And you needed to see the fool at the state government organised Divine Agenda Praise night, giving a passionate speech about how his projects are always targeted at the highest number of people. Ironically, he has not paid workers and pensioners for many months and all parts of the state are in utter darkness. Thankfully his repressive government ends today. Ondo state people made the biggest mistake of voting this Buffon the second time. He "served" them well this time. |
Aba is definitely Nigeria's sin city. The volume of crime being perpetuated daily is surprising. |
Started work and had to quit by the end month, immediately I got the salary alert. My heart does gbim gbim gbim every morning whenever I wake up to go to work. I reasoned I'm too young to die abeg. Leave trash for LAWMA. ![]() |
rubbish move. Instead of devoting more attention to the fire department. Fuel stations are basic necessities in a community which people use daily, just like banks and market stores. Therefore, It doesn't make any sense to relocate them away from the city. |
This Amala and Yoruba romance is really a stereotype. Not every Yoruba person relish the amala. Particularly those from Ondo and Ekiti states, they have a strong preference for pounded yam. It's the Oyo, Osun and Kwara people that prefer it more. |
It is a marine fish, caught in the high seas and specific zones around the world. It is not exactly a cultivable species. |
Lagos is cramped and a lot of buildings there are known for multiplicity of space. Don't be surprised there may be a small clinic at the other side of the building. |
ucheheart:It has it's own inverter system |
But wait oo, who has ever come across a movie where Pete Edochie acted a priest and he actually followed through being good at the end? Because all his roles often ends with great evil. Sworn villain of the Nigerian movie industry. ![]() |
Meanwhile come to the South west and see girls dragging departments of Physics and the many engineering spheres with boys. I know female colleagues enrolled for Master's and higher degrees. These ones think their head will blow if they attempt to get an ordinary Bachelor's degree. Eventually they pass off all their irresponsibilities due to limited education to men. We have seen things in this life, we men. |
We had high hopes on this clumpsy invention until I saw its impracticality at a friend's place. For the amount you can buy a bigger sized generator, you will get it, only to light very few bulbs and charge few gadgets. The annoying thing also is that it can carry only small screen TV, no fridge, no iron.... You will also keep loading recharge card on it. I think MTN should just focus on billing us unnecessarily if they want more money. This is just a no-no!!! |
These students are not ready to learn. Imagine the small amount of money they are protesting over? Do they think university education is free everywhere like their Roach-ass made it? They can sit at home and we will see whose ox is gored. Rubbish!!! |
laudate:Apparently you just read the topic and you came to type this. It means NOKIA is relaunching a high powered device in the old case of 3310 we all used to love. Possibly there will be windows and Android versions which can't fail to come with all these features you mentioned, plus more. |
Nice one. Are your workers illegal migrants? Why do you have them facing backwards. Best wishes. |
Such a shame he had to be buried by masquerades. The sooner people stop risking their lives unnecessarily, the better. Nigeria, Biafra or any country's matter is not worth dying over. I'd rather live and be angry. |
yemmy98:How exactly have they used their wealth and influence to bear on the populace? Have we heard of Alaafin's scholarship for students, Entrepreneurship centre or loans for petty traders? What exactly does traditional rulers do apart from laze around all day and play with their 'irukeres' While the rest of us work our assess off every blessed day. Are they any better than us, or do they have 2 heads?? I don't think we should be blind about following traditions and all. It's only the Oni of Ife that has been working very hard to revolutionalize the traditional institution and for that, he has my respect. |
Young man the earlier you learn to face your fears, the better. Even if you're not so good at Physics and also weak in Mathematics, you can use your strong subjects to boost your score. There is barely any lucrative course you can read with such narrow combination and you will end up regretting that decision. Remember there are a lot of qualified candidates with Maths/Physics combination that may not get admission cos of limited slots. Please don't narrow your chances. |
So our ministers cannot do 7 hours stretch in their stupid FEC Meetings?? No wonder our country is as backward as it is. Upon all the fat salaries and allowances they receive? Meanwhile, common petrol station attendant does 7-7 at a stretch. |
Sandydayziz:some do theirs inside the pot. All na same. |
Sandydayziz:What's he now supposed to use biko?? Frying pan or Microwave oven ![]() |
Its sad how politicians keep coming up with lots of uncreative tactics to milk the poor. How much is a Lagos conductor making weekly that he has to be forced to pay uniform and tag money? Even Nigerian Police and Army that wears name tag successfully harass citizens and get away with it. Do new York city drivers wear uniform? What of Uber that renders worldwide professional taxi services? People should just take a chill pill and bat an eye on more important things |
Nigeria Army now goes house to house searching for Indian hemp when there is NDLEA.Talk of professionalism. |
Emeritusseun:You guys should live up to the reality of present day Kano. It used to be a very important trading city right in the days of Ali and Simbi (from Early MacMillan reader). These days, I don't see why the rest of us will leave Onitsha, Aba, Lagos and even Cotonou to go and buy market in Kano. We all fear you're just an Muhammed cartoon away from loosing your head, while risking such a far journey. It's the northern hosts and few Igbo's that work hard to make Kano retain it's name, not new immigrants. |
Let's face the reality, this project will be a massive failure. What does the state have to act as a stimulus to drive population to the new city? Even Abuja is still struggling to attract the right sets of people, as well built, developed and relatively peaceful as it is. Do they think Kano is Dubai? Where people can come and live and holiday in pleasure. Ordinary landing their planes in Kaduna airport was a big problem for foreign airlines, yet they think a new city in the region will attract popular vote. The North, with Its insecurity is a self-inflicted problem that must be dealt with, otherwise they can't make much progress. |
jude33084:They mostly use Mercedes Benz trucks. Very rarely will you see their Innoson buses. |
do a makeshift fence with wood branches |
We are just sitting on a keg of gunpowder. The last tenure devoted much energy to fertilizer subsidy and dry season farming. We also experienced a bountiful harvest later in the year because the earlier policies yielded fruits. These days, these two policies wasn't sustained and costs of input are twice what they are. I pray by the harvest season of this year we can see enough to get by. Buhari won't finish us with hunger |
Be deceiving yourself. No wonder someone ran all the way from Kenya to come and collect our marathon prize and MTN, DSTv and the likes have not sold their stakes if Nigeria is not a golden market. It's not a matter of exchange rate, but many other things are attached which makes a country garner respect. Go and ask Ghana. As unstable as our currency is, we can still afford to send foreign aid to many countries on that list tomorrow. The horse that runs ahead of the crowd is crowned king. Not necessarily the one with the muscles. |
Dumb! in fact, really really dumb!!! Why can't they rather built environmental courts to arrest the black soot issues that is trending there of recent? Did Jesus ask us to open any court on his behalf? I wonder why we always find new ways to create division among ourselves. What next, build markets for Christians only and register all Christian artisans for social security. |
Reggie2: doziex:Why don't you first ask how many Innoson vehicles are flagship for The young Shall grow, Ekene dili chukwu, First Tarzan, Chisco and numerous other Eastern transport household names? After all the plant is already there and all.. Besides, I have never noticed an igbo entrepreneur ride an Innoson SUV. I'm sure the money is not the problem here. You people have refused to patronize your own brother, yet you want to force his products down our throat. It just doesn't work that way. We are not fools down south. |
They just opened the largest poultry in Anambra. Let's hope it meets the demand from that corridor. The actual truth is that the south west has better experience with agriculture. They know how to do it cheaper. The climate also tends to be more favourable in the south west. I can bet you that the price of poultry products from the new farm will still be more expensive than that from Ibadan. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/05/n13bn-investment-in-poultry-farming-coming-for-anambra/ |

Nokia has run out of ideas, I swear! Yes, the Nokia 3310 was a rugged gadget, but the world has since moved on!
