From my own understanding the word "GOOD" could mean a lot more than just seeing a matter from one angle.

Samson is fighting for the land God gave his ancestors as a promise while the Philistines he was killing were seeking ways to drive God's people or exterminate them from the land.

So from one angle Samson may be seen as doing what is bad by killing the Philistines but from another angle he is doing God's will by keeping God's people safe on that land!🤔

The peace your thread is asking for can't come automatically it worth making sacrifices for others which means whatever religions wants to do in the neighborhood there should be consideration for others and such requires sacrifices on the part of the religionists involved we can't force ourselves on others but we can make sacrifices for the peace of our neighbors.
That's why i said majority of people claiming they know God don't understand that peace is not optional rather it's a need worth making sacrifices for.
I remember a day when i spent some time with my friend who happens to be an estate agent a man (Pastor) came angrily complaining bitterly regarding the apartment my friend rented out to him. His complaints is he doesn't want an apartment close to any church due to their noise but this same man used to make a lot of noise in his RCCG church where he is the assistant pastor!😟
Only the true religion understands this.

Many who were excommunicated in our organization have families in the organization and their families often cry as in shed tears when such ones are ostracized but we have to make such sacrifices if we want inner peace we can't just continue putting up with someone who knows the right thing but chooses to do the wrong thing in our gathering!😟

Today the population of the world is about 10,000,000,000 inhabitants but Jehovah's Witnesses globally are not up to 9,000,000 which means if anyone is ostracized or excommunicated in that organization he or she still have over 9,000,000,000 people to replace JWs.
The ratio is 1000+ against 1 so what is the reason why they can't forget about JWs if truthfully they have meaningful ideas that could work elsewhere?

The truth is they have taken peace of mind as something they can opt for as in want whereas to JWs peace of mind is a need something we can't trade for anything.

You can't eat your cake and have it the best thing to do is choose between eating your cake and having it.

Meanwhile the guy coming here to malign God's organization can you ask him a simple question?

Since he was a JW and he has left the organization has he found peace in any other religious group?

Like other qualities of God's holy spirit PEACE is a need and not want!
Humans do seek what we want and not what we need that is why God's word said:

The fruitage of the spirit is LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MILDNESS, SELF-CONTROL. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23

In reality 99.9% of us don't truly want any of the aforementioned qualities because we were born imperfect which means selfishness and greed often drives our innermost thoughts so when we are faced with a hard decision most of us will trash NEEDS and go for WANTS thereby forgetting all the nine qualities of God's holy spirit.

Our world today is filled with violence because majority of people will choose wants over needs. For instance take a look at your neighbor and ask yourself:

Why can't we live together as a family?

The next thing that will come to your mind is:

"I don't WANT to loose my steez if i talk to him first he may take me for a ride"

So what we WANT is ego even though we NEED to be loved as a neighbor most of us will be thinking of how to keep our ego and so when Love, Joy and Peace will result from our humble friendship with a neighbor we will prefer to be respected highly as if we are on the top.

Well Jesus conquered this devilish trait in humans by coming down from heaven where he has a very high position beside the Almighty God and put on human flesh, he did not go to the house of a king or wealthy person rather he was born by a lowly carpenter and despite knowing his real father {Luke 2:49} Jesus subjected himself to his lowly parents! Luke 2:51

At age 29 Jesus went to John a prophet sent to prepare his way and humbly asked to be baptized by John even when John tried to prevent him {Matthew 3:14} and afterwards Jesus the only begotten Son of God Almighty began going from house to house talking to neighbors about what we NEED which is the government of God! Matthew 4:17

Today many are running from one place to another or from one religion to another but are they doing in search of peace?

The answer is NO!

How do we know this?

It's only when they found themselves in bigger troubles that they think of peace but once they are able to maneuver they don't think of peace so they have made peace a choice (want) instead of a neccesity (need)

Imagine a society harming themselves but a small group began learning how they can stop the bad habit whoever joins them already knew what to stop doing and that's how the group keeps getting members after teaching them how to avoid getting into trouble.
Please how would you treat someone who has learned so much, vowed to stop hurting himself and others but later chose to go back to his old lifestyle where they are hurting themselves and others?

I will say such a person should be quarantined so as not to infect others which means cutting off closeness with him or her since he or she already knew the implications but chose to endanger his life and others close to him!

Quite true. JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES are actually one of the few denominations who are still following Christ. Most churches now are headed by motivational speakers who only use the name of Jesus to preach other things. The goal is to attract members to their church and the members will bring the money.

They have been steadfast, resolute and committed.
I hold no grudge against them. They downplay commercialization of churches.
They entertain persecutions a lot, in fact more than several Christian bodies.
Seems in their church everyone is at same level irrespective of your degree, financial acquaintance and contacts.
And it seems they obey the Bible the most:
-They hardly disturb neighbors during prayers.
-They frown at intimidation and flamboyant lifestyles.
-They ensure financial gifts are covered and never displeased at whatever they recieve.
-Their members would make good politicians but they frown at politics
I respect them. I judge based on actions and not what I'm told.

I would love to be a JEHOVAH'S WITNESS, because of their gentle life. Relaxed service and programs(not those stressful and loud types), and serenity of their church yard. Infact, its this serenity of their abode that blows my mind!

But the thing that worries me, is their misled teachings. How can you say that we are not going to die, but remain on earth and unite with our love ones and live happily together forever!

I am not sure the respect JWs have is on account of what you say. It is more on account of their general simplicity, general adherence to bible truth, and the fact that no one can accuse them of being commercialised or money or power focused like most other denominations are. Alot of people see a purity in them which is lacking in many other places. I should know, for as I told you, in my youth, I used to be one.

We do teach thousands of people who come to our assemblies or conventions such ones come at their own will not passersby who are going to their respective businesses.
In the first century Romans do arrest any Jew who gathers a crowd addressing them in the streets that is why Jesus always speak to men, women and children who wants to learn from him.
This totally differs from people shouting indiscriminately at passersby who are going to their place of work or disturbing passengers in busses in the name of religion!

Let me quote that illustration of Jesus for you. Illustrations are not real life events, but the illustrator puts his own thoughts, opinions , ideologies and beliefs into his illustrations most times. Audiences can glean insights and draw inferences

“Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. 1. The first bolded part, look at what Jesus said the king with a 10,000 army should first consider. He didn't say the king is supposed not to go to war, but that he must first consider if he still has upper hands against his adversary.

2. Then, see the second bolded text, Jesus is telling us what the ruler should do ONLY IF HE IS NOT ABLE. That means, if he is able, hr should go ahead and match strength for strength.

Now, this illustration was a big opportunity for Jesus to explicitly condemn wars, and also condemn rulers who raise an army if that was indeed His doctrine. Do you think Jesus forgot? He simply didn't say anything like that because it was not His doctrine.

Let me tell you the most probable ending that illustration would have if Jesus was opposed to militarization.

"Woe unto you rulers, for you raise armies to kill one another because of offences. Such are rulers of Satan and not servants of God. I say unto you, no ruler shall see the kingdom of God."

The above would have been Jesus' ending for that illustration. But, He didn't end it that way. Why? Because it isn't His doctrine!

You condemn the use of swords and guns by rulers but you want them to use the same swords and guns to protect you. Don't you have shame?

Back then Jesus wasn't calling multitude rather they were searching for him due to the miracles he performs!
It wasn't his custom to stand on the street making noise to call passersby! Matthew 12:19
The reason is before his time prophets in Israel has the right to shout in their streets because it's God's law that's the order of the day but by the time Jesus walked the earth it was the Roman empire that ruled Israel so making noise in the streets was offensive as Roman armies were given the order not to allow the Jews form a crowd that could lead to a protest.
That's why John the baptist who came before Jesus during the same period had to go and do the shouting in the wilderness not in their streets! John 1:23
So Jesus can't stand shouting in the streets otherwise he could be arrested for inciting the people to protest.

I believe you know why it wasn't normal in the first century for his disciples to shout in the streets now?🙂

So Jesus' most famous sermons were given to multitudes. He told his disciples that if they enter a house and find good ears, they should stay there, and NOT GO HOUSE TO HOUSE. It seems the idea was for people in that community to go over there to listen - like it happened in Zaccheus' house.

So if our churches decide to emulate Jesus by peaching to multitudes on TV, in crusades and in public busses, why are you questioning that?

Bolded is WRONG. The evidence on hand says churches that have adopted mass methods of preaching are more effective at gaining converts than those who have adopted house to house. The evidence is there.

Note: Acts 20:20 and the other one are irrelevant to this conversation because the disciples were talking about visiting THE BRETHREN in their houses, not going to the homes of unbelievers.
