Thank you very much for your response. I applied for visitor/tourist visa (TRV) then. Right now, i am planning to visit Barbados as a tourist but bc i would be transiting tru canada, i require a transit visa. Any info you can help with would be appreciated.

I noticed you too many times not once you been critical. Who is God and never makes mistake? I remember writing that you have to be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to order the Gcms notes for $5, apparently anybody in Canada even one without legal status can do so. Someone said stop misleading people. Me mislead? I am of the opinion that some people need to learn manners. Just correct someone without using high falutin language. Even the best people among us make mistakes.

2. Tourist (with family of 2 kid)

3. Student visa(only me and I'll work on how the family will come and join)

Hi guys, please I want to ask a quick question. My parent is considering selling a property that the money gotten from it will cover my tuition and upkeep with extras. Now the question is how do they show this in the sponsorship letter and it ll fly instead of account statement cos their account statement cant work at all becos they are just doing petty things, and getting a co sponsor is tight now cos they are only offering their account statement nothing more.

My dad does still have hectares of lands though if after we sell this said property. Please advice needed. Thanks

Though, I get supervisor for a PHD in mechanical engineering in Canadian university, but without funding, he said if I can get funding that they will supervise me they are two professor working in the same laboratory, they said if I can get robust funding from my home country, my question is that can I divert ptdf and Bea scholarships if God favored me it, I applied for it.

I was just thinking I can just use the college admissions as backup incase PHD does not succeed

I don't have any funding anywhere unless God do a miracle. Yes the total amount is about #8-9million.

I received my trv today. I want to travel end of this month but I'm worried that I might have issue at airport in canada because my university resumes in september. Can I enter Canada 7 months before my uni resumes I'm just going early to acclimatize with the weather and culture etc .
pls advise me.. I dont want to go there and get turned back at the airport. I'll cry because of the transport money lost and disappointment.

I need a guided advice pleaseeeeeeeeeeee.

I applied for study permit together with my two cousins and my parents acting as a co sponsor to them then we submitted the application together now

if there is a mistake found in any of my cousins application can we all be refused ( both me)
And if they are refused based on insufficient funds will I also be refused

In my case my friend want to send send 15k dollars into my dorm Account and pay for incidental fee. More so my friend-and I are not b in in same country

OFFICIALLY, Canada is not one of the countries that PTDF sends Nigerians to. I presume if you are awarded the scholarship and you've a Master's/PhD offer from a Canadian school, you can use it.

See the attached and also check previous years to know the countries listed. You wont find Canada.

Has PTDF started sending Nigerian students to Canada? I'm aware that PTDF, NDDC etc., scholarships are respected but they dont send Nigerians to Canada. If they do, then it's not OFFICIAL. That was why I didnt mention them. Maybe those with 'long legs' can switch it to Canada. Anything is possible in Nigeria.

PTDF sends Nigerian students to the UK only, but last year they sent some Nigerians to the UK, US, France; tuition free universities in Germany, Brazil and China. This year PTDF is not going to send any Nigerian to the UK or US; but France, Germany and China.

If you've funding from a Canadian University for your program and it's a progression to your career, pls by all means apply for it. Send me your CV & SOP let me help you to review it. I can assure you that the outcome will be favourable in Jesus name. Enough of this fear of applying for a visa even when the program is going to be fully funded.

N/B: if your funding is coming from Nigeria, pls dont bother to send to me because VOs dont take Nigerian scholarships serious.

Those Why's are the questions the Visa officer will throw at your application. So prepare to present a rational explanation to each of them.
Of course yes people go for conferences in Canada sponsored by their respective companies/Firms.
Well, I'm not a Visa officer, but from my experience Sir, The duration/length of your program has alot to do with your visa. We have seen so many cases of applicants applying for a year program and got denied with.... PURPOSE OF VISIT AND LENGTH OF STAY IN CANADA talk more of 2 months program.

Above is my intake. But you may decide to give it a shot, If you think you can convince the visa officer.

I'm working in a government establishment n I have been given a study leave approval... So..

*Apart from landed property what else can be my home ties or d study leave letter Will be enough.
*Apart from the affidavit that will be sworn by my sponsor what else can be used to notarize d situation.. D question of paying tuition fee is out of it cos d institution advice against it.

I am afraid that the VO may think that i will not ve enough for transportation considering having only 250,000 Naira in my personal account.

I am going for two years Masters program at MUN.

Please i will like to know if it is OK to submit an application with an acceptance letter printed from a soft copy that was sent into my email. I am asking because the university graduate school is not ready to sent a hard copy of the letter after l ve contacted them.

I will also like to know if i can apply as a self sponsor considering the fact that my annual tuition fee is CAD4,300. I ve paid CAD10,250 into my student account at the university and I ve an annual funding of CAD10,488, but I only ve 250,000 Naira in my personal account that i want to apply with.

Please all suggestions are warmly welcome.
