Heard you but when talking about anyone who has labeled himself "PASTOR" know that such a person is for public recognition which Jesus warned his disciples against {Matthew 23:8-10} so there is nothing to debate about such ones they are all thieves on pulpit!😟

My brother no be fight, we are just learning, am not saying you're wrong, okay, what am trying to say when we read from the scriptures we need to be guided by the holly spirit of God, that's what I do when reading the Bible, and I ask questions while reading the scriptures from the holly Spirit, let me also remind you during the period when Jesus was in wilderness fasting for 40 days and 40 nights devil tested him quoting the words in Bible to Miss lead Jesus and Jesus also quoting the words in Bible back to the devil , this happened because Jesus is also a God.

What am only trying to say here as regards the topic, is that we should be careful when we judge people by what we read or here .

Tell this to your pastor i'm using the full strength of God's word each time i make a comment so instead of arguing go straight to the scriptures i quoted and tell me the PRACTICAL APPLICATION which negates how i applied it!🤔

What I see here is pastor adeboye highly intelligent because he doesn't want to create a problem in their marriage. If it was the wife that came to him , he might say a different thing and even tell her the consequences of her actions.

Because it's time to know the difference between fine seeds and the weeds {Matthew 7:16-18} if you truly love Christ this is the time to face the reality Jesus returned to planet earth since the year 1914 and from then he started separating his sheep from the goats {Matthew 25:34-46} so that those who are his real disciples now enjoy the love, joy and peace befitting the gathering where God's holy spirit operates! Galatians 5:22-23

So instead of following the crowd whose intentions are evil {Exodus 23:2} think of how to IDENTIFY the gathering where Jesus is operating and leading his sheep! Matthew 7:13-14

Jehovah witnesses are the worst

Jehovah's Witnesses have a body that's directing our organization just as the first century disciples of Christ had the Apostles {Act 2:42} and none of them is using the funds their brothers gathered to purchase private jets whatever we have in that organization belongs to all members just as first century disciples of were operating. Act 4:32-35

So if you want to be sincere now please let us know how Jehovah's Witnesses are the worst when talking about those taking advantage of their fellow believers! Isaiah 5:20 😟

According to Jesus all his disciples should have the same line of thought {John 17:22} so that the love they share among themselves is really strong that nothing not even politics, racism or riches could break our brotherhood. 1Corinthans 1:10; 1Peter 3:8
So this idea of different religions with contradicting teachings and conflicting doctrines all claiming believers in Christ doesn't add up going by Jesus' point of view neither does it work with his first century disciples!😟

The real church of Christ should make you feel loved so if that's not happening then know that your church is fake! Matthew 7:16-18

I would love to be a great part of this discussion. I have face several betrayals (wounds) from church people, I am still facing one currently that has hit me so hard, I have stop attending the church within my locality. Because the mindset and way of life of most the people is too one sided, their human relationship is extremely poor too. I would like to encourage those who have been hurt as well. Look, sometimes a particular church denomination may not be bad. If most of the people who live around the neighborhood of that particular branch of the church are very wicked, selfish, nonchalant, naive and not really converted christians, you will think that is how the whole church as a denomination is. If you are a genuinely converted christian reading this and you have been wounded by church people whom you thought should be "brethren", here is my candid advice. If a congregation will make you leave GOD, leave that congregation and cleave unto your God.

From man's point of view it's good to pray for your nation and the people but is that God's will? Isaiah 55:8-9

What the Bible says:

The one refusing to listen to the law —Even his prayer is detestable. Proverbs 28:9

“As for you, do not pray in behalf of this people. Do not cry out in their behalf or offer a prayer for them, for I will not be listening when they call out to me because of their calamity" Jeremiah 11:14

“Do not pray for good to come to this people" Jeremiah 14:11

What about Jesus the son of God?
Did he pray for Jerusalem and Jews?

He said:

Now they have come to know that all the things you gave me are from you;  because I have given them the sayings that you gave me, and they have accepted them and have certainly come to know that I came as your representative, and they have believed that you sent me. So why shouldn't we pray for people who aren't willing to accept wise counsel from God's word?

Churchgoers differ from Christians!

Real Christians meet together not in the midst of ridiculers or scoffers {Psalms 1:1} rather we meet together with fellow believers who are seeking encouragement and encouraging others! Hebrews 10:24-25🙂

Instead of asking What is the FRUIT expected of Jesus' true followers? many have been taught to believe that it's about virtue or being nice whereas virtuous people could be found in all the religions on planet earth so does that makes such virtuous people followers of Christ in their different religions?

So what is the FRUIT expected of Jesus' followers and which group or religion is bearing this FRUIT?🤔

Satan's desire is to kill integrity keepers {John 8:44} but he has no right to kill a man direct for his faith {Job 2:6} so what Satan does is to compel misinformed or desperate opportunists to carry out his plans therefore the sin would be shared while the one who raised his hand will be found guilty {John 19:11} hence in a sense Satan has succeeded in killing two not just one person since the killer will be judged for killing an innocent soul! Genesis 4:8-12

As his former colleague in heaven Satan knows Jesus can't be killed by him because angels are always on guard watching him {Matthew 4:6} but when humans whom he came to save wants to do it angels have no right to protect Jesus after all he knew what he's coming to face yet due to his love for mankind he surrendered himself! Proverbs 8:30

So Jesus must be killed not by Satan but by humans that he himself came to redeem this will make it more difficult for Jesus to continue the mission but he did it for faithful people who were ready to put faith in him! John 15:13

The truth is many don't understand how faith works so when discussing with the unbelievers they thought they are talking to an enemy whereas unbeliever doesn't know the reason for the faith in you that's not the time to quote Psalms 1:1:

Happy is the man who does not walk according to the advice of the wicked And does not stand on the path of sinners And does not sit in the seat of scoffers.

The above doesn't apply to unbelievers because going by God's viewpoint they are not sinning rather they don't know what they are doing just like pagan Roman soldiers ordered to execute Jesus but were mocking him by putting a crown of thorns on his head. These guys knows nothing about the scriptures for Jewish religious leaders to have brought Jesus as an impostor who wants to lead common Jews against the Roman authority {John 19:12} so to them they are dealing with another zealot who wants to create a challenge for their country's sovereignty. No wonder Jesus prayed for them! Luke 23:34
The people Jesus always face with anger are Jewish religious leaders who knew what the scriptures say yet are trying to misinterpret it to make their people view Jesus as a liar after teaching the people so much about the Christ in the scriptures {Matthew 23:2-3} but seeing the Christ now they felt he doesn't fit in to what they want since he's not pleased with the way they were treated common Jews {John 9:34} so they conspired to have him killed! John 11:48, 53

So true Christians respectfully address unbelievers {1Peter 3:15} but as for apostates (people who wants to use the scriptures for personal gain) we shun and give them no breathing space! 2Corinthians 11:12-14

You can never ever find anywhere in the Bible where any of the inspired writers address someone using religious titles for instance check the scriptures from Genesis to Revelations and quote a verse where this is written:

Prophet Elijah
Apostle Peter or Apostle Paul.

What you will find is Moses the prophet of the true God or Elijah the man of the true God or Peter the apostle or Paul the Apostle, the one and only person Bible writers use title to call is "Christ Jesus" and while Jesus himself was alive he strictly warned his disciples never to use that title for him until he's gone! Matthew 16:20🙂

The second category are people who are determined to do anything just to become rich so they have killed their conscience and nobody can stop them or convince them otherwise except death. We call them "ATHEISTS" some of them have mixed with different religions claiming they also believe in God but they believe only in themselves.

Apart from these two the rest are gullible followers!🙂

My dad is a very smart person that unfortunately fell to a spiritual church that has convinced him all his problems are spiritual. He’s had many problems with his health in America and believes that it is from evil spirits and that people in his family are cursing him and praying on his downfall everyday and that to prevent this he has to give people in Nigeria money so they can pray for him and do rituals. I’ve tried to speak to him and he’s just tried to make me seem like I am insane and I don’t know what to do anymore.
