berem:This is my first comment on this whole certificate saga, because Personally I do not care whether he presents it or not. I do not place value on people based on certificate. for me the real story whether you accept or deny it it that the way and manner your demi god handled this his certificate saga reeks of clueless-ness. The real story is that if buhari can lie under oath about his certificate been with the military instead of coming clean that it was stolen. He can lie about the real state of the nation if he take over power. He would bend the truth to hide the real realities on ground. This kind of man cannot be trusted with power. The real story is that your boss lied to Nigerians and you and your fellow buhari worshipers instead of holding him accountable are covering him up. The real story is that Buhari can commit serious crime and run down our nation to the ground and you and your lot would cover him up. because you are blinded by fanaticism and people worship. Yes I am the newest recruit, I vowed to campaign against Buhari if APC do not shield fashola. I am keeping ture to that promise. If you like let your barcanista, Ymodulus and your clan of buhari worshipers call me a satanist, SaTAN, Romanclander, TANiod or whatever you have in your name calling propaganda arsenal. I really do not give an F. Get that into your head. The fact is you berem have lost your value system and sacrificed your conscience on the altar of politics. You have failed to hold your leader accountable for his actions and in-actions, the same way you hold GEJ ... You have been brainwashed to see a man who could not provide real leadership for his soldiers, he freaking could not even protect him self to the extent that under his nose these same soldiers kicked him out and locked him up like a nobody. This same man thinks he can lead this same army, this same soldiers towards victory against bokoharam. I laugh at you in Spanish. |
Eziachipost=29518276]You're a man full of wisdom Pa Eziachi. God bless you sir!
[quote author=berem:I hate hypocrisy. That of APC stinks to the high heavens. You Cry for change ... Change is when in 2015 INEC sits up and does their job more better. Instead of letting it be business as usual for illiterate who hide under the name of affidavit. Change is when Nigerians under GEJ can now demand to know the qualification of those leading them... this is not 20011, 2003 this is 2015. We now enjoy the freedom of speech unlike in 1985 under your dictator. Thanks to GEJ their voice be heard and they can hold people in power accountable with out fear ... This my friend is change... |
Putting Buhari's Certificate Drama In Critical Perspective. Nigerians : Buhari where is your certificate, Buhari : " I swear it is with the military". Nigerians : Military where is Buhari's certificate. Military : We do not keep the certificates of service men we only keep their records. APC supporters : This is a ploy to discredit Buhari by PDP, We prefer an illiterate to a Phd holder, What has he been using to contest in the last 3 elections. Nigerians : Buhari where is your certificate. We want to see to the original. APC supporters : Nigerians listen the constitution does not say it is compulsory to present your original certificate. Military : Nigerians do you know that service men can apply for their certificates if the lose it. Infact we attend to their request speedily. Do you also know that we have not received such request from buhari. 1 week later ... Nigerian's continue to disturb buhari. Nigerians : Buhari where is your certificate. Buhari : Enough is enough the truth is that IBB and his boys stole it. They came to my house vandalized my property including my certificates and diplomas during the coup. The drama continues. As an individual am not very particular about certificates, I would not be where I am if the people I work for judged me by my paper qualifications instead of what I carry inside of me ... We all know that the real value of a man is not what is on a paper but what is stored in his mind. The challenge is that there is no way of knowing for a fact the level of knowledge stored in ones minds. That is why as a civilization we invented certificates. A piece of paper evidence, whose purpose is to conveys to who it may concern an idea of the state of the bearers intelligence. As a nation we agreeded that you need to be at least knowledgeable to the level of First school leaving certificate if you want to contest for president. INEC acting on this asks every contestant to submit proof, In this case certificates. Everyone obliged. Including Goodluck Jonathan But the General who prides himself as a man of integrity and of his word ... decides to play with our intelligence and take us on a merry go round. He tell us first that his certificate is with the military ... after much pressure, did he now open up to tell us that He lost it when IBB boys vandalized his property. My Question is Why did this same general who his followers tell us is incorruptible, lie to us all along. Why did he present it to us is a manner that suggest that Military is responsible for keeping the original certificate of its service men. Why did he not state clearly in the affidavit that he lost it. What does the way he handle his certificate saga have to say about his type of character and level of discipline. Will you vote a man will boldly lie to you under oath ... Instead of coming clean. Will you vote a man who says one thing today and comes tomorrow and says another thing. Sambo GEJ vice president handle his own with class... While Buhari tried to make it look like the military, PDP and innocent Goodluck Jonathan is against him instead of coming clean with the real truth. I am 100% sure if he told Nigerians that he lost his certificate during the coup this drama surrounding this certificate would not have gotten to this level. Case in point is Sambo who told Nigerian's from the get go that he lost his certificate in a fire. I hate is when people follow people blindly without asking questions. What Germany suffered in the hands of Hitler is a very strong case in point and what russia is suffering under Putin. Here we have people who follow a leader blindly ... with out holding him accountable. Buhari followers instead of demanding to see the certificate of their leader, instead of holding him accountable they are trying to turn this thing political. Is this how the would handle boko haram or anything that goes wrong in their government, they would start point fingers and try to justify what is wrong instead of taking resposibility. The fact is Buhari is way more Clueless than I thought. A man who could not manage the drama surrounding his common certificate. How can this same man manage a Nation of close to 200 million people. Buhari has showed his incompetence in the way and manner he handle this certifcate saga. This is FACT To all buhari worshipers your boss is clueless-ness personified. This is another FACT Matthew Briggs the fire said so. |
londoner:@ BOLDED I 120% agree with you. |
Obinoscopy:I tell you ... |
obayaya:Thanks, your observations have been dully noted. |
@ MizMyColi I am not against taking measures to spark it up again. Nor am I saying a guy should break up once the honeymoon phase of a relationship wears off. All I am saying is breaking up with someone you no longer love is better than holding on to them in the name you not wanting to hurt their feelings. A break up is not the end of the world. It is just the beginning of a new journey. The focus of the OP should be tailored towards instilling the right mindset necessary to handle breakups, than to make it look like breaking up with someone you no longer love is a heartless act. |
Breaking up with someone is not a crime. Especially if the reasons are genuine. Its better to breakup with someone you no longer love than to keep on tolerating that person because you are afraid of hurting his or her feelings. All this BS about karma does not hold water, In this scenario. That is the more reason why it is important you carry your brain along when trying to make the decision whether to toast her or not to. It is important one scrutinizes his or her feelings to be sure his or her decision is not based on infatuation. |

berem:Berem you are the one who is a learner ... You have been brainwashed to think that a General who in the last 30 years has not been able to change his own condition and grow economically ... will be able to change Nigeria a nation of over 200million people from poverty to riches. You have been brainwashed to think that a man who could not provide real leadership to his soldiers to the extent that under his nose they booted him out. Can lead our Army to victory. You have been brainwashed to think that a man who 30 years ago could not protect himself from his own soldiers can save us from a sophisticated group like boko haram. Boko haram is not maistatine they are just like ISIS. Even the almighty US and their coalition of jet fighters from other gulf states have not been able to free common Kobani from the grip of Isis. Talk less of a man, who could not control his army in 1985 and under his nose a coup was carried out to unseat him. You have been brainwashed to think that a man who is very close to his grave in a nation where life expectancy is 52 years is struggling to be president instead of putting his house in order and mentoring younger politicians. Keep shouting romance this romance that ... Your General has been rejected by Nigerian's thrice ... He should better go back to his cows because the 4th rejection is waiting for him come February 14th. |
nduchucks:Thanks. |
Juliaann:Thanks. NO vacancy at all. Buhari is an "economicaly clueless dictator", His VP is even more smarter than him |
dunkem21:Happy new year to you... bro |
Osinbanjo is more smarter than buhari ... This is fact. |
Ymodulus where is the sense in responding to my post by opening a thread. Instead of responding directly in the thread when I made my stance clear. You did this for either of the following reason. 1. You do not want to present to your audience a proper context so that they would not jump into a conclusion that does not fit into your agenda. They get to read your point of view before reading the real source. 2. You wanted to effectively peddle your biased view by controlling the narrative from the get go. 3. The opinion shared by most people on my thread are very toxic to you that you had to run away and open another thread. Whatever your reasons are ... I would not give you the satisfaction of a response on this thread. You would have to go to my thread to see my response to your fallacy. To make your job easier her is a link. https://www.nairaland.com/2073793/gej-clueless-buhari-represent-change/1#29461222 My response on any statement you make will continually be on that thread. Cheers. #Mathewbriggs the fire. |
Response to Ymodulus continued... Electricity __ I laugh when you state the number of companies that bought PHCN as profit driven for the masses. Mr go and verify your claims, the Epileptic power supply in Nigeria has not improved a bit. We saw what happened to former Power Minister. Prof. Baath Nnaji, when he made shocking statements about the way the light issue is been handle. Sir all we see on papers are 90,000 Megawatts generated there and here, yet we don't see the lights. So please stop all this lies. Even Niger State enjoyed more constant light prior to the take over by the private companies. Now Minna state capital share light every 4hours, while Tunga every 6hours. Several Nairalanders in Minna can back my claims. That is the Power state we talking off, where light was not even considered as a valuable commodity, now struggles to see it.Whether they are profit driven for the masses or not is subjective ... But the fact remains privatization of the power sector is the best thing that has happened to our power sector in decades. Irrespective of the intrigues that trailed it. The full impact of this initiative is yet to take its full effect. But the fact remains that he has layed a foundation for a better power sector. Many Nigerians like myself have recorded tremendous improvements. Yes millions of Nigeria still suffer from epileptic power supply. Transforming a sector that was left to rot for decades does not happen overnight. The fact remain that the trend of epileptic power supply has a higher possibility of been defeated via this initiative. Investments __ I am surprised as to how you quote fallacious figures from government lies. You are just quoting trillions of investment here and there, yet nothing to show for it. You claim all this and yet the country cannot pay her workers for months now. Please reason. Investment is different from revenue please stop debating clueless-ly. My figures are fallacious please give me your own figures. 4. BUHARI and his brand of Change.Read this >> http://dailyindependentnig.com/2014/02/the-governor-uduaghan-example-2/ Read this >> http://dailyindependentnig.com/2014/06/opposition-parties-laud-uduaghan-achievements/ and cure yourself of your ignorance. You claim Buhari took Nigerian economy from fry pan to fire? Please back up your statements with fact.By the time Buhari left office in 1985, the debt has risen to $19 billion as reported by the Nigeria debt management office http://www.dmo.gov.ng/ardrnigeriaexternalanddomesticdebt.php Here is what the DMO had to say “By 1985 the debt profile had deteriorated seriously due to persistent inability of the country to meet its external debt service obligations. This resulted in mounting arrears and unmanageable growth of the debt stock relative to available resources. The external debt stock, which was about US$8.855 billion in 1980, grew to nearly US$19 billion by 1985” Insurmountable economic problems plagued the Buhari regime as petroleum prices collapsed in the face of expanding foreign debt. Buhari instituted austerity measures that caused severe hardship to the average Nigerian. In addition, political corruption continued unabated, with politicians escaping to Western countries with millions of dollars in government money. In an effort to stop dissension, Buhari instituted restrictions on the press, political freedoms, and trade unionists. By August 1985 even the military had had enough, and Ibrahim Babangida took control of the government. Buhari was detained in Benin City but was released at the end of 1988 http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/83801/Muhammad-Buhari So change is when Buhari steals and offer the loots to people? Change is when Buhari have factories? Sir please go read about the president of Uruguay or is it Paraguay ( I cant recall which, but the president is known as the poorest president. ) Go and read his acts , deeds and see appreciation for his works, then you will understand why Buhari is the Change we need.
This is your answer Culled from http://www.medianigeria.com/61918/muhammadu-buharis-contradiction/ To begin with, Buhari was minister of petroleum in the military regime of Olusegun Obasanjo. While he was still serving, it was reported that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) could not account for $2.8 billion that accrued to the federal government from crude oil sales. Since then, Buhari had been trying to explain away the scandal. However, his refusal to appear before the Oputa Panel to address the matter conclusively made discerning Nigerians to wonder whether the former military head of state was hiding a $2.8 billion-sized skeleton in his cupboard. One would have expected Buhari, given his much talked about anti-corruption stance, to avail himself of the opportunity to state all he knew (and did not know) about the missing money, not the least because $2.8 billion is a gigantic sum that can make a positive difference in Nigeria’s economy. To the best of my knowledge, Buhari has yet to give a satisfactory explanation of what transpired. Only die-hard Buharists like Tam David-West think that the former petroleum minister absolutely has no case to answer on the issue. Again, Buhari seems not to realise that, by associating closely with prominent people of questionable character, he is invariably telling Nigerians that, in terms of character, he is not so different from them. The military dictatorship of Sani Abacha was undoubtedly corrupt. That much is clear from the hundreds of millions of dollars which have been identified by foreign countries and banks as funds stashed away by the late dictator. An English adage says, “Birds of the same feather flock together.” In my view, Buhari accepted the post of chairman, Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) under Abacha probably for self-rehabilitation, having been unceremoniously kicked out of office by Babangida and his cohorts about a decade earlier. Having worked for Abacha, is it possible that Buhari was completely inoculated from the virus of corruption associated with the Abacha regime? Idiagbhon was the Pillar? ROTFLMAO!!! , ** Just poured my drink on my clothes. you are a character MatthewBriggs ****This is a dictionary definition of pillar. "someone who is an important member of a group " Are you trying to say that Idiagbon was not an important part of Buhari's Administration. You are the one who is the real character. Your arguments are based on sentiments and hold no water. Now you spoiled your beautiful write up with your sentiments made open, let me address your last paragraph. No where will a president or his cohorts no matter how dumb come out to say he wishes to give 1.5 trillion annually to people as free money. Not even Rochas or his advisers will let him do that. Am surprise where you got this news from? Oh i forgot the PDP are good in this kind of talk. its Ok.In one post you called my write up unreasonable and tried to paint me as a troll and in the same post you call this same write up beautiful. This is the exact type of confusion and hypocrisy rampant in APC. Edit its 1.5 billion not trillion. 25miillion X 5000 X 12. In a time we're experiencing an unlimited supply of finances you god is not shy to spend at least Five Thousand Naira (N5,000) to cater for the 25 million poor citizens. http://www.punchng.com/opinion/viewpoint/the-trouble-with-the-buhari-manifesto/ When the focus should be teaching them how to fish not giving them fish. Manifesto: Do the clueless one even have a manifesto? The Otueke Drunkard who shied away from a public debate, only to go get that Tongolo Master call DBanj to interview him, is that a man who can defend himself? The amazing hypocrisy you lot display is mind blowing. Obasanjo is now your great father because he shares you opinion. IBB, the same man your leaders once praised is bad just because the same man endorsed the President. This is what Tinubu had to say about your Buhari and obasanjo. Tinubu disclosed that he does not like President Obasanjo because he contributed to the end of democracy in Nigeria during his tenure as a military president and is now benefiting from that history. Moreover, Obasanjo is the only candidate who stands a chance of blocking his rival, General Muhammadu Buhari, whose ethnocentrism would jeopardize Nigeria"s national unity. Buhari and his ilk are agents of destabilization who would be far worse than Obasanjo. https://www.wikileaks.org/plusd/cables/03LAGOS369_a.html Your Tinubu thinks Buhari is far worse. I have a complete phrase to define you messiah. He is an Economically Cluless Dictator |
Ymodulus where is the sense in responding to my post by opening a thread. Instead of responding directly. Moreover This is where I made the statements you quoted, in this same place will I respond to your comments. Here we go... Ymodulus:One powerful tool of any propagandist is name calling. They start by making baseless allegations. They try to give a dog a bad name so as to hang him. The start by imprinting in the mind of their victims an idea or a preconceived conclusion about a subject so as to set the stage for their message. In response You started off by insulting thousands of people who visit the romance section and some how suggest that they have no business in the politics section. You likened them to trolls because they do not share your Opinion. I am not ashamed of been called a romancelander. But what I find amusing Is the fact that your master Barcanista is a romanclander before becoming active in politics ... but because he supports your cause he is not troll. I hate hypocrisy Ymodulus. That is the real reason I detest your Party. You present you self as saints while you lot have lots of can of worms. Moreover It would surprise you that my most visited section is Politics. If we were to go by nairaland's alogrithims. I am first a politicslander, and then a romancelander. So stop with this romanclander BS you barcanista and berem like to spew and tackle the message not the messenger. While i read through MatthewBriggs's epistle, i would say i was disappointed as is epistle was nothing but a clear attempt to attritite the hurricane change, that is currently showered on the masses from the progressive. As a good progressive, one who truly believes in the spirit of change and progressiveness, i wish to counter MatthewBriggs Epistle. You are right the epistle was designed to exposed the fallacy, the lies, the half truths and the kind of change APC stands for by presenting Buhari as her presidential candidate. Yes as a specie we wired to want change It is in our DNA that is why our civilization has evolved over the years. I would gladly debate that with you any time anywhere. Wanting change is one thing, accepting change is another ball game all together. 1. They Say GEJ is clueless Ymodulus I understand what It means to a be president contrary to your opinion. To be president does make you a god, To be president does not make you immune to mistakes. To be president does not make you all knowing. I would rather vote for a man who I know is imperfect than a man who his fanatic supporters present him like a god. The try to sell to me the idea of a man who in their eyes can do no wrong, He never makes mistakes, and has all the answers, and with his magic wand is capable of fixing Nigeria. While hard data on the ground suggest the opposite. I do not take fanatics serious ... are you a fanatic? I would be stupid to say GEJ has never done any wrong. I challenge you Ymodulus to kindly state 3 things Buhari did that is wrong in your sight. GEJ may not be the best of presidents, you might call him whatever you want. but what I see is an imperfect man on his way towards perfection. You compare Jonathan to Obama ? For real? ok i will let that slide. Now do you mean Obama silenced his critics in his second termGood thing you let it slide because the context of that comparison is valid. Obama has silenced most of his critics I can debate that anywhere. Yes he may not have silenced all, His poor performance in his fist term may have cost democrats the senate. But the fact remains that under Obama the American economy is gradually recovering. Read this... 4 Things That Were Supposed To Happen By 2015 Because if Obama Was Reelected ( http://thinkprogress.org/economy/2015/01/01/3607416/4-things-2015-obama-reelected/ ) What are the propagandas ? You claim the APC has CLANDESTINELY summarized his Jonathan's Six Year in office, so how did you get to know this since it was clandestinely done? Do not use the word PROPAGANDA if you know not its meaning. To be lectured on what propaganda means visit my thread >> https://www.nairaland.com/2030072/how-propaganda-works ... Your boss Barcanista is a mater propagandist. Ask him and his squad how they did it. 2. Is GEJ really Clueless & "vision-less" Answer this question truthfully in the history of Nigeria has the credibility of our elections not fared better compared to the past. Inec under Jega can be it compared to Inec under Maurice Iwu. International bodies of observers testify to this fact. " These are statement from The National Democratic Institute (US) Nigeria’s just-completed presidential and National Assembly elections “represent a step forward from seriously flawed elections of the past” and “hold the promise of setting a new standard for integrity in Nigeria’s electoral process,” NDI said in a statement (.pdf) from Abuja, Nigeria. IRI found that the April 16, 2011 presidential election was a major step forward in advancing Nigeria’s democracy. Under the capable leadership of Attahiru Jega, chairman of the Independent National Election Commission (INEC), the election overall was transparent and orderly, allowing Nigerians the opportunity to exercise their right to vote. Chairman Jega and his team have made great strides in improving the quality of Nigerian elections and deserve credit for what has been achieved in the short eight months since they were appointed. http://www.iri.org/news-events-press-center/news/nigerian-election-major-step-forward " Our elections may not be 100% perfect but under this administration it has improved greatly. This is fact. 3. EDUCATION: Am sorry to say but you have no tangible point on education, you just shouting. Let me add that the North had one of the first University in Nigeria yet is still Under-developed when compared to the South. So sir you made no sense. In your bid to discredit my post Are you trying to say the north is not a nuclear reactor of talents, of scientist, of doctors, of inventors waiting to be unleashed Are you saying they have not been neglected for generations by their leaders who fed on their ignorance. giving them fish (free money) ... instead of teaching them how to fish Are trying to say GEJ should never have built any university and school for the north. Are you saying the human capacity in the north is not priceless. Are trying to say that the education is not a necessary ingredient for economic prosperity. Are you trying to say because the North had one of the first university she should not have more. Are you trying to say that the north has more university in relation to its population when compared to the south. Nigeria Make Cars __ Nigeria does not manufacture cars or make cars, we only Assemble cars. Pleas make reference to the Latest edition of the Oxford Diction and cross - reference with the Merriam Webster's disctionary. Assembling is different from Manufacture. Also let me remind you that prior to the Jonathans tenure, Cars were been assembled in Nigeria. We have the Peugeot plant in Kaduna owned by Okocha Motors. Are you sure you are not using the pirated version of thee Oxford dictionary because according to it "make" means 1. form (something) by putting parts together or combining substances; create. "my grandmother made a dress for me" . Synonyms Construct, build, assemble, put together, manufacture, fabricate create form. fashion, model, mould shape 2. Cause something to exist or come about. I repeat it again Nigeria now make, construct, build, assemble cars let me rephrase my statement to drive it home under GEJ Nigerian now has an indigenous firm producing an indigenous product under an indigenous brand. That company is Innoson and for your information they do not just assemble they make their own parts. Do not just take my word, take a leave from your laptop and visit Innoson's factory in Nnewi. Instead to trying to discredit what you know nothing about The icing to the cake is that Under GEJ Global auto giants like Peugeot, Nissan and Hyundai now either assemble or wholly manufacture small cars, Sport Utility Vehicles, trucks and buses at various locations in Nigeria. This is fact. |
southniyikaye:The four set of people voting Buhari are. (1) The brainwashed, air heads :- Easily deceived by propaganda, they cry for change. #Change is when in 1985 you change the state of our national debt by taking it from about US$8.855 billion in 1980, to nearly US$19 billion in just one year”. Is that the kind of change they want for Nigeria. Someone who would plunge us into more economic woes. Change is having a man who thinks he can fix the economy by stabilizing oil prices. (2) The Angry Godfathers Those who use to be in control but have been cut to size by a regime that refuses to be their puppet ... and can't deal with the fact that power has changed hands, They involve the corrupt cabals who now automatically become saints by ganging up together - (3) The fanatics and blood thirty killers : Those blinded by religion and ethnicity, and would not hesitate to kill and murder people who do not share their political decision or point of view. The post election riots comes to mind. They a bigots who hide under the coat of detribalized nigerian. (4) Those who are suffering from a combination of the above terminal sicknesses" |
Collynzo9:Fair enough may the best man for Imo state win. Both Candidates are sound. I wish I can say same for Abia state. Theodore Orjis PDP needs to be kicked out of Abia state with either APGA or APC taking over. |
Collynzo9:What is the Captains track record so far. I am not referring to how popular he is. Rochas even before becoming Governor did a lot for the people of Imo state. |
Rochas should be allowed to continue ... he has done a lot for IMO state. Rochas I know Captain iheancho I do not. |
barcanista:The new trend is people are waking up to the realization that a man who could not control his army and provide her real leadership to the extent that under his nose he was humiliated and kicked out by his own soldiers is been sold to us as a man who would tackle the insurgency problem. He could not protect himself in 1985 fast forward 30 years later he thinks the can protect us all. A man who for the past 30years have not be able to change his own economic status is now capable of changing the economic status of nation made up of 200million Nigerians. I think to be a Progressive is to think Elections are only fair when you win and rigged only when you lose. #ToBeProgressive means to support a man who failed Nigeria in infrastructure, education, human right and most importantly the ECONOMY. and package him as the best thing since slice bread. I never agreeded that GEJ is clueless. He has made some clueless utterances in the past these are two different things... Stop been mischievous. Unlike you I do not see GEJ as a god or as a messiah who can do no wrong. GEJ is a human being with faults, and weakness, he is not perfect ... he does not deserve to be worshiped they way you and your lot worship your god and savior ... who you believe with his magic wand would kick out corruption from Nigeria and save our economy by stabilizing oil prices. You are the real troll here restorting to name calling and focusing on attacking the messengers instead of the message. You are the one who lacks insight. You have allowed your self to be clouded by fanaticism to the extent you see an economically clueless dictator buhari as a saint ... as man who can do no evil. While under your nose he has gone on to dine and mingle with thieves and together they want him to go and represent their interest. |
MizMyColi:Thanks ... just fixed them. |
BUHARI and his brand of Change. As the elections draw closer APC so far have been trying to sell to Nigeria that they are the change Nigeria needs. I do not hate change. I want to see Nigeria rise from the ashes... I want us to be the next china. I want a country I would be proud of. But want I hate is the brand of change APC from all realities on ground represent. What I hate is when my intelligence is been insulted. Fashola taking a city who for 8 years under Tinubu was rot with corruption, crime and controlled by Agberos and converting it into the city that it is to today. That my friend is change. Akpabio of Akwa Ibom taking a state that was known for its backwardness and converting it into an infrastructural wonder it is today ... that my friend is change. Kwakwaso fo Kano , Uduaghan of Delta, Lamido of dutse, Peter Obi of Anambara, Rochas of Imo those people are change. I freaking to do not care where they are from... whether they are Christian or moslem or they belong to APC or PDP the fact is the are doing wonders for their states. What is pissing me off is the how APC collectively as a party is trying to redefine the dictionary meaning of change by presenting an economically clueless dictator as the change. Reason with me. How can a man who the last time he ruled Nigeria ran down our economy, increased out debt profile. He took us from fry pan to fire. In fact he had to be kicked out by force. Those touting change should go and read their history books and see this mans economic cluelessness in display This same man in the past 30 years has never contributed in any way to the progress of this nation either in ideas or in enterprise. How can man who in the last 30 years has not been able to change his own condition and grow economically ... change Nigeria a nation of over 200million people from poverty to riches. He even had to borrow money from a freaking bank to buy his party's presidential form. It's like borrowing money from a bank to enroll in a lottery or gamble ... Which man in his right senses does that. How can a man who prides himself as been a pauper for the past 30 years change this nation's economic state ... He is even proud to let us know that the least he has in his account is a million naira. A former president for that matter. What does that say about his economic sense He has no track record of causing economic change in his life, in a company or the last time he ruled and you expect me to believe he would change Nigeria. When I present this argument to people who think he is their messiah. They say that the best thing Nigerian needs is a president with the will power to fight corruption. They believe that Buhari has the moral compass and ability to deal with corruption. Please answer this question. You have two men who are vying for a particular job. The first one, you hear gossip from people who hate him they tell you he is a thief. The second one tells you he is not a thief, that he is saint and you carry out some underground check on him only to discover that all his friends are thieves and that he dines with criminals and corrupt people. Who would you hire. In my Opinion Buhari has lost all the credibility he has by dining with criminals, he did not just dine with them. These same criminals are presenting him as their candidate. He is going there to represent their interest. Even Obasanjo and Tinubu have fallen in love with him they even have influence over him. To the extent he left Tinubu to single handly picked his running mate for him ... I pity those easily swayed by propaganda. The say he has the strong will to fix insurgency they showcase his exploit with the maitasine group they say he chased them to chad ... I get pissed off by this statement. It is on record that Idiagbon was the main pillar of Buhari's administration. Infact the coup against buhari was able to take place when Idagbon traveled to mecca. GMB was not the man in 1985. Idiagbon was the man. GMB is infact a sissy he is tinubu's stooge. Its only a sissy that would let another man chose his wife (VP) for him. GMB is not decisive he is just stubborn they are two different things. GMB is not smart he just thinks he has all the answers they are two different things. How can a man who could not prevent he own coup save Nigerians from insurgency. How can a man who could not protect himself from his own soldiers save us from a sophisticated group like boko haram. As earlier stated his economic credential is nothing to write home about. In his manifesto he thinks it makes sense to spend over 1.5 trillion annually on giving people free money. He thinks he can fix the economy by stabilizing oil prices. Is this the kind of president Nigeria need at this moment. He can't even defend his manifesto. This my friend is the real definition of cluelessness. If APC really want to change Nigeria they would have fielded their best candidate not a 70 year old economically clueless dictator and a VP who was chosen to appease tribal and religious sentiments on the altar of merit. Till then all I can say is GEJ Till APC sits up. |
What does it mean to be progressive... What is change. Because the truth is I have been hearing this words fly around. Change is a very sexy word because by default we are wired to want change. APC believes buhari is the change Nigerian needs and that Good luck is clueless and needs to be sent to otueke. I beg to differ on both stance. They say GEJ is clueless. Yes I agree GEJ has made some clueless statements and acted in error in the past. From the way he handle the Abducted chibok girls saga, to the allegations of corruption that has trailed his government, to a couple of failed promises and his failure to nip in the bud the significant security challenges plaguing this nation. I could go on and reel out a whole page of things I hate about his administration. Sometimes I feel like going to Aso rock and talking some sense into his head ... but amidst all I am reminded that he is human and has his short comings. Just like Obama, in all his smartness flopped in two presidential debates, is struggling with his foreign policy, is yet to deliver on some of his electoral promises and has seen even worse criticism ... but over the years he has silenced his critics in his second term. Americans today are more hopeful than ever. I have watched from the sidelines as the APC so far using propaganda has clandestinely focused on highlighting the weakness of this administration as they try to summaries the six years of GEJ's administration by the word "clueless". In light of this I beg to ask the following questions. Is GEJ really Clueless & "visionless" When under his watch, elections were conducted that have been adjudged credible and transparent. From Edo, to Anambra, to Ondo, to Ekiti to Osun and Niger. It takes a man with vision to understand that the building block of any nation is credible elections. Using his executive powers clueless GEJ has made our vote count even at the detriment of his party the PDP. A party known in the past for its ability to rig elections. Under his watch PDP lost key states with the people's choice reigning supreme. Buhari the presidential candidate says the president is Clueless yet the ONLY Federal University & Almajiri schools in his freaking state where built by this same Clueless president. Infact the clueless one in his first 20 months built 9 universities and 50 Almajiri schools including the only Federal Universities in Jigawa, Katsina, Gombe, Nasarawa, Kogi, Ekiti, Taraba, Yobe, Kebbi and Zamfara!. It takes a leader with vision to know that the real problem with the north is not poverty but education. The north is nuclear reactor of talents, of scientist, of doctors, of inventors waiting to be unleashed. They have been neglected for generations by leaders who feed on their ignorance. giving them fish (free money) ... instead of teaching them how to fish. The sighting of these universities in my opinion was a strategic decision by a clueless administration. The human capacity in the north is priceless. Under the Clueless president Nigeria now make cars . our non-oil exports rose to 2.97 billion by the end of 2013, up from 2.3 billion in 2010. Do you know what will happen if Nigerian becomes the major supplier of cars for the whole Africa. GEJ is indeed clueless. The cluless GEJ understands the significant role power plays is growing the economy and has proceeded to unbundle the dysfunctional Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) into about 18 profit-driven companies. He has set the ground work for improved power supply something other administrations could not accomplish. This same Clueless President has secured investment commitments worth 4.89 Trillion Naira for Nigeria. Investors are trooping into Nigeria. Our technology sector has skyrocketed. Do you know that it is more easy for you to get venture capital funding for your business today than in the past. We are becoming the new investment destination in Africa no thanks to this clueless GEJ The Clueless GEJ is the first to pay attention to young people like me and you providing funds via YouWin to hundreds of young Nigerians to build their dreams and start business that can in turn hire other young people. According to the world bank under GEJ poverty has reduce by 2% , more people have moved to the middle class ... The truth is I have more faith in Nigeria than I have ever had before. The story of Tony a filmmaker who for the past 10years has been struggling to reach the pinnacle of his career and make a name for himself. Is a story that the APC would not want you to know... but thanks to this Clueless and stupid administration without knowing anybody or paying any money to anyone. Tony gets to travel to the US to be trained as a film maker by a visionless president who set up the Project Act grant to build the capacity of an industry that has the potential of making up to 10percent of our GDP if harnessed properly. It would be a much longer read if I go on to tout GEJ's achievements. The greatest tool every opposition party all over the world have is to feed on the failures of the present administration and that is what the APC and her media propaganda team have been and able to do effectively. They are very efficient I must commend them ... I think mainly because the odds is in their favor.. Good new is not news ... The story of 8 people killed by a suicide bomber in Gombe is News while the story of 1200 youths given funds to kick start their business is no news. This clueless GEJ, has metamorphoses from Obansanjo's stooge and puppet to a man who owns his voice . He has clandestinely watered the strong hold of people who held Nigeria to ransom and made them irrelevant to the existent they had no option to run out the PDP and rebrand them self as agent of Change. If GEJ is clueless I think we need a need a new definition of what clueless really means. |
Tinubu:GMB is not ruthless Idiagbon is ruthless. GMB was not the man. Idiagbon was the man. GMB is infact a sissy he is tinubu's stooge. Its only a sissy that would let another man chose his wife (VP) for him. GMB is not decisive he is just stubborn they are two different things. GMB is not smart he just thinks he all the answers they are two different things. I don not have to sit GEJ down. he is not my messiah I do not take him the way you lot praise your demi god. He is a full grown man with faults and weakness, how he handles his wife or family is not my business how he handles Nigeria is .. GEJ is the main man. I say this because in the past 6 years he has grown from a JJC and stooge to criminal elements in the former PDP (OBj and co) to a man who now own his voice and runs things as the boss. The real puppet here is buhari worshipers they have been brainwashed to see a 70 year old economically clueless dictator as the best thing since slice bread. Just as you stated GMB is not the best. |
1stola:#Change is when in 1985 you Increase national debt from about US$8.855 billion in 1980, to nearly US$19 billion in just one year” . #Change is when you do the same thing and expect the same result. It is to present a man who failed nigeria in 1985 to the extent he had to be kicked out and to think that thirty years later.he is the best thing since slice bread. #Change is man who thinks spending 1.5 trillion naira annually on giving Nigerians free money makes sense. |
Tinubu:GEJ is not my messiah ... GEJ is a human being with faults, and weakness he is not perfect ... he is human and does not deserve to be worshiped they way you and your lot worship your god who you belive with his magic wand would kick out corruption from Nigeria and save our economy by stabilizing oil prices. GEJ does not have all the answers. Sometime I feel like sitting GEJ down and talking some sense in to him. The truth is I would chose a human being who I know is fallible and is doing his best to be a better man... to a man who people take as god, who thinks he knows every thing and can do no wrong. |
barcanista:@ bolded If we were to give awards for the most mischevous thread on this forum you would win. This is fact. I am not a jonathanian, nor do I exhibt tanisim, All this you tags and name calling propaganda tactics do not work on me. I understand how you think and the propaganda tools you operate with. The fact is I once made a solemn promise that If fahshola was not chosen as VP I would campaign aggressively against buhari. Because I am of the opinion that he is an economically clueless dictator with no sound Vice president to put him check. I must commend your effort so far you are one brilliant propagandist. Who using the tools of propaganda is trying to package an economically clueless dictator as the best thing since slice bread. Happy new year to you too. |
Buhari is an economically clueless dictator ... Touting him as change is a very big insult to those who suffered the harsh economic realities of 1985. If Na fashola ... I for begin reason am. |
Tinubu:You mudsling GeJ and expect your messiah not to be mudslinged. You and your lot assisinated GEJ's character and except your lord and saviour not to be attacked. I laugh at your hypocrisy in Spanish. |
Ayekotoo:He did not do any miracle he came and made it much worse. Go back and read your history books. |
