TravelRe: My Experience With Peace Mass Transit From Lag-enu by matrixme(m): 8:36pm On Oct 05, 2017
And you all sat down conviniently while watching the driver drive you on a wrong route for more than 1 hour?
Are you all 10 year old pikins?? Were you all blindfolded or is it a night bus? Someone help with the odunlade's meme
The guy above me must be drunk. That line of thought only happens when primary school children gets access to Nairaland. So he doesn't have a right to complain about bad service again?
Music/RadioRe: "One Corner": The Crazy Dance In Ghana (Video) by matrixme(m): 7:26am On Oct 05, 2017
We really have to pity these guys... Thank God this kind of cocaine induced dance cannot cross border to Nigeria. It will stop at Benin Republic. At the end of day, these ones will now join us in jollof rice contest, orisirisihuh
CrimeRe: Shocking Ways Drugs Have Been Smuggled Across The World's Borders(Photos) by matrixme(m): 6:41pm On Oct 04, 2017
Interesting development. I'm sure that for every 100 drug smuggling activity, 50 or 75 are successful. The rest are just unlucky.
TV/MoviesRe: A Thread For TSTV First Experience And The Hotspot by matrixme(m): 8:48am On Oct 02, 2017
This TSTV of a thing is a proof that there is no day that Nigerians will ever be wise. It was first Buhari's change mantra, then MMM, now TSTV. Same gullible tricks from the pit of hell to deceive the same sets of people.
You all want inexpensive internet and quality TV and ability to pause your shows and do more wonders all For 5000 naira and 200 naira monthly subscription. It just won't work.
We will all be here when those that are leaking their sores about buying the decoder will come and share their testimony on Nairaland Frontpage soon. Let's all be patient.
Christianity EtcRe: Mountain Of Fire Drags Ex Pastors & Members To Court Over Money & Property by matrixme(m): 10:13pm On Oct 01, 2017
I'm sure if Pastor Olukoya really needed to make some fast money, he wouldn't descend so low to sneak prayer books to members abroad, especially when there are legitimate ways he can make such money from millions of his members and followers in Nigeria. He would just ask directly and people will willingly give. Besides we all know how psychedelic Nigerians in diaspora can be, especially once they are abroad, so prayer books might not be exactly a hot sell. We know their type. The devil himself was once a minister of light.

Foreign AffairsRe: U.S Navy Returns To Compass & Pencil For Navigation To Avoid Collision At Sea by matrixme(m): 5:18pm On Sep 29, 2017
We really should exonerate the Nigerian Air Force then from the incidence of bombing IDP's misplaced as Boko Haram cells. Indeed the best of human technology is still vulnerable.
I really pity all these people advocating that driverless vehicles will crash accident rate by 99%. For one we should be wary of putting our lives in the hands of computers directly. These things are just like MMM. You won't believe it can happen unless you experience the side effects first hand.
BusinessRe: Coca-cola Nigeria Okays $600m For Expansion by matrixme(m): 7:14am On Sep 28, 2017
Which kind yeye expansion? When their recent coke tastes like saccharin water. Big cola or Pepsi will kukuma collect the market share from them. They better plan to be bottling agbo jedi if they still want to retain any spot in the heart of Nigerians.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Nigerian Girls Complain About Deeper Life Weddings? by matrixme(m): 9:32pm On Sep 25, 2017
Nonsense. Either Deeper life or Eckankar wedding, all we want is big meat on our jollof rice and make the thing reach self. Who wedding gown help? grin
PoliticsRe: Electricity Debts Owed By Benin And Togo Gives Nigeria Concerns by matrixme(m): 8:05am On Sep 25, 2017
The fire that will burn all of you is still in Sango's office. When we, the owners of the light owe NEPA bills, you won't hesitate to come and disconnect us and pack wires away with soldiers assistance.
But when Benin and Togo are owing the same bill, you will urge them to please pay up and even devote more transmission lines for them.
At the end of the day, these two countries will come and charge their phones with our light and be voting against our jollof rice on the internet again. Imagine!
God is watching you allhuh

EducationRe: Can A Student Run Two Different Undergraduate Programmes In Two Different Schoo? by matrixme(m): 11:15am On Sep 24, 2017
You will just end up splitting all your efforts. When you are at your finals at both courses, you will be frustrated for lack of appearance at lectures. Even if you sort your way through, it will cost you alot of money and man hours to pull through successfully at both ends.
If degrees are necessary for success in this life, we will need 360 of them to be at an advantage. Many people today in this Nigeria are already millionaires with ordinary school certificate. All you should pray for is the grace of God, not more certificates
Christianity EtcRe: Muslims Block Road In Victoria Island To Pray, Causing Traffic Jam by matrixme(m): 5:50pm On Sep 23, 2017
We need to learn how to live and let live in this country. I'm a Christian first of all. When Redeemed and Winners people block the Lagos-Ibadan expressway and Sango Ota axis respectively during December periods, no one bat's an eye.
But few minutes of your time on Friday afternoon (who knows where you are rushing to by then anyway) is too much of a sacrifice. As long as these sets of people are not wearing suicide bombs and killing in the name of Allah, I don't see anything wrong with sacrificing a little of your time to respect their prayer moment.
Even if you pray to Sango or Obatala or Hindu, you wouldn't want to be disturbed the moment you are doing your worship.
Let's learn to close eye to some things and be matured in our reasoning.
CrimeRe: Thailand Police Arrest 34-year-old Nigerian Drug Dealer by matrixme(m): 7:56pm On Sep 22, 2017
These Thailand police got no chills at all. They for even put table cloth on that table and give him chair to sit down. They will even iron their uniforms and smile for a pose like we do in Nigeriahuh

CrimeRe: Customs Intercepts 18 Exotic Cars, Including 3 G-wagon & 4 Lexus, In Abuja by matrixme(m): 5:25pm On Sep 19, 2017
Pot calling kettle black. A convoy of the Nigerian Customs passed by this afternoon in Abuja. The sets of cars contained in the convoy would make one weep at the state of affairs of this nation.
Posh, exotic cars one doesn't get to see everyday. I even saw a three door Lincoln Navigator. I wonder whether a first tier traditional ruler or governor have such luxurious vehicles in their convoy.
Satan just picks Nigerian newspapers and laugh everyday.
Edit: if these same vehicles in question were what they were transporting to their headquarters then there is real fire on the mountain in this country. I am a witness

PoliticsRe: IPOB Members Spoted On UN, AU and Trump Facebook Page Beging For Help by matrixme(m):
They think the UN will deploy troops to come and flush Nigerian soldiers from performing their civic duties against enemies of the state. I laugh in shorthand.
Secretary General, biko, help ushuh
Meanwhile in the real situation, which country will actually support the breakup of Nigeria by siding with Biafra? India, Indonesia, Malaysia, USA, or even The Roman Catholic Vatican that has a lot of followers from the ibo extraction??
Now that it has been proven that there is no relationship whatsoever between Ibos and Isrealites, contrary to the claims, perhaps North Korea will be the best bet.
FYI, Nigeria is the 14th largest UN troops contributing Nation. Google up for references

Na today? God bless Ezenwata showed us pepper some few weeks back. I came to Nairaland to express my anger too. We spent 3 nights on the journey of one night.
I guess that's their way. Wise people should learn to boycott God bless Ezenwata motors. They will never, I mean NEVER NEVER NEVER send a replacement bus once their bus spoils...

Christianity EtcRe: China Bans Children From Attending Churches by matrixme(m): 4:39pm On Sep 03, 2017
ivolt:
Countries like Nigeria have a dysfunctional government who can't get basic security right.
Humans are content with their lives as long as their basic needs are met, a fact which the
the communist party and its western adversaries understands.

"Freedom" and ability to like a picture on facebook is meaningless to an hungry man or a
boy living in Somalia. if the Chinese growth trajectory continues, I won't be surprised if
some citizens in western countries will start calling for the adoption of Chinese style government
where government controls everything and "evil" capitalists are destroyed, the foundation is being
laid with the rise of anti-capitalist elements in the west as shown by the recent hamburg protests,
though the protesters don't know this but they are asking for it nevertheless.

It is not for you to judge whether a government has been fair to its people, China has lifted millions
of its citizens out of poverty, the same cannot be said of the various "free" 3rd world countries
who can use twitter and facebook.

People are not interested in a superior form of government, they are interested in a government that
works.
The grass is always greener in another man's country. The same Chinese people we see on the streets of Lagos almost doing menial jobs to keep body and soul together?
Ask the average Chinese man weather he or she is really happy with their government and has been truly lifted from poverty and you will know the truth. That's if they are allowed to really voice out their opinion. If communism really works like you claim, why isn't the rest of the world flocking there like as they head west?
PoliticsRe: NNPC “crashes Price Of Petrol, Cooking Gas” Nationwide by matrixme(m): 4:01pm On Sep 03, 2017

Christianity EtcRe: China Bans Children From Attending Churches by matrixme(m): 3:56pm On Sep 03, 2017
ivolt:
Chinese communist party is doing everything possible to eliminate competitors.
It knows that the country can only be kept stable by restricting subversive religions.
All the US needs to stop the inevitable Chinese rise is to sow the seed of religion
and voila they will own China without firing a single bullet.
You sound so intelligent. But you seem to forget that countries like Nigeria with more churches per square meters than banking halls have not fallen their government one day. How about really Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia and Co? Communism has not been fair to China in any way possible in this modern age. Isn't it same China that bans Google, and the YouTube, is Twitter and the likes? Why restrict their people from absolute freedom? It's really a sign of rulership of weakness

PoliticsRe: Market Demolition; Owerri Elders Visit Graveside Of Their Founding Fathers. PICS by matrixme(m): 5:04pm On Sep 01, 2017
Owerrians that are supposed to be the most enlightened sets among the Igbo's are here engaging in a show of shame to express their displeasure at the governor's attempt to modernise their city.
If not for Rochas hardwork, Owerri would have been as disgusting and unplanned as Onitsha or Aba. Rather than invoke the good spirits to keep supporting him, they want their wives to keep selling their ukwa and ugba on the roadside.
You can force a horse to the river, but definitely can't force it to drink!
