PoliticsRe: It’s Shameful That People Rally Against Subsidy And Not Boko Haram -Oritsejafor by mastro: 8:30am On Jan 15, 2012
I score Pastor Ayo 100% for this piece.
Shame on southern governors for not insisting on an end to the madness of "marginalization" and "murder" of their citizens in the north.
Shame on failed politicians for taking advantage of the situation.
I score him 0% or F, the man is making an idiotic argument.

How are we supposed to rally against an illegal terrorist group, the point of protests is to force a change in policy from the govt we elected. Even if the whole country were to hit the streets the terrorists will not change their ways (that's why they are terrorists  grin )

LIES DAMM LIES

This is a lie, if it isn't provide proof, I presume you or the person that told you this has a camera on their phone so take a picture or 2 and post here.

Why must every debate in this country come down to tribe, If Mr Yoruba is stealing money the  defence that when Mrs Hausa was there she stole also is a non defence, this whole subsidy debate is not an ethnic thing even though some of you are trying to make it one.

Dude with the best will in the world, 2 people does not a protest make, in fact if anything it opens you to ridicule, like the preachers running around the streets preaching the end of the world.

If you seriously believe this is a problem then approach it seriously

where will the 1.3 Trillion for KOLADE come from? I don't see subsidy in this budget  or are we going to borrow another 1.3 Trillion for KOLADE?
We will borrow it, then distribute it among the rich in form of contracts that won't be done.

It depends,

IF you are a paid lackey of the govt who does nothing other than make noise in Nairaland then FAILURE

IF on the other hand you actually left your Face-me-I-face-you room to walk the street of our nation then, MASSIVE MASSIVE SUCCESS, as the country was effectively shutdown.

AutosRe: Beware Of The Fraudster Parading Himself As Osaro Williams Living In London by mastro: 9:17am On Jan 06, 2012
@ Fixed, nice observation. Before I read down to your post,  I was wondering how Uboma got his banking details.  Anyway it's good the fraudster was exposed, nevertheless, his fundamental banking rights have been infringed upon.I guess this could get him a reduced jail term (lol).

@ Sienna, I've been observing you for some time now. You know you are in the NL limelight. Your issue is that sometimes you get "overly objective" and it's no wonder you get easily misunderstood. A lot of times, I do not believe you bother too much about tact when posting (I'm not particularly referring to this topic, but it's a good example). I imagine you as the type of hunter who sees a bird, aims and fires: no waste of time. Realise that someone may be up that tree plucking fruits. When you miss, you may hit him. My regards.  ( Meanwhile, e be like say you be prof. EVERY TIME, my perception of your analytic stance is one of someone doing a research project . Plus, it will do you good to ignore a lot of responses to your posts. You know what they say about arguing with a mad man. One may mistake you for the mad person)
My 5 kobo's worth,

SIENA is a very straightforward person and much liked here, which is why he is consistently our poster of the year, IMO he does however make the oyingbo mistake of trying to hear both sides of the story and weighting up the evidence, mistake you say, how is that a mistake, well those of us who live and work in Naija have learnt to our detriment that giving our people the benefit of the doubt is a big big no no, they will disappoint you and take you for a fool, for some reason our culture has dispersed with any sense of morals and this is even more prevalent on the internet.

Oh and going back over the last couple of years most of the posters subjected to name and shame on here have proved to be dishonest, from German 007 working backwards, who can forget PT consult, basically there is a mix of outright fraudsters, chancers and bad luck stories, all of which lead to people being out of pocket. It's one of the reasons we have https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-794323.0.html which a lot of the "so called" dealers on here refuse to subscribe to.

I here below wish to apologise,

my misguided advice that Diesel cars were not practical on cost grounds did not take into account that we would elect a leader who would feel that punishing the masses is a good way to govern, how was I to know that the idiots in charge do not care about the multiplier effect of increasing the only benefit govt provides to most Nigerians angry
Car TalkRe: How To Know A Stolen Car When U See It by mastro: 11:37am On Dec 29, 2011
ignore them grin

Really the same checks you would make when buying any car, do all the documents tally, by name and condition, check VIN No with docs.

Does the seller look like the kind of person who would own the kind of car, if a dealer do they have premises, basically can you track down the seller if something does go wrong.

"cheap article de run belle" is a true saying, if it's too good to be true then it usually is.
Car TalkRe: Audi Q7 S-line 4,2 V8 FSI Versus Volkswagen Touareg R50 5,0 V10 TDI? by mastro: 11:28am On Dec 29, 2011

^^^ The Volkswagen Touareg does have a 7-seat option, the rearmost pair are removable to increase luggage space, if required.

The Q7 is pretty special - not as common as the Touareg, and exudes pure class.

The residual factor isn't part of my criteria in choosing a vehicle - if I like it, I'll buy, I'm not really concerned with what it'll be worth come time to sell.

The Audi Q7 6,0 V12 TDI is undoubtedly the pick of the range, with price being my drawback. Brand new with all options added, it's the thick end of £90,000. OTR price is actually £96,000 excluding road fund licence and licence plates. It's pretty special - the V12 TDI is special order only, no dealership here keeps them on their forecourts.
I stand corrected

Are you looking at buying new?
Car TalkRe: Audi Q7 S-line 4,2 V8 FSI Versus Volkswagen Touareg R50 5,0 V10 TDI? by mastro: 11:01pm On Dec 27, 2011
well correct me if I'm wrong but the touareg doesn't have a 7 seater option, strike 1
Also the Audi being a premium brand cuts a better image, strike 2

Come resale time the Q7 will probably win out not withstanding the diesel in the VW, strike 3

Audi wins and a V12 Q7 is the daddy, go on you know you want to

It should be a two year tenure,

First Obasanjo. . . . He will delete all his enemies within the PDP. .(E.g Atiku and co)

Then the other two tenures should be Buhari (Pay-back time b'itches  grin).
