Is the inverter fridge/freezer reliable?

A mighty yes

I have used the Lg inverter fridge/freezer for over 6 years now and I must confess, it's a big budget saver especially as I run my home off grid.

However, I recently added a Bona ac/DC chest freezer to my "green collections" and must say I found heaven.

The 118litre freezer consumes just 60watt/ hour of electricity.

I ran this freezer all night on my off grid system without dropping below 50% batter charge while using 2 qasa ac/dc 18' standing fans at the same time.

Initial cost of procurement may be prohibitive, but you save more on energy bills over time.

Bought the lg fridge/freezer then for 180K

I wish you would truly believe me. I could have mentioned the Major's name but that would not be nice. But the name of the GOC at the barracks at the time was Brigadier General Chukwu. Any corper or soldier who lived at Lemauck Cantonement between 2008 or 2009 reading this could confirm this. Corpers occupied 130 rooms in the barrack so we were quite many. I don't know about now.

The setting of your story is 100% true as I lived in that barracks between 1990 to 2006 as a barrack boy with my parents.

I am not an engineer but I may hazard a guess as one who has built a home.

Filling the voids in foundation CMU may be wrong especially when the top blocks are not sealed with the binding beam. The soil within these cavities especially laterite may expand and contract with the capillary effect of water and weaken the integrity of the foundation. ( Especially With our poor quality concrete blocks).
