I have to agree that the legacies of Apple truly died with Steve Jobs. From all I could gather, the RAM of these recent smartphones do not reflect the modernity of recent gadgets of its class. Perhaps, the only innovation would be the fingerprint technology, which it's vulnerabilities might just be exposed soon enough. I can't believe such (I could have used the word "exquisite ") technology came in plastic! I fear Apple is going the Blackberry way. We should rather look to the newly named Android as the next big thing in mobile technology.

Aquaculture expert here. The issue of inbreeding should not be underestimated here. First of all, most of the breeders embark on the dubious practice of using fishes less than a year for their broodstock, that have not been carefully selected for egg quality, agility and disease resistance. Inbreed fishes have their genetic characteristics deteriorated, Such that is practiced by using the same fish over and over again, much properly, the offspring of the same fish. The growth potential of such fish will actually reduce down the offspring. As a fish farmer, you should never compromise on the quality and source of your fingerlings because they determine the profitability of your business in the long run. If you cannot get from a reputable hatchery, better you do it yourself. Make sure you don't get your broodstocks from the same place. Do try to get fishes older than 1 year at any cost. They may be expensive, But it is worth it. Also, watch what you give your fishes. Are you formulating your feeds because you're trying to save costs when you're actually compromising on the protein value? Expensive "imported" feeds might actually be better for you, though expensive, But considering the fact that you're presently raising fishes with less growth, hence less market value, you may be doing your economics wrong sir. Fast forward to today when the Yorubas realised there would not have been any refinary in Ondo if not for GEJ's policies.
Now we are all to start believing Dangote was given preferential treatment, that he needed to say this etc.

I got news for the Yorubas, if you can't make it now, you will probably never make it.

This is why Igbos have taken Lagos from you, the Ijaws want Ondo, the Hausas recently kicked you lot in Ogun and the Fulanis have claimed Kwara.

We ought to know that poverty should not be encouraged at any front for it's damaging effect on the populace. If you've been following the news, you will find out that the Lagos we're all happy about is actually ranked one of the worst cities to live in. I think if a visionary governor is doing his best to redeem that image, then he sure deserve kudos. In my own opinion, Mr Fashola ought to be elected the Mayor of Lagos. I believe Lagosians are resilient and inventive people. This would not affect them much, the economics of "suffering and smiling" by opting for a Molue bus is not often advantageous in the long run, considering the inconveniences, germs (diseases), risks (jumping on/off on motion, loosing a valuable) and general body/clothing harm. Besides those old buses look like metallic dinosaurs already; so it's high time they. were rested. Hope they keep at least in a museum for the viewing pleasure of future generation.

Having been on Nairaland for quite sometime now, I have noticed some funny trends that becomes prevailing across threads. I vividly remembered Team Garri that spread like "My Oga at The Top" wildfire sometimes back. In case you are new to Nairaland, well, Team Garri are random Nairaland members who goes to comment on any thread "and How does this affect the price of Garri in the market?" Even if the topic was "California's bushfire renders thousands homeless", or "New breakthrough emerges in Cancer vaccine research". Well they are at it again. It is always end time things to them, even when they read "Microsoft acquires Noka" or "NYSC allowances not yet paid".
Perhaps they are right. It is always end time in Nigeria, given the number of strange things that happen everyday. Like when a political party suddenly splits into two like it is a yard of "Ankara" material, yet without changing names. I wonder what would be the next trend after the moderators succeed in suppressing this fad!

I figure that I always come to Nairaland to benefit from the discovery of others, so today, it's just fair that I share my little discovery also. For many of us that key M,G or sad enough, A is not working on our laptop keyboards, or even our iernal mouse act like it has got a mind of it's own. First, you need an Android phone, then download the App: RemoteDroid from Google play. Likewise, download the desktop equivalent of this app and extract on your desktop, from here: www.remotedroid.net/RemoteDroidServer_v1.5.zip
You must have installed Java on your system to proceed. When you've completed the processes, then create a WIFI access (I used secure access) using tethering and wireless hotspot, which you should connect to on your system.
Now open the two desktop and mobile application, then connect from the phone. If you followed the process carefully, the IP should change from the default 127.0.0.1 to enable you use your phone as mouse and keyboard simultaneously. It is also very cool to play games on your laptop, since many games have options for keyboard control. So it also acts as a cordless pad, especially good for Android phones with physical keyboard like HTC desire G2, or Tecno Q1.
