hmmm https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-779994.0.html Is it or isn't it the same car? Well refer to post 5 "back interior" and compare with http://www.viperautos.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=hu20m0ulsfn5l0ocspgq3nkcb2&topic=262.msg594#msg594 picture 3 What's that I see, oh the same paper on the floor!, So wind back the clock from 48,000 to 3,400 lie about the year of production, add N700,000 to the price, or does the poster want to show the VIN number so I can apologise. Na wa O!!!! when does he get banned ![]() |
Compared to the old interior, the 2011 is a massive leap in quality |
Hmm a smuggled in, 18 year old, Mercedes Benz 190E for $5000 You are having a laugh aren't you?? No really, I know country is hard, but dude anyone who can put together N800k surely has better options. |
I remember this, from the days when the scammers were stupid with a capital S, as to exactly what he/she was trying to achieve, only God knows, it's not like anyone interested in that kind of car would part with any cash before verifying, you don't get that rich without common sense. There were of course other scammers where the endings were not so good. |
when I refer to other Services, I mean NDLEA NAFDAC SON PQS SSS NVQS DNI Valuation Etc Etc Or for RORO do you not need all those clearances? |
So what next?Usually car gets cleared by customs and all the other services But as it's Inspired I personally expect him to magic the car out of the port instantly, Inspired over to you https://www.smileyvault.com/albums/emoticons/object/object-emoticon-0034.gif |

Re: Should I Dress In The Presence Of My Five Year Old DaughterWhat she said ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Work differently for every family, but my view is that unclothedness is not unnatural, the problem most people have is that they relate it directly to sex, if you can separate those two things then all this nonsense of men not bathing their 2 year old daughters would be considered exactly that, nonsense. Once a child starts school then of course social norms come into play so in the case of the OP and his 5 year old then there is no harm in keeping his towel on while putting on his pants especially if he is asking this question which means he feels somewhat uncomfortable with it, but sending your 5 year old out of your room because you want to get changed will IMO do her more harm. Also lets not forget that not everybody lives in a mansion with En-suite bathrooms, if you grew up in a face-me-I-face-you then these formal levels of privacy and modestly will make you laugh. |
Quote from: Ayowumie on Yesterday at 08:30:42 PMscarcasm It's true O, in fact it happened to a friend of a friend, other friend of the same friend died last week when he answered a phone call that had 5 digits. /scarcasm |
Vehicle engines are meant to run well at a certain temperature. It could be 80, 90 or 95 degree centigrate, depending on the engine. only when it warms at the operating temperature that longevity of the engine is ensured. What the fiddlers (can't call them mechanics) then do is cross wires so the fan is running all the time, which delays the engine reaching optimal running temperature, oh and as a added bonus kills the motor of the fan so engine overheats and because there is no indication, next thing is B ANG, but hey more work for them, Oga you need half engine, my brother for Ojurin has one |
^^^^^ Toyota Malu convertible 5 cowpower |
Hello GuysOK First thing, what is your budget? Do you want a full size SUV or are you willing to look at medium size ones? |
Haba my people, I live in Abuja, and that's as bad as it gets, even then give it 2-3 hours and it's dry again. Abuja has pretty good drainage by global standards, not to talk of Naija standards, floods are the least of our worries, we are too busy dodging bombs. ![]() mastro |
SCROLLAUTO for President, or banning Seems to me he has decided that at the worst his posts will be removed and he can do the same thing next week, until persistent offenders are banned this will keep happening |
I think it is rather imperative for us to not only to get our information straight, but also to separate the “wheat from the chaff” when it comes to estates and developers. Agreed there are lots of scrupulous companies and fraudsters with little or no pedigree in property development, parading themselves as “property developers” these days. These are people who are looking to make fast bucks by preying on innocent and unsuspecting victims. These elements are unfortunately not limited to the Mowe/Ofada axis alone. The truth be told, not all estates and developers in this axis are the same and I am talking as someone who has dealt with arguably one of the performing developers in this axis, SSA Realties limited, developers of the Nest, Organic City.Dude you have made 1 post, yet talk like a person who has been here for years, that doesn't mark you out as a credible source of information, two houses, a gatehouse and a fence does not an estate make, anyone who pays any of these developers money without going and seeing what is there themselves really has no cause to complain. |
It's been a month now, what action is going to be taken?? |
In a private demand and supply economy who determines a reasonable rent or increase there of? Oh and this is the same govt who are charging Millions for CofO "Commenting, Fashola said that the law would address the problem of housing as the state continued to explode in population" I thought our Governor went to school, that is the most silly statement I've ever heard him utter Could someone upload the full text of the law |
Much as I dislike the whole reality of what tithing has become, I really don't think it's the govt's business what individuals do with their money. Though if the churches were truely places of God they would be asking these questions themselves. ![]() What EFCC should do however is where people are convicted, as part of the asset recovery ask the churches to return stolen money (like that will ever happen) |
Was Fela an Icon? My 5 kobo Has the OP actually ever listened to a Fela song, has the OP ever been in a molue or been to a prosperity Church (suffering and smiling) Was the OP even born when Kalakuta was burnt down and stolen (unknown soldier), was he alive when Fela was sent to prison for doing nothing, (beast of no Nation) Is the OP a troll? Was Fela an icon, is the Pope Catholic. |
in the light of Quote from: dantitiki on Yesterday at 12:59:26 AMbearing in mind chuddy111why is he simply not banned? There is pushing it and taking the piss surely this is the latter, I suggest the Mods delete all his dup accounts and warn him that if he creates any more he will be banned, he is not adding anything positive to this forum and anyway who in their right mind would buy a car from such a dishonest"dealer" |
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/08/fg-to-refine-1m-bpd-of-petrol-by-2014-minister/And in other breaking news, by 2014 Nairaland's Market Capital will surpasses Google's for the first time. If wishes were horses beggars would ride, and I'd have 2 private jets |

Even if the minimum wage is implemented how many of them can afford 2 send 6 children 2 school buy enough provisions 4 them stay in descent accomodation just few of them that can syphoon money from other sources because they need 2 fuel their generator because of lack of power, visit d panel beatter often due 2 bad road, spend huge amount of money 2 fuel there car monthly due to high cost of fuel, part of this money stil goes kerosine and gas and so on and so onWord, |
Could I also suggest that as part of this process all "verified sellers should be mandated to state an asking price and provide a VIN number and picture for all their advertisements. I for one am sick of people saying call for VIN, call for price, call for picture etc, it just seems to me that if you are an honest seller with access to the car you should have no problem providing basic details, it's simply unprofessional and seeing that this registration process is a sanitising step I think this issue is relevent. Regards |
Maitama Abuja, average week they will take light for 4-5 hours during the day if that. it's so bad (good) that my generator battery died in Jan from lack of use ![]() mastro |
Every couple of years me and my brother talk about sourcing an immaculate one from France and smuggling it into Nigeria. |
Why are we acting like the Admin has a stake in the profit being made by the dealers and therefore he can be held responsible for deals that go wrong? That the admin has taken this steps is a big credit to him because the truth is, he doesn't have to least we forget Nairaland is not an online shopping site. People have been buying cars without the information that is being requested, which means they already have confidence. This next step is just to help boost their confidence level some more.Look at it this way, I take you to a car dealer, tell you he is honest and I've vetted him, then he takes your money and disappears, when you inform the police will they not arrest me as an accomplice? Any questions as to if I took a share of the money will come after the arrest. The least thing any of us want is for Seun and Nairaland to have any legal wahala for providing us with this forum, so what we are saying is that Nairaland need to cover themselves at each stage of this process. Finally it's better that all questions are asked and answered at this stage so a robust system of checks and balances can be built, rather than after things go wrong. mastro |
Inspired you probably also need to define what you consider a frequent seller for avoidance of doubt. Also a couple of other things
[li]Have you a mechanism in place for verifying the details provided[/li] [li]

You have thought this though and are aware that by vetting dealers Nairaland is opening itself to being sued by disgruntled buyers, in that by vetting and approving dealers you are opening Nairaland to being a party to the selling of said cars, now Seun could place disclaimers but methinks that it might be a good idea to run this past a decent lawyer. (apologies if you already have)[/li]
|
Repeat after me porsche cayenne, That is Porsche, Cayenne. It's written on the back of the car for goodness sake. O and some actual details wouldn't go amiss, Year, Mileage, VIN etc |
Are you disputing the fact that Nigerian banks are finding it hard to finance long term projects? Or is it the viability of one of the busiest roads in the country that's got them hesitant? It's the simple fact that once bitten twice shy, Why would they lend the guy money when he has defaulted on previous loans? https://www.proshareng.com/news/singleNews.php?id=12258 |
