nice one. The only professional military organization we have in Nigeria. Serious and focused at their mission. meanwhile Nigeria Army checkpoints along Lagos to Sagamu express should be monitored. We spent more than two hours on hold up around eleven PM yesterday night only to find the 3 army checkpoints created the artificial hold up because of the bribes they are collecting |
Been under AEDC, BEDC, Ikeja Electric, PHEDC, and several other discos due to the fact that I travel alot, I can testify they are all bunch of Electricity Disappointing Companies (EDC's). There is barely anywhere in Nigeria that has good light. For example in Ondo state, about 5 local government areas have been in perpetual darkness for up to a year. Sapele people should know we are all in this together. |
Nice work. But why did you have to target only corp members with the app? I think you've just cut off a larger audience out there. |
jabolo:This is pure savage. It shows what's obvious though, most Muslims are very unforgiving. |
Africa slowly sinking back into the dark ages as a result of unenlightened leadership. The failure of trade by barter system was why money had to be invented in the first place. Now some leaders are trying to promote such ideology in a modern era. |
This Fayose guy is the greatest political comedian in modern Nigeria history. What have we not seen him do? Spiderman, DJ, military, butcher, whistle blower etc. Like him or hate him, we will all miss his actions once he finishes his tenure. |
The father be like, wehdone! I was there when they invented 419 ![]() |
you see what those decorating food have caused for us now? What an embarrassment! Instead of doing it the traditional way, you will see them doing eba cubes. Who eba cubes help? Shioor!!! |
This must be the photo of the week. The same sets of people recieving paramilitary salary, grabbed like a chicken by a local Igbo street urchin. He couldn't resist because he knows the allegations are true. |
Teewhy2:Is it the same polystyrene material used to package electronics that you're talking about? Is it water proof and light weight? How's the durability? I have a great interest in this for other purpose than construction. |
To plant cassava, all you have to do is to cut the long stem into several small sizes and immerse it into the soil. I think the government recently introduced some Vitamin A Cassava into the market and now the prices are up. Why don't they revert back to the old cassava cuttings that has never made anyone nutrient deficient for ages? After all Sugar is fortified with Vitamin A and most people drink their garri with it. |
Ekiti people are naturally blessed with stubbornness. It's in their DNA. Of all the Yoruba states, fear Ekiti for doggedness. Ordinary communal clash, see what has resulted out of it. You won't want to experience the anger of an Ekiti man. |
sekem:You learnt Hausa during your service year then returned back to your village to start asking who Hausa help? SMH. Why didn't you remain in the north and proceed for job search? Hausa language knowledge is currently a big selling point for today's graduate. |
people use the internet for positive things but here in Nigeria, we do a bit more. So if a couple is having misunderstanding and they choose to settle their scores publicly, the best thing you could have done is to bring out your phone and start snapping? I don't think there is any law in the Nigerian constitution that says a couple must not fight. All in the aim to promote your cheap blog, I think. Do you think Seun Osewa grew his Nairaland by promoting irrelevant news like this? You need to work harder. Quick advise: if you want to live long, learn to mind your business. |
Nice one. You've done well. These deeds shall not be forgotten. I know of corp members that stole the fowls of their host community and committed other atrocities in their service year. |
Why not gather all these planes then transport them to Ekiti or Anambra? Those ones are building new airport/airport village (whatever that is...) respectively. They could convert those airport plans into a massive aircraft museum that will be a great source of income for the host state. If you visit Cotonou airport too, you will see almost the same view. Meanwhile in the west, you can never see such dead weights hanging around the airports. When planes take off and land seconds apart...We are really wasteful in this part of the world. |
if they like let them drop the Sister of All Bombs on themselves, all I want is oil price to climb. Perhaps Buhari here will lead us out of the recession when that happens. |
Nice publicity. Olajumoke Bread. Sujimoto Construction will share the profit while the gullible masses won't get enough, for they will believe Olajumoke's fortune will somehow rub off on them if they eat the bread. |
Back at home, we are still celebrating Efe's 25 million naira win. Shame on us!!! |
Coal is not an effective energy source because it releases greenhouse gases that is not good for the environment. It's not exactly true that the FG is punishing the Igbo's by neglecting coal like you think. Even advanced countries with abundant coal deposits are shying away from it. |
gypsey:Oga you're wrong. In the Bible, God specifically told Moses to remove his shoes, because where he is standing is an holy ground. |
will it fly? |
It's nice that topics like these are pushed to the front page to encourage job seekers. As a matter of fact, you stand a better chance of securing a job on Nairaland than on those useless Jobberman, Jiji and co, that floods your email with junk messages daily and wants you to pay for one irrelevant training or another. |
be deceiving yourself. The wise ones already established in Lagos are looking for ways to relocate. You need to widen your search scope. Even here on Nairaland, there is a thread that updates Abuja jobs and I am sure other cities have their own thread too. Lagos is not for all of us |
At least let 500,000 graduates learn the skill first and let's see what will happen. It's just like saying people should stop going to school because a lot of graduates are unemployed. |
For the record, you won't make the convocation list if you have a single carry over in the university. For someone that finished with 3rd class, it is understandable while his name may be missing. Case closed. |
Just keep on pushing. At the end of the day you will realize that truly the race is not to the swift. Life is all about determination. You shouldn't go back and waste years starting afresh. Just make sure you have a lot of practical experience in major programming languages and other area of your course. That is what matters. |
I thought after the Olamilekan incidence, the Nigerian Army came up to deny that the isolated cases of military abuse against civilians do not represent the views of the Army. There was yet another incidence afterwards (the lady that sued in Ikorodu) and now this. Its such a shame that the Army has reduced itself to a barbarian organization that doesn't belong to this modern era. |
Arysexy:Have you taken your drugs today? |
You will just cross like 5 cars and meet one pickup carrying like 50 mattress piled up that your hum car won't be able to rise over. Purpose defeated. Lastma will arrest you for cheating |
So they've finally finished that iconic Holy family Statue in Control post? Was that erected by the Government or the nearby Catholic church? It's really a piece of architectural marvel. Kudoes to whomever designed it. |
