Just the way a lot of Nigerians believe their future is warped unless they travel abroad a lot of Nigerians in the hinterland believe when they come to Lagos all their problems will be over.

The problem caused by illegal Nigerian immigrants in Europe and America has brought us a very bad name. The jobs are not there.

The same way people who should have remained in their villages all want to be in Lagos.

With the advent of the internet and GSM the world has become a global village. Wherever you are you can do your thing.

The street market is there because the average Nigerian knows they hawker are there. They day they wake up and not find them they will adjust. That is the simple truth.

Development has never favored all the citizens of a country. Some will always be "swept" away by the change.

For example, when the computer came the manual and electric type writers had to give way. Though they can still be found in a a few places.

The woman who sells food by the road side claims she cannot afford to pay for a shop. But she makes money there everyday, pays no tax and as such keeps all her profit. Yet she "cannot" afford a shop. The street hawker and everyone says the same thing.

They create problems on the road and when they are knocked down by vehicles, it becomes a big issue. Meanwhiel they were not supposed to be on the road.

I witnessed and accident recently where a driver lost control of his car and ran over one of these people who have call centres along major roads.

Sentiments aside. Is this the kind of Nation we want?

Government can only as much as they can do. We must begin to do the right thing in this country.

A cousin joked that it's really funny that all these people have these beatific experience but rarely does any one come back claiming to have been to hell. If there were more experiences like this surely it would be a good testimony to help people stay on the right track. The only people claiming to have seen hell are those pastors and religious leaders that need the concept of hell to keep their people in check. Most lay people that have the experience claim beatific feelings.

A man once told us that he went to hell about 10 years ago in nigeria, he shared his testimony in church with us, he was very very sincere about it, i know a mo'slem woman who said she once saw an angel and the angel spoke to her in dubai she was going through some difficulty in her marriage and was contemplating sucide when the angel appeared to her and told her to take things easy and continue to be god to her husband, she sounded so serious and sincere, she was'nt a good mo'slem before the event happened to her but now she spends all day and night reading the ko'ran. why is it that people always claim to have seen or felt god the world over and the god they see or meet always reflect their religious beliefs? there are a few exceptions though,  i know a mo'slem man back then from maiduguri who claimed that  jesus appeared to him and he became a christain afterwards(his father almost killed him but he escaped narrowly), i also have read about a christian pastor who said that the angel gabriel appeard to him and told him to convert to is'lam, I watched cat stevens(a former christain) on television some years ago telling some people why he converted to the is'lam he said  he was drowning in the sea while surfing and decided to pray to god to save him,  he said he told god he will serve him all his life and with all his strength if god will save him from drowing and let him live, suddenly an agel appeared to him and told him to convert to is'lam to which he agreed and was miraculously taken to the sea shore, all his friends that were with him thought he was dead because he was missing for a while and they all saw when the stormy sea waves swept him away. this can't all be true because all religions believe that their way is the only way to eternal salvation, why are christains, mo'slem, jews and buddihist all claiming to have seen god and the god that has revealed him self to them is the god that their various religion subscribes to in most cases. i can't say if the people are telling the truth or lying because i was'nt there but what all their testimonies imply is that there are many gods , there just can't be one god thats if any exist in my own opinion.

I saw on the TV the other day as i was flipping channels a mo'slem man from yemen, who said he was taken on his sick be to the world beyond where he meet the prohpet mo'hammed who showed him the gates of heaven and hell from a distance, he described in details what he saw and was weeping profusely as he was sharing his testimony, he said he saw the angels but he was'nt allowed to see all'ah because he has'nt been chosen to enter paradise because only those that are in paradise have the previlage of seeing all'ah. the guy also said that the doctors had already decleared him dead  and one of  the doctor came on air together with him and corroborated his story because there were two doctors in the room with him and they both decleared him dead, he said that he came back to life inside the car when his body was on its way home for burial(about 5 hours after he had been pronouced dead by the doctors), his brother also corroborated that story too, i have heard about christains too who have claimed to have been to heaven and meet jesus and the angles, if there really is a god then which is it? christain , moslem, jewish, hindu, buddhdist or what? since all the religions claim that their way is the only way to life while all other ways lead to hell. it wont be suprising if there are buddhist monks or jewish rabi's who are also making that claim of going to heaven and seeing  god  and the god they saw or meet is the same god that their religion subscribes to.

Please can you provide answers to the questions i asked above? I will like to engage in an objective discussion with you hope you have the open mind to engage, will be waiting for your reply since you have made a flat out assertion that you believe in the biblical god and hence he must be the one that controls everything in the world and he alone is god.

If there is a god then which is it? is it all-ah, jehova, buddah, the hindu gods, horus, kuns,zeus, sango,shinto, ba'al, ajenaku. . . . . . .  which of the gods or goddess should we believe in. the mo'slems believe very well in their god and believe that he answers their prayers and takes very good care of them, they believe that all his revelation in his holy book(ko'ran) will surely come to pass so do the christains and all the other religions in the world. what i fail to understand is why a god that revealed himself to people in the first centuary living in middle east(christains, mo'slem and jews)  throw over 2 billion people living in asia(india and china) who he never revealed himself to at any point in time in history in hell for enternity for not believing in him. it just does'nt make sense to me. the other day i was talking to a christain friend and she told me that he likes chinese people but its just unfortunate that they will all end up in hell(lol) when there is no mention of china in the bible even though china was existing at that time and when no prophet was sent to them from the bible or the ko'ran.

If you read the bible, ko'ran and other religious text with an opened mind u will see that there are a lot of good things and a lot of things that just don't make sense in them but the bottom line is that there is nothing in them that can not be written by any man even though i will admitt they were written by great men who wrote what and how they understood the world and how they believe life should be lived here on earth. Religion has more to do with imperialism and expanding a particular ideology and culture that is seeking to dominate the entire world. the mo'slems believe that the arabs are the people that were choosen by all'ah hence they should be highly respected while christains believe that the jews are the people that were choosen by god. the chinese believe they are the chosen people by their various gods, while the indains who are mostly hindus believe they are the chosen people by their various hindu gods and goddess and the saga continues, if god can physically reveal himself to the people living in the 1st centuary then why would'nt he reveal him self to the world in these mordern day and time?

so many mo'slems have claimed they have meet god in one way or the other, same with so many christains, i believe there are jews that are claiming that they have meet him too, it will not be suprising if there are hindus or buddist monks who will tell you they have meet him in one way or the other and they will all tell you that the god they meet or encountered is the same god that revealed himself in their holy books or the god that their religion subscribes too. i can't say that those who claim to have seen these revelations are lying because i was'nt there when they saw their revelations but if there really is a god then which one is it? because all the gods in all the religions claim they are the way, the truth and the life and no one goes to heaven unless they subscribe to their ways as revealed in their holy books be it the ko'ran ,the bible the mormon bible, hindu text, buddhist text etc. if there is a god the which one is it? , what makes jehova the god of the bible better than all'ah the god of the ko'ran?  why is the jewish god a false god and what makes all'ah better than buddah? why is is'lam false and why should christainity be regarded as the truth? why should judaism be discarded?what makes sikhism a false religion and why should their god be discarded?  why is is'lam better than buddhism? what makes kuns less of  a god than all'ah and why should jehova be regarded as a better god than zeus? why is all'ah better than jehova? why should jehova the god of the bible be trusted and believed in and not alla'h? why is kuns better than horus? why do all  the gods of all religions claim they are the alpha and the omega the creators of the heavens and the earth? and why do their followers always claim that they have encountered or physically seen them in one way or the other? and who are you to say that those that claim they have seen or encountered other gods other than the one you believe in are lying and who told you the god of your religion is the only true god? This story does not make sense at all but the christains apologist will always rise to the defense of the bible, there are no polar bears in the middle east are there? what about kangaros, dolphins, seals, koalas, tigers and so many other animals that are not found in the middle east? why is there no mention of China and India the highest populated countries in the world in the bible, even though there were existing at that time? why is isreal the only country god chose in the bible? why didnt he choose india which was existing at that time. The only reason is that the people did not know any thing about China and India at that time else why would god not include the most populated countries on earth in his book even though the were existing at that time? that doesnt make sense, does god of the bible have no plans for the people of china and india? if god created every body on earth as the bible claims why does he have no plans for the people living in china, india and the america's in the bible?why didnt jesus revel him self to them? the bible is just a fable filled with idea of the 1st centuary same with the Ko'ran which is another fable all were copied from the torah and all are about protecting a particular group of people in the bible its the jews,in the ko'ran its the arabs, in budahism its the people living in china and the whole wahala continues.
