Please please and please, who uses glo or etisalat BIS with Droid vpn on any android device? kindly feel me in on how to go about it. Don't allow me waste money, guys. |
Please who is answering me now? |
In this country, on the spectrum of morality, we are just on the other upper limit. How can we choose to suppress gay rights when we give consent to girls as young as 9 years to marry? I am not advocating for gay rights exactly, just expounding on our insincerity as a nation. Is marriage not a union between a man and a woman? So how exactly is a man and a girl and a man and a man distant from each other? If it doesn't fit perfectly, then it's just not right, I think |
please does anyone use Droid VPN with either glo or etisalat? do we change the APN? Cos I am about to do the weekly of either (which one is recommended anyway?) Empty Hen gave me BIS limit till September 1st which I can't use cos I have used up my mb limit and Droid VPN drains my money like 5 alive with it. I can't reset the BIS Package anyway, called the Customer agent this morning and she said BIS no longer works on Android phones even if I decided to do the 1,500 which is now 3Gig. |
F.K.O:Thanks alot man! you're the best! I finally got it fixed today, had to login on Google Play with WIFI this afternoon. I particularly like this custom Ice Cream Sandwich you recommended, it has a very powerful equalizer. |
We always put the cart before the horse in this country. It is the typical Nigerian attitude. Either we increase fuel price before building new refineries or this, yet we go as far away as China to seek loans for development. When will we ever get serious with ourselves as a nation? |
They better don't call of the strike only to resume it later as they did recently. Better the strike is long and productive! |
some Nigerians with internet acess are just foolishly jobless. Hey poster, I think you should have composed an open letter to Hitler instead. SMH |
If Soyinka truly graduated with a Second class upper certificate, then it shows that many of the popular notions we've had concerning issues in this country is quite a misconception. I am quite shocked to learn about this, henceforth, I would never believe any popular opinion spreading around this country again till there is a concrete proof for such. It is dangerous to do so! |
F.K.O:I did that and after fully flashing the gapps, the messages I got was 'unfortunately the process com.google.process.gapps' and 'setup wizard has stopped working'. Had to reflash Slimbean to bail myself out. I also noticed that while flashing the gapps, it sometimes stop halfway and the phone will shut down before I could fully install it. Please what might be the problems? Thanks |
F.K.O:you mean I should reflash the custom rom and flash the gaps after that or just go and flash the gapps directly? |
Please to all guru's in the house, I am on my knees begging. How do I get Google play installed on this Slim Bean Custom ROM, even though I like it, yet I can't login on my favorite apps and Google Play. Facebook, Twitter Evernotes app and many other apps I downloaded didn't login. Please help before I smash my phone on a rock. Thanks |
I wonder when Nairaland will stop forcing the Tecno brand down our noses. As a former user of their N3 brand, I have grown to hate the brand with the way they constantly attack the masses. People need to know that there are better Android brands out there that are economic and best for the price. Even if you buy them second-handed. |
Let him get Investing for dummies by Eric Tyson. At least, he should be able to find his way from there, The book contains very helpful tips on how to steer your investment. |
adeinfinit: My g2 nw runnin slimbean 4.2.... am so luvin ithave you had access to Google play yet? |
But I have lost access to Google play. #crying. no more automatic updates of apps. Any help please? |
F.K.O:Thanks man. Really appreciate. I just Ported to Slimbean Android 4.2.2 and I'm loving it! Very sleek OS, and no problems encountered yet. Games run smoothly now! |
Eko Atlantic: I feel their patriotism and relentless spirit, but Abuja looks more appropriate to stage protest like this. It's solely on the Federal government and Abuja is the rightful place their voices can be well heard. You should never expect much from Abuja University students. Right under their noses, their University froze up for a very long time . I think their inaction mirrors into the very soul of Abuja city. Delusion with a cosmetic makeup. I hope more of this comes up across Nigeria so that the governmet will know that students are not as gullible as before, especially in this 21st century. We students are fully aware of the revolutions around the world. |
Hello everbody in the house. Please i recently got a T mobile HTC desire G2 second-handed. OS version 2:3:4. I hangs sometimes, the dialer freezes up, the sywpe keyboard pre-installed refuses to work. Some apps from Google play writes invalid package file upon full download and won't install.I did a phone reset when I got it, and I discovered that it still retains its rooting access, with superuser. what should be the solution please? Thanks! |
I really don't want to believe that big cooperations such as Shoprite can swallow up small businesses in Today's Nigeria. Considering the fact that we have very bad roads, deranged drivers and the not-central location of many of these big shops, you would not be a wise spender in my own opinion, to go right ahead and benefit from their supposedly low prices when you would have bought goods at slightly higher amounts in a shop in your locality. in developed nations, they have good roads and it is relatively cheaper to move around to purchase bulk items from such locations and also, people that patronise such giant shops know it wouldn't take a toll on their finances, since they have well developed monthly budget. Right here, the story is not entirely the same! Africans think that deeply, so many of us are succeptible to this gullibility. Just because goods are cheap doesn't mean we should go right on to buy them. |
FKBZ: hello materixme,I use MTN BIS with a universal modem. Just change the APN to 'blackberry.net'. You would never be able to recieve a call on both the sims in the tablet and the modem once it's being connected. I finally figured out that both camera mp is 0.3mp which is a downside. **@4llerbuntu, you should have chosen to be silent, since you didn't have anything meaningful to contribute. FYI, I am not marketing the product, just a buyer, giving a user experience! |
Slurph! Now Lagos should get ready to go down the way of Nigeria niyen! I mean that proverbially. |
It just gladdens my heart to read on Twitter recently that Mandela felt 'at peace with himself'. Why wouldn't he anyway? Because after doing what is noble, he should have a restful conscience, not like here where we have veteran leaders hopping on Church crusade teams for obvious reasons. I wish many more leaders would learn from Mandela at this trying time! I really do wish him the best in the afterlife when his time eventually comes! |
What of Android version sir? |
So how durable is it? from its look, I think its a Chineese product. Hope it won't be corrupting files? And is it slow? we need more info. |
Even though I'm a futurist and very optimistic about Nigeria, yet I had to laugh like those mynock piggies in Angry Birds when I clicked on this link. This must be a comic relief for the moment; for us to enjoy while it lasts! Hope they know that they don't don space suits on fire brigades and launch them up there? |
You guys better get smart and don't let TECNO rip you off! there are equally good competition in market now. After using Tecno n3 for a while, I had to sell it off to get a 7-inch Bematel Smart Tab with SIM support for less than 26k. Though I enjoyed N3 but I feel liberated and different with my new tab which I've fallen in love with. Relatively new product . Besides, I'm only coming here to steal great apps recommendation. :-) |
I'm sure a president like Mr Obama will definately never give such advice on a Father's day celebration in his country. Imagine our dear president using a religious platform, where he ought to have communicated the vital values of fatherhood to the congregation, and indeed, the citizenry at large; rather chose to perpetrate such a controversial message. Can it not be another day for condemned criminals to be sent to their doom? I think It should be a happy day to reflect, appreciate and celebrate for Christ's sake, not one to condemn, because it isn't the prodigal son's day! I just can't believe the president just let this out, because I'm yet to see the correlation between the message and the occasion. What next? Denouncing terrorism on World Malaria day? I worry about the future of this country with the thinking capacity of present-day leaders |
yeah. it accesses EDGE network. That's what I'm using to send this message. The 3g is activated with both zte, huawei and various universal modems with the USB provided. |
The BemaTel tablet phone is a 7'' Android 4.0.4 (Ice cream Sandwich) tablet. It comes with 1 gig internal memory, both front and back cameras. (Unfortunately, the back camera quality was not stated, but I'm guessing 3mp). The battery life is great (they promised 5-7 hours). It comes with both SIM and memory card slots unlike many others like it. Though the SIM slot is 2g, yet it can access 3g network through a modem with a cable that comes along. I have used MTN Huawei modem to access 3g on it today. Comes with 2 USB cables (1 for modem and another for system sync), earpiece (though not very excellent quality, but that's a negligible point) and a charger. I purchased it recently online at their website (I was fortunate, seems a promo was on then for #20,000) I think it goes presently for less than 30k still (price varies with cover and keyboard respectively). The good thing about it is that they send it via DHL to state capitals under 24 hours, for free (yes, I meant that!). Here is the marketer website http://www.bematel.com/store/
