If a majority say they want a thief, why cry more than them. Allow them their choice and let them live with the consequence. Jonathan never forced his choice down our throat, when he knew he was no longer popular, he had no choice.
Did APC or Buhari struggle this much iun 2015? No! It was obvious Nigerians were tired of Jonathan. Same thing is repeating itself.

If it takes rigging to prevent a thief like atiku from ruling Nigeria, I'm all for it.
If it takes rigging, it simply means your candidate is not popular enough. Allow the people's wish prevail just as Jonathan did.

This is not about Jonathan, we've passed that. I just as Obasanjo refused to support Jonathan in 2015. I supported Buhari, my nairaland posts are there to confirm.

If people refused to vote Jonathan because of Bokoharam, why do you think Buhari will get votes with Herdsmen on rampage, inflation, hunger and loss of jobs?

The only thing that made Atiku wealthy is corruption.

All must be fair to him.
Being corrupt is one thing, rigging to get elected is another. This is a democracy for goodness sake, if a majority say we are okay with a corrupt man just as Osun preferred a dancing senator, grant them their wish.

It's a shame knowing people don't want you, but you still forcing them to. How Buhari lost his 2015 popularity and charisma beats me cause I too was once a supporter.

I can guarantee you, after the results of the presidential election is announced, Atiku would be seeking the intervention of USA yet he won't find it.

Save this thread for future reference.
If the election is credible and fair, he need not do that. Who wants to vote in insecurity(herdsmen), poverty(Nigeria now poverty capital), tribalist(all security heads from the North) and insincerity (certificate saga of his ministers without coming clean till Nigerians were on his neck), corruption(Nigerian AirGate), etc?

They have fought for it, they deaerve it. When PDP was in disarray, the region stood behind the party. Many here even said PDP is IPOB's party, with some insisting the party has been reduced to a regional party of SE.

Let's endeavor to say the truth at all times.

The best strategy for Atiku is to pick running mate from South West and promise SS and SE a better offices when he wins the presidency. Atiku needs to match Buhari in dividing the South West votes. It will be a good advantage of him to pick Christian Yoruba runing mate if he want to win Buhari at the poll.
And who says Atiku can't loose the SS/SE if he makes that move. Many of you here have said he already has both regions in his pocket, yet you forget a labourer is deserving of his wages. You say SE should not benefit from Buhari cause they never voted him, yet you want SW that haven't shown support for Atiku all these while to take home Vice Presidency.

S.E has shown loyalty to PDP all this and deserves compensation. S.W can decide to vote APc again afterall we are all in Nigeria suffering or enjoying the consequences together.

What you are not getting is that competence does not play in Nigerian politics

Am sure a local illiterate will win you in an election on your street cos he is closer to the people

Atiku is not close to half of Buharis popularity

You need do a ground check
Buhari isn't has popular as he used to be. He's lost followers. Go on the streets and find out. At least here on natural and, he won polls against GEJ in 2015, but now can't garner enough votes against a stone. His performance has been abysmal.

Go tell that to Beremx. I bet you are even tired of Buhari too, but shame no let you talk. I used to support the man too. If you are honest with yourself, at least in 2015, he won many polls on social media. He is just not as sellable as before, not after the hunger, economic hardship, ethnic appointments, "lazy youth", NYSC scandals, and most importantly herdsmen massacre. Heck, that guy has lost supporters. Even the S.W that voted him earlier, will rethink their stance, but for Tinubu's influence.

So why are you pained & making noise everywhere that the APC rigged & describing it as a rape on democracy when you know the PDP that you support also rigged in the same Osun election? So if the PDP had won it would have been free & fair, & democracy would have won when you know they also rigged? Or did you expect the APC to play fair & just allow the PDP rig alone?
Next time, don't put "change" and "APC" in same sentence. Bunch of deceivers.

All I said was that PDP just like APC aren't saint, it's a case of the best schemer (scamer) winning. Nigeria will be a better place without APC and PDP (members). Also, INEC tried but the political parties and the security forces are the one to be blamed for the obvious floors.
Which government is in charge of the security forces? Who appoints and pays INEC boss? Is APC supposed to rig at all, we thought they are our Messiah? The joke is on those of us that believed APC will change the way things are done. Obviously, they crafted "change" only because they wanted to seize power.

PoliticsRe: Fayose Reacts To 2018 Osun Election by mcquin(m): 6:38pm On Sep 28, 2018
PVision2020:
As an Osun indegene, the election of 22nd September was fair to the three major parties (PDP, SDP, APC) though it wasn't fair to the people because the three of them openly raped democracy by massive vote buying, rigging and intimidating oppositions in areas of their strength (Osogbo - apc, Ede - pdp and Ife - SDP). What happen at the rerun was that APC using the security forces stopped and checkmated pdp rigging and vote buying machinery while APC had a field day.
So, Pdp doesn't have the moral and to a large extent legal justification to question the election result.
This Two party APC and PDP doesn't deserve our headache, they're simply two side of the same coin.

Permit me also to say that the electoral umpire was above average. Inec doesn't control what happens outside the electoral arena, that's the work of the security forces. To the best of my knowledge, vote were casted, counted and signed by all the parties agent in full glare of the populace and observers and a copy of the result was handed over to each of the political parties and the security forces.
Even the deduction of votes claim by PDP is untenable, you can do that in 2007 but not in 2018. Nobody rigs an election by subtraction and addition again in Nigeria when the copies of the official result is with other 47 party agents.
APc had a field day egging after checking PDP and you are out here brazenly supporting them as led by "Mr Integrity." Why even "use" security forces against another party? So much for "CHANGE."

What do you mean by rigging? In the main election, didn't the APC win 3/4 of these local governments where the rerun took place, with the PDP coming a distant 3rd behind Omisore's SDP? Were you expecting the PDP to now win the rerun with APC & SDP collaborating?
Nawa for these PDP sycophants!

Currently we dont have INEC officers kidnapped like PDP did with Ayoka,
We dont have NURTW impeaching sitting governors
We dont have FG withholding opposition states allocation
Was the Osun state election militarized and rigged in APC's favour? If "yes," then nothing has changed. The good thing is, as we continue to destroy our process because PDP once destroyed it, in the end, we are all in it together. We don't have another country. So enjoy the further ruins APC brought. How the PDP conducted Ekiti 2014 election

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bqo2iMdCEAA4eLL.jpg

Security operatives have arrested prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 16 local government areas of Ekiti State ahead of tomorrow’s governorship election.

In something like a commando raid in a movie, joint teams of security operatives comprising the army, mobile police and State Security Services (SSS) this evening embarked on the indiscriminate arrests and generally terrorizing people.

Among those arrested, in Iye Ekiti, the headquarters of Ilejemeje Local Government, Mr. Olaiya Popoolati was picked up by the security men and whisked away to an unknown destination. Another leader, Chief Kehinde Babatola who was also earmarked for arrest, had his wife picked up when he could not be found at home

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Man Who Climbed Mast To Protest Against Buhari Lands In Serious Trouble by mcquin(m): 8:31am On Sep 27, 2018
Also Rock is a public facility built with tax-payers money. It's no property of Buhari, so why charge him with trespass. It's different if he destroys public property.

People visit the White House, they may not get to the Oval Office for want of security clearance, but that's it- SECURITY, not trespass.

My humble opinion though.

If you can't respond to my argument logically, then why not stay quiet and off my mention.

Don't go around crying about people who hate Buhari. Tell him to implement the party manifesto on which we voted in APC-restructure the federation, end herdsmen attack, put an end to his ethnic appointments, remove Shittu, produce a certificate atleast, etc and see people clamour for his return.

You must be very silly. Because I criticize Buhari now, I never voted APC. I bet you'd argue also that Saraki was never in APC, after all he is also anti-Buhari. The point I was making earlier is, "since APC has decided to continue the wrongs of PDP by manipulating the process and taking advantage of INEC as PDP did, then why did we vote in APC(thought they wanted to CHANGE the narrative), or were we deceived? APC cannot continue to do wrong under the excuse that PDP did same. It's lame.

Learn to comprehend an argument, before jumping to respond to it.

Now to our argument, please shoe where in my earlier statement I absolved PDP of blame. You lots really make someone detest anything Buhari cause your arguments are so incoherent and illogical.

What change please? Alot of you claim since PDP rigged before now, it is okay for APC to repay the favour. So what change is there if, "because PDP took advantage of the process and INEC, APC should do same."
Each time APC makes a wrong move and anyone complains, you lots say PDP did worse. So my question is, since APC is here to continue with PDP'S wrong move, why did we vote change? We could just have continued with PDP.

When PDP were in power don't they withdraw attached police and security personnel from the opposition incumbent Governor. It is a radical political culture.
Question is: why did we vote in APC, was it to maintain status quo or CHANGE things? We could have continued with PDP since we never really wanted to change PDP's style if doing things.

All these wailers are stupid. If APC wanted to actually distabilize adeleke it would have easily done so. If not for buhari intervention adeleke would have been in police custody on election day. So PDP should stop wailing and be grateful. After all you have done worse to opposition during your 16yr calamitous reign!
Why then did we vote in APC, was it to continue the wrong narrative? The way some of you reason baffles me. I equally supported Buhari, but that doesn't take away common sense. We voted in APC to right PDP's wrong. We could as well have continued with PDP since there's no change after all.

Most people on Osun election threads are 90% percent IBOs. The election is actually between APC & SDP. When I said Saraki is the best material for Nigeria as President, I know only very smart people can rule Nigeria. Nigeria does not need intelligent & hardworking person. Nigeria is like a Casino where gamblers, mafia, touts & area boys hold sway.

So, in Osun State or any South West Civil Service employment, education up to Secondary School level does not require certificate, you only need testimonial. I am yet to see a State in the South West where that is acceptable. FFK, Omisore & Ebenezer Babatope are from Osun State, they can ask them the requirements for employment into Civil Service as a School Cert holder.

Even in UN, EU and International NGOs jobs, education up to Secondary School level requires certificate . More importantly, people are attacking government over Adeleke issue but forgot it was PDP candidates that took him to Court over the certificate issue before the public became aware of it.

Till date, no person, organization, human rights group or Civil Society organization has the audacity to go to Court over Kemi Adeosun's matter for months while she is here.Even, they can still go to Court while she is in UK .She is just a victim of the system.

Only smart people can rule Nigeria. The entire system is bad beyond redemption. It is for people like Reno & co.
My brother, you skipped the question. Why invite Adeleke for interrogation, while leaving out Kemi? Who opened the can of worms is of no importance.
