We boarded God bless Ezenwata luxury bus enroute Abuja from Onitsha yesterday, around 10pm. The journey started well, until we reached The Niger bridge where a stupid truck went to hit us at the rear. The engine fan belt was destroyed and we had to get the bus away from the bridge. We expected that a spare bus ought to be providedin their Onitsha head office which is just a few minutes away. We waited overnight till this morning. It’s almost 9pm and we are still waiting for a solution. To add salt to the injury, the manager, driver and anyone who ought to take responsibility kept embarrassing whomever came to approach them for a way forward. I even called all the numbers in their ticket with no useful reaction. You are at your own risk if you enter God bless Ezenwata Motors. If this could happen few minutes to their headquarters with no solution to be provided, tell me if you will fare any better if this happens in a remote village. A word is enough for the wise. I will be updating every two hours to debrief about our plight. The yeye bus' plate number is Anambra XJ168NSH. cc:lalasticala; Ishilove

roundandbrown:I hope he has been refunded now? I wonder why people still think they can make smarter financial choice putting their money in some online idea and expect the money to multiply for them. You think Entrepreneurs like Dangote are sleeping away while their money grow on the internet? Don't go and get a day job. Ode!! |
stop putting your money in ponzi schemes, you refuse, telling us we are the unwise ones. Good luck sorting yourself out! BitCoin koo, BatterDollar nii! ![]() |
We are made for each other. If taking care of just 7 and 11year old relative kids of yours is such a challenge for you, then it shows what kind of man you really are. If by tomorrow those kids become world changers, do you think they will exclude you from their story? Every man must carry his cross bro. Maybe that's yours. Best wishes. |
So what's really wrong with this? Tell me if Mr Udom Emmanuel has an eternal life far above the ones living on the floating houses in Makoko. Imagine the house even has it's own personal mini provision store for times when he suddenly wants to drink satchet Milo like Buhari. How many houses today can boast of such interesting luxury in Nigeria today? Pope John Paul II of blessed memory was buried in a wooden casket. One day the poor will have nothing left to eat but the rich. |
Lagos has really taken many a step backwards by stepping into the miry clay of gay discrimination. For a city that is trying to reinvent itself as a cosmopolitan, modernist city, shinning lights at what two consenting adults do in private is such a disgraceful scenerio. This might have been more appropriate in Kano or other far north cities, given their tough Islamic laws, but for a city with massive investments such as the Eko Atlantic, refineries, etc, the whites may be quite unforgiving towards this. All the same, the hijab issue and women not allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia hasn't stopped white ladies from coming. The laws of the land must be respected. |
We are slowly advancing towards a demilitarised country. The Nigerian Army everyday sinks deep into unprofessional practices by several examples. We can manage the evil Police force in dark clothes, Civil Defence and maybe the newly approved Peacecorps. Maybe the later could be gentle on us! |
Biafrans are their own problem. Some kind hearted country offers to you a health lifeline on a platter of gold, rather than genuflect to accept it, you are speaking of Islamisation. Maybe you should wait for Nnamdi KANU your messiah to build you a first aid box or even sick bay if he is kind and bouyant enough! |
AK corpers of 2017 are now bereft of ideas. What is this common, uncreative logo you 'designed'? I believe no one will accept this piece of shit from you. Imagine Government of Akwa Ibom State,Nigeria, 30 years, bla bla bla. ![]() |
How dare you compare Fela, the worldwide acclaimed legend to a disgruntled clown acting drama in Jewish prayer clothes? In fact I recommend this thread should be deleted immediately and you be given a 125 year ban for thinking so foolishly. A dead Fela is 100 times more relevant than Nnamdi Kalu at any point in time! |
One does wonder if truly the association of Nnamdi Kalu's IPOB are a group of failed Ibo's with broken dreams. Naturally the Igbo tribe is known for their industriousness and ability to explore other geographic location for business. For them to be putting their lives on the line to follow Kalu's ideology makes me wonder. If you owned choice properties in an Hausa or Yoruba city for example, you wouldn't want to suddenly be alienated from your investment. |
Abeg let me move go my village before they sell us finish! ![]() |
Akeredolu has once again proven that he's such a fine gentleman, matured about the manner he plays politics. From the way he did not bad-mouth Mimiko his predecessor, to running an all inclusive government by including the sons of the late Agagu and Adefarati (two former governors of different party) as his commissioner nominee, he has my utmost respect. |
just 9 weeks and they are making mouth? I thought they are even creating a new special force unit like SEALS in the US navy. I hope they won't go and shoot civilian homestead again, mistaking it for terrorist base after the'specialized' training |
what are you still doing under such an atmosphere? if the pastor likes, let him be headed to hell, it's you that will determine that he won't take you along. Alot of charlatans in the body of Christ these days, sharing God's glory. Quick Advise: run away!! |
I hope he hungrily devoured yams or brown beans grown in Taraba after such a touching speech! These clowns are just so funny to me. Advocating for secession by mouth instead of strategy. The other day, SW governors were meeting about a 25-year regional development master plan. There is intensified efforts in the search for oil in the north and everywhere crops can grow is currently filled up in the same north. Tell me that even Onitsha is self sufficient in food production and I will believe. Awolowo's strategy never taught you guys any lesson. Ibo's think they can hold anyone to ransom for their overbearing attitude. Tel me anywhere in Nigeria currently where the streets are paved with gold. The other day, news broke that some students on scholarship from a northern state are dropping out of a foreign university due to low academic performance. Why were they sent there in the first place if Northerners are not known for education? How many were sent in total? I was really happy when Arewa youths voiced out that they hasten their secession the other day. Just because we've been keeping quiet all these while doesn't mean we are stupid. The weakest ones always want out first, of any challenge in life. |
I thought Fada Christmas spirit is not until December. You people were privileged to catch a recurrent thief that stole this number of fish at once and you had to let him go on a platter of gold. I hope you also shook his hands while leaving and also gave him tfare? I'm very sorry to say, you guys deserve to be stolen from as you don't seem to need the stuffs. |
in the first instance, if not the length that the APC led government would go to gratify its wanton excesses, what does oil workers have to do in Borno lounloun? Civilized countries have made plans to do away with crude oil in 10-15years from now, we are still searching for new oil fields in impossible places We all know that Nigerian Army is one of the most unprofessional state armies there ever is. We may even find them denying this spokesman entirely tomorrow, so we won't be surprised. Nigeria is a country where just about anything goes. In a saner country, someone would tender their resignation soon after a press conference like this. There won't even be one like this in the first place |
Agriculture is the business of the moment. Real estate has to plunged, oil nose dived and entertainment unsure as a reason of the recession. The spending power of the masses has been reduced to basic necessities. Even Dangote, Nigeria's richest man has made a recent massive investment in Agric. Do an investment that pays. As an agric professional, I could point you on further. Do get across, best wishes. |

It's easy to defy even gravity for August meeting concerns than to brave an excellent weather to pay pensioners salary. |
deepwater:It's quite sad to note that your love for shredded uncooked cassava (Abacha) and ukpa has dried up the grey matter in your brain. |
I wish people understand when the complain of low ram is made for supposed high end phones. Everything will run smooth for the first few weeks until hanging and lagging becomes the order of the day. I bet you soon, when you must have loaded the phone with heavy apps, and used it for a while, you won't even be able to receive calls as the dialer won't show. Just tones. The last itel Android I used made me want to curse the maker with cow horns |
We all know Edo state to be the center point of human rights abuse in Nigeria. Starting from Oshiomole who told a poor trader to go and die in national TV the other day, to their Oba, or Omo n'Oba whatever that means who bans burials at will. The recession is biting hard and people are looking for legitimate ways to make ends meet, yet their access to daily bread is blocked by some governor's afterthought. At least this innocent woman has not stuffed drugs in her pants to deserve this ill-treatment. Even as cosmopolitant as Lagos is, the ban on street trading was relaxed. We are not surprised to see this again. Well done! The devil is waiting for your souls. |
This woman should know better than making false claims. From her credentials, you would think she can use her wealth of knowledge to Nigeria's economic advancement like Okonjo Iweala, but it's retrogressive curve ever since. Most times, silence truly is golden. I believe a lot of women would appreciate beauty tips from her though. |
by the time the APC led government finish playing this hidden stash of money script, it will be too late for them to realise it's not working out on all Nigerians as we are not equally gullible. With all the recovered assets since Buhari entered, Paris club refunds and more 'discoveries' daily, the economy has not leapbounded from the biting recession. I am sure if I sit down to calculate all these recovered dollar amounts, it's enough to double our GDP figure. Even a lame man will understand that if you're broke and start to check your wardrobe and mattress and suddenly discover that your spouse or child has been secretly hording money without your knowledge, you won't remain broke that instance. The devil don't have new tricks. They should move over abeg. NEXT?? |
Are you sure about this? I'm willing to try it out in Nassarawa. Will send you a message on WhatsApp |
deepwater:You ought to remember to take that your drug daily by 10:30am for optimal brain function |
so if the new wife turns out to be a r.etarded cook, should we now die of hunger because we want a change? We better go back and beg the old wife that has much experience with cooking. Bunch of jokers. |
