CrimeRe: Olumide Ayeni's Corpse, Killed By Damilola Ayeni, His Wife In Lagos (Graphic) by matrixme(m): 12:24pm On Aug 06, 2018
Ishilove:
Lalasticlala, Seun, there has to be regulation on the depiction of corpses. What would the family members think if they are to log on to Nairaland one day and see the corpse of their beloved so boldly displayed without any recourse to their decency and dignity? Even if such rubbish is done on other blogs, Nairaland is not a blog and should set a standard, not stoop to the level of ignorant bloggers who don't know any better.

This is the first page I'm opening in Nairaland today and what do I see? The corpse of a victim of a violent crime. On a Monday morning!

As for you, Lautechgossip, I stopped modding years ago so please stop tagging me in all these kinds of posts!!!
you really hit the bull by the horn. There is no respect for the human corpse on the internet for Nigerians. In saner climes, you will never see such sensational images make mainstream news except for permissible reasons. Its barbaric, uncivilised and totally unethical, but anything goes in Nigeria
FamilyRe: "My Wife Wants To Bring Her 7-Year-Old Girl She Had Before We Met To My Home" by matrixme(m): 10:49pm On Aug 05, 2018
your own is even better. What if she had kept the child secret till after the wedding and you're just finding out about the whole plan of recent? Please man up and accept full responsibilities for the child. Afterall some people without children are adopting other people's own and living happy lives. A girl grows fast and before long, she will be out of your lives to marry and take care of her husband.
NYSCRe: Nine Corpers Drown In Taraba During Picnic By Riverside by matrixme(m): 6:41pm On Aug 05, 2018
how very sad. The loss of lives of corp members in this administration is something else. Before some people open their ugly mouths to protest against this comment, let them remember the many others who died due to extra-judicial policemen killings as well as a failed healthcare system at the camps. These are somebody's children/brothers/sisters too.

PoliticsRe: "Get Your PVCs" - Muric Tells Muslims by matrixme(m): 11:00pm On Aug 04, 2018
It's better that way. Let the Church vote, let the mosque vote. Let the traditionalists vote. Politics has always been about the game of numbers. May the best one win.
TravelRe: Passengers Rescued After Their Boat Capsized In Bonny, Rivers State. Photos by matrixme(m): 8:16pm On Aug 04, 2018
those guys that are shouting that waterways in Lagos are lying fallow will turn a blind eye to this now. In 2018, this is what still becomes of water transportation in Nigeria. A boat capsizing in midwater, daytime
PoliticsRe: Africa’s Fortunes Will Shape The World Says Osinbajo At Google For Nigeria Event by matrixme(m): 10:42pm On Jul 26, 2018
speech. Upon all these long talk, APC is the party that made payment of university graduates, #30,000 fashionable under one useless npower program, yet they are not sharing money carelessly like the opposition party. Even bus conductors earn more than that.
PoliticsRe: “Dear VP Osinbajo, The Parked Trucks You Ordered Off The Roads Are Still There” by matrixme(m): 12:59pm On Jul 26, 2018
somebody barking out an instruction from far away Abuja because of an unscheduled visit. How can that ever work out? Perhaps they should ask scientists to create a truck shrinking device and deploy it immediately so that the instruction can have a far reaching effect.
TravelRe: Water Transport In Lagos: The Great Potential by matrixme(m): 12:56pm On Jul 26, 2018
All these guys shouting water transportation in Lagos as vaa -vaa -voom have either not been to Lagos or operating from Google maps. If you have ever entered those rickety speed boats with incomplete lifejackets for passengers, then you won't long for another misadventure.
My sister told me of the day their speedboat broke down on water when she was carrying a baby for that matter. I have been on those severally from Ajah to Ikorodu and I don't exactly find it as exciting as it looks from the pictures.
Lagosians have a good reason to be fearful of water transportation.

useless agency. Always looking at.. or making plans for all their lives. their chickens never leave the egg stage all their existence. What about the What3words agreement they signed the other day? How close are they to implementation? They want to collaborate with banks to make address verification possible. What now happens to our NEPA bills? Now they are talking about financial inclusion. Is CBN not implementing SANEF to make financial inclusion mainstream as soon as possible?
PoliticsRe: 400 Public Servants Under Investigation Over Ownership Of Property In Abuja by matrixme(m): 7:52am On Jul 22, 2018
we must also include how the son of a poor President was able to afford a luxury power bike with which he cruises the empty, corruption acquired streets and houses in Abuja with. How many cows was sold? Show us the receipt. 2019 is almost upon us, these incompetent foo.ls are still fighting corruption.

CrimeRe: Kester Ehiwe Kidnapped And Killed In Edo. Photo by matrixme(m): 7:10am On Jul 12, 2018
Quite sad. But why did he choose to invest in a village in Edo State instead of the city where it is much safer? With all the stories he must have come across from the internet

Nonsense. These western media and their propaganda, I thought it used to be g.ay porn that topped the search a while back. How many slay girls know how to use Google, not to think of abortion pills? Rubbish!!! Next!

CrimeRe: Police Arrest 236 People In RCCG Redemption Camp by matrixme(m): 9:23am On Apr 20, 2018
It shows if you have any serious prayer concerns, better go to an isolated rock or an open field near you, rather than wasting your money to travel to some prayer city! You stand a chance to be arrested and even jailed if you do. Because how do you expect someone who was told he has months to live, or whose husband divorced her for example, to start strolling around Redemption camp in well ironed clothes and i.d card? Rather sad.
PoliticsRe: "Mr President, I Am Not Lazy" - Plateau Polytechnic Graduate Who Makes Snacks by matrixme(m): 9:10am On Apr 20, 2018
meanwhile, Where is Zahra Buhari and Dolapo Osibanjo doing their Npower? I never knew that Npower Auto now allow participants to test-run expensive power bikes after servicing, such that Ibrahim crashed the other day, I would have applied too...
Despite numerous government owned institutions all over the country, all offering their services for free. Free loans for enterpreneurs in every local government, someone even started Peacecorps, a youth volunteer agency which Buhari has approved, and a Lazy Nigerian youth like Chibuzo decides that he wants to use his energy for making delicious chin- chins and meatpies huh
PoliticsRe: Are Nigerian Youths Actually Lazy? by matrixme(m): 9:02am On Apr 20, 2018
somehow:
Jeez.. all these pass for creavitity? Even ants can do better lolz
Creativity is the act of turning new and imaginative ideas into reality. Creativity is characterised by the ability to perceive the world in new ways, to find hidden patterns, to make connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena, and to generate solutions.
Arranging groundnuts into pyramids rather than selling it conventionally is making connections. Washing cars in traffic is generating a solution.Besides, I used these as everyday examples. Can your ants sing songs that gets worldwide recognition in native languages? Next time, think, then type.
PoliticsRe: Are Nigerian Youths Actually Lazy? by matrixme(m): 8:16am On Apr 20, 2018
rusher14:
Some of us know you simply choose to be mischievious.

Did he say ALL youth of Nigeria are lazy?

Besides semantics, I put it to you, the Nigerian youth do not display enough creativity.

How much research, patents, world class artistic work would you find in our institutions?
Let me guess..that's government's fault.

Ok let's go to the number of our young people who have access to the internet. How many are involved in programming, animation, international research syndicates?

Let me guess...that's the government's fault.

Here on Nairaland, start a topic with a misleading headline and wait to find how many would spot the disconnect between the headline and the body of the message.

Let me guess... it's the government's fault.

The youth of Nigeria are lacking in creativity and please don't give me Nollywood and Afro music. It can take only a few entrants.

We need people who want to create and constantly think of solutions.

We need people who channel their energy positively and not in cult activities, Yahoo or drug use.

Talking about drugs, this poor nation is experiencing a new wave of drug abuse...tramadol, codeine, skunk etc.
That's what the nation is about.

Many Nigerians are of the misconception that the country is rich but the reality is that we aren't.

Yes we have the potential to be wealthy, but we are a poor nation in every way, shape or form.

It is your choice to accept the criticism.

You can go renegade and discount it.
It is your life, your future. Play it as you wish.
so you're blind enough to see creativity expressed in intangible ways by the Nigerian youths? Some hawkers take time to arrange their groundnuts into a pyramid before carying it on their head. Have you seen the dynamics and complexity of washing a car in traffic in order to make ends meet? In what other way do you want creativity expressed with so little government support? Perhaps you're one of those lazy, fat youths that got every comfort necessary for life from the government on a platter of Gold
PoliticsRe: Muslim Group Seek Withdrawal Of N100 Printed Under GEJ Because Of This. by matrixme(m): 6:45am On Apr 18, 2018
Did we notice that under Buhari's regime, there has been no single new 100 naira note in circulation? The witch cried at night, the child died in the morning. Who did not know that the midnight cry of the witch killed the child??
TravelRe: Lagos Blue Line Rail 95 % Completed, Says Commissioner by matrixme(m): 10:35pm On Apr 17, 2018
It was nice up to the point where he mentioned they are currently removing shipwrecks on the lagoon. They should check well, because they may well come across the Titanic. Perhaps this will be commissioned after Port Harcourt Monorail championed by the APC government. They should be using monorail projects to siphon public funds at the end of the day, causing problems for opposition.
PoliticsRe: Olufunke Kolawole Lake Resort, Abeere Commissioned By Rauf Aregbesola by matrixme(m): 10:22pm On Apr 17, 2018
Good. But all there is here are 3 large, aesthetic swimming pools, couple of houses, some good landscaping and indoor draft centre. Maybe it's like one of those children's book that you're asked to spot the missing item or so.

its's just not fair. They've been proferring solutions to the power problems of Nigeria since 1952 with nothing to show forth. There are more promising problems to deal with, so they could have made the competition theme more open.
