obayaya:Amen ... we would move to new heights in rapid successions. This is a year of no go slow . |
obayaya:I am telling you. Happy new year to you too. |
akanbiaa:Very good initiative ... I really admire the propaganda arm of APC. They are master propagandist. |
berem:You are welcome. |
berem:Are we moving from an issue based discussion to personal attacks ... Is this how you run issue based campaigns. I am not Reno ... I am a Nigerian who is enjoying his basic fundamental human right of speech, I have the right to question her evidence and to express my opinion freely with out fear of been put in jail. I am thankful this is not 1985 where decree 4 was in full force by the former dictator. I would not want to vote a man who is against freedom of speech. |
berem:For your information MADAM, I never stated that he is guilty or innocent. I simply stated the fact that she, or whoever is peddling this news has a very weak evidence ... Shikena. Which romance section ... Politics is my most visited section. I have always been on the sideline watching how you and your ilk are trying to sell to us the idea that a man who thinks he can fix Nigerian's economy by stabilizing oil prices is the best thing for Nigeria since sliced bread. |
This is a link to a BBC publication that covers this controversy in detail. http://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-26481508 It is possible that the accusations are part of an elaborate attempt to frame Omokri. Carlo De Micheli, an independent security expert, says the evidence can't be taken as concrete proof - but points out that it would be a bizarre strategy for Sanusi's supporters to falsify documents incriminating him, and subsequently try to clear his name.Reno might have been framed they have a very weak proof... Some one can write a really damaging article about Good luck Jonathan and modify the meta tag to show that it is sent by buhari himself find screen shot example attached.
|
Gliding:Who said it was posted by buhari, It was posted by a buharist ... Buhari is not smart enough to come up with this type of silly propaganda. Haven't you heard that buhari supporters are way more smarter than buhari himself. |
minister2015:Far from it of GEJ is no puppet. If not we would not be having issues when it comes to buying arms to fight book haram. If he was their puppet... In fact the US would not stop buying oil from us and shift their order to Saudi. The irony is that Saudi Arabia the heart and holy city of islam is the puppet of the west. He understands what Isreal is going through in the hands of the Palestinians in terms of security and terrorism. He made the right call by not voting. So as not to be seen to be for or against. Given the multicultural and religious connection Nigerians have for both Israel and Palestine. If he voted yes the south would be MAD if no the north would be MAD. He made the right choice by not voting at all |
berem:No you are wrong At least he made us know that APC is a dumping ground of PDP criminals that have been cut to size by this administration who has refused to play ball with them. At least he has made us know that APC is made up of a gathering of crooks that kept this nation under ransom for the past 16 years and now they hiding under the guise of change. At least he has made us know that APC is not really the change they profess but more like old wine in a new bottle. At least he has made us know that Buhari is now corrupt. They say show me your friends I would tell you who you are. Its a fool who would belive a man who says he is not a thief but keeps thieves as friends. At least he made us know that APC is much a less a gathering of disgruntled thiefs ... Who are sad that they can no longer steal as before and therefore would do anything to continue from where they stopped. |
Buhari is economically clueless. My dog wouldn't vote for him. Plans to spend 1.5 trillion naira annually giving people fish instead if teaching them how to fish. Nigeria would be in serious trouble if this man comes into power. It would be 1985 all over again. I would like to see him defend his manifesto on national TV . |
JudismphD:That is what is really pissing me off. The high level of deceit. Old crooks packaged as the best thing since sliced bread. |
This is the issue based campaign ... Buharist promised us abi. I laugh at their hypocrisy. Look at the source ... Look at the date ... HABA |
Ochiske:I see some peoples lives been left in the same state he left Nigeria's economy in year 1985. Buharist take note. |
crazysaint:This is what he can boast of ... INSURMOUNTABLE ECONOMIC PROBLEMS plagued the Buhari regime as petroleum prices collapsed in the face of EXPANDING FOREIGN DEPT. Buhari instituted austerity measures that caused SEVERE HARDSHIP to the average Nigerian. In addition, POLITICAL CORRUPTION CONTINUED unabated, with politicians escaping to Western countries with millions of dollars in government money. In an effort to STOP DISSENSION, Buhari instituted restrictions on the press, political freedoms, and trade unionists. By August 1985 even the military had had enough, and Ibrahim Babangida took control of the government. Buhari was detained in Benin City but was released at the end of 1988. http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/83801/Muhammad-Buhari |

ibson99:I never mentioned anything about codes and technology in my post. I talked about strict bank rules and process. But let's say I mentioned them. If we are to go by this logic. GEJ is not the one blowing up people and giving them bombs and guns to go and cause havoc under the guise of bokoharam... So he is not to be blamed for the insurgency problem in the north. Inbtwn you call GEJ cluless just like A perennial presidential candidate (buhari) says the president is #Clueless yet the ONLY Federal University & Almajiri schools in HIS STATE where built by the same #Clueless president |
This is a very dumb move... does not make sense at all. |
Ferdinandu:@bolded If that is what you want your buhari has already told us he would not be doing that ... He is giving all the former thieves a clean bill of health and would not go after past corrupt leaders. The reason is not far fetched because If he wants to start hanging and and burning people he would burn all his friends, Infact 75% of those in APC would be cooling off in jail. He might even have to burn himself as well. |
OrlandoOwoh:We both know if the powers that be..wanted fashola he would be among the contestants. Common VP they no give the guy. Because of religion and tribe. Is that really a progressive decision. Choosing and inexperienced lawyer to a tried and tested leader a true technocrat due to religion and tribe. |
lawbabs:Both parties have brilliant propaganda teams ... and they did a brilliant Job with this video. |
proxillin:I am not a staunch supporter of Jonathan ... I am just a man who does not want Nigeria to go from fry pan to fire. I am a Nigerian whose mind can hardly be swayed by media and propaganda. How can you tell me a man who who failed Nigeria in infrastructure, education, human right and most importantly the ECONOMY, is the best thing for Nigeria since slice bread. The man freaking left Nigeria bleeding in a much worse state. I am not a staunch supporter of Jonathan... I am just a man who want Nigeria to not go back to the status quo. This administration has seen the complete alienation of people who think Nigeria is their private property ... they hate the fact that they no longer run things and loot the nation dry like they use to. They want power back to continue from where they stopped under the name of change deceiving gullible Nigerians. I am not a staunch supporter of Jonathan ... I am just a man who hates to be lied to. who understands that when something looks so good to be true it is not. APC touts themselves as been progressive. Now judge this. Fashola's success in lagos state is really commendable and truly enough reason to have fielded him as the presidential candidate for the APC. Blinded by ethnicity and religion ... they went back to the stone age to pick someone who has no depth, who thinks he can fix our economy by stabilizing oil prices. Fashola is more smarter than Buhari ... is it truly a "progressive decision" to chose the duller among the two and expect him to deliver as well as the smarter one. Is that what we call been "Progressive". I am not a staunch supporter of Jonathan ... I am just a man who would rather vote for someone who people say he is a thief than someone who tells me he is a saint while all his friends are thieves. |
Iamsynord:Fasholas success in lagos state is enough reason to have fielded him as the presidential candidate for the APC. Blinded by ethnicity they went back to the stone age to pick someone who has no depth who still thinks we are in 1985. Fashola is more smarter than Buhari ... is it truly a "progressive decision" to chose the duller among the two and expect him to deliver as well as the smarter one. Is that what we call been "Progressive". |
PassingShot:Thank you. ? |
dguyindcorner:I respect you opinion aswell ... Corrupt one on seat. Buhar is a flagbearer of the APC. A party made up of key stakeholders with a very shoddy and corrupt past, Buhari has dined with not just one but has forged alliances with even more corrupt people and you expect me to thinks he is a saint. They say show me your friends I would tell you who you are. He keeps corrupt friends, who want him to represent them ... that means Buhari is ... Secondly you would rather voter for someone who promotes double standards. After taking over power during a coup. In the name of fighting corruption he puts the president under comfortable house arrest while he throws his deputy in Jail. When in reality reverse should be the case. I would rather vote for someone who people say he is a thief than someone who tell me he is a saint while all his friends are thieves. |
PassingShot:The four set of people voting Buhari are. (1) The brainwashed, air heads :- Easily deceived by propaganda, they cry for change. #Change is when in 1985 you change the state of our national debt by taking it from about US$8.855 billion in 1980, to nearly US$19 billion in just one year”. Is that the kind of change they want for Nigeria. Someone who would plunge us into more economic woes. Change is having a man who thinks he can fix the economy by stabilizing oil prices. (2) The Angry Godfathers Those who use to be in control but have been cut to size by a regime that refuses to be their puppet ... and can't deal with the fact that power has changed hands, They involve the corrupt cabals who now automatically become saints by ganging up together - (3) The fanatics blood thirty killers : Those blinded by religion and ethnicity, and would not hesitate to kill and murder people who do not share their political decision or point of view. The post election riots comes to mind. They a bigots who hide under the coat of detribalized nigerian. (4) Those who are suffering from a combination of the above terminal sicknesses" |
According to Transparency international, Under Jonathan Nigerian in I year we went from 31th most corrupt country to 39th. 8steps forward What happened? Was there actually a successful fight against corruption or did other countries just become more corrupt. Well, this is what happened. There are two sides to the fight. Prevention and punishment . while little has been seen regarding punishment, a lot has been done to prevent corruption. from strict banking rules, to transparent contract award and execution to more professional procurement processes and proper accounting processes. CBN, Ministry of finance and other government agencies have improved their processes to a good extent. Is 39th most corrupt nation worth celebrating? Not at all. but Rome was not built in a day as they say. The sad part is that all this means nothing to the Public. proper record keeping is no news. they want someone to be hanged. they want a 'big' man to be humiliated. the people want blood. and in this regard, the government gave them nothing. No politician in jail. no body to ridicule. So all the good behind the scene work has no political value. OBJ administration had terrible processes. Corruption was huge, but he gave the public the ''punishment'' they craved. Even if it was mainly visited on his political opponents, the people loved it. This government has actually done a lot, but punishment is the only way to show you are fighting corruption. They simply did not ''show working'', thereby exposing itself to the accusation of tolerating corruption. Don't just work, be seen to be working. Its also called ''eye service''. - A.C He is also the first Nigerian president to grant complete independence to the EFCC. |
dguyindcorner:The decrease in the value of the naira to the dollar did not start now. Infact Buhari left the value of the naira to the dollar worse that he met it. and so did successive governments after him. You asked Military or democracy. Bro that is even the main reason I would not vote him. Because under the military he had absolute power and less restriction to do what he wants, even at that he left us worse than he met us. What would happen now in democracy would be much worse because he would very limited given that now his powers would seriously be in check, and he has no experience since then working in a democratic background. Secondly he is not economically smart or strike me as someone who understands the current realities the nation is facing ... Imagine thinking he can fix the economy by stabilizing oil prices. I use to say this buhari campaigners are really smarter than the man. We need a techocrat running things if we really want change. Fashola would have been a better man for the Job ... no thanks to the politics of Tribe and religion. |
dguyindcorner:@ bolded Voting GMB is really doing the same thing over again. That guy left Nigeria worse than He met her, the last time he ruled, hence he was kicked out. Also the major credit for the good things during his administration goes to Idiabohong his deputy.
