It's not some weeks. The project is located in Abuja. And that is where I will be for the next 6 months for its final deployment and execution.

The south Africa trip itself is just 4 days. And I'll be back. But once I'm back and all goes well, I'd be moving to Abuja with my boss the next week.

I'm in a tight spot.

I don't think there's any tight spot in this matter. What's 6 months? There are people that stay away from their partners for a whole year and still keep in touch. Their love still keep on blazing and waxing stronger. It's not that it's a far away country. What's your worry all about? Is it about that for the 6 months you will stay in Abuja you won't be able to remain faithful to him while still Abuja or he won't remain faithful to you ? If it's none of that then I see no reason to be worried.

My candid advice is: Sit him down and have a heart to heart discuss with him. You ain't losing him and you ain't losing your career. You guys can do it this way- For the six months make sure you visit once a month making six times within the six months. And always make sure both of you communicate regularly cuz communication is a vital aspect of every relationship. Why so many relationships crumble, it's because there is no regular communication between the two parties involved. So make things work out by taking care of the two sides to make both work out.

To get laid by a Nigerian girl takes extra ordinary things and trust me it isn't all about your money or swag.

Have been there before, not GNLD but Forever Living Product. I incured debts that I was not able to pay. My family ended up paying the debts. It was very very hard convincing people in this Nigeria. How can you convince someone to even atleast attend the Business seminar? Thats a thug of war. I felt frustrated moving with the products from shop to shop trying to convince people to buy and also come to our seminar. I got lean cuz of those products that I bought with 70k which I borrowed from corporative which is gone down the drain.

I was not able to even refer a single person cuz they will tell u they don't have chance to come to your seminar. They have other things doing. Excuses upon excuses mehn it was highly frustrating.

I have sworn never to have anything to do with anything called Networking Business or referring Business.

If at all you want to go into it make sure u are really good at convincing people or else u will regret it when no one listen to u even after talking your Jaw out.

Look out for other business that doesn't require networking like u will bring 5,8, 10 persons for u to earn if u fail to bring u won't earn and they must register with nothing less than 35k.

Where is one going to bring those people from? Maybe from the village I guess.

The button line is Networking is quite tedious and Herculean in this country.

Dear OP you made two mistakes;

The first was,through your actions, you showed the girl that you love her a lot even before she got used to you. Therefore,she took advantage of that.

Secondly,that mssg you sent her was a wrong move because it only made her indignant and more defensive.
It's obvious the girl has lot of admirers and she saw you as one of them. Therefore,what your mssg implied to her was that you saw yourself as something other than that.

But the damage had been done,here is what you should do;

1) Send her an apology text without explicitly seeming sorry. E.g,"although your attitude was childish,I shldnt have sent such mssg to you. For that,I apologise"

2)Ignore her. Don't communicate with her again until you see her face to face.

These two moves have their purposes but I can't start explaining here.

You're in your late 20's that should be between the range of 20-22. You'r still young.

It is normal for every young man to have uncontrollable obsession about the opposite sex whom he had spent maximum time with on several occassion.

I was the type of guy that really didn't have much time for girls. I was always on my own. I did my own things. Have few male friends and most of the times girls were the ones giving me green lights but still ended up treating them as just friends.

I had it at the age of 25 cuz I fell in love when I was 25yrs.
At that time I was so much obsessed with the girl that I always wanted her to be beside me. She was always on my mind.

It all happened when she started staring at me whenever she sees me till one very good day, I gathered up courage to have a chit chat with her and boom she was all over me.
I decided to play around with her but never knew I would fall in deep ocean of love. That was how it all started.

In essence:

The more you spend time with a girl, the more you will fall in love with her. But as a young man you need to put your emotions in check so that you won't end up suffocating the girl with too much attention.

Keep your emotion in check. Do other things. Like me I hardly call a girl. Not that I do not call but I keep it to the minimum level cuz by the time you keep on giving her loads of calls , she will get tired of your calls and sometimes ignore your calls by that time you will be feeling uncared for and feel very bad. You will as well feel hurt and disappointed.

Majority of girls care less about how a guy feels about them. The emotional trauma you will pass through will be quite enormous. Thats why you need to be wise to always know when to draw the curtain. Free your mind. Reduce the level of how much you think about her. Do other things, call your male padies, chat with other of your female friends. In a short time, that pool of emotions you have for her will reduce.
