Is it a crime to be rich in Nigeria? Even if the wealth of the country is redistributed equally to her inhabitants, the poor in spirit will still become poor and the rich at heart would end up richer than before. Taxing the rich out of envy will only leave the poor further impoverished because they will be paying the tax for the rich indirectly . What goes around, comes around. |
Is this supposed to be a sponsored post? NCC is yet to save us from dropped calls, poor interconnectivity between networks and horrendous voice quality Nigerians are subjected to in the name of making calls. The quality you get on Internet calls on Whatsapp etc is far out of the league of these network providers. |
He should henceforth take his health seriously. Sensitization on regular and scheduled screening examination should be embarked upon by the actors guild to catch early those at risk and effect prompt management of issues before they get to such stage. That's how Mr Ibu kept shouting he was poisoned "upanddown" until it turned out to be complications of poorly managed diabetes mellitus. |
How do you then grade the minister of interior Mr. Tunji-Ojo ? |
This is the only governor who does not know the power inherent in the "Red biro" he used. Even Ambode was not cowed into submission, he still did his "mind" at least during his tenure. |
So, where is the cost of freight we were told is responsible for the additional cost of imported petroleum products? The government is sensitizing and preparing our minds for another story again! |
Good move. The proliferation of such bodies at times are merely aimed at the subventions they get from the federal government. With self funding, there shall be more accountability of members levies and more efcc wahala for the excos that may want to misappropriate funds. Again, Good moves by the government. |
Very important question. Especially for those put at heights that are virtually impossible to reach for such activity to be carried out easily. Even with the use of water filters, some have become culture medium for algae while those without proper coverings and at near ground level have dead rodents, lizards and geckos in them while still serving as a source of water storage for home use. Some geepee tanks however wouldn't require washing since they serve as deposit money banks for illicit moneys hidden from Tinubu's executive order to be signed soon. |
Architectural, Master piece. Just hope the maintenance is also top notch. |
Great men before you have been consumed by it. Your death wouldn't even grace the front page of any of our dailies, "so why die on top of vanity"? |
Life Na turn -by -turn. It's always good to quit the stage when the ovation is loudest, any delay may result in chairs and stone been hurled at you. Respect is reciprocal |
I am not understanding Is it not these same Nigerian women that get to UK and start forming WOKE? Is it not a Nigerian lady that sponsored her lesbian lover across only to send her Nigerian husband into the streets some few days ago? |
The banks have proven to be complicit in causing us pain by also hoarding our deposits and not giving tangible interest on deposits but very callous in giving out loans at very high rates. Besides, the government has so impoverished us that we don't even have surplus to deposit in the banks. No one will take the risk of depositing his little change and not be able to get it out when badly needed. Executive order ki you dere |
Expected. He has proven his loyalty. |
They just confirmed our initial skepticism about the whole scheme. Alake was shouting himself hoarse that the scheme was well planned and the 5 transportation companies chosen were carried along. Is it now difficult to just say the truth as it is? Waiting to hear the billions earmarked for this ill-fated scheme. Fleece loading ............ |
Mens sana in Corpore sano Meaning Healthy mind in a healthy body |
Looks like a lone accident, over speeding more likely. |
So sad!! Is this how they want to start the year? His ID says he's a real estate consultant . |
The primary responsibility of government is to safe guard the lives and properties of her citizens. Shirking this responsibility is a call to anarchy. Military grade weapons in the hands of the masses will no doubt checkmate the marauders but we might end up with another catastrophe on our hands. The unintended consequence of liberalizing high velocity weapons may be grave. If the heads of military formations in areas of conflicts are routinely sacked and court martialed for dereliction of duty when such killings occur under their watch, they will sit up. |

Going green is the only way to go in order to mitigate the rising cost of electric tariff. I have gone 5 years 7 months exclusively off grid and the experience is rewarding. Just like op alluded, you can start small but make sure your charge controller [ mppt is better] can accommodate future scaling up by way of additional batteries and solar panels. Except you are adding batteries in parallel to your existing inverter, you may need change the inverter to accommodate additional batteries also. |
Politics of ethnic conclave. Wike has over reached himself on this one and he should perish any ambition of contesting for the number one office in future because Nigerians now know him better for who he is ; a JUDAS |
Bandits feeding fat on our solid minerals while you dabble into distractions from your core mandate and job description. Reeling out spurious and unsubstantiated statistics. Sycophancy at its peak |
Adorable baby. May you "follow after the will of God"and not the politicians doing their bidding around your birth |
Click bait Misleading headline |
With the cold, dry and dusty harmattan here, rain is not in our vocabulary at all |
EVs are seeing a decline in purchase lately because of the meagre mileage from a single charge and paucity of charging points in remote areas. Even Toyota has ditched the EV craze for hybrid cars. With over 1k kilometres on a single charge, the Chinese are really pushing the frontier in battery technology. |
DISCOS have always wanted high tariff without a commensurate improvement in efficient distribution by replacing aged and undersized transformers and large scale metering of consumers for objective costing of power consumed. Darkness costs more in Nigeria |
This is deep . WORDS don't heal, ACTIONS in the right direction brings HOPE that eventually HEALS |
Supremos:A 9.1 magnitude quake off northern Sumatra island on December 26th 2004 triggered the tsunami. The 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami killed more than 230,000 people in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand and nine other countries. |
Hmm! I'm sure we have a domestic foreign reserves bigger than our official foreign reserves going by the quantum of dollars in the hands of private citizens and outside the control of the apex bank. |
