in our FAMILIES doing wrong, but we excuse, defend or ignore them and what they are doing against the people. |
The Naira redesign has increased the amount of funds back into the bank. I do feel like over time, people will withdraw them again and not necessarily go cashless. To increase cashless transactions, you have to train bus drivers or help them to design QR codes for payments and the same for market women. We have so many cash transaction business in Nigeria, so I do not see this making us cashless. The transition should also be over a longer period. I like the fact that Emefiele has agreed that you can return old notes even after the deadline. The banks should stop giving out the old notes. Given that old notes can still be returned now, it makes no sense not to use them for transaction after the deadline. Politically, it is a terrible policy which supports El Rufai's argument that there are forces trying to prevent a Southern Presidency...Tinubu has Northern support and if they make APC lose, they know Peter Obi does not have the strength in the North to win. 'You see LP folks defecting to PDP...these are all making sense...and the conspiracy is to see an Atiku Presidency that will keep the North in power. For the sake of the South, vote TINUBU...he is the only one that can win Northern votes inspite of their plans to stop him. They know Tinubu will do so much for the South because the South is the revenue base of Nigeria. MrNotAgain: |
You miss the POINT. Every community investment comes from the Rich and wealthy, but it has to make sense. Given the reach of Starlink, you will have Rural investments because they don't have to wait for the govt to invest in infrastructures. You can train people to get on the internet and make money across the globe. You are focusing on what the average Nigerian makes now, but failed to look at the potential that this can bring to every nook and cranny. One person can install it, and provide access to millions. Over time, the cost of doing businesses will reduce with more competitors. In Nigeria you still pay more for DATA than most people abroad, but guess what, the need and effectiveness drives people to pay for it. This is an amazing news and we need to learn to focus on the positives. You don't plan to stay POOR forever, so start seeing yourself beyond poverty mentality. Victorclean1: |
