Why is it evil to think of becoming equal with God simply because we were created in God's image? Philippians 2:6

Because only God knows what is good and what is bad to us we may choose a wise course but we can't know what the end will be {Proverbs 14:12; 16:25} but Jesus who is God's only begotten Son never thought of doing anything apart from what his father told him to do! John 5:30

Well if you want to know that is why God sent him to teach us how we can be like him and whoever accepts to be like Jesus will be given everlasting life! John 3:16

Did God know everything happening in Sodom and Gomorrah?

NO! That is why He wanted to go and confirm the reports He is getting!

So when God said He knows the end of everything from the beginning He is talking about His own program since nothing can stop Him from achieving His aim but what each person on planet earth wants to do or what is happening in all the earth God doesn't know and there is a reason why He chose not to know!

Whatever they does after learning from righteous servants of God will be their judgement {Revelation 20:11-13} whoever disregards what God's servants teaches will die after a hundred years of his youthful life {Isaiah 65:20} those who accepted will see the end of Christ's thousand years reign then Satan will be released to test all survivors for the last time! Jesus only knew what God revealed to him that's why he cried out in when his father cut of the supernatural powers Jesus was using. Matthew 27:45

There are many evil spirits around today claiming God/Jesus {2Corinthians 11:14} it is difficult to know their true identity because they will possess their victims and make such ones think it's God/Jesus that's dealing with the victim.
To know if such spirit is holy or not you need to know the purpose for which Jesus of Nazareth established his group. It's like someone who planted a tree {John 15:1} you can't know if enemies brings a different fruit to you unless you know the specific fruit planted by the cultivator, anyone can just advertise a different fruit for you. Matthew 7:16-18
So to be on a safer side Jesus has given all Bible believers the power to conquer Satan in this spiritual battle and the power is knowledge you must first of all ascertain the purpose for which Christianity was commissioned by the founder (Christ Jesus) then you'll test any spirit that comes to you in the name of God/Jesus. 1John 4:1

If the fruit that spirit is advertising is not the same as that of God's holy spirit {Galatians 5:22-23} there is no reason to be unduly anxious it's fake.

What makes most people fall into the hands of demons is ignorance or pride some don't know what to expect from the spirit of God while others just want to be possessed claiming they have the spirit when they don't really know the spirit they are dealing with!😟

What is the purpose for which Jesus gathered and trained his followers?

A Christian is someone who follows Jesus and do things Jesus commanded but a Jehovah's Witness is someone called by Jehovah Himself due to his or her pure heart.
A Christian may decide to stop following Jesus {John 6:66} a witness of Jehovah will continue seeking the only group where the spirit of Jehovah is operating.
So when a Christian feels tired of what Jesus is saying and decided to forget about faith in God a witness of Jehovah will never ever forget about faith but continue seeking His fellow believers in God, that is why you will see many who are not even believers in Christ entering God's Kingdom because they love God with all their hearts but got lost due to deception in the world of false religions all claiming worshipers of the true God.

Exactly what i was taught as a Muslim back then but there are many things our clerics don't know about Christianity.
First of all the group name "CHRISTIANS" was borrowed from critics who wanted to mock Jesus' disciples in Antioch {Act 11:26} the group name God intended to call all His worshipers was hidden from centuries until the year 1931.

If you know the real Christians you will tremble because we are totally different from the people you know bearing that group name today!🙂
