of all the questions i asked is this they only one you can respond to? are you kidding me? i am sorry i didnt phase the question the way i was supposed to but what i meant to say is this, why is it ok for god to order people to kill, steal, loot and destroy other people on his behalf and to the glory of his name but orders them to stone to death some one who kills another person?why does god need people to kill his enemies and the enemies of his people ?why can't he destroy his enemies himself? why must it be people that kill for him? what is it with god and blood? whydoes god love violence so much and yet frowns at people when they engage in violence? why is it ok to commit violence on god's behalf and yet bad to engage in violence on your own? why is it ok to kill non jews and not ok to kill jews? why is it ok in the eyes of god to enslave non jews but wrong to enslave your fellow jews in the bible, or is god partial?

your understanding is limited, you cannot and will not be able to comprehend God's wisdom and great plan from this side of eternity.

You raised good questions, but those are based on a limited human understanding.

One thing you should realise is that God is SOVEREIGN - meaning that he can do what He pleases, and we know from the bible that God is GOOD. It may not appear Good from our limited perspective, but it does not change the fact. Knowledge and wisdom is progressive - you are speaking based on the current level of your understanding, which as I said, is limited at best.

The part about Eve's offspring having enmity with the snake is not talking about human beings and snakes, it is talking about Jesus Christ and the Satan.

God can do what he pleases and yet we his children according to the bible can not do what we please , does that make sense to you? i want to know what is good when god tells people to commit muders, carry out massacre, loot, and steal people's lands all to the glory of his name in the old testament. what is good and merciful about a god that tells people to stone some one to death in the old testament for working on the sabbath day. i want you to tell me what is good about a god that sends lions to devour little kids for playing with one of his prophets.i want you to tell me why i can not understand gods plan even when the bible says that humans were created in his own image and likeness? why is the god of the new and old testament different? who wrote the first four books in the bible? according to the bible moses did but when you reason and look at it critically you will realise its all lies, why? because a person can not write about, what happened before his birth. a person can not write about his own birth, his own death, and what happened years after he died all at the same time, which is exactly the case with moses so its all false. most of the stories in the first four books of the bible are fables adopted from accient religions that predated judaism.

About the enemity between jesus and satan that you very wrongly tried to link all i can say is that keep it coming lol. are you kidding me? why should god give people limited understanding and want people to use it in worshiping him? i know you will come up with the issue of the holy spirit but what is the holy spirit? have you ever seen the holy sprit? have you ever heard from it? if the holy sprit can reveal it self to you why can't it reveal it self to some one in japan, china or thailand? why do you have to be the one explaining gods positions to people? if he is all mighty and all powerfull why does'nt he do it him self? why are there over thirty thousand different sects(religions) of christianity most of which are knoncking heads with each other?. why can't god just end it all since he really wants people to worship and praise him all the time? why are there so many versions of islam? why was china, the americas and india not mentioned in the bible even though they were existing at that time? why was there no prophet amongst them?

will a loving and merciful god punish the billions of people living and chaina, india, thailand, korea, buhtan, burman, nepal, sri-lanka etc in hell forever simply because they do not believe in him? why did'nt he send his prophets to them? why were they not mentoned in his holy books? have you ever studied religious anthropology? have you ever taken time to study the history of the bible and christianity? have you ever studied the koran? have you ever studied its history? people have been using religion to explain how the understand the world and and the fear of what will happen to them when they die. i believe in sprituality, logic and evidence i just don't believe in fables. if god wants every body to worship him there will be only one religion in the world. and if god is god we wont be using satan as an excuse because from all indications satan has appeared stronger than god. since according to most religions god and his creatures are always battling satan and satan seems undefeated. man did not create satan god did according to the bible, so if god is all loving and merciful he will do away with satan so that peace will reign in the world, but because its all a fable people are always trying to provide answers and when they realise that their answers are not satisfactory enough they say that we have limited knowledge or that people can not understand spritual things. the moslems will say that who so ever allah has sent astray no body can put him on the right path. are they for real? allah setting people astray?

these fables just don't add up, why did god give people free will since he wants all the people in the world to worship and priase him all the time? no body ever asked for any free will, why does god need people to spread his word on his behalf ? why did god have to send a man to save the world? why did he not just appear in the sky to the whole wide world so that people will see him and believe since he is all so powerful and wants every body to worship and praise him? if he truely exist he will come around and tell people what he wants to be done.why did jesus have to die? what is it with god and death? why does god love blood soo much? what is it with god and violence why does he love violence so much? why did god only reveal himself to people in the 1st centuary and not now? why didnt god reveal him self to people in china, india or the americas? why are there no prohets from these people in the bible or the koran?  these fables are a complete drivel. what does the bible mean by the snake has been cursed and for that it will crawl with its belly? what does the bible mean by snakes eating dust for ever? do snakes eat dust? what does the bible mean by saying that an enemity will exist between the woman, her offsprings and the snake? is that the case today? we have people playing, taming and living with snakes in some parts of the world. we have people that worship snakes so what is it with all these 1st century fables and lies?

Because when your are asked direct questions you prefer to run around it without answering because your faith has been put into question. who is a real christain? why are there over 30 thousand denominations each claiming they hold the true knowledge of the bible and the message of jesus? why are there over 80 translations of the englsih bible alone? why do each sect in the christain religion portrays it self as an independent religion? why all the divisions? have you read the history of christainity and the bible? go ahead and answer the question and stop making excuses for your self.

Thats why i don't believe in religion, there are about 6.7 billion people on earth out of which about 1-2 billion  are christains. what  happens to the about 5 billion people who are not christains ? will they burn in hell for eternity for  not believing in a religion that they weren't born into? if you look at the bible there are no Chinese or Indian prophets, there are no prophets from the Americas, in fact those places were never mentioned in the bible and yet people go about claiming that jesus is the way to heaven, which heaven if i may ask and where is heaven? lol. make wuna dey there dey deceive wuna selves.religion like race is not a persons choosing, most people were born into their race and religion and they have little or no power or control over it. no sensible god will throw people into hell to burn for eternity over what they have absolute no power upon

All religions were created to answer the very difficult questions people had about the purpose of life and the pesky question of what happens to a person when he dies, every race and group of people during the medieval times tried to give answers to those questions and came up with some set of guidelines in other to explain the unexplainable about life ,its purpose, nature and death. Those cultures where then embedded in the life styles of the people and it kept moving from one generation to generation whilst undergoing the process of evolution, thats why in the bible we have the new and old testament.

the god in the old testament is definately not the same god in the new teatament, we have the god in the old testament ordering people to kill , maim and loot the treasury of non jews because it was the practice at that time, the jews wanted to keep themselves together and they had to encouarge each other and give justifications for engaging in wars with their fellow neighbours hence the resorted to the idea that they were the chosen people by their god to give moral justification for all the killings, looting, stealing of land, and enslavement they made their enemies undergo telling their people that they were commanded by their god to do so because their enemies too had their own gods and didnt believe in the god of the jews,when actually they were just looking for reasons to carry out their henious crimes and sometimes unjustifiable wars against their enemies.

human and animal scarifice was the norm hence it was encouraged by god in the old testament. but because the moral ziegiest had shifted and those babaric acts that were encouraged and sometimes commanded by god in the old testament were no longer acceptable to the people the founders of the christain religion came up with the new  testament (new ideas or new begining), in it was the divinity of jesus who came to the world as god to do away with the old and evil ways of the old testament which could not hold any ground because there was little  universal morality to be fechted or learned from the old and primitive way(old teatament) the jews in the old testament were encouraged to love  god and their fellow jews but not the non jews . that doctrine could not be used universally so a new and universally accepatable doctrine had to be invented hence the idea of the divinity of jesus who now came to end practices like stoning to death of wrong doers, putting and end to fighting the enemies of god and his people,destruction of people by god for trivail reasons,love of the poor was espoused, giving women rights because they had very little rights in the old testament, and providing an end to the wrongful stealing of peoples lands in the name of god by the jews, and better treatment of slaves was advocated by all people.

monogamy was then gradually introduced and the love of god and man was highly encouraged instead of love of jews only which was what was advocated by the prophets and god himself in the old testament. Because the moral ziegiest had shifted the idea of trinity sprang up came into being and gave people reason to believe in god in a different way with a coherent explanation(trinity was integrated with some parts of the pagan worship doctorines at that time for some political reasons). the introduction of holy spirit, hell and other ideas came up in the new testament to conform with the mindset of the people and provide the answers for life after death and the purpose of living but this time the religion was opened for innovation, the religion was dynamic and was made to be an all inclusive religion for the whole of man kind not only for the jews as was in the case of the old testament.

the same thing is what is happening in islam but the problem with islam is that there are no grey areas like christainity (which is constantly evolving), there are no cutting edge areas in islam that is why people find it hard to understand it. islam highly discourages innovation and wants people to live their lives in the medieval ages which is not possible in this day and time hence the deviation and constant explanation by islamic apologist. the rules set by islam can hardly stand in todays world but coherant excuses have been provide by the religion to dispel the charges of the critics same as christainity.Islam only attacks and denounces chriatainity and judaism by name because those where the only religions that the founders of islam knew were in existance at that time, if they had known about hinduism, shinto etc they would have attacked and denounced them by name too. if god can reveal himself to a particular group of people in the mediaval ages then i wonder why he refuses to do so in this modern day and time. if there is a god he would explain himself to his creatures and will not allow his creatures to tell their fellow creatures what he wants of them, if god can tell pastors, rabbis,imams etc what he wants people to do and how to live their lives why not appear and tell people to do so himself because the song is always better from the horse's mouth. if god can tell a pastor,rabbi, imam etc what verse to read from the bible,torah or koran why can't he come out and tell people himself. why give people free will which they never asked for and throw them in hell for going against it? why reveal your self to some of your creatures and not others and punish those that you refused to reveal your self to for eternity for not believeing in you. those that make any sense?

The division in christainity and the uncountable sects tells you that it is purely a man made religion just like every other religion(islam,hinduism,judaism,shinto,buddahism etc) even the bible has so many versions and translations, christains can not come up with a single and acceptable brand that will be adhered to the world over. islam too has the same problem but unlike christainity the sects are not too diverse. I don't believe in any religion but i still like religion because it gives people hope and provides internal peace and justice to the helpless, it gives people reason to live and look forward to a better future despite that fact that it is responsible for one of the biggest division in the world today it still is a necessary evil.

on the contrary every one is born to acknowledge and believe in the existence of a supreme being (GOD) and that is why over 95% of the world's population believe in th existence of God leaving only a very inconsequential[b] than 5%[/b] hallucinating within themselves about the possibility of the non existence of god  which in it self sounds absolutely insane. I can accept if a man does not believe in a particular religion or all the various religions, but when a man says there is no God because he as a problem with a particular religion or belief system, such a person needs to be seriously examined.

This statement is not true atheist, agnostics and non religious people(people that do not believe in any religions)  account for over 1 billion people in the world today thats about 15% of the people in the world. Atheist ism is on the rise the wold over, it has taken over europe and the number has risen from a mere 10 million in the USA to over 50 million in over 30 years and is still on the rise, and the main reason is that people are gradually becoming disenchanted with that fallacies of religion.
