My detailed and informed advice is simply buy a left hand drive car.

There IMO needs to be some protection for buyers who are putting down large sums of money, an escrow service of some sort, does anyone know of any bank or large Nigerian financial institution which offers this service? If the likes of GTBank offered this for a 2-3% fee (bearing in mind that they would also have use of the funds during the transaction)

I think most buyers would pay the premium, dealers would I guess prefer the cash in hand to transact with but to be candid if they don't have the capital then they shouldn't be in business.

hmm I beg to disagree, refunding money months after failing to deliver goods is not exactly "100% reliable" ditto offering deadline after deadline and not meeting them.

honest and 100% reliable would be delivering car in November 2010, it would be refunding the guys money as and when he claimed he would. This thread would not be 6 pages long if German007 was "too honest and 100% reliable".


We are all aware of at least one other long delayed car, now I quite understand that business is not easy, that sometimes things are beyond our control but calling him "100% reliable" is simply not true.

Glad that this saga ended on a good note. Moderator, pls lock this thread.

hmm not to sure about the staggered tyre look, prefer same profile all round, it just doesn't look quite right IMO, something about the way they fill the wheel arches differently, and my eyes preferring that if there is a difference the rear arches should be fuller.

The initial 24 days you gave yourself for a full refund expired on the 8th of March.

You pleaded I should give you one more week to pay the balance, I agreed and you didn't meet up.

After my post that day you sent me a mail that I should just wait again till 21st of March which was yesterday and you did not meet up again.

I don't really know what you want me to do again.Or you want this thing to drag up to the eight month.

While it is possible to repair a salvaged car to a safe road worthy standard, since you didn't know that the term meant I advise you not to buy the car in question as it's unlikely you have the necessary skill to inspect the repairs neither IMO do 99% of Nigerian mechanics
