I am not a party guy...I do believe that APC has more technocrats that can govern the country better. AMI3: |
The Governorship candidate at Benue is very strong and has a very good reputation which helps APC. This is why Tinubu can't make promises to the G5. Oyo State is all Tinubu and the Governorship candidate is strong too...but Makinde will probably win...last election he won by less than 5000 votes or so. If Tinubu wins and the Oyo State APC choose to work together, they can remove Makinde. Rivers...Wike has 200,000 people he hired that are loyal with one simple mission.. punish Atiku. He will want Tinubu in order to prevent an Atiku administration corruption vendetta plot. This is an election for the ages. Tinubu or Atiku will have to retire after this election or BOTH. dre11: |
He is returning back to PDP...no new news here. Most of these guys don't have any major electoral values. APC have lots of people running for Office...and they need APC to win at the top level for them to stand a chance at Senate and Reps. zicoraads: |
SPORTS NFL OBITUARY FOOTBALL Nwaneri, who started a popular YouTube channel after retiring, was found dead in his wife's Indiana home. Officials believe he died of a heart attack. By Marco Margaritoff Jan 3, 2023, 10:02 AM EST Uche Nwaneri joined Purdue University's Boilermakers before being drafted into the NFL by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2007. Uche Nwaneri joined Purdue University's Boilermakers before being drafted into the NFL by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2007. Uche Nwaneri, a former offensive guard for the Jacksonville Jaguars, has died. He was 38. Nwaneri died at his wife’s house in West Lafayette, Indiana, on Friday, the Lafayette Journal & Courier reported, citing the West Lafayette Police Department and Tippecanoe County Coroner Carrie Costello. Nwaneri had reportedly driven from Georgia to see his wife for New Year’s Eve — but collapsed early Friday. Costello said Nwaneri’s wife found him unresponsive in one of the bedrooms around 1 a.m. Friday and called 911. An autopsy Monday showed no signs of foul play and suggested Nwaneri died of a heart attack, though his toxicology results are pending. He “played 7 seasons with the @Jaguars, 2007-2013, and forged a strong bond with the Jags fans that’s remained to this day,” tweeted Jaguars owner Tony Khan. “On behalf of the Jaguars organization and my family, our thoughts are with Uche’s family + friends at this terrible time.” Nwaneri’s parents moved to the U.S. from Nigeria in 1973, per People. They named him Uchechukwu, which means “God’s wish” in their native language, when he was born in Dallas in 1984. Nwaneri joined the Boilermakers football team at Purdue University in West Lafayette in 2003. He was suspended for the 2005 fall semester after breaking his teammate Ryan Noblet’s jaw in a fight at practice in July 2005. Nwaneri returned to the team in the spring of 2006 and concluded his Boilermaker run with a final season — after which the NFL came calling. Selected by the Jaguars in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL draft, Nwaneri played with the team for 104 games and had 92 starts, according to NBC Sports. He was released after the 2013 season and joined the Dallas Cowboys in 2014, but was ultimately cut within months. Nwaneri forged ahead with a popular YouTube channel, “The Observant Lineman,” which has more than 35,000 subscribers. He and other former football players would regularly discuss recent games and punt arguments back and forth in the videos. Many former teammates and journalists shared condolences about Nwaneri’s death, including Boilermakers teammate Noblet, who told the Journal & Courier, “I am sorry to hear of his passing,” “Uche was a great person,” Jordan Woy, his former agent, told Fan Nation. “He was a very interesting person and had deep, valued and informative thoughts on sports, politics and life.”

Fear mongering. It is the same Adebanjo that is clamoring for a referendum to break up Nigeria or like they always claim...to provide for resource control that is telling us voting for someone else will put us in trouble. Baba, you are too old to decide our future. Obasanjo was NOT the South West President. Its like saying because the Northerners ruled Nigeria for x number of years, no Northerners should rule till the Southerners have ruled. What kind of idiotic thinking is this? Don't be fooled. These old men have their own agendas and it is not NIGERIA agenda. AntiTerrorist: |
As a Yoruba Christian, OBASANJO just needs to GO AWAY for many reasons. 1. https://saharareporters.com/2021/12/14/obasanjo-not-innocent-murder-former-attorney-general-bola-ige-%E2%80%93-afenifere-leader-adebanjo He must clarify what happened to Bola Ige and why was he assassinated. 2. https://www.dw.com/en/nigeria-looks-back-on-20-years-of-sharia-law-in-the-north/a-51010292 Obasanjo was warned about Sharia Law that started under him. He ignored and that led to the Boko Haram issues we face today. 3.https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/284696-why-we-closed-obasanjo-farms-official.html He is just as corrupt and most Nigerians are ignorant of this. 4.https://www.nairaland.com/4481717/obasanjo-ota-farm-staff-been#67182821 - Ota Farm Staff on Government Payroll stopped by Buhari 5. Established since 1978, Obasanjo’s farm has been producing fresh agricultural products for almost 30 years. According to Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Special Assistant to the President on Public Communications and now the Minister supervising the Aviation ministry, the President’s farm makes an average of N30 million a month or N360 million per year. Obasanjo’s desire to be the richest farmer in the country is not in doubt. His government banned the importation of “grandparent stocks,” a variety of chickens, so much that his farm has the sole franchise for them. Obasanjo is the only one with authority to import and sell them to other poultry farmers in the country. When he became President in 1999, Obasanjo could only boast of farms in Eruwa, Ota and the nondescript one on the Mambilla. By 2007, however, he has developed farms in Ibadan, Iseyin, Lanlate, Igbo Ora and Ibogun, each of which boasts many Chinese experts. https://saharareporters.com/2007/05/29/cover-story-amazing-wealth-obj-thenews Enough for TODAY. |
Nope...auction materials used for stolen crude...so they can reuse them again for stolen crude? BURN THEM ALL...let the INVESTORS watch them burn. God bless our military officers. Moh247: |
Christians that condemn....makes us wonder but then again in a country with uneducated graduates, no doubt we will have "men of God" who would have condemned Christ that made Saul become Paul. The support of a Muslim-Muslim ticket is just not a simple endorsement, it is a testament to being a true Christian that in spite of our differences, love lives here. iSense247: |
Let me SHOCK you...people like TINUBU just want to leave a LEGACY. He has one of the most expensive house in Lagos. He is RICH from stocks and investments. Why did he create a template for LAGOS and provided the same for KANO...he wants to create a LEGACY as being a part of a New Nigeria. You will be shocked after 1st term where Nigeria would be under TINUBU. They will be working at WARP Speed. Power Generation by States will be highly promoted and you will see a lot of 2030 plan happen even at faster pace. Those around Obi are desperate politicians that cant get a PDP or APC ticket...you can already see all the corruption stories in many states. Vote wisely. A4alpha: |
Lies...lots of Christians are going to vote APC even smart intellectuals and technocrats. Stop spreading lies. AMI3: |
You asked how Tinubu will be different from the present administration and I listed all the things that he has mentioned that he planned to do mentioned in townhalls and business meetings already made available online Bro. I did not post advert. A4alpha: |
This is part of what the West does. College shouldn't be cheap. If you are paying for it, you will take it more serious in my opinion. Parents will also hold the students more accountable. Rarely will you hear kids paying close to N1m doing nonsense in school anyhow. Monthly payments, discount if you can get a certain CGPA and discounts for children of workers so If parents are cleaners at the school, their children should get some tuition off. Same with petrol...I don't know why petrol at Lekki will cost the same as Ikorodu...cost of doing businesses are not the same. Naija needs to allow some regulated free market because this subsidy only favors the very Rich and widens the gap. You can't be Rich and be paying chicken chumps at UniLag. what justice is that and the Govt is pumping money into UniLag for all of them...Rich and poor...chai adenigga: |
Trains are very expensive but it's a good idea. We have these stripes on the highway here. If you sleep off and drift...it will create a lot of noise with the tires before you drive off the highway. We need checkpoints, more roadworthy intracity buses and even cable railways for short distances. Weirdcamila: |
Stuff like this ...people need to sue you all and the courts will charge you such that you have to declare bankruptcy. This is the kind of nonsense conspiracy talks that is not allowed in the West. okosodo: |
THE NATION UNDER TINUBU --- JUST CREDITS ALONE AND STUDENT LOANS WILL CHANGE THE NATION IF DONE WELL. 1. Commodities trading 2. Credits and Credit ratings 3. Manufacturing 4. Expansion of tax base 5. Removal of subsidy 6. Land acquisition normalization across the states 7. Single Forex exchange 8. Expansion of police and state police 9. Continuation of Gas pipeline 10. Investment in Education (Autonomy) and investment in Health Care among others. myoddsng: |

NPP who? All these splinter groups created less than 1 year to influence the electorates with their worthless endorsements lol iSense247: |
Triplets in this economy? Oga o I worry more for the children...we need to have kids we can take care of for the sake of the country o HAPPY NEW YEAR AngelGabbyShara: |
Obasanjo talks too much. It is amazing to note that he begged to run for a 2nd term going on his knees. A man desperate to hold on to power now questions why someone else wants to be President. He will be alright. TINUBU is a done deal. Making another donation to Bless mi campaign...the man that has yet to explain how he acquired his Otta farms is preaching to us. He picked Atiku and also told us that was his worst decision ever...clearly he does not have the competence to make informed decisions. NwaNimo1: |
Who told you my life ambition is to be a Senator? I am happy leading my NGO and making a difference in my own way. Those running for public offices are wired for that. I will come out as being too proud for calling out my Naija people and the media that believe more in conspiracies, innuendo, lies and fake news. aspher: |
GEJ administration...arguably the most corrupt. He was a good man but he needed people to stay President and made concessions that allowed people to loot. That is the fear I have with Obi. List all the things GEJ did and let's compare with Buhari. Insulting me won't get you no where, and I have never benefitted one dime from ANY administration. alimiadedayo1: |
I am Yoruba...where did I say I was from Rivers? I said my first choice at the APC primary was Amaechi but he would have lost Rivers State which made him vulnerable to be the party's candidate. I will say it again that given what went on in the World and not even 100,000 Nigerians died of Covid-19...that alone is enough to rank Buhari high. Then we can look at the airports, the trains (I am always happy when my friends share their Lagos-Ibadan on trains now), the waterways...we forget that and the pirates...the airforce and the roads. Do you know we have Elite military guys now trained abroad under Buhari? There are so many things yall don't know so let'seave it at that. God Bless Buhari and the Fed Republic of Nigeria. I am not praising him because I am Yoruba or for Tinubu. Tinubu was not my first choice...but he is better than Atiku or PO and Kwankwaso is too regional. Ykc2: |
Here they come again from abroad...if you ain't living in Nigeria, why bring chaos to it for those managing to live in it. Ecstasy154: |
Tinubu learned from Obasanjo....pick someone that is loyal not someone that fits a narrative. If Tinubu had picked Babachir or Dogara, they would probably be leaking information to Atiku by now. Wisdom is profitable to direct ejimatic: |
You can't be done with me...you said Buhari didn't support Innoson...I debunked it. Buhari also completed the Niger Bridge. They have also done concession on the ports. The mistake you make and fail to realize is that the Fed Govt can't just invade SE States and start doing what they want. Most of your people hate Buhari and don't want him to succeed...did they claim that they pushed for this and that and were denied? Is he supposed to beg you to install infrastructures. SE Govs that worked on Fed Projects were reimbursed. Buhari is not your problem...it's your own people. Sit at home on Mondays doesn't help and blaming the Govt everytime they kill SE terrorists make things difficult. At least in the North, no one is shouting that Buhari wants to wipe our people off. Go and study what your folks have been saying...and for all the projects he has done, be grateful and give thanks. GEJ didn't do as much as a South South Christian President Ykc2: |
First, it is not true that Innoson is not being supported by the Fed Govt...this is another lie not verified. Look it up and two, we have 36 Govs that collect 48%, how many of them bought cars from Innoson? Is he actively lobbying them which he needs to do. The Fed Govt patronized the local cement companies, the local military vehicle manufactures, even Innoson https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/09/buhari-govt-gives-innoson-enormous-support-patronage-chukwuma/ Check the link ABOVE. The rail line focus was not in South East and we all know why. They kept vandalizing some that were there. Amaechi even wanted to do gauge rail. Instead of SE and SS supporting Buhari, they didnt vote for him and made him the enemy, so it would be a waste of time to count of them to deliver any project. Ayade and Umahi had to defect because according to them, PDP wanted them to keep working against the current administration. Look that up to. The $1 to N1 na beer parlor talk...in addition, you must have forgotten the devastating effects of Covid-19 that killed over 1 million Americans. With all the construction projects by Buhari and state Govs, they have provided close to and over 20 million jobs. Let me give you an example Niger Bridge 2 - You need to hire consultants, surveyors, Engineers - You need cements, truck drivers and off loaders and onloaders - You need sands, dredging - You need Bitumen, you need Steel rods - You need workers at the site - You need people selling foods to the workers - Then govt officials and so on...and that is one project. Just that one bridge probably provided close to 100,000 jobs and you can go on and on like that accross the country...or you think its the same people working in Kano, Kaduna, Lagos, Ebonyi, Cross River and so on. Ykc2: |
I know a Father that wrote a will and the children are still not following the letters of the Will. The Father made the first daughter and last son the executors, but she is stuck in US due to immigration and the 2 out of 3 brothers, one in UK and one in Lagos have taken over the properties including the youngest executor...so Will does not always do it. I told my Dad...record a voice note so we can always play what you want exactly and if possible assign your properties while you are alive or call a meeting to that effect after a certain age...it can be dangerous though cos the children with less can harm the living parents sha. May God help us all luwiizy: |
Maybe you don't follow the news but there was a protest in a state assembly by Local Govt recently...they said they wanted to vote down LGA autonomy. My point is...if it's not even easy cos if it was, it would have been done before Buhari...and even now, those ammendments are still moving like snail...now imagine a President with no Govs...you think it will be easier? I know how hard Democrats fought hard to retain the Senate in the USA...Nigerians don't understand the Legislative Branch Power...we are still novice. My prayer is that APC win with Tinubu and capture more states so they won't be working against the Presidency. Delta, Abia and all should have made leaps by now under Buhari. They wanted him to fail and this is why Umahi, Ayade defected and they said it themselves Fujiyama: |
If you only focus on the bag of rice and forex, you will say NO to APC but someone like me...I look at fundamentals. Do you know we are producing our own medicine now? We are producing our own rice and have started bagging them for export? Do you know we have signed MoU for car assembling plants in Nigeria? Do you know Siemens have started working on distribution? Do you know Govt had to contend with bad Atiku contracts in court and now Ajaokuta is free? If you know all what the Govt has done in 7yrs, you will bless the Lord for Buhari. I just highlighted a tiny bit. Ykc2: |
You allow anger and hatred to devour. This is why I love Oshinbajo and Amaechi...they just keep cool. If Dogara had been patient, he would have had some concessions...but Atiku got him a deal he couldn't pass off. Babachir Lawal too...birds of the same feather...they will all retire to their villages come Feb. highchief1: |
