All these yeye codes, naso greed make me go press one to get more Airtel data the other day wey I go dash them a whole 1 month data credit. Uptill now I'm still cursing that guy. He must have been feeling the thing now ![]() |
Wey superfast affordable internet for 20 gig at #200? Edakun, epp me ask them, biko ![]() |
Oniyeye people. People are advocating for good governance these ones are here changing the name of their state. Why not change 'amala' to African raspberry pie? Alagalatia, iraanu!!! Next!!! |
I'll have said that (art has gone to the dogs these days. Every artist out there is now busy looking for the next celebrity to draw to gain unnecessary attention, which is very bad. Gone are those days when artists make art poetic and paint stuffs with deep meaning) but it's really not my business. |
The day this bitcoin of a thing will crash is coming.. I don't think after MMM, Nigerians should still be foolish enough to be carried away by global money doubling scams again. They say that the best way to double your money is to fold it in half and keep it in your wallet. |
We are experiencing severe fuel shortage back home and our president is saying away in Paris. One useless driver asked me to get down this morning when I protested that I was not the one that increased the fuel price. Meanwhile the one in charge is seeking for Instagram likes. Let's keep liking away! |
sinceraconcept:"Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." MALACHI 3:8-10; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Hebrews 7:2. As he looked up, Jesus saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. [2] He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. [3] "I tell you the truth," he said, "this poor widow has put in more than all the others. [4] All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on." Luke 21:1. Apparently the poor widow was tithing her 2 corper coins when Jesus saw her. So the principle of tithing for all Christians is a command (be ye American or Australian or Nigerian). 1/10 of all your increase belongs to God. It's not what Daddy Freeze can fight because it's way beyond him. |
sinceraconcept:Well, let's for the purpose of emphasis, Jesus once said that on the last day, many would approach him but He would turn them away, because He came to them disguised as a poor person, but He was turned away So any Christian that don't give to poor persons is actually shooting himself in the foot. So don't think the concept of zakat is exclusive to Muslims alone. We are still commanded to give tithes and offerings, so we may be giving more than you think |
sinceraconcept:Sit down in your narrow mindedness and be basking in ignorance. Many of your imams are avid Bible readers but don't have the stomach to share their thoughts with people like you. What I mean is that what you give only ends with you. Upon all the zakats given why are there still a lot of poor people around these days you need to ask yourself. Especially if they are supposed to be removed from poverty. |
Rather than sit down and put it's house in order, APC is still peddling corruption like a fart joke that gets less funnier and more annoying everytime. The new Zimbabwe president that was sworn in few weeks ago already have functioning cabinet members. We are almost in 2019 but our baba is still sending tweets with the hope that it encourages a farmer out there. We may be preparing for another fuel price hike again. Like play, like play, the thing will suddenly drop from your hands, let's watch and see. |
There is no point in fighting a battle you can't win. This daddy Freezer or whatever he calls himself should better go find a new hobby. You are trying to fight an organized system with light years ahead of your family history and you think it's funny. Do you know how many people smarter than the brightest person in your lineage that tithes and are happy about it? I even hear some Alhaji's secretly pays tithe to Churches. It doesn't matter whatever the pastor chooses to do with the Church money, there is a commandment to give. After all Muslims give zakat too, though not to their imams. What is to say zakat recipients don't go about drinking alcohol after a largese, will you say because of that fact, you won't give again? Trying fight an organized religion as a loner is just a failed business. You won't win. Many have been there, done that and fizzled out from history. |
To all Buhari supporters out there, may God make your life the very same way Buhari has made most Nigerians and all the animals in your household (mosquitoes, cockroaches, bed bugs and rats inclusive) will be like his current cows. Amen!!! The Lord is good! |
Nigerian politicians are drama kings and queens any time. Imagine commissioning a brand new hospital and they don face guards like imaginary doctors, even our pa Buhari rook it very seriously like he's the one going to lead the operation. It's just like using scissors to cut pure water sachet and it proves nothing. All na wash ![]() |
Lol, funny. This one too is also secretly nursing a presidential ambition. You think even Ekiti indigenes as the smallest Yoruba state will come and allow such widespread nonsense you're trying in Imo state to be replicated In Ikere or any of their small towns? Sometimes we Westerners just pick up our phone and smirk loudly about the state of governance in Nigeria. Better one person sits there doing absolutely nothing than clown around like in it applies in Benue, Imo and many other states. |
pol23:Don't mind them. Lot's of newer entrants these days just overblow their capacity to deliver without a corresponding ability. Are they saying 90% of the traffic plying the Apapa route are oil delivery trucks? And just like you analyzed, what if the oil deliveries decides to troop there en-masse for supply to ease the stress and they eventually can't meet the target, what is to say that the Apapa traffic will not be twice what it currently was due to the disappointment? We all know what becomes of fuel during the festivities, so these people should stop raising undue eyebrows and expectations they won't be able to meet. We are still looking for TSTV to commence operations by the way! |
They have suddenly removed the promise of super fast internet they promised that was bundled with every decoder in their initial advert. |
For FRSC to write this long spiiss (in Jenifa's voice) shows that the #EndSARS exposure is really working. Every law enforcement agency is now afraid. The matter has gotten to Aljazeera and BBC already and the pandora's box has finally opened. Don't be surprised if SARS officers start sharing sweets to little children tomorrow, or join LAWMA to clean up the streets of Lagos soon. Watch out! |
All I can say is that Mr Buhari should not think that because people trooped out to welcome him in Kano, he has the confidence of the general Nigerian populace. Kano is just a state out of 36 others. I was there when he came visiting Cotonou. We all trooped out to recieve him with Nigerian flag. Trooping out to greet is one of the paraphernalia that comes with every serving president. Let Lai Mohammed not alter any comment about this yet! |
The project is dead on arrival. Let's face it, how many employers really want to recruit entry level jobs seekers armed with their university degrees and nothing else into their establishment? Well, except banks who would rather hunt for fresh HND graduates they can enslave as contract staff, the chances of zero exposure in today's job market is getting slimmer by the day. Despite the fact that I have more than 3 years and counting professional experiences at diverse places and still maintaining a full time job, an employer I applied to some few weeks ago bluntly told me that he doesn't wish to recruit a freshman out of school and would call me if he needs me. I actually felt insulted. Though the idea sounds nice but the practicality, compared with established career agencies like Jobberman is very subtle. Many jobs on Jobberman will not even let you apply without a particular number of years of experience. I think NYSC should just focus on developing corpers practically along the line of their course and not storing CV's to give false hope. |

But I think Buhari has once visited T.B Joshua's Church before too, so it's nothing unusual. |
Have you considered that in every government parastatal, there is a mosque. Coupled with 98.2% of filling stations especially in the north, not to mention those street mosques here and there oo, not minding the standard mosques spread across most cities. Even hotels have their own mosques these days and private schools. Learn to balance your facts before doing research. People have a right to congregate to worship their God. |

Let us first finish with this #EndSARS of a thing. We will do #ENDFRSC next, then #ENDSOLDIERS. Infact if care is not taken paapaa, we may still do #ENDYELLOWFEVER (those traffic police). Better we enforce law and order by ourselves than having buffoons in uniforms do it for us and oppress us while at it. ![]() |
simonlee:It doesn't matter if you are attending Holy Ghost congress or Shiloh. All that matters is to connect and align yourself with the move of God for the season. It's the same God we are both serving and we will all be equally blessed! |
I'm sure daddy Freezer is currently weeping on his bed now. With all his preachings, people are still sacrificing 2 million naira and giving out their cars. I go pain am gaan oo!!! It's a new dawn, really! |
Stupidity just keeps getting new dictionary meaning in Nigeria this 2017. Early this week we had commissioner of happiness, before the week ran out, we are experiencing this ![]() |
We should know better by now that predicting the outcome elections don't always work. Many thought Donald Trump would loose and even made treats to tear their green cards and all if he does. Now they have appeared publicly stupid and biting on their words in private. Jonathan thought he would use the power of incumbency too, to win the elections but he failed. Everyone agrees now that Buhari is not a performer and one year is too small to wave the magic wand. Presidential visits always attract crowds, just for curiosity, not support. The more you look, the less you see, they say. |
nelszx:Thanks for the heads up. He was actually referring to Science Lab Technology, I now remember. |
nelszx:May be you are smarter than a top doctor in one of the foremost government hospitals in Lagos. You're only trying to give yourself hope. Better a guy goes for nursing than medical lab science because till tomorrow nursing is still very lucrative around the world and locally, especially if everyone can't study medicine and surgery. |
