The English text (and i mean King James) is a literal translation of the Hebrew texts of the 5 books of Moses (much of the new testament isnt in hebrew by the way) . . . however it is NOT a 100% literal translation.
so ? are you drunk?  cheesy cheesy as bastage will always say, try again. . . .as it has already been established moses did not write all or most of the pentateuch. . .  most of the stories were written by unkown authours who then ascribed their writtings to moses. . . many christains believed that moses wrote all the books alone. . . .  back to the question of the thread how did the biblical god harden pharoahs heart? i bet he used a soldering iron. . .

The english bible is a literal translation of the hebrew texts. you are hugging the english text SIMPLY because it suits your warped agenda.
davidylan:
You seem to be fighting yourself here.
1. Translation error is no card . . . pelesheth is the original hebrew wording and it clearly has no relation to palestine.
2. What is silly is your insistence on hanging on to a false translation to push a preconcieved agenda.
3. The English bible is NOT a 100% literal translation of the hebrew text.
are you drunk or just outright stupid? as i aforementoined i almost thought you were intelligent. . . .you are really a know nothing slowpoke that graps at what ever straw that  will validate and keep him in his world of blind followership and delusion. . .  The other time you wrote that the english bible is a literal translation of the hebrew text now its is not a 100 percent literal translation of the hebrew text ,how stupid  and blockheaded can one be?

look who is talking. . . .you were the one that wanted to used the translation error card till i showed how silly it was now that you have nothing to say its best to attack me by saying it suits me. . . If the english bible is a literal translation of the hebrew text why then do we have about 80 different versions of the english text alone?

Do you ever say anything of your own? Here is where you copied the above bull from - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_of_the_Bible

Wikipedia . . . says a lot.
go ahead and refute it and stop foaming in the mouth. . . .

We know that what was originally written in Exodus was pelesheth, not palestina . . . you can continue foaming in the mouth.

The rest of your rants are not worth a response. Its way too full of holes.
can you show me the holes? keep on running around like maradona. . . . . use your independent ability to think and explain how jonah survied inside a fish for 3 days i thought you are a student of science? can you explain that using your knowledege of biology?

Grasping at straws? One for Joseph and one for Mary? Even though logically it either proves that the Bible contains utter irrelevancies or that Jesus had webbed toes because he was one interbred freak? Yeah. I'll lend you the straws when I've finished with them. After all - you need them way more.

Christianity Etc › Re: How Did God Harden Pharaoh's Heart? by mazaje(m): 8:04pm On Dec 09, 2008
That is a false evidence because it assumes that Moses was writing this books without the knowledge of anyone else at all. Infact we know that most of the books of the Kings (samuel, chronicles, Kings) were written by scribes (equivalent of speech writers today). It is more logical that Moses must have written the books ascribed to him with the help of scribes and associates who then included details about his death in the book of Deuteronomy (not surprisingly the last book of Moses).

There are tons of biographies today that are written by ghost writers.
This sums it up. . . moses might have had some writtings but he did not write the books, you have just stated it yourself that the books were ascribed to him. . . .which is true. . . what do you mean by not suprisingly the last book? you expected them to include his death in the second book? huh you are not serious. .sometimes i almost believe you are intelligent. . .if there were scribes inculed then you should go ahead and name them. . . . why are you talking about logic here? is this your own logic or that of the bible? can you use your logic to explain some of the things that were asserted in the books and some others like noah surviving inside a fish for 3 days or people living for over 900 years. . . can you explain to me using your own logic how the sun can stand for 48 hours just because the people of the biblical god commanded god to do so to enable them commit mass murderhow about talking snakes and donkeys. . . . the tower of babel and the noah's ark. . . stop talking about logic because christainity like every other religion does not involve logic. . . .

The original hebrew rendering is כשדים Kaśdm - meaning Ur-Kasdim not Ur of the chaldees as the english bible renders it.
the ancient Jewish historian, Flavius Josephus (c. 37–c. 100) says that Chaldea was founded by Arphaxad . . . a grandson of Noah.
The name "Chaldea" was first used by Romans and later authors to describe the Arphaxadites.
what does this explain? so now you are going againts the english bible translation because it suits you to do so huh huh what makes Flavius assertion better than that of other historians? how did he know that chaldea was founded by a grandson of noah? did he care to tell you the date it was founded? This is complete bull. . . .christians and grasping at straws. . . if we are to go by the original hebrew translation then so many things in the english and other versions of the bible do not correspond to the original hebrew text. . .  For instance, the word used in the masoretic text at Isaiah 7:14 to indicate the woman who would bear Emmanuel is alleged to mean a young, unmarried woman in Hebrew, while Matthew 1:23 follows the Septuagint version of the passage which uses the Greek word parthenos, translated virgin, and is used to support the Christian idea of virgin birth. Those who view the masoretic text, which forms the basis of most English translations of the Old Testament, as being more accurate than the Septuagint, and trust its usual translation, may see this as an inconsistency, whereas those who take the Septuagint to be accurate may not. so stop beating around and using the english translation card. . . .now the excuse is that its not as the english bible renders it,  tommorow the excuse will be its not as the hebrew bible renders it. . . you should be ashmed of your lame excuses. . . .whats wrong with i don't know?

This exposes your lack of intelligence and poor scholarship. The original hebrew rendering is "Pelesheth" which means "land of the philistines". It is erroneously translated to "palestina" by later translators of the hebrew texts
.

cheesy cheesy erroneously you say but who told you that it was erroneously translated? your fellow christain apologist? the person that exposes his lack of intelligence and poor scholarship is you. . . as i aforementioned when christains are exposed or put in a tight corner they resort to playing the translation error card. . . can you name one independent and established source that shows that it was erroneously translated?

these "facts" indicate one thing . . . a desperate attempt to cast doubt on the veracity of the bible. It also indicates intellectual dishonesty both on the part of the writer and the copier.

To claim that the phrase "unto this day" implies the writer was saying the aspects of hebrew culture still exist thousands of years after is laughable.
veracity? what veracity? the bible has no truth in it as the word of godit is the word of men mostly jews and europeans who ascribed it to their god. . . who talked about thousands of years. . . the pharse " unto this day" is a clear indication that the book or part of the book was not written by moses. . what difference does it make if its 10 or 20 years after the death of moses? the fact still remains that it has given enough evidence to show that that part of the bible was written after the time of moses not during the time moses or by moses himself. . . .

@ Mazaje, what else are you going to copy? Dr. Jason Long certainly gave people like you who are unable to think on your own plenty of red meat.
think on my own you say? that should be you i guesscan you think on your own and explain to me how jonah survived inside a fish for 3 days? please think on your own and explain to me how the stars will fall down into the earth on the day jesus shall return. . . ohhh i forgot that donkeys talk and evil spirits cause blindness please think on ur own and explain those to me. . . .

Before we delve into much detail of how we know who wrote what in the early Old Testament, you should have an understanding of the different components combined to form the five books of the Pentateuch. This “document hypothesis” states that there were probably four authors and an editor responsible for the compilation. Since it’s currently impossible to determine their hypothetical identities, we commonly refer to them as J, E, P, D, and R for the reasons we’ll now discuss.

J received his name because he consistently uses JHWH as the unpronounceable name of God. Issues relating to humanity are the primary focus of his writing. J even extends this humanity-based focus by portraying a uniquely human interpretation of God. This author is compassionate and shows none of the bias against women. Seeing as how J wrote a complete historical record of the Israelites from a Judean perspective, he probably resided within the Southern Kingdom of Judea. Based on clues found within his text, historians typically place a 950-750 BCE date on the work, which is about 500-700 years following the death of Moses.

E, whose primary focus is morality, acquired his name because he consistently uses Elohim as the name of God. E commonly emphasized the second born sons of families because they were of historical and personal interest to the North for symbolic reasons. Since E left us with a complete account of the Israelites from the perspective of the Northern Kingdom of Israel, historians generally believe that this was his domicile. Thus, we already have two independent accounts of early Middle Eastern history. Since the split of Israel took place no earlier than 950 BCE, it’s exceedingly unlikely that such a contrasting influence would appear in his work before that time. Consequently, estimated dates for the E document range from 900-700 BCE.

P obtained his name because he was almost certainly a priest. He identifies Aaron, the first High Priest, as his spiritual ancestor. His manuscripts include rituals, laws, sins, chronologies, genealogies, and other subjects of definite interest to a priest. In sharp contrast to J, P doesn’t attribute any human qualities to God. The Hebrew terms equivalent to mercy, grace, and repentance don’t appear once in P’s work, while they’re plentiful in the compositions of J and E. Furthermore, P is often cold and harsh with his writing unlike the more pleasant E. These interpretations and attitudes are what we would expect from a traditional church leader. He doesn’t include any mythical details, such as the ludicrous claims of talking animals, likely interpolated into history by J and E as a result of popular urban legends. As he was seemingly aware of the books of prophecy, while J and E never gave this indication, P probably wrote his share much later around 700-650 BCE.

D received his name because he was the author of Deuteronomy. It’s a good possibility that D wrote many of the historical books as well. It’s an even better possibility that he wrote the book of Jeremiah, which contains several carbon copies of statements made in the book of Deuteronomy. If this is the case, the author could be Jeremiah’s scribe, Baruch, or Jeremiah himself. D most certainly lived in Israel during a very spiritual era, the same era in which the likely author claimed to have discovered the book. Evidence for the document hypothesis indicates that the person compiling the Pentateuch tacked the author’s work onto the end of the compilation. Thus, we would expect it to have been created after, not in concurrent conflict with, the other three circulating versions of Jewish history. It then follows that the author probably finished it shortly before its “discovery” in 622 BCE.

We designate the individual responsible for combining the four accounts into one collection as R because he’s the redactor (editor). The process finally came to a conclusion some time around 500-434 BCE, but may have begun as early as the Babylonian Exile of 587-539 BCE. R also adds bits and pieces of commentary to make necessary transitions between the passages. The scholarly community consensually believes this redactor is the biblical priest Ezra.

To illustrate the document hypothesis, we’ll take a detailed look at the first eight chapters of Genesis. You may find it helpful to locate and follow along in a Bible before proceeding further.

One creation story scribed by P appears from Genesis 1:1-2:3. Notice that the first half of 2:4 doesn’t maintain the flow and seems to segue into the second creation account found in 2:4-2:25. That’s likely the redactor making a transition between P’s and J’s creation stories. J continues to the end of the fourth chapter with some recollections of stories centered on Adam and his children. Chapter 5 then hastily jumps in with some genealogy from P or R, but verse 29, written by J, seems recklessly tossed into the mix.

At the commencement of chapter six, J regains control and supplies a few verses set in the time immediately prior to Noah’s flood. This account abruptly stops following 6:8, and P’s story of Noah begins with his lineage. Furthermore, this section by P is an obvious repetition of the days before the flood, provided earlier in the chapter by J. Genesis 7:1 seems to pick right back up where J left off at 6:8. Genesis 7:6, written by P, appears haphazardly thrown in because it interrupts a cohesive story told by J. Verses 7:7, 7:10, 7:12, 7:17-20, and 7:22-23 tell one full story of the flood (J) while 7:8-9, 7:11, 7:13-16, 7:21, and 7:24 tell another (P). In chapter eight, J likely recorded verses 2, 3, 6, 8-12, the last part of 13, and 20-22, while the remaining verses stand alone as another complete story by the author P. If you happen to be carefully reading the texts in their native Hebrew language, you may even notice the contrasting writing styles of the two authors beginning to emerge
culled from the book biblical nonsense.

davidylan:
As usual, this one just swallows anything gullibly. How do you know Moses wrote nothing?
When were these books written?
you should say that about yourself not me. . . i will provide reasons to show that moses did not write the Pentateuch. . i want you to go ahead and refure them. . . .

1. The best evidence we have supporting the position that Moses didn’t write the Pentateuch is the description of his death and burial in the last chapter of Deuteronomy. . . How is that possible?

2. The inclusion of city names and tribes yet to exist at the time of Moses’ death, approximately 1450 BCE, is equally devastating to the traditional Mosaic authorship claim. Genesis 11:31 says that the Chaldees lived in the city of Ur during the life of Abraham, but historical records tell us that the Chaldees didn’t even exist as a tribe until well after Moses was dead. In addition, they didn’t become a prominent enough group to occupy a city until the sixth century BCE.

3. Genesis 14:14 mentions the city of Dan, but the city didn’t acquire this name until it was seized one thousand years later via conquest. Genesis 37:25 mentions traders with spicery, balm, and myrrh, but these weren’t the primary trade products of the region until the eighth century BCE. Isaac visits King Abimelech of Gerar in Genesis 26:1, but Gerar didn’t exist until after Isaac’s death and wouldn’t have been powerful enough to require a King until the eighth century BCE. Genesis 36:31 says that there were “kings that reigned in the land of Edom,” but there’s no extrabiblical record of Kings in Edom until the eighth century BCE. Exodus 13:17 details Moses’ apprehension toward entering the land of the Philistines in Canaan, but there’s zero evidence that indicates the Philistines occupied Canaan until the thirteenth century BCE. In addition, they couldn’t have sufficiently organized in threatening numbers until a few hundred years later

4.Moses references Palestine in Exodus 15:14, the only known mention of that name for hundreds of years. In Deuteronomy 3:11, Moses also mentions the city of Rabbath and Og’s location within the city, but no one outside of Rabbath could have held this information until it was conquered hundreds of years later.

5. Jacob is called a wandering Aramean in Deuteronomy 26:5, but the Arameans didn’t have contact with the Israelites until the ninth century BCE. Some particular names mentioned in Genesis 14 and 25 (Chedorlaomer, Kadesh, Sheba, Tema, Nebaioth, and Adbeel) are consistent with names of people recorded by the Assyrians as living during the sixth through eighth centuries BCE, not a thousand years prior. The writers never provide the names of Egyptian Pharaohs even though Moses would have readily known this bit of information.

6. Not only do these facts indicate a more recent authorship, they also suggest fabrications or alterations of actual events. Finally, many of the passages state that certain aspects of the Hebrew society are still the same “unto this day” (e.g. Genesis 26:33). This wording greatly implies that the complete record was finished well after the purported events took place.

Paul's Letter To The Evolutionists

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Reaching again. You've even managed to go back 500 years for some of your examples!!!

And just like DavidDylan you're claiming people to be devout Christians when they weren't.

Louis Pasteur is well known for not attending church although Catholics love trying to claim him as one of his own. Possibly he was Christian but "devout"?
Francis Bacon with his links to Roscrucianism and Freemasonry could easily be seen as "heretical".
Johannes Kepler was not only an astronomer but also an avid astrologist. Again "heretical". His mother was tried for "witchcraft".
As I've already pointed out, Isaac Newton was considered as a heretic.
Nicholaus Steno was so devout he didn't know what he wanted to be. Raised a Lutheran, he converted to Catholicism.
Andrew Ure was the role model for Shelley's "Frankenstein". Hmmm. Christian? Perhaps.
James Clerk Maxwell was a member of the Cambridge Apostles - known for homosexuality and Marxism. Also yet another who didn't know what he wanted to be and converting from Presbyterian to Episcopalian to Evangelicalism.
Others that you've mentioned, such as Jason Lisle whose work has been discredited by the scientific community, aren't big players.
Raymond V. Damadian claimed to have invented MRI but when the Nobel Commitee looked into it, they found that two other people had done most of the work and even after Damadian threatened to sue them they still awarded the Nobel Prize to the other two candidates. He was criticised and told that there is "No Nobel Prize for whining".

OLAADEGBU:
I will attempt to answer both objections at once if possible, I had to start from the beginning of the scientific method.

For your information, Science was actually developed by Christians who assumed that God created an orderly universe. Many of the founders of the principle scientific fields, such as Bacon, Galileo, Kepler and Newton, were believers in a recently created earth. The idea that science cannot accept a creationist perspective is a denial of scientific history.

I will start from the father of the scientific method, Sir Francis Bacon (1561-1626). He was the lord chancellor of England and was considered to be the man primarily responsible for the formulation and establishment of the so called “Scientific Method” in science, stressing experimentation and induction from data rather than philosophical deduction in the tradition of Aristotle. Bacon’s writing was also credited with the leading to the founding of the Royal Society of London. Sir Bacon was a devout believer in the Bible. He wrote the following phrase: “There are two books laid before us to study, to prevent our falling into error; first, the volume of the scriptures, which reveal the will of God; then the volume of the creatures, which express His Power”.

Johannes Kepler (1571-1642). He discovered Scientific astronomy, three laws of planetary motion among others. He strongly believed that “the world of nature, the world of man, the world of God” all fit together. He reasoned that because the universe was designed by an intelligent Creator, it should function according to some logical pattern. To him the idea of a chaotic universe was inconsistent with God’s wisdom. Kepler’s law of planetary motion were his greatest contribution to science. These laws had an enormous impact on scientific thinking, providing the groundwork for Sir Isaac Newton’s later work on universal gravitation. He discovered a new star (supernova); he analysed how the human eye works; he made improvements to the telescope and made other contributions in the field of optics. He published accurate data on the positions of stars and planets which were of immense importance to navigators. As a mathematician, he discovered faster methods of calculation and investigated the volume of many solid bodies.

Do I need to mention Isaac Newton (1642-1727). Who was a co inventor of Calculus. He also formulated the laws of motion and gravity. He computed the nature of planetary orbits, invented the reflecting telescope, and made a number of discoveries in optics. Newton had a profound knowledge of, and faith in, the Bible. Time and space will prevent me from mentioning the likes of Carl Linnaeus, the Swedish botanist who developed the double Latin name system for taxonomic classification of plants and animals, he also believed in the Genesis account of creation.

Other notable scientists like the Dutch geologist Nicholaus Steno (1631-1686), who developed the basic principles of stratigraphy. Bible believing English scientists in the early 19th century when the idea of millions of years was developed, such as chemist Andrew Ure (1778-1857) and John Murray around (1786-1851), entomologist William Kirby (1759-1850), and geologist George Young (1777-1848). James Clerk Maxwell (1831-1879) discovered the four fundamental equations that light and all forms of electromagnetic radiation obey. Maxwell’s equations are what make radio transmissions possible. He was a deep student of Scripture and was firmly opposed to evolution. These and many other great scientists have believed the Bible as the infallible Word of God, and it was their Christian faith that was the driving motivation and intellectual foundation of their excellent scientific work.

I must not fail to mention the father of Microbiology, Louis Pasteur (1822-1895), who was an outstanding scientist and opponent of evolution. Each time you go to the refrigerator and take out a bottle of milk, you should be reminded of the work of the outstanding French scientist, Louis Pasteur. He discovered Bacteriology, Biochemistry, Sterilization, Immunization etc. He also proved the scientific law that life came from life, He said that: “Microscopic beings must come into the world from parents similar to themselves”. This was a kick in the teeth to the evolutionists that have been peddling the fallacy of spontaneous generation and they still teach this in textbooks and schools inspite of the fact that it is unscientific, illogical, irrational and unreasonable. Despite all the efforts of the evolutionary scientists, not one observable case of spontaneous generation has ever been found, hence it remains a theory and not a fact.

Today there are many other PhD scientists such as I have mentioned in my earlier posts and also in the link suggested who reject evolution and believe that God created in 6 days a few thousand years ago, just as recorded in Scriptures. Russ Humphreys (PhD Physics), has developed among many other things, a model to compute the present strength of planetary magnetic fields, which enabled him to accurately predict the fields strengths of the outer planets. He was able to make these predictions precisely because he started from the principles of Scriptures.

John Baumgardner (PhD Geophysics and biblical creationist), has a sophisticated computer model of Catastrophic plate tectonics, which was reported in the journal Nature; the assumptions for this model are based on the global flood recorded in the book of Genesis. A biblical creationist Dr. Raymond V. Damadian, developed the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan that has benefited a lot of people. Georgia Purdon (PhD Molecular Genetics) and Andrew Snelling (PhD Geology) both biblical creationists and authors in Answers in Genesis. They certainly understand their fields and are yet convinced that they do not support evolutionary biology and geology but rather confirm biblical creation.

Jason Lisle (PhD Astrophysics), He made a number of discoveries about the nature of near-surface solar flows, including the detection of a never-before-seen polar alignment of super granules, as well as patterns indicative of giant overturning cells. He said that it was because a logical God created and ordered the universe that made him and other creation scientists expect to be able to understand aspects of that universe through logic, careful observation and experimentation.

The very basis for scientific research is biblical creation. This is not to say that noncreationists cannot be scientists, but in a way an evolutionist is not being consistent when they do science. The big bang supporters claim the universe is a random chance event and yet they study it as if it were logical and orderly. The evolutionist is thus, forced to borrow certain creationist principles in order to do science. The universe is logical and orderly because its Creator is logical and has imposed order on the universe. God created our minds and gave us the ability and curiosity to study the universe. We can also trust that the universe will obey the same physics tomorrow as it does today because God is consistent. This why science is possible. On the contrary, if the universe is just an accidental product of a big bang, why should it be orderly? Why should there be laws of nature if there is no law giver? If our brains are the by products of random chance, why should we trust that their conclusions are accurate? But if our minds have been designed, and if the universe has been constructed by God, as the Bible teaches, then of course we should be able to study nature. Science is possible because the Bible is true.

Women held many high offices in early Christianity and any Biblical passage stating that they are not to have authority is contradicted elsewhere in scripture.

Female authority was stamped out by male chauvanism. Nothing more, nothing less.
Christains should read the book of paul and tekla for more on this. . . i wonder why the book was excluded from the bible. . . . . perharps because of male chauvanism. . . . .

how can there be a heaven and a hell when both christains and moslems have people claiming to have been to those places? huh huh huh

lol well said. I think the major problem is deep down everyone believes in the concept of God. The "athiest" (just a sinner who rejects the notion of righteous living) wants a "god" who shld not have any rules and shld simply welcome everyone with open arms to heaven.
what is sin and what is righteous living? stoning to death some one who carries stick on a sabbath day as commanded by god in the bible or turning the other cheek when you enemies strike you? i know the rules of allah are very different from jehova and the other gods. . . christains have failed to tell us why jehova is a better god than allah, buddah or skivanah. . . . . .i live in an atheist country and is better than most of the godly countries i have ever visited. . what is righteousness? what and where is heaven. . . every religion that has its own heaven has it's adherants who have claimed to have been there so whats so special about heaven? which of the rules of god are you talking about? rules of god or men?
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Trinity Biblical? by mazaje(m): 9:16pm On Dec 03, 2008
The concept of trinity is hard even for the christain scholars to explain. . . jesus is god. . .jesus is the son of god. . . jesus is god's first creation. . . jesus ,god and the holy spirit are the same. . . . all of the above are found in the bible. . . so which one should christains and believers of the trinity doctrine choose and accept?

No. Man depends on man. In the case of the books you're talking about, man wrote a book about religion and then said "This is God". God didn't write the book and give it to man to distribute, whatever fundamentalists may claim. God isn't an author, neither is he a promoter.

As for your statement that God is yet to do a thing? How so? I could counter and say that everything in existence is in some way created or touched by God - either good or bad.
i am yet to see god(which ever one of them) send manna from heaven to the straving people living in dafur and other war torn regions of the world who are constantly calling unto his just like he did to the jews in wilderness in the bible and the koran. . .i could also counter and say which of the gods created the world. . allahs creation story in the koran is more elaborate and coherrent that that of jehova in the bible. . . and their creation stories contradict each other in some ways. . . buddah's creation story might differ from that of allah and from that of the other gods. . . .how does god create or touch things? man created a lot of the things in this world too. . . . i dont know if any god has created anything. . . . there are so many gods all with different creation stories, some of their creation stories are sensible and some not so sensible. . which of them created the earth and which of them is touching the earth? i say men created the gods in their own image what say you?

Just because organised religion has fallen prey to charlatans, bigots and liars does not mean that God does not exist.
The problem occurs when people see religion as the be-all and end-all. Both the fundamentalists and the atheists end up not seeing the wood for the trees.
You claim that God depends on "men of god" when it's actually the other way around - they depend on Him for their livelihoods and their wellbeing. God Himself depends on no-one.

The logic of your argument can only be directed at religion and therefore it's aimed at man. Not at a God who transcends religion.
Through out history and in every religion the gods have always depended heavily on men to do everything for them. . . men wrote the bible, koran, hindu text etc. . . men tell people about how their god/gods wants them to live their lives. . . men kill and fight for their god both in the bible and the koran. . . men give money to their god/gods. . men make sure that their god's will is enforced. . . me do everything when it comes to religion and worship, the gods(allah, jesus, buddah, skivna etc) are yet to do a thing. . . .

OLAADEGBU:
All these boils down to the incomprehensibility of God.  In latin they say finitum non capox infinitum which means that the finite man cannot grasp or contain the infinite.  We cannot squeeze God into a box that is, we as finite creatures work as finite planes.  We cannot capture everything about God and the moment we are able to do this God then ceases to be God.

God transcends the limit of human reason and therefore He is not only rational, He is super rational.  That is the reason why there is a limit to what the finite mind can comprehend when it comes to the nature of God.  To know God is different from knowing about God.  To know God we have to depend on revelation knowledge because God is both hidden and revealed, which theologians term as Deus abscondiitus.  God remains hidden to us, however, He has revealed Himself to us manifestly, verbally and generally, through His Word and through His creation.

God has given us a working knowledge of Himself to us that is functional for our living and daily relationship with Him.  He has also given us a language by which He communicates with us and the use of analogy.  Everything nature tells us something about God. Rom.1:19,20.  For more of how God has revealed Himself to us through the analogy, nature and His Word check the following link:

why does it take men like you and other god people to tell us who and what god is? why does god use people to propagate and promulgate his messages and teachings if he doesnt really want people to fully understand him. . . . this post is your personal belief and observation. . infact its your personal opinion about who you feel your god isthere are a lot of christains out there who will strongly disagree with your assertion. . . all people do is give their own personal and sometimes flawed opinions about issues and events after which they will then athuoritatively declear it as god's position. . .
