Of course mistranslations has caused a lot of confusion in the past just as when the teachings of a good counselor was misunderstood due to difference in language but then if students taught by the same teacher performed excellently whoever wants to disqualify such a teacher only need to present students taught by a better teacher. In the absence of that anyone criticizing a teacher whose students have done what is required is lying to his own soul!🙂

Of course few Christians will go and live in the heavens permanently because they have been chosen to rule with the Christ but no one can be in that number by his or her own personal desire God chooses who will rule with His son.
So if you wish to go to heaven know that it's not about your faith or goodwill rather God determines who is to be taken along with His son.

God established an organized religion with the nation of Israel and told Moses:

As a nation the religion became like a covenant between God and the children of Jacob so God gave them laws that will separate them from other nations.

There was also a national center were they must gather as a nation to worship God annually and this place needs to be catered for also some of the people needs to work as permanent officials in the tabernacle that is why God chose a tribe out of all the tribes in Israel to serve as priests in His tabernacle. This tribe will not be given any inheritance they are to serve throughout their generations as priests in God's house. Numbers 18:20

This tribe is called "Levites" and they'll be the ones to be officiating inside the tabernacle. God commanded the rest of the tribes to work using their inheritance as capital but when they make gains (profit) they are to divide their profits into ten parts so ⅒ of their profits will be brought for Levites as food. Deuteronomy 14:26

Later when the people began worshiping other Gods they abandoned the Levites in the temple and due to hunger the Levites serving as priests and singers went away seeking food to survive! Nehemiah 13:10

This is the reason why God reminded the people that they are robbing Him as they are now depriving Levites their own share of the bargain since they weren't given any inheritance. Malachi 3:8-12

The covenant God has with that nation ended as they consistently decline playing their part of the deal {Jeremiah 31:31-33} this means there won't be any need for some people to serve as priests who aren't working anymore neither would any worshiper of God rely on whatever other worshipers bring to feed his own families rather all worshipers of God will know what is required to be holy no more sacrifices or burning of incense.

That New covenant began after Jesus died {Matthew 27:51} and resurrected the Old Covenant ended. Jesus revealed this using an illustration that he will demolish the temple and in three days rebuild it {John 2:19} from that day Jesus became the Highpriest and our spiritual temple. Hebrew 14:4

So the covenant through which tithing was established has been changed there is no need paying tithes anymore {Hebrew 7:5-12} nobody is serving as priest under Jesus to collect tithe because in the old testament it's the Highpriest who share the tithe after taking his portion. Musicians in the temple back then always sing so they also share in the tithes {Nehemiah 13:10} but today all of us raises our voices together to praise our God.

This doesn't mean if anyone feels like paying tithes he can't pay it but let them know that it has been cancelled among Christians!

So let me re-interpret this with my scientific mind in lay-man terms:
"Jesus came into this world in human form but was "assumed" a spirit possessed by a human body - After he died, his followers "dreamed" of him appearing to them at night high above the sky and he promised them he will come again in a dream to them".

Therefore, people should realize that they worship a "man".

Jesus wasn't like the usual pastors you know in your streets because he will not make a noise for people to hear his voice disturbing them {Matthew 12:19} neither does he call people to come and watch his supernatural acts the miracles occured out of pity for his people.

His disciples never see him as their God in fact he told them they are his brothers while himself and all his disciples have the same father and God! John 20:17

So once again that is another evidence most religions claiming Christians are FAKE!

Jesus wasn't a human when God created him but a spirit (angel) so when he came as human everything he is coming to do was listed, he has no choice than to live by what God wanted him to do.
After his death he resurrected the third day not as human again but as a powerful SPIRIT {1Corinthans 15:45} from that time he started showing himself only to his faithful friends until the day he departed left the planet and an angel told his disciples who were eagerly looking into the sky where Jesus was taken away from them:

“Men of Galʹi·lee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus who was taken up from you into the sky will come in the same manner as you have seen him going into the sky.” Act 1:11

So Jesus will never ever appear physical again we just have to watch out for things he promised regarding his presence in our midst.

He said when he returns there will be signs globally that a powerful spirit king is around! Matthew 24:3-14

Most are anticipating a flying man from the sky but have they seen Jesus before?

So it's by the signs that we will know Jesus is around not seeing him physically!🙂

Christianity in the B.C period, is just like politics where the people expect so much from leaders and get disappointed. By the way, I'm curious to know Jesus. I want to know why he was so slow to impress the people - is it because he was 100% human with limitations and not a superman at all? You just mentioned here, that God wanted to show his miracles because some worshipped demons - that's why I'm asking what miracles can God or his anointed men possibly do - or is God and His anointed persons in the bible physically inclined with zero spiritual powers?

My friend there was no time God asked people to keep any of the other laws neither. God's laws were in effect right from creation. That some were later given to Moses in written form doesn't mean that's when they started.
