I've since left Cotonou long time ago. About the relocation and stuff, I'll advise you consider it well. Our money has reduced in value so much lately so there is barely any business you can do to get much profit unlike before. Besides, they don't have as much spending power like Nigerians, if you are thinking market will be better over there.

I just wonder how sustainable this project will be. Investing such a huge amount only on poultry, meanwhile you could have built an integrated farm with the same amount or slightly higher. If one venture fails, another will make up for the losses. Even the big farms in Ibadan dares not invest only in the poultry business. I've been involved in an agricultural project in the east and I find that sustainability of this line of business is a very big challenge over there.
I wish them good luck with their poultry, cos they are really going to need it.

Lynden Farms set to flood Anambra with poultry
The Obiano administration’s dream of flooding Anambra State with poultry is expected to formally take-off on Friday, February 10, 2017, as Governor Obiano inaugurates the Lynden Farms, Igbariam.

The farm is taking off with 200,000 broiler houses with 8 pens, 93,000 layer houses with 3 pens, 33,000 pullets house with 1 pen, 2000 birds per house slaughter house and a feed mill.

God is catching them small small. No wonder Abuja is in a terrible state of disrepair. Roads are so bad, manholes uncovered, large stretch of major roads are unlit, many other disappointing scenerios. Just yesterday I was discussing how Lagos is more effective than Abuja in terms of city infrastructure, which shouldn't be so, considering the overstretched status of the former.

Such a shame the Nigerian Army led itself into the mess of political gimmicks, flexing her muscles to harmless, Innocent students. It used to be a professional organization. I'm sure very soon, our soldiers will be seen enforcing primary school children to wash their hands after using the toilet and ensure they finish their lunch. Even Peacecorps will not accept the later role, which I'm sure the military will drool over.

What of the multi billion naira poultry farm someone was building in the same Anambra? The story broke on the internet many months back. The sooner these guys understand that agriculture is not like conventional business, the better.
