Oshiomole is the structure we talked about. Jungle will mature Feb 2023... Looking forward to Senator Oshiomole Senator Umahi Senator Ayade and so on. |
We had GEJ...Bombs were worse and you think Peter Obi is smarter than GEJ. The same way GEJ looked handicapped...Peter Obi will be talking to the walls in the North. You think Christians will be protected under PO? It will be worse because those extremists will want to box PO as a Christian President. The strength of Tinubu/Shettima is their religion. They will be killing the extremists and at the same time showing up to mosques to pray. People won't or can't accuse them of trying to kill Muslims. In addition, he is the JAGABAN of Borgu. Already saying he wants every states to list publicly how lands can be acquired...when things are transparent and open, ease of business will follow and Northern Christians will benefit the most because Tinubu would not want to be seen as a Muslim President ignoring the Christians. Buhari didn't ignore either...some weapons just came in very late due to men like Kukkah scaring US from selling us ammunitions. If you claim to be a Christian and have this much fear, you definitely haven't been to church for a while or read your Bible like Dogara Ofolete: |
Buhari governed at a very tough time..1 million plus Americans died....people are still catching Covid here. We had no foreign reserves to defend our currency and yet we got more infrastructures In 7+ yrs than at any 8yrs of any administration in the history of Nigeria. Nigerians paid UK Universities over 2 billion pounds this year alone...and yet we say it's Buhari. States and LGAs get the lion share or close to half...what did they do with it? We can see what the Feds did. Buhari even bailed states out so they can keep paying salaries. We just have uninformed electorates that focus on bag of rice...ask Americans about food inflation. Eggs that used to cost $4.99 organic now cost like $12.99. Ask those in the UK...and definitely ask Ghanians and South Africans...this is a tough time, a very tough time. MasterTeeUSA: |
Tinubu Presidency is the least chaotic. Trust me Yoruba Nation agitators under Peter Obi will be worse than those calling for Biafra. Peter Obi will be running to Chiefs and Ndigbos for help...even they won't be able to do anything. Tinubu has demonstrated in Lagos he can work with everyone...someone just dropped a court case in Cross River because Tinubu openly pleaded with him and he called it a very humbling experience and withdraw his court challenge against the APC Guber Candidate. Tinubu went into exile for democracy...he is the ONE most capable of keeping Nigeria unified and I don't doubt it for one second. onuman: |
I think you meant to say liar. How did I lie or how am I lying? They are all waiting for a PO Presidency so they can force many things. Obasanjo could careless...he will die soon and leave us with the mess of greater agitations for referendum. Nigeria is GREATER Together. broadman20: |
Not true...they just gave a multi billion contract to folks in Niger Delta. Do you think with GEJ...all those stealing of crude oil stopped? Maybe you didn't watch the news but I saw guys in mask still, oil bunkering and so on. If you really think voting Peter Obi will stop sit at home, I have a bridge to sell you. They are already telling him to shut up because some matters are beyond him. You really believe the average SE will be so happy they will stop sitting at home on Mondays. A man unable to break chains devastating its people right now will become a savior overnight. My fear is Peter Obi becoming Ortom-lite. Get to position and don't know what to do then blame the Fulanis. There are several interests in the SE and Peter Obi can't unify those interests because he does not have the antecedents and not part of the political apparatus. The man that could only trade away his Guber candidate in Rivers just to get votes for Presidency...if he can't stand up to a Gov, imagine Fed Executive Council with 36 Govs. I don't fool myself with tales and prose. Governance is hard having managed people myself...the proof is there to see. His current Gov don't even see him worthy enough for endorsement...imagine PO trying to compel Soludo. Atiku will try to use force because he won't be popular in the South...we don't need that North-South conflicts at all. Tinubu is the only one that makes sense to me. If only for Oshodi, I never believed in my lifetime it could be clean...Soludo met the same trash heaps when he took over Anambra. eobianke: |
I have challenged the so-called Yoruba Nation with questions like 1. Where would the border start and stop? 2. Will Igbos and other tribes need visa? 3. What will happen to a multi-ethnic extended family like ours...are the Igbos in my family expected to relocate? 4. Will Igbos in my family have a right to attain political offices in your so-called Yoruba land? They tried with the border question but failed...number 2 they were dumb-founded. Number 3 they said no they don't have to relocate and number 4 they said igbos and other tribes can be elected into offices...so then I asked...this is what we have in Lagos so what exactly are you then planning to change? All these folks just want to lead Yoruba for their own selfish interests...they are in USA-UK and irrelevant in the current Nigeria project. Their money is useless because if you ain't imbedded into the party, you can't buy your way anymore. These are the people clamoring for Peter Obi. If it's resource control I ask them...you are in the USA, which states or region controls natural resources here? They look stupid...even the water ways given to states in Nigeria is controlled by the Federal Govt in the USA. Control, Power and Self-Interests...don't be fooled. I am a Gen Sec. of a Yoruba Association, and they know I am very anti Yoruba-Nation..We need to detribalize not segregate. Sudan split up and South Sudan and North Sudan remain areas without peace. MasterTeeUSA: |
Afenifere made Peter Obi agree to back a referendum...something he can't do unilaterally. He has been unable to speak openly about IPOB/ESN. Even Obama knew he had to wade into controversial issues in the Black communities. Peter Obi is an amateur in politics. Those supporting him want chaos. They want to bring Nigeria to its knees. Buhari supports LG autonomy, Judicial autonomy and those amendments have passed...some of the states don't even support it. The last thing we want is Aisha Yusuf feeling entitled to demand this and that...yes we want a country that will work...but there have never been any African country in chaos that had ever worked. South Africa had to seek peace and healing...ask Liberia. We need a unified President not one that locked up the current Gov of Kaduna and told a particular ethnic group to get ID cards. Nigeria needs stability. Anything short of that won't work for anyone cos there's no place to migrate to around us...Niger Republic, Chad, Benin, Ghana, Cameroun...they can't accommodate us. MasterTeeUSA: |
I am a Doctoral student.with Igbos and Edo in my family. I am devoid of tribal sentiments. My first choice was Rotimi Amaechi though it would have been tough to pick him cos he is not even guaranteed to win Rivers State. I love Umahi and Ayade but they came late to APC. I believe in APC capacity to govern. We had PDP/Peter Obi for 16yrs....we couldnt get all these infrastructures like the one at Kogi yesterday. Ykc2: |
He deserves to be where he is...exposed for being a tribalistic man that longs for Power...everything he is about is not what Jesus would do. All the anger and hatred from Dogara is not of God. Ttalk: |
As a Christian, for competence, equity, and for one Nigeria, I am fully BATIFIED. Those supporting Peter Obi, including Afenifere, want to force a referendum. If he wins and changes his mind, they will create chaos...if he pushes for a referendum, he will be going against the norm. We cannot experiment with the Presidency. He won't be able to get anything past the Senate or Reps. They will create problems to force a referendum. They don't care about Peter Obi or South-East Presidency. They see him as the least powerful to challenge their appetite for referendum. They know Constitution ammendmends will fail..Tinubu and Atiku are no pushover. Listen to them, their support is only because they want to compel. The goal is not Nigeria but selfish interests. |

Wednesday, December 28th, 2022 at 10:11 PM By Enioluwa Adeniyi/Tayo Elegbede The death of the President of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, George Obiozor has been confirmed. The development was confirmed in a statement released by the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma. The statement released by Uzodinma on Wednesday night was titled, ‘Imo State Government Obituary Announcement’ The statement reads, “On behalf of the government and people of Imo state, I, Sen Hope Uzodimma, the Executive Governor of Imo state, sorrowfully announce the passage of a great Son of Imo state and Nigeria, the President General of ohanaeze Ndigbo, worldwide, Prof George OBIOZOR. “A renowned academic, an exceptional diplomat and statesman and a tenacious patriot, Prof George Obiozor passed on recently after a brief illness. “The death of this foremost Igbo leader and former NIGERIA’S ambassador to the United States and the State of Israel is a big loss to Imo state, the South East and entire Nigeria. I have no doubt that both Nigeria and the international community will miss his profound intellectual contributions and wise counsel on national and global issues. “May his great and gentle soul rest in peace.” The Imo State Government disclosed that the burial arrangement of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo president will be announced in due course by the family. The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has come out to clarify the rumoured death of its President-General, Prof George Obiozor. Naija News reports that speculations of his death have been making the round since Boxing day when it was rumoured that the Obiozor, an octogenarian had reportedly died from a heart-related illness. However in a brief clarification to deny the rumours and reports of his death, the spokesman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Dr Alex Ogbonnia told The Nation that Obiozor is not dead. Naija News learnt that different speculations have continued to trail the purported death of the Obiozor. It was gathered that a chieftain of Ohanaeze who spoke to DAILY POST on Wednesday claimed Obiozor died on Monday, December 26, 2022, but his death is yet to be made public. The source said: “The man is dead but it’s not in our tradition to announce such death even when we have such information, we allow the family members to make such an announcement. “He died on Monday of heart-related disease. I’m not specific about where he died but he travelled abroad and returned to Lagos. “I was called in the early hours of December 26th that he died in the early hours.” However in what seems to be contrary to this, the group’s spokesman, Ogbonnia told The Nations that “Whatever I tell you is the truth and official. The man is alive. He is not dead.”

Try USA...you wont finish all the documentaries on YouTube. There are enough for you and the lifetime of your children sef. If you can also do better, get into governance...we too condemn Nigeria too much yerokunphilips: |
I was watching Channels TV and the so called expert said we can get bodycams. The Govt can never win. Its so easy to say buy bodycams...not all Police Depts in the US sef can fit body cams on all officers. A quick Google shows each bodyworn camera program cost $2445 per camera/officer....so 100,000 officers will cost $244.5m and mind you...with shipment abroad and all, it might cost close to $350m...@ N430...that is over N100billion - N150billion, so if we plan to do that for 200k officers, you are looking at N300b. For PO that wants to triple our police forces, let's just say close to a trillion to fit them with bodycams not to include ammunition, recruitment and training. It is so sad when we make issues look so simple when it's not so simple. I have just come to understand why the country is at the state it is. Majority of the people can't do simple Google research to separate the propaganda from what is truly real, measurable and feasible. |
Labour Party we will see if it will be like 3rd parties in the US. I usually vote for 3rd party individuals, but I do that as a protest vote because as advanced as the US is, people, vote only for two parties - Democrats and Republicans. Why is that? 1. KNOWN DEVIL vs UNKNOWN ANGEL - People tend to go with the party they know or leaders of the parties they know instead of hoping to benefit from new leaders that have not demonstrated capacities. 2. POLITICS is Local - Some areas are just Democratic areas - Urban centers, LGBT communities, and so on...while some areas are Republicans - Evangelicals and Rural 3. SELF Interests - You have given so much to the party structures over the years, and you want to benefit from it, so you still to it. To switch parties, you get a consensus that still provides some sort of self-benefits. 4. RELEVANCY - Even if you don't win with BIG parties, you and the party will still remain relevant. Small parties often fade away if they don't win. 5. FUNDING - Small parties just cannot match the donations and spending of big parties that can mobilize from top to bottom. US Reps and Senators spend a lot of their time raising funds to provide to organizations. 6. SPOILER Vote - Some have voted for 3rd parties in the past, and allowed oppositions to win, so even if they dislike their party, they stick to it because allowing the opposition to win is WORSE if you throw away your votes. We will see if LABOUR Party can BUCK all these trends. I doubt it because the most popular guys (structures) in all the communities want to stay relevant and they have aligned with the 2 major parties. By end of February, we will see if this election will truly be an exception to the rule. |
Dont mind the STUDIO JOURNALISTS AriseNews. They will be shocked. In Zamfara, APC will get about 70% ItsTutsi: |
15 Million Euros is NONSENSE money given how much SHELL made and the level of devastation. Let them use that money to hire contractors to clean up their own mess. NONSENSE Judgment that they cant pass out in the West. What about the long-term health implications? postbox: |
Dad, I am being abused by my husband. He beats me and abuses me emotionally. You: I will only take you seriously if you file for divorce. Meaning, if she does not file for divorce, she is not being abused. That is how you sound when you minimize the suffering or discount people's experiences. It is so sad. It is best sometimes to just read and not comment. OldNairalander: |

I did not make references to any country so maybe you meant to reply to another thread cos your response does not align with what I wrote at all.

|
This is definitely an inside job. They knew he was coming home. They knew he had no security guards. They were waiting for him. So Zaria is safer than ANAMBRA. Yet, Peter Obi wants to secure Nigeria for all of us. If you believe him, I have a BRIDGE under River Niger that will take you to America that I want to sell to you for N200. Even those that claim to be in mourning are waiting to be paid. Before you BLAME the APC govt for the suffering of the people that led to this, it is important to ask...would you have done the same even if you don't have enough? If the answer is NO, then it's not an external factor but an internal conviction of evil that led to this. |
It's hard to even respond to you because you make no sense...I think you meant to say that it is not coming from your master cos I don't have slaves. If you read my opinion again, I came up with the idea during the GEJ regime, not during Buhari Administration. I don't look at issue of Nigeria under an ethnic lens or APC/PDP...I focus on governance and the approach to governance. I will advise some of you to take some Leadership courses. I will shape your outlook on things. 5starMan: |
I disagree with continuous stay of people at IDPs, but some parameters have to be met before you relocate people and this is the norm worldwide. Check war fronts in many countries. I have a friend from Liberia and he shared his experience during the Liberia War...some of them had to endure for years. If Peter Obi is saying I will relocate...how and what is the timeline? You will need the cooperation of the Govs, lands, and housing, people might need to give up their ancestral lands or be able and willing to recruit, train, arm, and monitor security infrastructures. How many heads do we even have in the military that can train 3X the sizes of our police forces? Training means more weapons, bullets, and ammunition which have to be contracted out and it takes months for that alone to be fulfilled. It is just easy and cheap talk...and we wonder why we are always disappointed because we minimize big issues and expect miracles like manna from heaven. Taich: |
Then you will be smarter than United Nation that over many decades have established similar camps to first protect people before relocating them. It is not ideal but its a cheaper alternative that saves more lives. Of course, there might be attacks on IDPs, but it is still easier to secure IDPs than people scattered everywhere within communities. If you cannot guarantee their safety, I still think IDPs still make sense. You don't have to agree with my argument. Insulting me that my ideas lack deep thoughts says a lot about you more so than me. We should be able to make points, counter and debunk without insults. I am not sure why we have gotten this low as humans. Trustyourself: |
It is not flawed because the argument is that we need state and local policing so they won't be receiving orders from Abuja...so how can a National police commission monitor a doubling or tripling of our police force. You think western countries use National Police to supervise city polities and county police...the answer is ABSOLUTELY NO and I know what I am talking about. mrvitalis: |
The problem with all the things you mentioned is that they are not realistic. If I ask you what is the border line between Niger Republic and Nigeria alone, you probably do not know. When you think of a difficult problem as so simple, that is a test that you wont lead well. Now let me debunk all your arguments. 1. Purge the military...HOW? We dont run a military or dictatorial system of governance so explain that. 2. In employing mercenaries..I will advice you to look into Mali and Francophone countries that have used the French troops for a while. Where are they now? 3.Border protection is part of my leveling villages and creating militarized zones...if you dont relocate people, how can you tell the locals from the enemies...they all dress alike 4. Investors will never come into a system that is unpredictable with increased chances of failure. Feel free to defend your positions. otipoju: |
Again, it all sounds nice but most oppositions cannot even trust the State Govs not to talk of the Local Govts. If the LGAs do not have autonomy, they will be under the direction of the Govs. You mention Western societies, and I can speak to that. Mayors have their degrees of autonomy, and their own policing and they have civilian boards and organizations that check for police misconduct...and still, there is widespread discrimination against blacks and minorities in the so-called Western societies not to talk of Nigeria. I like when we have informed discussions and debates like this, so I appreciate you for engaging. In terms of the agricultural sector, mechanized farming is the key to producing food on the large scale not relocating thousands of people back to clashes with the hope that things will be resolved. If there is a miscalculation on the part of the Govt, people will forget it was once a good idea and blame the Govt. Relocate people away from conflict areas, mechanize agriculture that will need very few people and very few police/soldiers to protect, create militarized zones and shoot to kill. We are playing with danger by electing leaders that say what people want to hear even when to some of us, it makes absolutely no sense. greenermodels: |
Many months ago, years ago, I had wondered during GEJ why people kept dying without any viable solutions. In my own little analysis, I came up with a suggestion I had wanted to pen in an article, remove everyone from the outskirts of towns and villages, relocate them until you can guarantee their safety...they go after the criminals. By so doing, you prevent lots of collateral damage and keep people safe. As a matter of fact, I felt the govt should condemn some areas, level the villages, and create militarized zones that if anyone crosses, shoot to kill. To prevent an inter-village crisis, I felt this idea would work as well. Years later, govt created the IDPs to allow for relocations. After many years, those in Borno State are finally being relocated back to areas built by the Govt with safety and protection among the conclaves. The issue I have with people like Peter Obi is...they don't think about issues deeply and just run about saying what should be done or not be done. If he becomes the President and relocates all these people, it would cost more to keep them safe and someone like him will be reluctant to create IDPs. It might seem like a great idea or make for Monday Morning Talk Show for folks that don't do research or think deeply, but when you look at the idea behind IDPs, it has kept lots of people safe. I do think the Govt should have very good schools, hospitals, and proper welfare within the IDPs, but closing them down without say ...recruiting soldiers, police, and security infrastructures and putting in place so many things is a recipe for disaster. Leaders do not think about what is popular, they do what is RIGHT. I pray we choose and vote wisely. Obama was a good example...he was less effective in solving lots of issues...even ObamaCare had to be saved from itself.

At the rate of 200 million NIGERIANS and $1 = N735, she is claiming that they have stolen over $200 billion. Buhari created a SINGLE TREASURY ACCOUNT that allows the Govt to track all expenses. The whole Economy of Nigeria is a little over $500 billion, so she is saying they have stolen 40%. Now, State Gov and LGs get about 48%, so if we remove that ...it means 40% of the remaining 52% was stolen....SORRY, she is LYING. Sadly, anyone can say anything these days and without a typical Nigerian just doing a simple google search to dispel this rumor, he or she will just believe and spread the fake news. People need to be arrested to give proof because this is the news that causes unrest. |
Make people just dey do transfer or POS payment...too much wahala sef for cash transactions and fake notes/ignorant people |
