Your elders also lack understanding of the use of metaphors. The word "LIKE" is a metaphor. It doesn't mean that jesus=moses. It compares jesus to moses in the sense that jesus is a deliverer. He delivers us from being slave to satan/sin while moses was a deliverer who delivered Israelites from being slave to pharoah. Also, bought wrought mighty miracles which only Elisha came a distant close, but Elisha was not a deliverer. That's why the metaphor was used. Jesus however said he is not Elijah or the prophet moses. The Jehovah's witnesses elders are reasoning like the Jewish elders of Jesus days who expected a carbon copy of Elijah and moses. Unknown to them that the messiah was to save people from sin - not a fighting Messiah that will lead wars and restore again the physical kingdom of Israel

Calm down when dealing with Jehovah's Witnesses so you don't start fighting a wrong course.

It's not Jesus that made the statement you quoted rather it's John the baptist!

If you blame politicians for not sticking to their promises and words do you think you're better off when you are shying away from your own words!

Jehovah Witnesses are very dogmatic followers of the interpretation of their elders not scripture followers. How dare you affirm jesus is angel Michael based on your elders commentary and not based on scripture

JWs teaches that only among ourselves no JW will tell you that if you don't ask us so just as Jesus told his disciples some things that should be kept among them as SACRED SECRETS JWs hold onto the teaching that Jesus is Archangel Michael it's proven by comparing scriptures and what is happening not WRITTEN word for word!

For instance an ancient Israelite will tell a stranger that David is a servant of God but if he wants to address David he will call David "Lord" Why? Because among God's people David is serving as king representing God.

So the OP asked and i gave him the best answer but if he wants to join God's people then is the time to tell him how we address Jesus among us that he is our Master, Lord and King yet he is not our God because he himself is one of the SERVANTS of our God just like David his (human) ancestor! Isaiah 9:6-7
