Ezemust:The Oodua brand is in vogue! The Yoruba Commonwealth is trending!

aresa:Hold on my brother, are you sying this bridge is not owned by Ibos All along i thought this bridge was built by dianyin. Who else get money and the ingenuity to construct bridge like this for this obodo Nigetia? Yoruba don spent all their money on amala and ewedu doing owambe. Hausa has spent its money chewing goro and nama. Na only nwafor, the savior of Nigrria rich like this nau. |
Ooh, the daughter of Albert Einstein failed Mathematics. ......so what ? |

lincolnj88:It is not a script, this is your reality that Yorubaland is the only self-sustaining region in Nigeria. We have a region that outperforms its parent country! That's Yoruba pride. It is not the statutory responsibility of OOdua to rescue Osun from financial debts, that is what Nigeria contracted to do. When Nigeria is no longer able to fulfil its responsibility to Osun they should let us know so we can flood money from Oodua Investment Corp, from Ibile Holdings and other ssuer. Conglomerates operated under Oodua brand. Oodua Investment alone, not adding Ibile Holdings is a 70b worth in asset base, that's just from industrial manufacturing and sales, no oil based sector included in that asset. Add DAWN to the list! Add the recent admission of Lagos into Oodua Investment! You have heard of WEMABOD im sure, and you have heard of LAPAL House. WEMABOD alone has a finger in over 80% skyscraper real estate in Lagos. LAPAL is an investment syndicate and the mnemonic stand for Lagos,Paris, London. The syndicate has folded under Oodua Investments. IGR of Lagos and real estate assets and marine assets all now are co-owned under the Oodua brand. So the soon Nigeria is no longer capable of holding its side of contracts to any Yoruba state we would love to get a memo so we can gladly take over the welfare and sustainability of our people . In fact we have record of Nigeria witholding funding to Lagos for several years and guess what.....Lagos found its own funding internally. We did it before we can do it again, miltifold....with or without oil. So i must ask again, who are you in SS/SE that we need to join with you? What do you have for us in West? Absolutely nothing! If second niger bridge was in Yorubaland it would have been built decades ago....the niger dredging would have completed and ships would be berthing in the harbours years ago, the deep sea port would already have completed many decades ago. Combined SS/SE is worse than the least parforming Yoruba State. You guys in that region need a serious wake up if you think oil is what defines worth. You are worthless if you have oil and your region and people are the way you are now.....unable to influence anything in a multi ethnic nation. Shame to ogogoro sippers and snuff snorting mawderfakkers! ![]() |
SamMilla1:We depend on oil now and SS cant even carry itself, not to talk of supporting the whole country. If you turn off the oil and dry up the national revenue from oil exports, Yorubaland singlehandedly can sustain Nigeria. No other region or people has capability to do that. So who are you that we need to join you, what influence or power do you have from SS/SE to shape national events across Nigeria? ![]() |
Im going to report all these Yoruba boys to Ohaneze. Look how they turned nairaland to classroom teaching yanmiris about civic contracts and urban socialism. Chei!! ![]() |

Please please please, calling on nwafors to divert money spent developing Lagos to attend to this situation back in village. No more development of other people land until you sink your wealth in Ebonyi and eradicate this problem quick. I thought VVF was a problem in North, i was mistaken. |
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) yesterday said over 12,000 women are afflicted with Vesico Viginal Fistula (VVF) in Nigeria, with Ebonyi State having the highest of over 3,000 cases. USAID Deputy Mission Director, Aler Grubbs, who stated this in Abakaliki while handing over hospital equipment worth N47million to the Ebonyi State government, said the disease was ravaging women in Nigeria. She maintained that VVF is treatable and preventable as over 10,000 victims had been treated in the state and other parts of the country. She pointed out that over 450 doctors had been trained in the area of VVF surgery, adding that USAID would continue to partner with Ebonyi to eradication the disease. aressssa:Aresa, Why are you talking to my inlaws like this nau? Im going to report you to ohaneze. You are number1 enemy of Ibo. One post and you threw a bunch of nwafors in the lagoon. What kind of Yoruba are you, wicked! |
OBAFEMIawolowo:Same reason homosexuality is everywhere in Iboland and even your culture supports lesbianism. |
BlackPikiN:Shut ya trap! Akintola was promoting ethno-patriotism, there is nothing wrong loving one's root ....but because Ibos have abandoned roots and forgot their bantu ancestry you expect everyone else to abandon theirs. Hell no, that's not the way humanity works, you better get a grip!! |
mrkayusfit:This is CLASSIC! ![]() |
The guy is a British citizen, not Yoruba. |
If we post that Buhari installed Northerners in all the defence posts, are we hating or sharing facts? You Ibos are pathetic for calling this hate. This is history....a recall of actual events. |
Onwuatuegwu asked the Brigadier, “Get dressed and come with us sir. Those are my instructions; to bring you to the headquarters.” It sounded like nonsense to him. As the head of that headquarters since 17 February 1964, he was the only person that could give such an order. His wife Latifah, 8 months pregnant, planted herself fearlessly between her husband and the pointed guns knowing full well that if she remained glued to the comfort of their bed those weapons would not be diverted away from her husband. The Sardauna’s senior wife did exactly that at that moment somewhere else. (Any other Nigerian woman would have done the same. Contrary to what the New Feminists led themselves to believe, Nigerian women were never born to be weak. In the top bedside drawer was a service pistol. As a Brigadier, Ademulegun knew a pistol was no match for 6 soldiers armed with SMGs. But he would rather fight and die gallantly than degrade the honour of his office by surrendering to subordinates. As he made a dash for a quick draw, Onwuatuegwu opened fire on the Brigadier, his wife and the unborn. Cruelty resulted when anything stood in the way of the indefinite expansion of the will to power. Without Ademulegun dead, Nzeogwu could not preside over the biggest Brigade of the Nigerian Army. Ademulegun’s children Solape and Kole were in the next room. They heard all the clash and they were the first to see their lifeless parents surrounded by a pond of blood. Onwuatuegwu and his mutineers then strolled out across the street unchallenged by the guards to the home of Colonel Shodeinde, Deputy Commandant of Nigerian Defence Academy whom Ademulegun usually handed over the Brigade too when he was not around. They killed him too in cold blood with an angry grenade. After close encounters with Akintola and Ademulegun that could have claimed lives on the mutineer side, they played it safe and avoided close approach to Shodeinde. |
Then the coup plotters who were mostly Igbo complained of corruption overdose in government only to end up killing some non-Igbos in government while leaving corrupt Igbos unkilled. Tick. With the promise of revenge, the Igbos who were proud to say our boys did it began to beat a frightened retreat: “It was not an Igbo coup, a Yoruba man was among… Nzeogwu is Igbo in name only he is actually a Northerner…No, no, the coup plotters wanted to hand over to Awolowo… (but this claim never featured in Nzeogwu’s speech)” Bloody COWARDS!! ![]() |
Someone tell Buhari to read history.... |
A list of the combustive boxes they were ticking: Azikiwe, the head of government, Igbo. Tick. Mbadiwe, the proposed interim PM, Igbo. Tick. Nwafor, the existing senate president, Igbo. Tick. Nzeribe, the deputy speaker of the parliament, Igbo. Tick. Then the coup plotters who were mostly Igbo complained of corruption overdose in government only to end up killing some non-Igbos in government while leaving corrupt Igbos unkilled. Tick. This was one of the seductive narratives of Igbo domination that the dispossessed Northern politicians and the coalition of the offended succeeded in impressing on consciousness of the distracted nation in the following three months. The result? An organised mass slaughter, the like of which Nigerians only read in foreign news and in the final pages of the New Testament. |

APGA is an Ibo party, and APGA is rejected in 75% of Iboland, and that's not even talking about APGA performance outside Iboland. To illustrate for you how pathetic and sorry @$$ Iboes are.... If Ibos could, they will blame Yoruba for reasons APGA cant win Iboland. Punks!! |
Hrte is Hausaman, not a Yoruba o..but Hausa talking about cowardness in Ibo leadership. At a dinner party held for Sir Kerr Bovell the outgoing Inspector of Police in 1962, Abubakar told Bovell sitting next to him that: “When there is trouble you can always tell it because Zik will not be there – he will be in England, or America, or somewhere. He always thinks he is going to be assassinated, but he won’t be.” He then told Azikiwe seated on the other side: “Your Excellency, I am Muslim, and if it is the will of God for me to be shot, I’ll be shot.” |
HurtgenForest:Tell us names of the two Ibos that stood by him so we can cross check to be suretyou are truthful. In which war did Dahomey women conquer Oyo, please tell us. You dayam right, we are not in league with those who flee at the mere presence of opposition. Ibo is policing its own people in alaibo to calm fulani anger. |
HurtgenForest:Look again at that man in the picture sipping tea. The Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland. In your history no Iboman has ever had the strength of will and discipline of mind or the courage of spirit to tell a military Head of State "I'd rather die than surrender my political mandate". Aare Abiola did! Look at the linked picture here, Akintola, the titular Kakanfo predecessor to Abiola. He picked up his shotgun when Onwuatuegwu showed up at his uninvited. The Ibo renegade had to scamper and hide in the bush and call for reinforcement to kill this Yorubaman. He was supposed to load Akintola's body in the landrover and go dump away but the pygymy was so badly shaken by the confrontation that he feared to touch, much more move, the dead Akintola. When you use examples of cowardness, the Aares of Yorubaland are out of your league. There is no amount of Ibo that can be equated in strength, spirit and valor to one individual Aare. None! Ibo has never, in its history, had anyone with indomitable spirit on the scale of an Aare. You cowards! Your leaders capitulate their mandate at the mere sight of petronaira. Would you like a historical and chronological caption of Ibo capitulation? We have the record! Bloody effeminate cowards, trembling at the mention of fulani and policing your own youth and community so fulani is not angered. Shyyte!!

SamMilla1:You see, this is what Im saying. Go through your posts and count the number of times you used the word "kill" or inference of death. Ibo value system and social outlook is totally warped and unfitting for Nigeria. Starting from bottom up perharps it will do you good to worry more about the fact that Hausa want to separate from Nigeria, Ijaw want separation from Nigeria, Tiv, Igala....all these people, Yoruba, Edo, all want separation, not a single of them is happy cohabiting with traditions and values strange to them, yet never has any of them took foolish steps in their demands and opened themselves up for suicidal confrontation...the only exception to the rule is Ibo. So do you say Yoruba is your enemy? |
ANAMBRA11:I have held my tongue on the issue of SW voting out Jonathan to favor Buhari. It is time to speak to this. In the primaries of 2008, Obama against Clinton. Obama beat Clinton in Iowa, a traditionally white stthe and went on to clinch the Democrat Flag. Obama then also beat the Repblican McCain and won the Presidency election. Obama was not elected because Whites wanted anything from him or that they were slaves to Blacks or because they hated Clinton or McCain. These are all sentiments and illogical attributes. The mainstay of American politics and economy is white race, just as the mainstay of Nigerian politics and economy is Yoruba. America, due to the irresponsibility of Bush Administration, had become a liability and lost command of global influence. The custodians of the value system rebelled against their own and gave electoral power to a political rookie with an unfamiliar name and presence. Here in Nigeria, the Yorubas, the mainstay of the economy and politics of this nation, the custodians of our value system, went through the cycle in three phases: 1 - they demanded and got justice on political mandate stolen from Abiola. In the election of 1999 it was either Falae or Obasanjo, both Yoruba. 2 - in aftermath of YarAdua's death, Hausas dominated the throne and frantically rushed to rob Jonathan his statutory right by replacing the elected YarAdua with an un elected replacement from their midst. Ijaws were powerless, Ibos were powerless to oppose North and restore justice for Jonathan. The Yorubas opposed the Hausas and made sure Jonathan succeded and took the oath of office. 3 - Under Jonathan Nigeria became a liability, lost all glory and the Presidency became an embarrassment around the globe. In 2015 Yorubas once more stepped in to restore our national value stock. They opposed the candidacy of Jonathan. 4 - Yorubas voted Buhari in because we needed to restore the political credibility of Nigeria and it was evident Jonathan was "clueless" on what to do to keep the economy and political knots of this country from coming loose. Buhari does ot have a clue either, but they shored him up with a steady hand, a Yorubaman, to keep the stake at equity level so the aspirations of the Northerner can be tempered when a time comes again, as it often does, for Yoruba to jump in and correct errors. Those who grieve over Yoruba power at monopolizing political direction of the country are haters of our national value system. These people are intent on destroying Nigeria at all cost and anyone advocating a repair and restoration is an enemy of theirs. Anambra11, you SE/SS had plenty opportunity and options to retain Jonathan in power if the outcome of the election was unsatisfactory to you but you did not use any of your options. Buhari is in power because Yoruba voted him but Jonathan is out because you cowards failed to live to your threats that if Jonathan is not President nobody else will and you will burn Nigeria down. While Orubebe, a SS man was stopping the count in opposition of Buhari's victory Ibos were behind the scene whispering to Jonathan to pick up phone, congratulate Buhari and concede the election. It was a calculated move meant to buy them out of probe and jailtime. While results were still coming in we see Madueke and Ogar, hijab on head, next morning at cock crow visiting Abdulsalami to be their tenor in Aso. These were die hard pro Jonathan, already dumped their useless principal and looking for favors with incoming administration. Obiano was visiting and congratulating Buhari before any politician from West had done so. You Ibos need to cover your face in shame. Yorubas survive with or without Nigeria. In fact, in closing we ought to ask, can Nigeria survive without Yorubaland? |
